You can spend millions on marketing and still lose to a voice note that says, “you need to try this.” That’s exactly what Duel Tech's new State of Brand Advocacy report gets into; why growth is increasingly shifting away from what brands say, and towards what people say about them. So, in the spirit of that, here are the brands, products and placesthat have earned their place in my group chats, voice notes and unsolicited recommendations. 1. Sunday Riley’s CEO Glow Oil - Sedge will vouch for how much I bang on about this 2. Hello Nancy’s “Lem” - IYKYK 🍋💨 3. Symprove - daily bloating be gone 4. Urban Massage - the sheer joy of an at-home massage is unmatched 5. Trinny London's The Elevator - stroke my décolleté and believe the hype, WOW 6. Tide - their customer service is second to none 7. Le Peche Mignon - great coffee in Islington 8. Spotify - forever grateful for a Thursday morning garage daylist 9. The Standard Hotel - sexy interiors, elite spicy margs The report breaks down why traditional growth models are stalling and how the brands pulling ahead are the ones designing for advocacy, not just attention. Yes you can buy reach but you can’t buy someone putting their reputation on the line to recommend you. You can see the full report here: https://lnkd.in/eDiFvW26

If you run an e-commerce store selling industrial equipment… And your Google Ads feel stuck no matter what you try — This is probably why. Most industrial equipment webshops are set up to chase their warmest buyers only. Contractors and buyers who already know your brand. Google keeps recycling them — and your revenue plateaus. That's exactly where this client was. Industrial equipment. B2B. US market. $77K/mo → $289K/mo in conversion value. ROAS: 2.59x → 5.07x. No extra budget. No new products. Just restructuring how Google finds new buyers. Watch how we did it 👇 https://lnkd.in/eAbSMM-2

"Just let Pmax handle it." That's what Google wants you to believe. Pmax optimizes. It finds conversions. It makes the dashboard look amazing. But here's what Pmax is actually optimizing for: The easiest conversions. And who's easiest to convert? Your returning customers. People who already know you. People who were going to buy anyway. Google doesn't care if you grow. It cares if it can show you a conversion. A conversion is a conversion to Google. New or returning — they get paid either way. So you spend more. ROAS looks great. But your business isn't growing. You're not acquiring new customers. You're recycling the ones you already have. Pmax is doing exactly what it's designed to do. The question is: is that what YOU need it to do? I break down why this happens and how to fix it here: https://lnkd.in/eAbSMM-2

I didn't expect this to blow up. Yesterday i shared Yalc.ai our GTM operating system (clay alternative) powered by dozens of AI agents and today my inbox is nuts. Handful of investment inquiries. People from some of the biggest GTM teams on the planet are forking it and deploying it on top of their own stack. Someone DM'd me saying he's never felt a stronger urge to throw away every tool he's been paying for after watching the demo. And honestly we're getting the most out of it ourselves. Let me give you some context. My company Earleads crossed $1M in ARR in november. We run top 1% GTM motions for B2B companies. And we wanted more. More depth in the intelligence, more precision in the enrichment, more automation... I care about this stuff on an obsessive level. Finding the perfect intersection between ai and humans to maximize outcome quality and performance. So we built what was missing. YALC started as a funny challenge, i wanted to go after Clay. Publicly. Open source and build something my team and i would use. But it turned out the market is feeling the same frustration. Earleads is still the business, still scaling, still the priority. But now we have the infrastructure underneath it. A foundation that makes everything we deliver sharper, faster, and more intelligent. Most teams are losing in the same spot right now. They spend $500k a year on reps and tools, and nobody has mapped where those hours actually go or which playbooks would automate the busywork. That's the first thing we fix. We embed for 30 days, map your motion, and show you the exact playbooks to run plus the pipeline and time you'd get back. If we can't show you a clear path to 10% saved and a higher close rate within 6 months, you get every cent back. If you want us to map yours, let's chat: https://lnkd.in/eAkYhmPq

I'm going live the 4th at 6PM CEST to show you how to run your entire GTM from Claude Code. Pipeline, outreach, qualification, enrichment, CRM. All from a terminal. Free 60-minute session. I'm opening my terminal on screen and building live campaigns with you from scratch. Everyone who attends gets the V2 repo of YALC to clone and run the same day. Quick refresher in case you haven't seen it. YALC is the open-source GTM OS i built that helps me run my outbound/inbound motions from Claude Code. Last time >560 people registered and only 100 could attend live. So i'm running it again. Now real quick on what's new in V2: 1) Way more stable 2) Cleaner onboarding flow 3) New skills baked in 4) Automated agents triggers Oh and there's something special waiting for whoever stays till the end. If you're still duct-taping your CRM, outreach tool, and spreadsheet together by hand, this one's for you.

Delivering the first batch of ORCA produced content today -- I'd say we're 70% of the way there particularly looking at improving consistency of compounded components and then speed to approval. There's 14 ads in this delivery, another 30 moving through final tweaks and all-in took a total of 6-8 hours working through product tweaks and passing a senior designer's process. Next week we're aiming for a single batch of 30-45 ads (3 concepts) to take 3-4 hours. The goal is to get to 30-45 mins from concept to approval to auto-upload. We're finding that we need meaningful guardrails on the limitless nature of this kind of production and are focused on nailing 3-5 types of videos that allow for the kind of structure, volume and diversity that content operations and the algorithm requires. Getting to 80 and 90% of the way "there" will take exponentially longer and we're looking for more brands to get "there" with.

It's not perfect but we reached this level of fidelity on a multi-shot production through a single prompt. The second message did not change the video and only layered on design edits. The system, ie. ORCA allowed us to swap locations, models and products and 10x. I don't know what we're getting closer too but getting here within a couple weeks of focus has been a lot fun.

We helped Gladia 7x their sales-accepted leads (SALs) in 4 months. 90% of them came from LLMs, not Google. Gladia sell audio infrastructure to developers. About as niche and technical an audience as it gets, which is the worry every SaaS company has: can an agency actually understand our product and write for a technical audience? (engineers are allergic in to marketing) Here's what we did: (1) We audited the whole picture before changing anything → technical health (indexation, crawlability, speed), fixed by our in-house AI/ML engineers → on-page and content gaps, mapped against what buyers ask → benchmarked Gladia against competitors across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google using our in-house tech We model each client's domain on their own first-party data (GSC, GA4, call transcripts) so we start from commercial priorities, not a generic best practice checklist. (2) We turned the diagnosis into a 90 day plan → mapped the pillars and clusters Gladia needed to own → sequenced it across 30, 60 and 90 days → ran it off a shared calendar with their in-house team so we didn't overlap Everything prioritised by impact. (3) We published content that competes on Google and LLMs This is where a niche audience worked in our favour: → narrow positioning means we can target the specific, long-tail prompts that map to how Gladia sells → we pulled real code snippets straight from their API docs, which gives the content natural information gain loved by Google and LLMs → we embedded real UGC from users that adds credibility and provides consensus on claims (LLMs need this to avoid hallucinations) → every piece structured on our CITABLE framework so a model can lift a clean answer and cite it → AI-assisted for scale, owned end to end by our editorial team with a tight feedback loop to maintain the high bar for content quality Information gain is your defence against every algo change coming. (4) We earned the off-page signals that shape AI answers → target Reddit threads and subreddits surfaced by our own AEO measurement → our FACTUAL framework keeps us feeding models the right signals so the company is being positioned well against competitors → grow share of voice on the subreddits Gladia's buyers read Four months in: 7x sales-accepted leads, 90% of them from LLMs. Brilliant team and we're only getting started! Right now AI search is the cheapest and easiest it will ever be. That edge has a shelf life 🙂 -- P.S. Want to get more customers from SEO/AEO? AdvisoryAI's demos and closed won revenue are up 100% YoY from SEO/AEO. We've been working with them over the last several months. I caught up with Ben who runs marketing at AdvisoryAI, a pre-Series A startup building AI tools for financial advisers. One of my fav pieces of feedback from Ben: "Other agencies inside our shared Slack channel mentioned they want their communication standard to be at the same level as Discovered Labs" When we took over from their previous SEO agency, a site move had seemingly cost them nearly all their organic traffic. They ranked for very few keywords and the majority of clicks came from people already searching for AdvisoryAI by name. Here's what we changed: (1) Fixed the foundation before anything else The site had real technical issues. We ran a site audit and shipped the fixes within a day or two which almost immediately had an impact. (2) Used proprietary AI visibility measurement to build the content roadmap Everyone's using AI visibility tracker atm (or trying to vibecode one over a weekend). The problem is that many of them rely on flawed measurement methods. With our approach, we were able to get hyper-targeted on the topics we went after, helping them increase share of voice by 244% for a key topic cluster in one month. Every piece of content managed E2E by our team of editors, structured using our CITABLE framework to ensure the best chance of performing across Google and LLMs. (3) Used Reddit to influence the sources AI draws from Most people judge Reddit's value by the citations visible inside ChatGPT. We intercepted ChatGPT's retrieval traffic and found Reddit occupied roughly 27% of its search slots, despite only appearing in a small % of visible citations. So we focused on the Reddit threads already shaping the commercial prompts that mattered to AdvisoryAI, with one of our placements becoming the most-cited Reddit source LLMs are drawing from. (4) Used data to find and go after competitor gaps By July, AdvisoryAI had overtaken one of their main competitors. We were able to do this by drilling down into the specific topic clusters and model-level performance, identifying where competitors were weak, and putting together a dedicated strategy for displacing them. Ben's own words: "You guys are able to take what everybody else refers to as a black box, which is LLM search results, and make it a white box." Now, we're about to go even deeper with original thought leadership so we can create distance :) // P.S. Want to get more customers from SEO/AEO? 📉 Positiv udvikling i dansk erhvervsliv.

I’ve been testing Astra, ChatGPT’s new model, and yes, it’s very hardworking and powerful, but be careful with the thinking level slider. I have noticed that it very quickly burns through my available credits 😅 And yes, I’m a ChatGPT Plus user. A good reminder that as AI models are become increasingly powerful, we also need to become smarter about how we use them. Not every task needs maximum reasoning power, and token consumption can add up surprisingly fast when a model keeps working on a complex task. My advice: challenge the models but use that extra power wisely. More powerful AI is great but using it efficiently is even better. #AI #ChatGPT #Astra

I've got a somewhat unusual relationship with DOJO AI: I'm a customer but also an investor. Honestly the first role is why the second one still holds up. As an angel investor, I backed DOJO because I believed that marketing teams need a system that connects brand, demand, and revenue instead of another disconnected dashboard. But conviction from the outside is easy. What's harder is using the product every day as PensionBee's CMO and having it actually earn its place in our stack. It has. Not because I'm invested in it working, but because it works https://lnkd.in/gsz4Trpc

I've said before that DOJO AI changed how our marketing team operates, but I don't think I've ever put a number on it. Before DOJO, pulling together our reporting was a manual slog — exporting spreadsheets, cross-checking numbers, navigating multiple platforms. Now it's 15x faster. Not a typo. 15x. That's not just a time-saving stat. It's hours back every week that used to go into building reports instead of acting on them. As a marketing leader at a fintech scaling as fast as Ozone API that's the difference between reacting to last month's numbers and making decisions in real time. It's still one of the tools I recommend most to other marketing leaders. If you want to find out more, DM me as I'm happy to share our learnings and check out this link: https://lnkd.in/du2eEkpb

AI is changing how people search and where they discover brands and here's the honest truth...many retailers still don’t realise how much visibility they’ve already lost! Others are already winning because years of solid SEO practice are finally paying off. ✨I REPEAT, years of solid SEO PRACTICE are finally paying off. ✨ This is what modern organic search looks like. Not just chasing rankings, but understanding how your products show up in the places customers are actually searching, whether that be search engines, social media, online communities, LLMs and more.
