Want “Fit in is fit out”, aldus mijn fysio. Grappig genoeg bleek juist dat 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐧 me verder hielp. 😊

Everyone is frustrated with GitHub at this point. Reliability issues left and right. On top of that, it's entirely unclear if git and our current approach of versioning makes sense going forward. Code is becoming abundant and cheaper to generate. At the same time, the context, prompts and input to what generated the code become more important (and need to be versioned as well). Whether git is the protocol/technology we use going forward or not is hard to predict. What's definitely happening is that source code storage and versioning is being added as a feature to other platforms. Cursor and SpaceXAI are leading the charge and Cursor Origin really sets them apart from the other labs. Generate your code with Cursor, store your code in Cursor. It just makes sense. I'm excited that we integrated Jenkins and CloudBees CI (our enterprise product for Jenkins) with Cursor Origin. Thank you Davy L. Next week I'm stepping on stage at the Engage Customer Summit in London. 🇬🇧 🎤 Thursday, 8 October, 11:15–11:40, Loyalty, Retention & Growth stage: Customer Service Is the Most Underrated Growth Lever in Business. I'll talk about why the era of treating customer service as a cost line is over. Every day, thousands of customers reach out to your support team on their own, and in that moment you have their full attention. The question is how you turn that attention into revenue. Outside the session, find us at the Ace Waves booth C11 on both days. Scott Q. Gulfaraz Mabs A., Benn Woodbridge, Thomas Pellegrino and Matas Povilauskas will be there with me. Grab me after the talk, on the floor, or send me a message and we'll set something up. P.S. If you're in Amsterdam instead, Antanas Baksys, Jordi Storken and Wiktoria Polonska are at CCW Europe Digital (booth #58). 🌊 🏄♂️

Companies are rushing to adopt AI. Almost none are asking what happens to the data they feed it. On 8 October, join "Good AI vs. Bad AI: How to use AI in your company without giving away your competitive edge." We will cover: 🎯 Why general-purpose AI cannot see what actually makes your business profitable, and where the line sits between AI that sharpens your team and AI that quietly learns your know-how 🚀 How to roll out AI adoption without pushing people into shadow AI usage or shutting down team-wide resistance ✅ A practical framework for deciding what AI should and should not touch, plus a checklist to audit your own stack this week Register here: https://lnkd.in/dwMXP2eF

Sensitive data presents a paradox. Lock it down, and researchers cannot reach it. Open the door, and security vanishes. Most teams choose a third option. They travel. They fly researchers to a cold room, sit them next to the files, and ensure nobody takes a copy home. It works. But it only works until the collaboration spans three different countries, and your dwindling flight budget abruptly becomes your only form of access control. Listen to a quieter move. Keep the data exactly where it is. Put the Linux session right next to it. The dataset never leaves the enclave. Only the display travels. And suddenly, when a researcher logs in from across the ocean, they can interact effortlessly with RStudio, Matlab, and the lab's bespoke applications in real time, working as if they were sitting right at the local desk, analyzing the world's most sensitive information through a highly secure window that transmits the pixels but never the precious data itself. We just published a short film from the EOSC Siesta project on this exact pattern. ThinLinc provides one way to give people this vital access without moving the data. A museum is secure. A leak is open. Neither is the job.
- BubbleSince 10 Sept 2026
Bubble put out a report today that I wish every founder who calls us would read first. They looked at 250,000 apps. The ones that make money don't look different on launch day. They look different in the six months after. A few numbers that stuck with me: - Apps that monetize ship about 45 updates in their first six months. Apps that don't ship 2. - Nearly a third of money-making apps charge on day one. The rest usually get there within days, not months. - Apps with AI features monetize at nearly 3x the rate of apps without. - 70% of profitable apps are built by one person, but teams still monetize more often. Here's my take after building on Bubble and beyond it for years: Speed was never the hard part. Getting something live in three days is table stakes now, with or without AI. The hard part is showing up on day 47 to fix the thing your first paying customer complained about, and again on day 48. Most of the apps we get pulled into aren't broken. They're just stuck. The founder shipped, got busy, and the product stopped moving. The report has a name for that: 2 deploys. The other thing I'd underline is charging early. Not because it makes money, but because it's the only feedback that's honest. Free users are polite. Paying users tell you what's wrong. So if you're building this year, the question isn't "how fast can I launch?" It's "who is going to keep shipping after I do?" Answer that before you build anything.

I’ll say it again and again… Humans and Technology are 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 💯 Anyone who has moderated knows that 𝘈𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮. A very important distinction. For example: Two players calling each other names, one scenario is a ten-year trash talking friendship and in the other, the people are strangers. It’s the same words, but a very different situation. That difference is where even good technology can slip, and a player in the second scenario rarely files a report, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘵 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺. The teams I work with that are managing this well have found the right balance. Let AI take the scale, the spam, and the obvious violations at machine speed. Then have the people manage the calls that require deep judgment, the edge cases, cultural nuance, and the moments where getting it right really matters. And most importantly (really), let’s remember that the people making those decisions deserve support. We have learned through experience that moderators who are supported through 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 programs feel empowered and that empowerment leads to better judgement and longevity. They stay longer, know your community better, and quite frankly contribute to your bottom line!! In my humble opinion, they are worth protecting - so please, include humans in your moderation stack 🫶 #TrustAndSafety #ContentModeration #Gaming

Of reputatieschade. What did your customers complain about most last week? Answering a question like this usually means pulling data from several places, putting together a report and looking for patterns. With Daktela connected to Claude/ChatGPT through MCP, you can simply ask. “Why did customers contact us most often last week?” Claude/ChatGPT can look through tickets, emails, chats and call transcripts in Daktela and find that, for example, late deliveries were the most common complaint. From there, you can continue with the questions you would normally ask someone analysing the data: 👉 "When did this start?" Thursday afternoon, with most cases coming from one region. 👉 "Show me some typical calls." You get the relevant calls and their transcripts. 👉 "Which customers are still waiting for a reply?" You get the open tickets, starting with the oldest. The useful part is that you don’t have to know in advance which report you need. You can start with a question, see what the data says and follow wherever the answer takes you. And it’s not limited to customer care. Sales can check a customer’s support history before a meeting. Quality managers can analyse calls or review email quality using prepared prompts. MCP is quickly becoming a common way to connect business applications with AI assistants, and we’ve built it directly into Daktela. There’s nothing to install. Add your Daktela URL to your AI client, log in and start asking questions. Access is read-only by default. Setup guide: https://lnkd.in/dKA4YNEC #CustomerCare #ContactCenter #AI #MCP

On September 10th, Anthropic’s Threat Report revealed that a foundation model had been used by the ShinyHunters threat actor group to reverse 1.8 million apps on the Google Play store. The threat actors then downloaded, decompiled, and scanned the apps for credentials, API endpoints, and more. Within 34 hours 2100 Azure AD tokens were disseminated. This is a brave new world. Open AI warned us about this with their call for collective action. If you haven’t applied protections against reverse engineering to your mobile apps already, now is the time. If you need help, hit me up on DM. If you’d like an easy way to use AI to fight AI, check out the link in the comments for a description of our Quick Protect Agent, an agent that will apply basic protections that will provide resiliency against reverse engineering attacks.

The integration platform becomes accessible from the working environment instead of forcing another context switch. That distinction is more interesting to me than simply saying: “Now our integration platform has AI.” On Tuesday, Asmo Urpilainen will show exactly what that looks like with the Frends MCP Server. AI is fundamentally changing the speed at which companies can experiment, build and innovate. In my recent conversation with Brian Goffman of TPG, he shared examples of teams testing an idea in the morning, learning from it, and shipping improvements that same afternoon. That’s a remarkable change—and it gets to the heart of what I’ve been calling the Fourth Wave of software development. AI has dramatically accelerated the creation of software, but in most instances the rest of the enterprise has not kept pace. Planning, testing, security, and delivery all need to operate at a fundamentally different pace if companies are going to capture the full value of AI. And as more of that work shifts to AI and agents, one thing doesn’t change: accountability still sits with the humans running the company. Brian and I covered a lot of ground on what he’s seeing across the market, how AI is changing the way companies operate, and what leaders should be thinking about as this next wave takes shape. Great conversation with a lot of practical insight from someone with a unique vantage point across the industry. Link below, check it out!

Since we launched REX, the interest has been louder than anything we've seen. And it changed how we sell. Everyone buying AI right now is asking the same question: Is this real, and will it actually work for me? Most AI is sold on a promise and proven on the customer's time. And the current market is demanding real results, before actual commitment. We're lucky because REX shows results early enough that we don't have to ask for the benefit of the doubt. So we've moved to a POC-led process. We put REX on your real deals, you see what it does, then you decide. In a market full of promises, we'd rather show you. This worked really well, so we're reshaping the team around this motion and hiring 3 roles in London: → Founding SDR → Solutions Engineer → Customer Success Manager If you want to sell something that proves itself in front of the customer, come build this with us. https://lnkd.in/eckKrz4v

An AI you can keep improving Most AI tooling gives you limited visibility into what is happening under the hood. That is fine when everything works, but it makes it hard to improve things when it does not. HALO is built on the assumption that your team needs to be able to see, question, and correct what the AI is doing at any point. If you are managing AI for customer service, whether you built something yourself, stitched together tools, or are working with a platform that does not give you this level of insight, the gap between running an AI agent and actually managing one comes down to exactly this: can you see what it is doing, and can you act on it? The new analytics features make that more practical. If you are already using HALO, the Resolution Rate breakdown, Customer Feedback Score, and Topic Analysis are available in your analytics overview now.
