For a digital-only bank, the app isn't a channel. It's the branch, the teller, the vault door and the customer relationship, all in one download. And every copy in an app store is available for an attacker to take apart at their own pace. If your business lives in your app, your app needs to defend itself. See how Digital.ai helps FinTech organizations protect the applications their businesses depend on.

For a digital-only bank, the app isn't just another channel. It's the business. Our 2026 Threat Report found that banking apps saw attacks at a 91% rate. Every copy in an app store gives attackers an opportunity to take it apart at their own pace. Five PCI MPoC requirements each demand a 25-point attack rating. But having the right protection isn't enough. Your software protections have to stand up to independent evaluation, and the way labs score those protections matters. Join Digital.ai on October 21 or 22 to see how evaluation labs score attacks under Appendix B and what actually earns points. → Why scalability is the largest single scoring factor → How wrappers, protection SDKs, and code injection compare → What PCI's new AI-assisted-attack guidance changes → Where app hardening and white-box cryptography fit Attend live, or register to receive the recording.

Find out how your app holds up to an AI attack before a threat actor does. We'll assess your application the way an AI attacker would, then score it from 0 to 100 on how well it hides its code, resists tampering, detects attacks, and defends itself at runtime. Then we'll show you what's helping, what's hurting, and what to focus on first. You'll get: → Your AI Resilience Score → How you compare to your industry → Recommendations to improve your score

AI is fundamentally changing the speed at which companies can experiment, build and innovate. In my recent conversation with Brian Goffman of TPG, he shared examples of teams testing an idea in the morning, learning from it, and shipping improvements that same afternoon. That’s a remarkable change—and it gets to the heart of what I’ve been calling the Fourth Wave of software development. AI has dramatically accelerated the creation of software, but in most instances the rest of the enterprise has not kept pace. Planning, testing, security, and delivery all need to operate at a fundamentally different pace if companies are going to capture the full value of AI. And as more of that work shifts to AI and agents, one thing doesn’t change: accountability still sits with the humans running the company. Brian and I covered a lot of ground on what he’s seeing across the market, how AI is changing the way companies operate, and what leaders should be thinking about as this next wave takes shape. Great conversation with a lot of practical insight from someone with a unique vantage point across the industry. Link below, check it out!

On September 10th, Anthropic’s Threat Report revealed that a foundation model had been used by the ShinyHunters threat actor group to reverse 1.8 million apps on the Google Play store. The threat actors then downloaded, decompiled, and scanned the apps for credentials, API endpoints, and more. Within 34 hours 2100 Azure AD tokens were disseminated. This is a brave new world. Open AI warned us about this with their call for collective action. If you haven’t applied protections against reverse engineering to your mobile apps already, now is the time. If you need help, hit me up on DM. If you’d like an easy way to use AI to fight AI, check out the link in the comments for a description of our Quick Protect Agent, an agent that will apply basic protections that will provide resiliency against reverse engineering attacks.
