Brightflag is known for its exceptional customer service, and with good reason. But that doesn't mean we always get it right. I'd never spoken with this customer before, but they were so impressed by Laura Capel that they were compelled to reach out. And I love it! At the same time, it's never been my intention to give the impression that Brightflag is flawless. On the contrary, I try to keep it as real as possible. We make our share of mistakes. What makes us different, at least in my opinion, is owning the mistakes and fixing them quickly. I'm deeply appreciative of all our customers: of the ones who've been thrilled from day one, but even more so of the ones who had a bump or two along the way. Thank you for sticking with us, for letting us learn from you, and for encouraging us when we're on the right track. #legalops #legaltech

𝗲-𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗱 Så er tasken pakket ud igen. 10 lokationer. Over 1.000 revisorer og bogholdere. They say the “All-you-can-eat era of AI” is over at Accenture — and I have thoughts on it. You might have seen 404 Media’s article (then picked up by Melissa Rosenthal at State of AI) that said the firm that once made AI use a condition of promotion is now capping central funding of Claude token spent at $29 a month per employee. Everything above that needs to be charged to a specific client project or team budget, meaning usage needs to be justifiable (and authorized). Now, you could shrug and say: “Not surprised. Seen it before.” ➡️ Uber burned through its 2026 AI coding budget by April and and set strict monthly per-tool caps. ➡️ Microsoft has given every division a token budget and shifted simpler workflows to cheaper default models. And it is indeed a rather sensible strategy, especially when some workers were reportedly racking up to $1,000 in token costs per month. But to me, the really interesting part of the story is this: If we focus on limiting token consumption alone, we’re blaming teams for high bills when we should be looking at how we build AI systems. As long as AI needs to do ‘reasoning gymnastics’ (e.g. read SOP handbooks, evaluate policy edge-cases, and “figure out” operational rules from scratch) to answer even a simple question like “Can we expedite Order #402 for Customer X?”, no token budget in this world will suffice. CIOs might say now that having a data mesh is the answer. But that still means AI is inferring business logic from static data tables rather than real process execution. Worse, the agent might STILL recommend the wrong action if it doesn’t understand all interdependencies. (Don’t get me started about what that looks like if several agents run a process and cross-check each other’s work, the $$$!) So to me, there’s only ONE valid solution (and a certain #MIT professor named Devavrat Shah might agree with me here 😉). If you want to know what that is, check below. 👇 [Image credit: State of AI]

Every engineering team that puts an AI agent on a design review runs into the same dead end eventually. First the pitch is speed. But then: An agent can find issues in a model faster than anyone opening the file by hand ever could. The requirement to sign off hasn't changed though: the engineer still has to explain why each finding is real. So you end up re-checking the agent's work by hand, or signing off on a list you can't actually verify. LLM maturity isn't the constraint here: the result just lacks a layer that persists what got checked. The gap only exists if "the AI reviewed it" means a verdict with nothing underneath: 20 issues, pass or fail, no reference to what was actually checked. No engineer should sign off on such a version, and most wouldn't. Agentic 3D's answer is to attach deterministic evidence to every finding: the requirement it's checking against, the geometry it points to, the measured value against the required one, all sitting right next to the conclusion. So a finding stops being something you trust blindly or redo from scratch, and turns into something you can check in the time it takes to read it. Finding an issue and proving it stop being the same step. We're building this now with a small group of engineering teams. If your team is stuck on exactly this tradeoff, we can set up an early-access environment on your own data and show you where the line actually sits. Take a look: https://lnkd.in/dnrcYsPQ

In the telecom boom, infrastructure companies built the pipes. Netflix and Amazon built on top of them. They took the prize. Same arc with AI: foundation models are becoming the pipes. Whoever owns the infrastructure rarely captures the most value. That goes to the companies that use it to change how people live and work. The next decade's winners will be the ones that use the AI models to rewire enterprise operations. That's the real value. That's what we're building at Celonis.

- Waterford.orgRecorded 30 Oct 2026
What will today's preschoolers need to thrive in a world that doesn't yet exist? As Waterford.org celebrates 50 years of impact in early learning, that is the question I have been thinking about most. Milestones like this naturally invite reflection. As I have considered what 50 years means, I am focused less on where we've been and more on the children who will shape the next 50 years. The world they are growing up in will look very different from the one many of us experienced. AI, emerging technologies, and changing workforce demands will transform how we learn, work, and connect at breakneck speeds. While it is impossible to predict exactly what that future will hold, one thing is clear: children will need more than knowledge. They will need strong foundational skills, confidence, adaptability, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. That is why I believe one of the most important questions in education today is not simply how we prepare children for kindergarten. It is how we prepare them for everything that comes after. We often talk about kindergarten readiness, and for good reason. A strong start matters. But kindergarten readiness is not the destination. It is the foundation. But the way we help children achieve that strong start will continue to evolve. The future of early learning won’t be defined by technology. Technology is a tool, not a solution. We must ground our work in the human connection between a child, educator, and a family member. Technology can support and enhance that connection, but it can never replace it. At the same time, we cannot eliminate technology from the equation. We must study and evaluate the pros and cons of technology, but if we ignore it, we will be doing this generation of children a disservice. We must effectively use innovation to strengthen the human connections that matter the most. New tools can help personalize learning, expand access, and support educators and caregivers in powerful ways. When I think about the next 50 years, I am optimistic. Not because of the technologies we will create, but because of the opportunities we will have to reach more children, support more families, and empower more educators than ever before. That is what makes this milestone meaningful to me. It is not simply a celebration of what we have accomplished over the last 50 years. It is a reminder that the most important work is still ahead of us. As we look toward the next 50 years, what do you see as the opportunities and challenges that we collectively must address so that children thrive in the next 50+ years? I would love to hear your perspective.

I turned 1 winning ad → 50 variations in minutes for BLACK FRIDAY. Last year was a wake-up call: → Weeks of briefs, casting and shoots → Editors stuck on resizes and subtitles → A handful of creatives, launched late, barely tested This year, I wanted two things: more creatives to test, and more time to test them. So I uploaded my winning ad to an AI creative tool. Same product. Same proven angle. But this time: → Different AI actors, ages and skin tones → New hooks → Multiple languages and formats 50 creatives, ready to launch. All built from an ad I already knew converted. Now I’m testing them on Meta and scaling the winners before BFCM hits. I’m offering FREE demos until the end of October. Don’t wait until November to start testing 🔥

Spec Driven Development and Agentic Migrations and Modernizations have been front-and-center topics for Catio over the past few weeks. We’ve heard them presented to us as the key outcomes and initiatives major enterprises are pursuing. We’ve presented them as the outcomes we’ve built Catio to fulfill, over the past few years. And we keep getting asked, understandably: how do you differentiate against Claude in delivering these? Can’t we simply stand up a harness and pursue them on our own? The truth is that Claude is an extremely powerful foundation model (as are several others), and the opportunities in harnesses, tool use, and reusable skills are driving exceptional results for many teams. What’s much, much further from the truth is that Spec Driven Development or an Agentic Migration and Modernization can be achieved by simply standing up a Claude harness. And the metrics really matter. Each of these 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 a major outcome, whether measured in dollars informed (8-9 figures for a multi-billion dollar enterprise) or in value created (even larger, once you count new feature-enabled revenue and market competitiveness). Each one comes down to calls: many small ones every day with Spec Driven Development, occasional large ones with Agentic Modernization and Migration. Whether those calls are well-informed or ill-informed, fast or slowed by endless re-work, is what separates 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 these outcomes from simply 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝘀𝗼, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁. Catio’s platform spawns an entire organization of agentic architecture teams for every call: reasoning over massive tech estates and business and operating context of multi-billion dollar companies through our Architecture Knowledge Base, using AI purpose-built for the highest-expertise architecture calls, on a system built to carry each call to its outcome. Our consulting and SI partners join to carry out the management and implementation through cut-over. And the major enterprises we’re honored to call our customers get to the well-informed, fast 8-9+ figure outcomes they envisioned in the first place. Our platform is absolutely powered by Anthropic's Claude, the landscape of frontier models, and their lower-cost alternatives. But it’s also absolutely beyond “can’t I just do this with Claude?” The details really matter when you’re looking to land these types of calls. The details, written out, in the first comment 👇

This just in from #GitHubUniverse : GitHub and Copilot are now one license. This is big because GH Copilot already was the #1 most used enterprise coding tool (90% of the Fortune 100), and this multiplies its reach bc everyone who has GitHub will now also get Copilot. But just having Copilot doesn't mean people will use it well. Most devs keep Copilot in assistant/IDE mode and haven't unlocked its fully agentic capabilities. Some will even use other agentic coding tools alongside GH Copilot not knowing Copilot offers those same features. We have worked w thousands of engineers globally to get them fluent in GH Copilot. This is what works: Assess each person to get a baseline on agentic fluency, put people into the right learning track, get hands on keyboards as fast as possible on real work (not training videos and lectures), and get deliberate about which model does which job, so usage turns into shipped work instead of just spend. If your whole eng team just got Copilot overnight, it's normal not to know what to do first. Reach out to turn Copilot into measurable engineering impact. andela.com/partners/github

Trading activity remains limited. Contributors report that buyers are still holding back, with expectations of further price declines keeping many out of the spot market. WPI90 has been more resilient, declining by 5.9% over the week. This has widened the price gap between WPC80 and WPI90 considerably. European gas broke €100/MWh today for the first time since 2022. My back-of-the-envelope maths puts the margin on a Henry Hub-indexed US LNG cargo delivered to Europe right now at just over $90 million. Some traders may be “concerned” as the FT suggests, but many will be seeing gigantic dollar signs, while Europe and other gas-dependent importers on the hydrocarbon rollercoaster shell out for yet more pricey LNG putting huge pressure on household bills. Another few euros on TTF and we’re through the insane $100 million profit per US origin cargo threshold.

I’ve been around credit markets long enough to remember the telecoms boom at the turn of the century. In fact, I was a TMT analyst back then, which perhaps says something about how long I’ve been doing this! We’ve seen periods of outsized debt issuance before. Telecoms, banks ahead of the 2008 financial crisis, energy, and more recently software. The historical evidence is difficult to ignore. Now we’re seeing another significant wave of borrowing to finance AI. And there are good reasons to believe this cycle is different. For one thing, the hyperscalers have substantial cash flows that many of the companies in previous cycles simply didn’t. But you have to look at what you’re actually lending against. Data-center-backed bonds, for example, can have amortization built in and relatively strong lease arrangements. That’s quite different from unsecured hyperscaler debt or chip financing, where the risks and protections aren’t necessarily the same. I’m particularly focused on construction risk in the near term. Delays can push out expected cash flows, even where the underlying investment ultimately performs as intended. Longer term, questions around chip depreciation could become more significant. Thank you to Bloomberg for having me at its Future of Fixed Income event to discuss how the AI investment cycle is changing credit markets, and what investors should be watching as borrowing grows. Four market-moving events. One week. Crypto is about to find out who’s actually prepared. I told a reporter this week that it’s a nervy stretch for crypto and I meant it. Just look at what’s lined up: • A Fed rate decision today. • Earnings reports from the world’s biggest tech companies. • Around $12 billion in Bitcoin options expiring on Friday. • The US midterm elections next Tuesday. Any one of these events can move markets. Having all four unfold within the same week creates an entirely different environment. Here’s what I keep coming back to: Weeks like this aren’t about predicting outcomes. Nobody knows whether Warsh will signal a December rate hike, how Big Tech earnings will turn out, or how $12 billion in expiring options will affect the market. What you can control is whether you’re positioned to respond effectively when volatility hits. Because this is exactly when the cracks start to show. When catalysts converge and liquidity becomes unpredictable, spreads widen, markets fragment, and the difference between a good fill and a bad one is no longer a rounding error. The trading desks that successfully navigate weeks like this aren’t necessarily the ones with the most accurate forecasts. They’re the ones with the infrastructure to execute efficiently through volatility. Calm markets hide who’s prepared. Weeks like this reveal it. That’s the reality we build for at CoinRoutes.

I’m very happy to share that I’ve joined Unframe as Senior Advisor to the CEO. Over the past year I’ve advised more than 20 companies on scaling AI, after years of running technology and data at large consumer goods companies. Most had plenty of use cases and pilots, but not enough impact in the P&L. That is why I’m so excited to be working with Unframe. Before I joined, I had a chance to look at Unframe closely from the outside. I was impressed by what it can do, and by a commercial model that ties its revenue to business outcomes. Unframe is an Applied AI Lab. Frontier labs push the boundary of what’s possible; applied labs close the distance between that boundary and results inside the business. Unframe’s experts learn the customer’s problem and domain first, then turn complex processes into production AI systems in weeks, on a governed platform that runs in the customer’s own environment. The company takes the delivery risk and gets paid once the solution works. Not surprisingly, Unframe is on a roll. It crossed $100M in total contract value in 12 months with 400% net revenue retention, and has raised $100M to date. I’m looking forward to working with Shay Levi and the Unframe team, including Shea Gegan and Sebastien Adjiman. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in interview with Lex Fridman - AI dubbed to English with ElevenLabs. Just landed back in London from India, coming off the incredible energy at AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. On the flight home, I rewatched part of this conversation from a year ago. A lot of what’s now becoming real was already visible in the questions and themes back then. And it feels especially fitting that it was AI dubbed to English already then, when the technology was just becoming available - thanks to amazing partnership with Lex Fridman! Many of the ideas we discussed at the summit have also been in motion for a long time - and now they’re only accelerating. In some ways it feels like homecoming for us at ElevenLabs because India is so voice-first. It was a pleasure to meet the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis last week at the AI Impact Summit. Greece is doing pioneering work - ambitious, tech-forward initiatives like gov gr are already making it much simpler for citizens to access the public services they need. It was great to talk about how responsibly deployed AI can build on that foundation, and about the future of AI in government, European innovation, and Greece’s trajectory - building on an impressive pace of progress over the past few years, with even more to come. And we already have some incredible team members from Greece - and it’s easy to see where that talent and ambition come from. Excited to be back in Greece in May to continue the conversation - and, of course, to enjoy a bit of the weather too!
