Monday mornings usually feel a little different. In my case, they usually start with the transition from weekend mode back into the working week — getting the kids out of the house with teeth brushed, lunch packed, homework in school bag, appropriate clothes on etc., checking the calendar, catching up on what has changed and figuring out what needs attention first. And I suspect that slightly chaotic feeling is pretty familiar. Because in the workplace, Monday is often the point where plans meet reality. Demand has changed. Some people are absent. Schedules need adjusting. Priorities have shifted. And before the week has really started, decisions are already waiting. For many managers, though, the first task isn’t deciding what to do next. It’s figuring out what happened. Where are the gaps? What changed? What needs attention first? And before they can decide what to do, they first have to piece together the relevant information from different sources. That takes time. And it leaves less room to anticipate what might happen next. That’s exactly why we’re introducing Workforce Intelligence. A new capability in workforce management that combines workforce data, automation and agentic AI with decades of workforce management expertise — providing more context, foresight and decision support while keeping human judgment at the center. And that’s the shift we want to see in workforce management: From reporting to insight. From insight to recommendation. From recommendation to action. The goal is simple: less time spent looking backwards, more clarity about what comes next. I think the team captured that Monday-morning feeling pretty well in this short video we filmed at Zukunft Personal Europe 2026. #WorkforceIntelligence #WorkforceManagement #AgenticAI #ATOSS

Workforce management is moving higher up the leadership agenda. With workforce data, automation and agentic AI, HR leaders have the opportunity to go beyond reacting to what has already happened. They can spot changes earlier, explore possible scenarios, set priorities based on relevant data and receive concrete recommendations for what to do next. That is the idea behind Workforce Intelligence at ATOSS. I’m looking forward to being at UNLEASH World in Paris, where we’ll be sharing more about how this is taking shape and where we see workforce management heading next. If you’re attending too, feel free to reach out. I’m looking forward to exchanging ideas, hearing different perspectives and having some great conversations in Paris. Who else will be there? #ATOSS #WorkforceManagement #HRtech #AI

“Purpose muss man nur richtig erklären.” “Future Skills.” Sollten eigentlich Old Skills heißen.

Wer Aivy selbst ausprobieren möchte - hier entlang: 👉 https://lnkd.in/dVREzq58

Are you attending Workday Rising next week? GT Clocks will be there as attendees, October 12 to 15 and wed love to meet you. Quick context on who we are, in case were new to you. Based in Florida, GT Clocks makes the timeclocks that sit at the front end of your Workday HCM. The hardware captures the moment work starts, whether that’s on the floor, at the start of the line, or at the door, and feeds the data straight into Workday through Workday Design Approved integration. This helps ensure payroll reflects the hours employees genuinely worked. And where you choose to switch on biometric verification, buddy punching stops at the terminal. If timeclocks properly integrated with Workday are on your agenda, let's discuss how you're set up and what you're trying to fix, and I'll give you a straight view on the best route forward. We don't have a booth at Workday Rising this year, so there are two ways to catch us: • Book 30 minutes during one of the days and we'll meet somewhere convenient, either in or near the conference • Join us for drinks at Juliet Cocktail Room in the Venetian, Tuesday October 13, 6 to 8pm (RSVP, spaces limited) Either way, it's a relaxed first conversation. If there's more to talk about, we'll set up a proper follow-up once Rising is over. We hope to meet you in Vegas next week! https://lnkd.in/eMZCW4HS

Are you heading to Workday Rising next month? 👋 Ben Lagden and I will be in Las Vegas and looking forward to catching up with partners, SIs, customers and anyone thinking about the physical side of time and attendance. A lot of the conversations we have start with a pretty simple challenge: you've got the workforce system sorted, but how are employees actually clocking in and out? That's where our timeclocks come in. Through GT Time, they connect directly into Workday via a Workday Design Approved integration, so hours captured on the floor arrive in Workday without rekeying. If you're working on a Workday implementation that needs physical time capture, I'd love to hear what you're seeing and talk through how our hardware could complete the picture. If 15 to 30 minutes together in Vegas would be useful, drop me a message or book a time with Ben using the link in the comments.

Waar ligt welke verantwoordelijkheid?

Oppijalla itsellään on iso vastuu. We just published our 2026 report on employment costs in APAC. Something that has emerged from the data: the markets that are most attractive for distributed teams are not always the ones that look most attractive on a salary benchmark. Take Vietnam. The employer contribution rate at local developer salary is 22.9% — second highest in the region after China. But because contributions are capped, the same rate drops to 13.8% on a $40,000 harmonised salary. The cap means the more you pay someone, the lower your effective contribution rate. Senior hires get proportionally less expensive as the salary rises. Hong Kong does the same thing. On a local developer salary of $70,398, the employers MPF rate is 3.8%. Below the cap, the full 5.5% applies. So a market that looks like a high-cost headquarters hub is actually one of the most structurally efficient places in the region to employ senior technical talent. This is the kind of thing that doesn't show up in a cost-of-living comparison or a salary guide. It only shows up when you model the full employment cost — what you actually pay, not just what you offer. This kind of data is key for making strategic decisions on where to hire. We have covered 18 APAC markets in the report. The full breakdown is free to read – link in comments. I’ll be sharing findings from comparisons to our European report in coming weeks.

One of the most common questions I get from recruitment partners and staffing brokers is: how do we actually employ someone in Sweden or Norway? It sounds straightforward. But once you start looking at tax registration, employment contracts, social contributions and compliance – it's rarely as simple as it first appears. That's where Employer of Record (EOR) services come in. Instead of building that infrastructure yourself, you work with one of the Employer of Record companies in Sweden or Norway that already has it in place. Cool Company acts as the legal employer. We handle employer of record payroll, taxes and reporting. Your consultant gets onboarded correctly from day one – and you stay focused on the relationship with your client. For staffing brokers managing multiple suppliers across different countries, an employer of record solution also means one single point of accountability. Less complexity. More control. If you're curious about how it works in practice, I'm happy to walk you through it. → https://lnkd.in/d5MPyVMa

I once worked with a safety team on a mine site that kept missing things it should have caught. Experienced people, and they worked hard. When we mapped how each of them worked, the picture explained it. Almost the whole team sat on the same side of the wheel: people who get the job done and people who check the detail. One evaluator, the person who steps back and asks whether we're solving the right problem, had been talked over for years. There was no villain in it. Teams drift toward the way their leader works, and nobody notices until something gets missed. A team doesn't need eight people. It needs eight kinds of work covered, by someone on the team or by a process that does the job. In my experience most leadership teams cover three or four of them well and assume the rest. Our two-minute assessment shows each person their own pattern. Put your leadership team's results on one page and the gaps show up fast. THE CANDIDATE JOURNEY IS DATA. 👀 What if your ATS didn’t just store candidates… …but actually understood the journey? That’s where Loxo gets interesting. One source of truth. One 360° view of everything from first search → first interaction → interview → offer → hire. MCP connects your private Loxo data with AI assistants like ChatGPT / Claude. Loxo AI Chat lets you interrogate that ecosystem. 🧐 And AI gets smarter the more you use it - learning hiring habits, preferences and cultural alignment. Then layer in Agents, Triggers & Automations. Best practice becomes part of the workflow 🏅 And suddenly you can analyse: When. Where. How. Who. What worked. What didn’t. Even the all-important human touch.💜 Because candidate experience shouldn’t disappear once the hire is made. If they become a great employee - understand the journey that got them there. If they don’t - understand what could have been better. Nothing in recruitment is perfect. But we can mitigate risk, learn and improve. Less disconnected systems. Less siloed data. More intelligence. More control. A true 360° almost 🦉 type view of the candidate journey. #Loxo #TalentAcquisition #RecruitmentTech #AI #CandidateExperience

In the Aerospace and Defence industry, workforce planning is rarely straightforward. I’ve worked with operations teams managing multiple sites, rotating shifts, safety-critical roles and different compliance rules depending on the programme. It’s not just “fill the shift”, it’s making sure the right, qualified people are in the right place, at the right time. Where I see teams struggle is when they’re trying to force that complexity into a generic scheduling tool. It creates workarounds, spreadsheets and a lot of manual checking. With Crown Workforce Management, we configure shift patterns and rule sets to reflect the reality on the ground, by site, role and qualification/skills. Automated compliance checks and real-time visibility mean less firefighting and more control. How are you currently managing multi-site scheduling complexity in Aerospace and Defence?

⚠️ Due diligence still matters, just not in the way many expect. As Shaziya Kurmani explains in this clip, no amount of due diligence will defend you from joint and several liability under the new umbrella rules. But that does not make due diligence redundant. Checking umbrella suppliers still plays a crucial role in identifying bad actors and reducing the likelihood of tax non-compliance in the first place. In other words, it will not protect you after something goes wrong, but it can make it far less likely that something does go wrong. There is also a wider compliance picture to consider. Beyond employment tax, organisations still need to think about obligations under the Criminal Finances Act, where reasonable supplier checks remain a key defence. That balance, understanding what due diligence does and does not protect you from, is where many teams are getting stuck. This is exactly what Shaziya and I explored in our recent session together. We focused on what the reforms actually change, where organisations remain exposed, and what practical steps teams should be taking now to reduce risk. If you missed it, you can watch the full webinar recording here: https://lnkd.in/dFXdRFzW You can also listen to our podcast episode with Shaziya, where we go deeper into the role of due diligence, lessons from past reforms, and what leaders should be doing ahead of April 2026: https://lnkd.in/efs6wKYQ #UmbrellaReform #WorkforceRisk #UKCompliance
