- Text-onlyContent, content, content—it's all we ever talk about. But what about my sweet spot? No doubt it's important and one of the highest leverage operations a brand can focus on. Every one is aware of it and every one bends over backwards to figure it out. We work with dozens of brands who have 3-5 creative production partners (internal, growth agency, creative-only agency, etc) and at the same time, hardly any of them have a consistent recipe. So if you have 75-600 ads per month that are majority video, diversified, persona specific, clean hooks—and really smart people running, analyzing and producing it—yet every one is playing the "we're smart but this is a numbers game" card… is that really an operation? It is of sorts. But no one has full control over it and even the most optimized systems can go months without a winner. While every one is studying the best brands' creative libraries, they're missing which promotional strategies are being tested. In my experience, parallel to creative production, this is equally the most important lever for brands to nail to scale. Think of promotional strategy testing like a 1-10 barometer: 👉 1 is standard MSRP with no discount 👉 The middle is Free Shipping, 15/30/50% off, GWP, Bundling, Tiered Offers, Buy More Save More, etc. 👉 10 is give it away for free You should never get to 10—if you do, there's a bigger problem. But if you start at 1 and over the course of a month test a level 3 (eg. 30% off), then the next month a level 5 (GWP, mid $ value off), you'll start to see more linear shifts in performance that unlock funnel metrics. Those metrics are: CPC, CVR, AOV, Month 1-3 Retention against ability to scale—and they'll all contribute to a Contribution Return that'll tell you if one test is better than the other. It takes a month max to run a test. 2 weeks if you're in a hurry—which I think we all always are. So while you're running around on fire for more content, ask yourself if your content operation is actually solid. There's likely another layer of promotional strategy testing that will be a bigger, more linear unlock for your content and business than talking more about content. Promotional strategies are my sweet spot. Give a holler if you want to speak about it!DTCoRecorded 25 Oct 2026

- Text-onlyYou've already lost the month. Here's how it happened 👇 Week 1: 10% behind Week 2: Talk about week 1 Week 3: Changes start to make impact Week 4: 20% behind Week 5: "We need to make this up next month." It's already repeating next month, you just don't know it yet. I'd normally think this is about planning. It's not. It's tempo. The brands that win aren't smarter. They move faster. And ideally, smarter and faster. They don't wait to react. They see something, make a plan, check the data, trust the gut, and move. It's a daily discipline.DTCoRecorded 25 Oct 2026

Someone just said "Meta's only weakness is pretty much its targeting. Once you can overcome it in any way, it can deliver results on par with LinkedIn" And its 100% true. Meta can even produce the same results at a wayy cheaper cost. Our CPM on Linkedin is $150, on Meta its $5. That means delivering an ad to someone on Meta is 30x cheaper. (Engagement vs Awareness objective) Running a $5000/mo budget on Meta equals to running a $150,000/mo budget on LinkedIn - let that sink in. (yes, the quality of the impression may be lower compared to linkedin but still - its wayyy cheaper) (im talking about building awareness and demand, but for you lead gen folks: Meta has a Leads campaign objective that integrates natively with Calendly - so you can use it to book leads into your calendar exactly like you'd normally do using lead forms on Linkedin.) Ok so back to the main topic - why does Metas ad targeting suck for b2b?? Its not because the algorithm is bad or Zuck doesnt know what hes doing. Its because it was designed for direct-to-consumer advertising, not business to business. Without third party tools, you cant narrow down your audience by job title, function, seniority, industry etc like you can with LinkedIn. You're limited to age, gender, location and interest topics. This works well for a consumer brand selling to broad masses but not so well for a business selling to a very specific persona at another business. Of course if you have the money to spend, you can let the big blue AI (Andromeda) find the right people within those loose demographic filters. But youll never be certain that a specific person at a specific company saw your ads. And when the results are bad, you wont know what caused them to be bad - the creative or the targeting. (most of the time its the targeting) But this can easily be solved with third party tools like I mentioned above. Some examples include: - ContactLevel - Clay Ads These tools allow you to turn any contact list into a targetable ad audience that you can use on Meta. Instead of hoping to reach the right people with your ads - you select the contacts that you want to deliver ads to, and show ads ONLY to them. You can build your perfect audience within these tools using the same filters that are available on Linkedin - job title, seniority, company, industry etc. And then target them on Meta. And you dont have to sWiTcH tO mEta aDs, not at all. You can run both Meta and Linkedin together and watch the blended CPM and CPA drop to less than half of what youre paying today. So if you haven't tried Meta ads yet, I'd seriously recommend to give it a try! TLDR: meta targeting is bad for b2b - fix the targeting and its good and cheap 🗿

“Our ICP is not on facebook” - are you sure about that?? Quick story time, I'll keep it short and sweet: In 2024, entering the B2B space, I came from a direct-to-consumer background. I had extensive experience with running ads on Meta and Google. So when my agency got its first B2B client, my first instinct was to slap a Meta pixel on their website and run Facebook ads. The clients reaction: facebook? our icp is not on facebook And my reaction to that: huh? Anyway, I convinced them to run Meta ads. and it FLOPPED. Complete fiasco - $3000 spend, no qualified leads, and random grandmas filling out their lead forms. 💀 A week later i tried it with another client, got one qualified lead and 3 shit ones. "Dag, I dont know if we can keep doing this" At this point i was convinced that ok, Meta doesn't make sense for B2B, and continued with Linkedin ads - costs were higher than Meta, but at least we were getting some results for the client. Fast forward to 4 months later - Jack Caspino sends me a cold email, asking me to help him market his new B2B ad targeting solution. (best random event in my life btw) I had tried running custom audiences on Meta in the past, but nothing like this. This new product would unlock LinkedIn-like targeting on Meta, Google and Reddit. I didn't want to continue running ads for chinese knockoff products on Shopify, so I agreed to help Jack and ContactLevel was born. I continued running ads for B2B clients using the new buggy duct taped targeting platform - and it worked, really well! We were building contact lists for customers in Apollo, uploading them to Meta through Contactlevel and booking real qualified leads for our clients. The same campaigns that previously flopped were now doing good, printing leads at ridiculously low cost ($15-50) 🚨 TURNS OUT THEIR ICP WAS ON FACEBOOK AFTER ALL - WE JUST DIDN'T HAVE THE RIGHT TARGETING TO REACH THEM. Today, ContactLevel has grown from a duct taped audience building tool to the go-to B2B advertising platform, used by top agencies like Hey Digital and B2Linked | LinkedIn Ads Performance Agency. Agencies and brands can now reach specific audiences on Meta, Google, Reddit, Inc., X, Microsoft and ChatGPT ads with super high accuracy. Im not saying you should switch ad platforms, but what i AM saying is that exploring other platforms is a good way to increase your reach and drop CPL. Because YOUR ICP IS ON THESE PLATFORMS. 🫡

Today, we're opening up our Employee Experience Operating System for early access! It's an AI builder created specifically for People and Comms teams. Just tell it the employee initiative you need, and it builds the experience + comms to deliver it. Here are a few examples: → Onboarding a new warehouse team? It sets up their hub in English and Spanish, safety training included, then writes 90 days of comms across the channels your frontline teams already use. → Coaching new managers? A portal with 1:1 prep, a pulse from their team, and a weekly nudge for 90 days from the day they're promoted. → Rolling out a new AI policy? A plain-English explainer with a quick quiz, sign-off tracking, and an agent that answers questions so IT doesn't have to. Any employee initiative is only one prompt away.

The board asks you, “So what did you get out of your investment in artificial intelligence?” ⠀ If you were the CIO in that meeting, how would you answer? ⠀ Support uses an agent to write answers for customers. Finance uses an app to help reconcile accounts. Operations uses an agent to identify shipping delays. ⠀ The teams say these tools are helping, but some agents were built outside of IT. And each team has a different definition of "success." ⠀ Since there's no way for the CIO to combine the local results of these initiatives to give a complete picture of the total cost/risk/value to the company, she'll have to say, "I believe we're getting value, but I don't know exactly how much." This accountability gap is something I've seen in Dataiku's Global AI Confessions Report: CIO Edition 2026. The report includes results from a Harris Poll survey of 685 global CIOs. In the survey, the CIOs confessed that: ⠀ - 84% say employees are creating AI agents and applications faster than IT can govern them. - 86% believe their compensation will be linked to measurable AI outcomes. - 76% believe their CIO position may be at risk if their company fails to generate measurable business benefits from AI by the end of 2027. - 88% believe their success with AI will affect their professional reputation or career. ⠀ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 For architecture teams, this starts with three things: - A named owner. - Clear access limits. - A clear way to measure success. When an agent goes into production, these three elements need to remain linked. ⠀ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 I would track the following for the support agent mentioned earlier: - The number of cases resolved correctly. - The amount of time it takes to review cases. - The cost per resolution of each case. Those numbers would help me decide whether to give the agent more responsibility. ⠀ 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗸𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 Business units should continue to create new apps while embedding ownership and performance measurement into that creation process. Dataiku Cobuild offers teams the opportunity to convert business objectives into project plans that can be reviewed and approved. ⠀ Dataiku Cobuild helps teams turn business goals into AI projects they can inspect and approve. ⠀ The CIO needs evidence she can explain: what improved, what it cost, and where to invest next. ⠀ You can download the full Global AI Confessions Report , CIO Edition 2026 here: https://lnkd.in/dy5S9hQ2 ⠀ If your board asked you what AI produced for your organization last year, what is the single number you would want to show them? Thanks to Dataiku for supporting this post.

AI can be right and still have no impact on the business. The real question is what happens after the recommendation: Did anyone act on it? If not, why? In my latest Forbes Technology Council article, I explore why accuracy alone isn’t enough, and why teams should measure whether recommendations are accepted, completed, and connected to outcomes. If you’re evaluating AI, ask: What happened after the system was right and have all the contexts? Read the article: https://lnkd.in/gupvPWBX

When people want to start a business I tell them, “Don’t do what I do.” Don't manage two relationships at once At Co.Lab we run the relationships of the students coming in and the mentors making it possible It gets complicated quickly And it’s not something you can run on goodwill and memory. It came to a point in the business when we realised this We needed to know who was active, who was on the bench, who had been trained on our latest curriculum, and who was ready for the next cohort. All at once. Relationship management wasn't just logistics, it was making people feel valued between the asks. Virtual dinners. Gift cards. Campaigns spotlighting our most active mentors. Making sure the first message they got from us wasn't "are you available next month?" All of that lived in Copper. Every mentor's history in one place - how many cohorts they'd supported, when they were last contacted, whether they needed a break or were ready to go again. When enrolment spiked and we needed mentors fast, we weren't scrambling. We knew exactly who to call and what to say. I started the process and handed it to another team member who ran it brilliantly. But the system meant anyone could pick it up without starting from scratch. Most people only reach out to their network when they need something. The right system makes it easy to show up before you need to. How do you manage your business relationships so no one gets left out? #CopperPartner #CopperCRM Copper

Today’s mentee could be tomorrow’s mentor. PatientPartner’s new partnership with Inspire creates more ways for that to happen. We’re bringing together two ways people find support: a private conversation with someone who’s been there, and a condition-specific community they can return to over time. Here’s what opens up: • Inspire members will have new opportunities to share their experience as mentors through PatientPartner. • PatientPartner mentors and mentees will gain access to Inspire communities for ongoing connection, resources and support. Inspire welcomes more than 14 million visitors annually and provides education across more than 3,000 health conditions. Pairing that community with personalized mentorship creates more ways for patients and caregivers to give and receive support. For our commercial and clinical trial partners, this means more ways to connect patients with firsthand perspective at important decisions and a community they can turn to over time. Where in the patient journey could this combination make the biggest difference? The best software doesn't force you to change how you work. It fits into how you already work. I learned that firsthand while helping build Copper as a Product Manager. Google Workspace was the first subscription we paid for at Co.Lab. Most business activity happened in Gmail, Docs, and Calendar. So when we eventually needed a CRM, using one built specifically for Google Workspace made sense. Copper works directly with the tools you already use every day, so you can manage relationships without constantly jumping between your CRM, Gmail and everything else. I didn't realize how much I'd appreciate that until I became a customer myself. Context switching adds up more than people think. Something happens with a lead → you see it in Gmail → you respond → you're right back to what you were doing. No new tabs and no new habits for the team to learn. It's one of the things I've come to believe since: Great software shouldn't create another workflow. It should make the one you already have better. #CopperPartner #CopperCRM

Working with Nordic agencies for over 5 years, I heard a lot of "No we don't do Marketplaces, they are just not popular here". The tune seems to be changing though, with Marketplaces starting to become a new growth area for marketing agencies across Europe, both in Spain, France and Italy where they are already huge, but also across Northern Europe. Throughout the Agency Breakfasts across Europe this year (8 and counting) there has been a common theme, and that is that the use of Marketplaces as a channel is becoming increasingly popular - especially since these channels act as another source of data that can feed the Agentic Search models and bring in new consumers 🛍️ Let us know over on Reddit, what role is Marketplaces playing in your Agency strategy now and for 2027, and how has this changed? One stolen password is all it takes. Over the last few months, we've seen cyber attacks disrupt some of the world's biggest organisations. I saw a post recently asking people to spot the difference between: .com .corn At first glance, I didn't notice it. That got me thinking about how much harder its becoming to spot genuine threats. AI is making phishing emails, fake login pages and social engineering attacks increasingly convincing, and the gap between what's real and what's fake is getting smaller. Every business relies on software and every employee relies on access. This makes every login a potential entry point. I've recently found myself paying more attention to how businesses manage access to critical systems and data. Conversations around cyber security increasingly come back to one thing: who has access to what? EazyStock supports Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing users to access the platform using their existing company credentials while reducing the number of passwords that need to be managed. Minkä kyberriskin yhtiön hallitus on valmis hyväksymään?
