Today, GE Vernova held our third quarter 2026 earnings call to discuss our strong results and announcement to acquire Trench Group. In the third quarter, we recorded nearly $30 billion of orders, $12.6 billion of revenue, $1.9 billion of adjusted EBITDA, 690 basis points of organic adjusted EBITDA margin expansion and $5.4 billion of free cash flow generation. Our backlog grew to approximately $200 billion, driven by equipment growth at Power and Electrification and continued services growth at Power. Based on our strong performance, we also increased our full year 2026 guidance. Given our significant free cash flow generation, we ended the quarter with a cash balance of approximately $17 billion, up $4 billion sequentially, further increasing our confidence in executing organic investments and targeted M&A that will drive profitable growth while returning at least one-third of our cash generation to shareholders. We are excited to announce our agreement to acquire Trench Group, a global leader in high-voltage grid equipment. This high-growth acquisition will be immediately accretive, even before synergies, and aligns with our disciplined capital allocation priorities. We also announced an increase in our share buyback authorization from $10B to $20B. I am encouraged by our strong financial performance in the third quarter. Our growing backlog with improving margins, along with investments into our business, continues to provide an excellent foundation for further improvement in our financial performance moving forward. Cotygodniowe spotkanie Enzeit Technik. Kolega handlowiec wnioskuje o zakup śrub w ocynku ogniowym. Myślę sobie: here we go again... Wracamy do mojego poprzedniego posta.

How much fresh steam does your production process really need? In many industrial processes, evaporation is essential — from dairy and food ingredient production to chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing. But the vapour generated during evaporation still contains valuable energy. Instead of losing that heat, Mechanical Vapour Recompression (MVR) makes it possible to recover and reuse it within the process. By compressing vapour to increase its temperature, MVR can reduce the demand for fresh steam and improve thermal efficiency. Where could this create opportunities for industrial producers in Latvia and Lithuania? 🥛 Dairy processing and whey concentration 🌾 Starch, sugar and food ingredient production 🧪 Chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing ⚗️ Industrial evaporation, concentration and selected separation processes Every process is different. The real opportunity lies in identifying where existing production technology can be made more efficient through better heat integration. ▶️ Watch the video to see how MVR works. The voice-over in this video was generated using artificial intelligence. All visual footage is authentic, and no AI-generated visuals were used. For decades we have struggled to get a grip on bird collisions offshore. With the trial of the camera and AI based collision monitoring system developed by Wildlife Imaging Systems, the performance evaluated by Wageningen University & Research, we have shown this is now within reach. 👉 Read this article to learn more: https://lnkd.in/e28xJRh5 #Vattenfall #OffshoreWind #Biodiversity #BirdResearch #RenewableEnergy #EnvironmentalResearch

Understanding bird collision risk at offshore wind farms is within reach I´m excited to share the results of a year-long study at our Hollandse Kust Zuid offshore wind farm, trialing a new technology solution for monitoring collisions offshore. 📹 In this study, sixteen thermal cameras were installed on one turbine, twelve cameras monitoring the airspace below the rotor for falling objects and four cameras monitoring activity in the rotor swept area operating 24 hours a day. 📊 Wildlife Imaging Systems having developed the solution building on previous experience in the US, extracted and categorized tracks from the video images using computer vision and machine learning. Researchers from Wageningen University & Research scrutinised the data and assessed the overall performance of the technology. The results show the technology works very well under offshore conditions and is able to document bird collisions day and night and across a wide set of weather conditions. Why is this important? Every year, millions of passerines cross the North Sea during their spring and autumn migrations leading to concerns about collisions with offshore wind farms. Until now, estimates of offshore bird collisions have by and large been guesswork, and with this study, we are showing a way to move from assumptions to evidence-based insights. The better we understand when and under what circumstances collisions happen, the more realistic assessments we can make for future wind farms and the better mitigation measures we can adopt, securing a nature-inclusive expansion of offshore wind. 🌍 This research is part of Vattenfalls voluntary and long-running environmental R&D programme aiming to improve the evidence base on the impacts of wind farms and how these might be most efficiently mitigated. ▶️ Watch the short video below to learn more about the study and don't hesitate to reach out.

I still remember the first time I watched a child in the Ecuadorian Amazon sit down in front of a computer. It was 2001, and SLB was supporting schools in communities around Lago Agrio through the SEED program, a cornerstone of support for education, technology, and inclusion. For many students, the screen, keyboard, and mouse were completely unfamiliar. But uncertainty quickly turned into curiosity, and then excitement. You could almost see a new world opening in front of them. That experience has stayed with me for 25 years. What began with computer labs and internet access grew into something much bigger. We supported schools with technology, training, and innovative learning methods like robotics workshops and digital literacy programs. But the goal was never simply to provide equipment. It was to inspire confidence and help young people imagine a future that once seemed out of reach. One of my proudest memories was bringing teachers from SLB-supported schools together to present exciting projects inspired by their learning experiences. Seeing educators become agents of change within their communities demonstrated the multiplying impact of education. That impact has also included a commitment to fostering inclusion, both within our workplaces and through initiatives like educational centers serving people with disabilities—all dedicated to ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to contribute and succeed. The lessons I've taken away from these experiences? Talent exists everywhere, but opportunity is what unlocks it. Inclusion is not only a value, but a responsibility that strengthens both communities and organizations. As SLB celebrates its centennial, I'm proud to have been a part of promoting education and inclusion to create meaningful and sustainable change. I still remember those students seeing a computer for the first time, 25 years ago. What I didn't imagine then was the remarkable success many of them achieved. Some of the kids who once studied in the schools we supported are now professionals, leaders, and innovators. Some are even my colleagues at SLB! It's a powerful reminder that when we invest in young people, we are also investing in the future of our communities, our industry, and our company. Because technology and innovation matter. But so do the lives that are transformed along the way. To me, the greatest legacy of SLB across 100 years is creating opportunities in our communities for people to learn, grow, and build a better future for themselves and others, today and for future generations. That's the real power of opportunity: It keeps growing long after the first door is opened. #SLB100 #OurCenturyOurStories #CommunityService

When people think of energy innovation, they often picture towering wind turbines or vast solar fields. Yet one of the most remarkable energy stories I’ve witnessed in Türkiye has been unfolding quietly beneath our feet. I’ve worked closely with the geothermal industry through much of its growth, watching it evolve from a niche resource into an important part of Türkiye’s energy mix. Twenty years ago, the country's geothermal power capacity was barely in the single-digit megawatts. Today, it stands at nearly 1.8 GW. That’s 1,800 megawatts! That change didn't happen overnight. It was driven by ingenuity, investment, and the determination to overcome complex technical challenges. It was also about much more than simply generating electricity: It was about turning an untapped resource into long-term value for communities and industries. Today, Türkiye stands among the world's leading geothermal power producers, demonstrating the important role that renewable baseload energy can play in strengthening energy security. The most rewarding aspect of this journey for me? Watching the impossible become possible. We often talk about game-changing technologies. In geothermal, I've had the privilege of seeing several of them transform the industry firsthand. In the early days, carbonate-rich reservoirs created severe scaling challenges, quickly making wells unprofitable and requiring lengthy workovers to keep production flowing—until a better understanding of reservoir behavior and more effective scale inhibition practices changed that reality. I also remember when finding downhole pumps that could operate reliably at high temperatures and limited setting depths was a significant challenge. Today, modern electric submersible pump (ESP) systems can operate much deeper and withstand temperatures of up to 250°C. Drilling technology has evolved just as dramatically. We can now drill multiple directional wells from a single location, expanding reservoir access while reducing the surface footprint. Türkiyes geothermal journey demonstrates what can be achieved when natural potential meets supportive government policies, long-term vision, and technological innovation. It's a story of resilience, collaboration, and the courage to invest in solutions that may not always be visible on the surface. As SLB marks 100 years, geothermal gives me a different way to think about time. The heat we are learning to use has been beneath us for millions of years, while the technologies that make it accessible efficiently are improving dramatically. And I believe we’re just beginning a new chapter of even greater transformation. Around the world, vast geothermal resources remain untapped. By building on our achievements and scaling them globally, geothermal energy can become a cornerstone of a sustainable energy future. #SLB100 #OurCenturyOurStories #Innovation

Unsere Mission? Gesundheit. Ganz ohne Helikopter. Was mich an dieser Folge besonders freut?

No more heat. No more heat!" #Fudura #StichtingBambanani #EnergyForGood #zon #energie #verkoeling #ZuidAfrika #Vooruitgang #Verbinding #Deveranderingvoorinenergie

Moore's Law for batteries is not every two years. It is closer to every twenty years. The reason comes down to how the two industries are built. The chip industry scales on a standardized foundation: silicon wafers, the CMOS process, photolithography, common design rules, and an industry roadmap that every supplier and customer plans around. The fundamentals stay fixed, and the work is making them smaller and faster. In batteries, the fundamentals are still changing. New chemistries, materials, and cell architectures keep arriving, from graphite to silicon anodes and from liquid electrolytes to solid-state. Each shift can demand different materials, equipment, and manufacturing processes, so the ecosystem has to be rebuilt every time. That is the real lesson from chips, and it shaped our strategy at Factorial. As a leader in next-generation batteries, we made two choices. First, we focus on new chemistries without substantially changing the manufacturing process. That keeps our innovation compatible with the infrastructure the industry already has. Second, that discipline lets us operate as a fabless innovator. The best way to compete with Intel is not to become another Intel. It is to become Nvidia and invite TSMC together to lead, pairing breakthrough design with a deep manufacturing partnership. So we are building a supply ecosystem of partners who innovate alongside us. Technology creates possibility. Ecosystems create industry leadership. That is what we are building at Factorial: not just a better battery, but the connective thread that moves the industry forward.
