Build the app you actually envisioned, not what AI decides to generate. With Bubble, you control every part of your app. Data, workflow, automations, and design all visible and editable by you.

Bubble analyzed 250K+ apps to uncover what separates prototypes from apps that monetize: → Charge early → Ship steadily → Edit ruthlessly → Build boldly Explore free report The Business of Building 2026.

Bubble put out a report today that I wish every founder who calls us would read first. They looked at 250,000 apps. The ones that make money don't look different on launch day. They look different in the six months after. A few numbers that stuck with me: - Apps that monetize ship about 45 updates in their first six months. Apps that don't ship 2. - Nearly a third of money-making apps charge on day one. The rest usually get there within days, not months. - Apps with AI features monetize at nearly 3x the rate of apps without. - 70% of profitable apps are built by one person, but teams still monetize more often. Here's my take after building on Bubble and beyond it for years: Speed was never the hard part. Getting something live in three days is table stakes now, with or without AI. The hard part is showing up on day 47 to fix the thing your first paying customer complained about, and again on day 48. Most of the apps we get pulled into aren't broken. They're just stuck. The founder shipped, got busy, and the product stopped moving. The report has a name for that: 2 deploys. The other thing I'd underline is charging early. Not because it makes money, but because it's the only feedback that's honest. Free users are polite. Paying users tell you what's wrong. So if you're building this year, the question isn't "how fast can I launch?" It's "who is going to keep shipping after I do?" Answer that before you build anything. Most people view entrepreneurship through a lens of filtered social media clips and vanity metrics. They treat it like a career branding exercise, pedestalizing the lifestyle before they’ve even done the work. I prefer the clients who have already shed that fantasy, constantly building and testing their ideas with tools like Bubble before they even walk through our door. The best clients we work with don't care about the performance of success. They’ve usually been through the wringer before: maybe they’ve failed, maybe they’ve built smaller things, or maybe they’ve been grinding since they were kids. They understand that this path isn't a shortcut to fame or a dopamine hit from attention. It is a series of long, repetitive, and often unglamorous cycles that require a specific kind of mental armor. When a founder comes to us, I don't look for the ones with the most polished pitch. I look for the operators who are impervious to the noise and focused entirely on the machinery of growth. By the time they partner with us, they are usually ready to double down on the velocity they’ve already proven is possible with Bubble. If you are waiting for a moment of glory, you are already behind. If you are ready to put in the work that no one sees, that is when the real output starts. Success isn't about being seen; it's about being relentless.

I have zero regrets about passing on the traditional VC-backed path. I’ve seen the math, and I’m not interested in a probability curve that relies on luck to survive. I’m not trying to build a rocket that might explode on the pad; I’m building a reliable engine that grinds out wins every single day. And that's why I'm a fan of Bubble. The game is simple. You take a dollar, you turn it into two, and you do it again. You make smart moves, you allocate capital with a cool head, and you let time do the heavy lifting. If you can keep the machine running, using tools like Bubble to iterate and scale, and stay focused on the mechanics of growth, it’s actually hard to mess it up. I’m playing for a billion dollars over the next forty years, not a lucky break in the next three. I’d rather bet on a boring, inevitable compounding machine than a flashy, high-risk toss of the dice. Speed, consistency, and a relentless focus on the output, that’s how you actually get there.

This one will be stratospheric for the Bubble community: logic branching, For and While loops in your apps. The team still needs some time to get this ready to ship but here's a clip from today's demo livestream
