Did you know that our barometric pressure #sensors are capable of detecting altitude changes of just 17.5 cm? That’s the pressure equivalent of a single butterfly's weight. 🤔🦋 The real magic happens when we integrate this technology into consumer electronics to drive innovation and next-gen user experiences. For example, smartphones can identify the precise floor level of a person inside a high-rise building, providing critical, life-saving data during emergencies. Meanwhile, fitness wearables can track exact stair counts and elevation changes during workouts. All enabled by our tiny but powerful #SensingSolutions. It’s always the people who make the difference. If I had to choose one takeaway from my recent business trips to Shanghai, Suzhou, China, and Milan, Italy, this would be it. Over the past two weeks, I had the honor to meet many of our local project and line leaders and experts in person and witness their drive, passion and personality in face-to-face conversations. What impressed me most was the incredible breadth of knowledge across our global teams at Bosch Sensortec GmbH built through years of diverse experiences and perspectives. Equally inspiring was the excitement and curiosity I saw when discussing how AI will shape the future of our projects and innovations. I’m really grateful to collaborate with such a talented and motivated global team. Thank you to everyone who shared their insights, ideas, and enthusiasm along the way. Now it's time for me to carry this energy and inspiration forward to the next big event ahead. #Leadership #ProjectManagement #GlobalCollaboration

This weekend I am playing around with the BMI088 and the new Arduino UNO Q! 🤖 (I would like a Ventuno but I have way too many SBc to justify a personal purchase). Got the accelerometer and gyroscope working, and now I'm playing with how the two brains on the UNO Q work together. The sensor data is collected by the microcontroller, passed to the Qualcomm Dragonwing QRB2210 running Linux, and then made available through ROS 2 Jazzy. Pretty cool to have a microcontroller and a Qualcomm processor working together on a single Arduino board! Next, I'd like to test a few more sensors, starting with the BMP581. It’s always fun to play with sensors and see how they could fit into some robots!
