Collapsing speed to action is something we're hyper focused on right now. The best growth teams leave as little on the table as possible. One of the loops I'm most excited about ORCA collapsing is how media spend is allocated for testing new creative and how long it should be tested for - it's such a frequent topic of discussion and we've made it broadly objective for people to address and layer onto. This view is pre-collapse and extrapolated to the next 6 months, this becomes capital that can be better invested on more impactful partnerships, new channel tests, resourcing to develop and execute new strategies.

It's not perfect but we reached this level of fidelity on a multi-shot production through a single prompt. The second message did not change the video and only layered on design edits. The system, ie. ORCA allowed us to swap locations, models and products and 10x. I don't know what we're getting closer too but getting here within a couple weeks of focus has been a lot fun.

Delivering the first batch of ORCA produced content today -- I'd say we're 70% of the way there particularly looking at improving consistency of compounded components and then speed to approval. There's 14 ads in this delivery, another 30 moving through final tweaks and all-in took a total of 6-8 hours working through product tweaks and passing a senior designer's process. Next week we're aiming for a single batch of 30-45 ads (3 concepts) to take 3-4 hours. The goal is to get to 30-45 mins from concept to approval to auto-upload. We're finding that we need meaningful guardrails on the limitless nature of this kind of production and are focused on nailing 3-5 types of videos that allow for the kind of structure, volume and diversity that content operations and the algorithm requires. Getting to 80 and 90% of the way "there" will take exponentially longer and we're looking for more brands to get "there" with.
- Text-onlyIf your only growth lever this year is "more diverse creative," you don't have a strategy. The highest growth clients I've ever seen, put a large focus on testing merchandising and promotional strategies. Yes, you need creative. But if your positioning is off, your creative can be hamstrung. My team loves talking about content. My favorite conversation is about unlocking growth economics.LINKEDIN · TEXT-ONLYRecorded 25 Oct 2026
- Text-onlyYou've already lost the month. Here's how it happened 👇 Week 1: 10% behind Week 2: Talk about week 1 Week 3: Changes start to make impact Week 4: 20% behind Week 5: "We need to make this up next month." It's already repeating next month, you just don't know it yet. I'd normally think this is about planning. It's not. It's tempo. The brands that win aren't smarter. They move faster. And ideally, smarter and faster. They don't wait to react. They see something, make a plan, check the data, trust the gut, and move. It's a daily discipline.LINKEDIN · TEXT-ONLYRecorded 25 Oct 2026
- Text-onlyContent, content, content—it's all we ever talk about. But what about my sweet spot? No doubt it's important and one of the highest leverage operations a brand can focus on. Every one is aware of it and every one bends over backwards to figure it out. We work with dozens of brands who have 3-5 creative production partners (internal, growth agency, creative-only agency, etc) and at the same time, hardly any of them have a consistent recipe. So if you have 75-600 ads per month that are majority video, diversified, persona specific, clean hooks—and really smart people running, analyzing and producing it—yet every one is playing the "we're smart but this is a numbers game" card… is that really an operation? It is of sorts. But no one has full control over it and even the most optimized systems can go months without a winner. While every one is studying the best brands' creative libraries, they're missing which promotional strategies are being tested. In my experience, parallel to creative production, this is equally the most important lever for brands to nail to scale. Think of promotional strategy testing like a 1-10 barometer: 👉 1 is standard MSRP with no discount 👉 The middle is Free Shipping, 15/30/50% off, GWP, Bundling, Tiered Offers, Buy More Save More, etc. 👉 10 is give it away for free You should never get to 10—if you do, there's a bigger problem. But if you start at 1 and over the course of a month test a level 3 (eg. 30% off), then the next month a level 5 (GWP, mid $ value off), you'll start to see more linear shifts in performance that unlock funnel metrics. Those metrics are: CPC, CVR, AOV, Month 1-3 Retention against ability to scale—and they'll all contribute to a Contribution Return that'll tell you if one test is better than the other. It takes a month max to run a test. 2 weeks if you're in a hurry—which I think we all always are. So while you're running around on fire for more content, ask yourself if your content operation is actually solid. There's likely another layer of promotional strategy testing that will be a bigger, more linear unlock for your content and business than talking more about content. Promotional strategies are my sweet spot. Give a holler if you want to speak about it!LINKEDIN · TEXT-ONLYRecorded 25 Oct 2026
