The future of business is female“. CII, EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime are not three reporting problems. They are one commercial problem 👇 The IMO timeline keeps tightening, and every step of it turns emissions into a line on your P&L. Yet most operators still treat compliance as a separate workflow. A team collects the data, produces the reports, and everyone finds out at the end of the year where the fleet landed. By then the cost is already locked in. → A CII rating that slipped because of a handful of badly optimised legs → Allowances bought at a price nobody planned for → A FuelEU balance managed after the fact instead of across the year → Charterers asking questions your reports answer too late Compliance is not decided in the annual report. It is decided voyage by voyage, at the moment a route and a speed are chosen. Which is why those constraints belong inside voyage planning itself, next to fuel, ETA and commercial obligations. When they sit there, the question changes. It stops being how do we stay compliant, and becomes how do we run this voyage at the lowest total cost, regulation included. Same decision, better information. Less fuel, fewer emissions, fewer surprises at year end. What regulatory exposure actually costs a fleet, and how to plan around it 👇 → https://lnkd.in/e9dCS_TT

2 Stunden - jeden Tag !

edjing Mix is featured by Apple for iPhone Duo, with the new “Made for iPhone Duo” badge. 🙌 Proud to see edjing Mix featured in Apple’s Newsroom for the launch of iPhone Duo, among the first 50 apps showcased, alongside Netflix, Instagram, PGA Tour and so many other amazing apps. For us, the journey started at #WWDC. Apple’s announcements around resizable interfaces in iOS 27 offered a glimpse of where things were heading and got us thinking about what that could mean for edjing Mix. Then came the iPhone Duo announcement, followed by workshops in Paris organised by Martin Vialle. Those sessions (and Martin) challenged us to rethink how people could experience edjing on this new device. We went well beyond adapting the app to new screen sizes. We reimagined the experience specifically around the different ways people can use iPhone Duo: 🎧 Closed: a familiar, compact mixing experience, ready to use on the go. 🎛️ Opened: the decks, mixer and music library come together on the larger inner display, with more room to browse tracks and perform with both hands. 🙌 In tent mode: set iPhone Duo down, choose music through its artwork and let AI Automix take over with a hands-free DJ set. Unfold it whenever you want to return to the mixing controls. The interface adapts between positions while the mix keeps playing. For me, iPhone Duo is the most significant iPhone launch in years. It changes how people can use their phone and gives us, as developers, new opportunities to rethink the experiences we build. Thank you to Martin and the teams at Apple for creating the space to explore those possibilities together, and to our teams at MWM for bringing them to life. 🤝

4 German insurers asked me the same question in one week. "Can we just buy German carbon credits?" You certainly can. Here's what it costs: --> The cheapest credible German project, regenerative agriculture, is around €50 a tonne. --> Peatland is closer to €100. --> Biochar is around €170 and more. Average that and you're at €70 to €100 a tonne. I don't know a lot of German companies willing to pay that tbh... A mixed portfolio with an international share lands at €25 to €55. Soooo what I usually suggest: 1. Write down your requirements first. Then build the portfolio. Not the other way round. 2. Keep 1-2 German projects. The ones that you also want to visit. 3. Fill the rest internationally and let the ratings and ICVCM do the work. At least BBB, ideally A or better. And skip the old "trick" of pairing a nice local project with a cheap registry credit. That model was built to say "climate neutral". That claim is gone. And it is very much 2022. Local is a story. On its own, it's not a quality signal. How much of your portfolio has to be local before your board is happy?

People regularly ask me why, if we can see which technologies are going to win, I'm not on a yacht outside Monaco. We could, and we've shown that we can. Before COVID, Thijs and I were in talks with a large Dutch investment firm to invest part of their portfolio based on our insights. Then the markets crashed, the talks were over, and we realized that's not what motivates us anyway. In VC, a commonly heard phrase is "spray and pray". You invest in a bunch of things and hope the one that sticks pays for all the mistakes. In R&D you have that on steroids. People don't know where it's going, so they invest in everything and anything, it's all very expensive, and we can show that the vast majority of it makes no sense, and that meanwhile many opportunities get missed. So that's what Thijs and I went after instead. Still no yacht.

Vibe coding speeds up typing. Model-driven AI speeds up the whole business. 🚀 Watch Tim Miranda build a mortgage pre-approval app in Launchpad.io in under 4 minutes. Tim asks the AI Assistant for one thing: show the down payment percentage on the case. The AI doesn’t write 1000s of lines of code. It creates a decision rule, a calculated field, and a UI update, all on a named branch, with a summary anyone can read. Then Tim says: “If the down payment is under 10%, send it to a human.” Now there’s a governed routing rule, and the next application lands in an underwriter’s queue for review. That’s the difference. Same routing logic whether he asks today or tomorrow. Vibe coding gives you code you have to own. Launchpad’s AI gives you a model you can read, govern, and ship to 1,000 customers, with security and multi-tenancy already built in. Same speed. Same conversation. None of the tech debt. 👉 Explore the full series: https://lnkd.in/gFSFMH_Z

We pay for tools that show where AI cites our clients’ competitors and not them. Microsoft just started showing that for free. Bing is the search engine everyone forgets about. It's also where our own agency went from zero to 58 AI citations. Now Microsoft has added a tab to Bing Webmaster Tools that shows you the questions where Copilot and Bing's AI summaries cite other sites and not you. It's called Topics Portfolio, it's free, and the data comes straight from the engine itself. That's normally the kind of data we pay AI visibility tools for. We pick the prompts that matter for a client, compare them with their competitors, and look at where they're missing. Getting a version of that from Microsoft directly is a pretty good start. The numbers aren't exact, and Microsoft says so itself. They come as ranges, and the advice is to use them for direction. Which is how I'd read every AI visibility tool. If you already have Bing Webmaster Tools set up, have a look. And if you don’t, this tab alone is a decent reason to. Smaller sites might not see it yet, though.

The internet is full of advice about how companies should work in the age of AI. But real companies still have real problems to solve today: systems that don’t connect as they should, limited time and budgets, and important projects and platforms that need to keep running - all while we build what comes next with AI and other technology. That’s the reality of integration work and IT development in general. And it takes more than half-baked ideas, fancy architecture pictures, idealistic best practices and linkedin posts to get it done: it takes people who can see the bigger picture, work together, and turn plans into solutions. People who dare to also ask should it be built in the first place even if you could? That’s one of the reasons I’ve enjoyed 13 years at Solita. I get to work with people smarter than me, who bring vision and drive, are serious about making things actually happen without taking themselves too seriously. We work hard, keep things good-natured, and have fun along the way. I’m building our internal Business Tech & Development team in that same spirit. I’m looking for someone who can see through the AI noise, make a plan, and roll up their sleeves alongside our experts to deliver it. Someone excited to build the solutions of tomorrow without losing sight of the needs of today.

Every GTM team buys contact data. (most pay 3x what they should) Here’s the fix: I was using several email providers at once, because one was never enough to cover my lists. Each one priced differently, and the data quality was all over the place. At volume the bill got heavy, and half the time I couldn't tell which tool was actually giving me good emails. So I put 10 of them side by side, on the same contacts. Email finding: 300 prospects. Lead database: 1,000 LinkedIn profiles. One tool won both tests. Cheapest per usable email, and the best data: → 79% find rate → 1.33% bounce → 97% LinkedIn coverage Result: $4.99 per 1,000 emails found. I had been paying $17.70 on average. Curious which one? I’m on holiday this week, still wearing a SlideHub T-shirt, and marketing can’t stop me from posting these photos. 😉 Just like they can’t stop salespeople from making their own presentations with AI. So instead of trying to control every deck, we need to give people approved slides they can easily reuse and tailor to each customer, within the boundaries marketing sets up, and connect that content to tools like Claude and ChatGPT. By pure coincidence, I ran into one of our (SlideHub) customers here on Lanzarote, and he asked me what AI means for SlideHub. This is a big part of my answer. Marketing used to have some control over sales content because they had the time and skills to produce it. AI has changed that arrangement. Now when people can't find what they need, they just build it. Someone with a customer meeting tomorrow can now make a decent-looking deck without going anywhere near what marketing gave them. I understand the temptation. It solves the problem for the person making the presentation. Not necessarily for the company, which may now have another deck with claims nobody checked and figures nobody is keeping current. So one of the ways in which AI is impacting us is that it changes the product vision. It’s not just “How can we help someone make slides faster?” It’s now more “How do we make the material marketing has already prepared useful wherever people are creating?” That’s the thinking behind connecting the SlideHub library to Claude and ChatGPT. We’re not going to stop people making presentations with AI. Our goal is to give sales and customer success customizable content that helps them close the deal or grow the account, so they can walk into every conversation with confidence instead of building something new each time. And with Send and Track, we give them a way to optimize their meetings and better plan their follow-ups, while marketing can see which slides are actually being sent to prospects. Marketing’s work should become the starting point people reach for first, not something they bypass. That is my five cents from the "post-workout pool" :)

FOTO: Marc Roed

The controls enterprises run in the browser answer one question: should the site load or extension install? Enterprise browsers, gateways, DNS filters, extension allowlists. They decide at the door, then stop watching. An AI agent's risk starts after that decision. When Claude in Chrome or GPT-6 Astra operates the browser, it works inside the session with the employee's signed-in identity. It reads email, clicks into approval workflows, and moves data between the apps that profile is signed in to. Today Manifold announces coverage for what happens after the door. One extension in managed Chromium browsers, pushed through MDM. It knows which tab is talking to which AI provider and binds only to those sessions; traffic that isn't an AI session is never collected. For agents that drive the browser, it reconstructs every step into one auditable timeline: the prompt, each tool call, the approval decision, the result, and page-level evidence, correlated by tab and time. A step that breaches policy is flagged and recorded as it happens. All of it runs in the same Manifold policy engine and audit pipeline: - AI in tabs: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor and more - Agents that operate the browser: Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT and Gemini agents, more to follow - Autonomous development agents like Replit Read more here: https://lnkd.in/d3ScY8Qn

AI agents never stop halfway. They take a task, harness every tool and data point needed, and move nonstop at machine speed. So, here’s the question security leaders must ask themselves: Is your #AI security designed to protect you all the way? For many organisations, the answer is no. They find shadow AI but can’t fully stop it. They filter prompts but overlook APIs and agent actions. They know where sensitive data lives but don’t control what agents access. They see every AI agent yet govern none. When the thing you’re protecting never pauses, halfway security becomes just an open door with good lighting. That’s why we created the Thales AI Security Fabric, to secure AI completely: →𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 every AI app, model, and agent, including the ones nobody approved → 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 the sensitive data AI agents touch, with access controls, encryption, tokenization, and key management built in → 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 what agents can do, with real identities and enforceable policies through one AI security control plane → 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫 AI behaviour continuously, so risky actions are caught as they happen → 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲 with confidence as AI regulations take shape around the world This isn’t just a security issue. Boards demand AI’s benefits, customers expect their data safe, and regulators require proof. None of this trust can exist if security stops halfway. Trusted AI means secure AI, and secure AI means securing all AI - the apps, agents, data, and models. AI goes all the way. Your security should too. Halfway is no way. http://thls.co/8w9350ZYPfE #AISecurity #AgenticAI #DataSecurity
