When your CEO asks you to prove the impact of your communications strategy, you shouldnt have to wait days or weeks for someone to pull together the answer. Yet thats the reality for many corporate communications executives. Most corporate comms executives arent making decisions directly from their data because they never actually get their data. What they use to make decisions or prove value is typically a report thats been interpreted for them. Those reports work in a fixed environment, but Ive rarely seen them hold up to meaningful pressure, like when the strategy is being questioned, when the impact needs to be proven, or when the budget is at risk. In those moments, canned intelligence isnt effective. And you quickly see how ineffective your data workflows actually are. All new questions take days or weeks to answer because of the number of hands they have to pass through. And in a multi-vendor environment- forget about it! If you and your teams dont have direct access to all of your data in a usable format, you are already behind. #CorporateAffairs #CorporateCommunications #DataInfrastructure #DataStrategy #DataQuality #DataOwnership #CommunicationMeasurement #PRmeasurement #StrategicCommunications #strategy #leadership #StrategicComms

I was in SF last week, and it’s hard not to notice all the AI company billboards. Nobody drives past a billboard at 70 mph, pulls over, and signs a 6-figure contract. You buy out-of-home for share of voice. When someone enters a buying cycle months later, you want your brand to be the default in their head. AI search visibility works a lot like that. When a model answers a buyer’s prompt, it synthesizes the answer right there. Buyers rarely click out. A lot of this is zero-click. That doesn’t mean you stop tracking clicks and pipeline. Understanding attribution, wherever you can get it, is still part of being a good marketer. It means you borrow from the people who’ve been measuring billboards for decades. Out-of-home has precedent: impressions, reach, cost per thousand views, brand and search lift in the markets where the board went up. You can do the same with AI search. Google Search Console already counts AI Overview appearances in your impressions. Treat that like billboard viewership. Put your spend against it and you have a rough cost per viewer to weigh into ROI. Then layer in share of recommendation across prompts, branded search lift, and what buyers say on sales calls about how they found you. It’s mixed-model attribution. It gets messy. And it’s going to keep getting harder. That’s not a reason to ignore the channels where pipeline is easy to attribute. It’s a reason to make them work together. Take a mental model that works somewhere else and apply it here. Just keep checking that your KPIs match the kind of marketing you’re actually doing.

For over two years, our electrical engineering team at StarFish Medical has used Cadstrom.io for AI-driven schematic reviews and it has changed how we work. We used to hold multiple design reviews towards the end of a design: several long meetings, line by line, hunting for errors in a nearly finished schematic. Now Cadstrom.io checks every revision as we go. Pin assignment errors and inconsistent pin naming get flagged when they’re introduced, not weeks later during layout or bring-up. The results have added up: 🔹 Shorter design cycles. Catching issues early means fewer board re-spins and faster bring-up. 🔹 Less library maintenance. We no longer spend hours checking every symbol up front. Cadstrom finds the problems, and we fix them as they appear. 🔹 More confidence. Our engineers have far less hesitation when it’s time to order boards. 🔹 Time for bigger ideas. We still hold design reviews, but they now focus on the overall solution architecture rather than pin-level detail. The time we’ve reclaimed goes into innovation and solving our clients’ hardest problems. In medical device development, quality and speed matter in equal measure. Moving from one big review at the end to continuous checking has been one of the most valuable process changes we’ve made. If your team still saves schematic review for the end of a project, it’s worth a look: Cadstrom.io #MedicalDeviceDesign #ElectricalEngineering #PCBDesign #MedTech #AI

This weekend I am playing around with the BMI088 and the new Arduino UNO Q! 🤖 (I would like a Ventuno but I have way too many SBc to justify a personal purchase). Got the accelerometer and gyroscope working, and now I'm playing with how the two brains on the UNO Q work together. The sensor data is collected by the microcontroller, passed to the Qualcomm Dragonwing QRB2210 running Linux, and then made available through ROS 2 Jazzy. Pretty cool to have a microcontroller and a Qualcomm processor working together on a single Arduino board! Next, I'd like to test a few more sensors, starting with the BMP581. It’s always fun to play with sensors and see how they could fit into some robots! To witness the embodiment of a brand's 'independent soul' is the most inspiring moment for us as brand builders. Today, it stands here carrying our new design language. It does not tell someone else' s story. Every line declares one thing: 'I am who I am.' Behind this is our fundamentally different answer to premium. True luxury must ignite deep emotional resonance, and it must deliver an immersive symphony of the five senses — and all of that begins with a highly recognizable, distinctive design. We have abandoned imitation and chosen a more demanding, yet far more meaningful path: to build a complete, coherent and emotionally compelling universe of value. For me, the greatest pride is seeing how our team has forged the abstract idea of an 'independent soul' into something that can be seen, felt and experienced. This is not an endpoint — it is another solid coordinate on our journey toward the stars. #EXEED #EXEEDDESIGN #Luxury #Tech #Ultimate

I spent 20 years in banking. Now I spend my days walking through factories, workshops and industrial estate and I absolutely love it! Back in 2025, my working life looked very different. These days, I’m meeting business owners who have spent 20, 30, sometimes 40 years building successful Australian businesses. Electrical contractors, manufacturers, smash repairers, air conditioning businesses and industrial services. The businesses most people drive past without giving a second thought. They’re not glamorous or trending on social media, but many have something far more valuable. Established customers, consistent cash flow and decades of trading history. What’s really interesting is the generational shift happening right now. Many baby boomer business owners are approaching retirement after spending decades building something valuable, but their children don’t necessarily want to take over. So what happens to these businesses? This is where I see an enormous opportunity, not just for investors but for everyday Australians who want to own a business without having to build one from scratch. Through WT Acquisitions and WT Investments, we’re spending our time meeting these owners, understanding their businesses and helping the next generation of buyers find opportunities. Of course, not every business is a good investment. That’s why understanding the financials, the risks and how dependent the business is on its owner matters so much. Sometimes the biggest opportunities aren’t in the businesses everyone is talking about. They’re in the businesses nobody is talking about. If you’ve spent 30 years building a business and your children don’t want to take over, what’s your succession plan? If you’re interested in acquiring an established cash-flowing business, let’s connect. www.wtacquisitions.com #BusinessAcquisitions #BusinessOwnership #SuccessionPlanning #Entrepreneurship

4.4%. That's how much the National Retail Federation expects U.S. retail sales to grow in 2026, reaching $5.6 trillion. That's encouraging. But the number I find interesting isn't necessarily the 4.4%. Its what businesses will have to navigate to get their share of it. Consumers are still spending, but not equally. Costs remain a concern. Labor conditions are changing. And uncertainty has become something businesses have learned to operate alongside rather than wait out. For small and midmarket businesses especially, growth in this environment isn't just about selling more. It's about knowing what to buy, where demand is changing, where your cash is tied up and when to adjust. That's one of the reasons I'm so curious about where inventory intelligence is heading. Better forecasting and visibility won't eliminate uncertainty. But they can help businesses make much better decisions. There is opportunity in that 4.4%. The question is who will be ready to capture it. For a practical place to start, Cin7's demand planning guide explains how to turn expected demand into a plan for what to stock and when to buy. Ask any pharmacist who's worked the January 1st opening shift and they won’t mention a thing about hangovers. They’ll tell you what the screen looks like: rejection, rejection, rejection. It looks like Groundhog Day, but it’s the calendar. Two to three out of every ten patients change benefits year over year. Our latest episode of The GTN Edge Podcast digs into how to get ready for the first day of 2027 where Stephen Hom and I hosted Dan Bench, RIS Rx's new VP of Commercial Solutions. We've seen too many $5,000 copay surprises mid-January that should've been zero with the right benefit applied. These avoidable surprises affect patient confidence, provider patience, call center capacity, and your bottom line. At enrollment, roughly 2-3 in 10 patients should be flagged as maximizer-impacted, and another 2-3 in 10 as accumulator-impacted. If your solution isn't holding those percentages, the gap isn't in the market, it's in your solution. On top of this, if a PBM shifts its algorithm and your platform needs weeks to catch up, that lag can cost millions. Average cost per claim should move the way your program adjustments say it should, not according to a PBM's workaround. The 2027 playbook, in three moves: 1. Segment before reverification — pre-tag your maximizer/accumulator patients in December so you're only catching the exceptions in January. 2. Close the FTE gap before it opens — re-verify your full patient population up front as the call surge from re-verifying only part of it costs more. 3. Reach out before they call you — turn a hundred adjudication attempts into a proactive outreach list. Market access, patient services, copay, and hub each hold a piece of the puzzle — and right now, the data between them is siloed. 2027 rewards the brands that connect those pieces before welcome season, not after. I’ve seen 8-figure brands fall apart almost overnight. Nearly all their money came from one channel. Usually it’s SEO or paid search. It works for years, so the brand keeps putting everything into it, and then one algorithm update or one jump in ad costs and most of the revenue is gone. Once a brand is making real money, stability starts to matter as much as growth. The organic channels also feed each other. SEO helps you show up in AI answers and activity on social helps your Google Business Profile. And your reviews and trust signals need to line up everywhere people look you up. If one channel pays most of your bills, I’d start there before we talk about growth. I’m writing the long version for next month’s Common Sense Conversion. Subscribe here: https://lnkd.in/dBQu6_BB

2 years ago, I had an objectively insane idea. Luckily I was surrounded by insane people. What if we created a digital content festival for storyarb that doesn’t suck ass? Abby Murray said “yes” in one minute. The team pulled it off in one month. The plan was simple. Give marketers the best free content education on the internet, and make it pay for itself through product drops and sponsors. First season: newsletters. Because if there’s one thing I know how to talk about too much, it’s newsletters. Under $1,000 spent. Over 1,500 senior marketers tuned in. 3 days, 3 speakers: Tyler Denk 🐝, Polina Pompliano, Matt McGarry. We crushed it. We promised we would have seasons. Then we never made another one. I’ll blame it on the fact that the season we REALLY wanted to do next was the hardest one to get right. So we spent two years nailing it for clients first. Now we’re finally running it back in the biggest way possible. CommaCon: Social Season is officially HERE!!! And we're beyond psyched to announce our headlining speaker’s from LinkedIn. Yes, that LinkedIn. The one you're reading this on. From November 2nd through 5th for just one hour a day, you’re finding yourself right back at school with four of the biggest brains in social. Here's the exact problem we're committed to solving during our 4-day LIVE, interactive sessions: - Your CEO knows they should be posting on LinkedIn. - They have, like, 9 minutes a week to do it. - What gets published sounds like a press release or product update. Executives are the most trusted voices their companies have. Still most of them are wasting it. I’m passing the baton to this season’s host Abby to drop our speakers over the next couple of weeks. A few hints: 1) Did I mention a voice from Linkedin is our headliner? 2) One of them looks a LOT like me 3) A VC, a bestselling author, and a founder of a global summit. And that’s just one of our four speakers. Register for free NOW below 👇

Yeah, most of the time, supply chain mapping is quite boring and simple. And I think many people looking for solutions in this space get blinded by shiny promises that, most of the time, fall apart without a solid, “boring” data foundation. To do any complex, AI-enabled SC analysis, you first have to answer simple questions with high confidence, traceability, and at scale. It all starts with a simple, "boring" data foundation that can tell you who your suppliers are, where they actually operate, who their suppliers are, and what other entities are linked to them (parent companies, joint ventures, country-level legal entities...). Then the other capabilities and sci-fi-looking scenarios are easy to solve. Need disaster scenario modeling? Add GDACS alerts, NASA FIRMS wildfire data, and WRI Aqueduct flood risk on top. Need alternative suppliers? Add bill-of-lading data, UN Comtrade trade flows, and IAF CertSearch certifications. Need geopolitical risk scoring? Add sanctions lists (OFAC, EU, UK), ACLED conflict data, and World Bank governance indicators on top.

Stuur me een DM. Dan zitten wij straks misschien met elkaar om tafel om jouw toekomst bij BRANDMANNEN te bespreken.

If you read nothing else: Omni will soon support 100% custom data viz. That means if you can describe it, our AI can build it, and it runs on the definitions in your semantic layer. I’ve spent over 20 years working on data visualization software. Data visualization sits at the intersection of computer science, design, and data analysis. Because chart libraries are usually consumed by highly opinionated viewers, building a single chart that satisfies everyone is already difficult. In BI, coupling chart building to a generic tool is even harder - your library must handle data shapes it hasn't seen before. To use a video game analogy: this isn't hard mode, it's nightmare mode. You can’t make everyone happy all the time, so eventually you need a custom data viz escape hatch. That’s exactly what we’re building. Want a bespoke version of classic cartesian charts? Now you can have it. Want to create a one-off data viz to tell a story for your report? Go for it. Want to replicate your CEO’s favorite Economist chart aesthetic? Yep, you can do that too. Of course, we’re coupling this to Blobby, our AI agent. We're also making it available through our MCP connectors so you can use AI to build whatever you want, wherever you want. All of this stays backed by our governed data model, ensuring the right data is visualized for just the right viewers.

One of the largest mobility platforms in the world recently signed with Veriff to launch across 20 countries. Within just a few months, their business strategy shifted and they decided to expand into 21 additional countries almost overnight. With the right partner, that transition was completely seamless. There was no hesitation, no lengthy technical re-engineering, and no question of "can your system actually support this?" The answer was simply: Of course we can. When you offer coverage for 12,500+ document types across global countries, territories, and niche jurisdictions, scaling into new markets becomes a plug-and-play decision. Your identity provider’s ability to support your international growth should be a given, not a roadmap request. These days anyone can check your data in under a minute, and it barely takes any effort. D&B data wasn't built for this era. Relying on it now is like expecting a '70s American V8 to match a plug-in hybrid on fuel economy. In client files I keep finding suppliers that closed months ago and are still active in the product. Usually next to: - parents that changed last year --> wrong group exposure - "manufacturers" that are basically resellers - registered in one country / operating in 4 --> wrong country risk - industry codes from 2015, so the wrong checks run Most of this is public long before it reaches the record: website, news, job posts, the same places your client checks. And you can't fix a D&B record yourself. Because of how their data is collected, sometimes they can’t either.
