Four market-moving events. One week. Crypto is about to find out who’s actually prepared. I told a reporter this week that it’s a nervy stretch for crypto and I meant it. Just look at what’s lined up: • A Fed rate decision today. • Earnings reports from the world’s biggest tech companies. • Around $12 billion in Bitcoin options expiring on Friday. • The US midterm elections next Tuesday. Any one of these events can move markets. Having all four unfold within the same week creates an entirely different environment. Here’s what I keep coming back to: Weeks like this aren’t about predicting outcomes. Nobody knows whether Warsh will signal a December rate hike, how Big Tech earnings will turn out, or how $12 billion in expiring options will affect the market. What you can control is whether you’re positioned to respond effectively when volatility hits. Because this is exactly when the cracks start to show. When catalysts converge and liquidity becomes unpredictable, spreads widen, markets fragment, and the difference between a good fill and a bad one is no longer a rounding error. The trading desks that successfully navigate weeks like this aren’t necessarily the ones with the most accurate forecasts. They’re the ones with the infrastructure to execute efficiently through volatility. Calm markets hide who’s prepared. Weeks like this reveal it. That’s the reality we build for at CoinRoutes.

Singapore had everything: But one question kept coming up throughout the week of TOKEN2049 How do we turn all this innovation into something that actually works and adds an immense value for traders? For us, the biggest milestone was launching CRXTrade.com, an institutional prime brokerage powered by CoinRoutes. Institutions are already trading across crypto and traditional markets. Their infrastructure needs to catch up. CRXTrade.com brings market access, execution, collateral, custody and portfolio risk together in one brokerage relationship. More markets. Better execution. Less friction. That same focus carried into the discussions on stage: At CoinFerenceX, “Crypto’s Revenue Era” was about building businesses that actually make money. Technology matters, but so do customers, revenue and delivering something people need. At HSC Asset Management Conference, “Active Capital Beats Passive Liquidity” brought the conversation back to how capital is deployed and what makes liquidity useful to institutional investors. At Digital Asset Yield Summit & Hyperliquid Forum, “Why Hyperliquid Will Eat the World” opened up a discussion about where onchain markets go next and what institutions need to participate. Different panels. One common thread: better access is only part of the equation. Execution, capital efficiency and risk management have to work together. Thank you to CME Group for being part of our Singapore event, with over 300 people in attendance. Thank you to Tobias Bauer, Brent Fulfer and The Best Event team for bringing so many people together at the Presidential Suite at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore. An incredible setting, and a chance to spend more time with people beyond the conference floor. The best part was sharing the week with our CoinRoutes team from the US, Asia, London and Dubai. Proud of this crew and what we’re building together. Thank you to the publications that shared the CRX Trade launch, and to everyone who joined the conversations. It was lovely to meet and connect with you all: Jeffrey Tchui 徐家基, Garima Singh, Dmytro Matviiv 🇺🇦, Reza Bundy, Alenka, Josh Du, CFA Kenneth Lim, Animoca Brands, Hyperliquid panel, Ryan Watkins, Hanson Birringer, The Fintech Times, Claire Woffenden, The Block, Finextra, Theodora Lau, Crowdfund Insider, Tony Zerucha, Gate, Traders Union, CoinDesk, Jennifer Sanasie, Patricia Kowsmann, Suvashree Ghosh, Georgia Hanias, Diaan Engelbrecht, Reece Meyer, Mickey Hardy, Amay Patel Giovanni V. #TOKEN2049 #CoinRoutes #CRXTrade

WILL ROBOTS KILL US ALL? After meeting China’s latest humanoid robot…. I’m no longer sure the Terminator was science fiction. But apparently, Wall Street is more afraid of AI than I am. After last week’s brutal tech selloff, investors were bracing for another disaster. Instead, markets are showing signs of recovery. And I think the AI bears are missing something HUGE. The global economy generates roughly $66 TRILLION in labor income every year. Suddenly, trillions invested in AI and robotics don’t seem so crazy. After seeing Unitree Robotics robots firsthand, I’m convinced the hardware is getting there. The software still has a long way to go. But within five years, I believe we’ll see robots transforming hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, and countless other industries. Getting there will require massive investments in AI, software, and computing power. That’s why I believe the AI boom still has room to run. At CoinRoutes and CRXTrade.com, we’re helping clients trade opportunities across pre-IPO and publicly listed companies, crypto, futures, and commodities. Because you don’t have to predict which company will win the AI revolution to find opportunities trading it. As for this Unitree robot? I’m still not sure whether it wanted to shake my hand, steal my job, or kill me 😂 Which companies do YOU think will win the AI and robotics revolution? NVIDIA, Tesla, Unitree Robotics, or someone we haven’t heard of yet? #AI #Robotics #Investing #CoinRoutes #CRXTrade Not investment advice. China built the Great Wall to keep threats out. Today, the biggest threat to global markets might already be inside. And this week’s semiconductor crash is a perfect example. Standing on the Great Wall of China, I couldn’t help thinking about what it took to build one of humanity’s greatest engineering achievements. Over 2,000 years of history. Generations of workers. One brick at a time. In a way, it was the original blockchain. Thousands of interconnected sections forming one extraordinary defensive network. Fast forward to today. SK Hynix plunges 11%. Samsung drops nearly 10%. Markets across Asia tumble as fears about AI valuations and interest rates spread. Trillions of dollars in global capital depend on a remarkably concentrated technology ecosystem. We’ve built a more connected world. But have we built a safer one? Blockchain promises decentralization, transparency, and security. But none of those promises mean much without resilient infrastructure connecting liquidity, managing risk, and keeping markets functioning when volatility hits. At CoinRoutes and crxtrade.com that’s exactly what we’re building. Because the next financial empire won’t be built by whoever moves fastest during a bull market. It’ll be built by whoever can withstand the next invasion. #CoinRoutes #Blockchain #FinancialMarkets #RiskManagement

“We’re all here to make money.” That’s what I told the audience on my TOKEN2049 panel. Technology Innovation is great. But if you’re not helping your clients make money, what’s the point? L1s, L2s, wallets, DeFi, stablecoins, RWAs, tokenization, and the next big protocol. There’s no shortage of innovation in crypto. But at the end of the day, traders want access to more markets, better execution, and more opportunities to make money. That’s exactly why we built CoinRoutes, and why we’re taking it a step further with CRXTrade.com. Now our clients can trade crypto, stocks, futures, and other asset classes from one platform, powered by the same institutional-grade CoinRoutes algorithms used by professional traders around the world. More markets. Better execution. Less friction. But there’s something even better than making money: building a business with people you genuinely enjoy working with. Great spending time in Singapore with our CoinRoutes team from the USA, Asia, London, and Dubai. We’re building something special, and having this crew along for the ride makes it that much better. #TOKEN2049 #CoinRoutes #CRXTrade #Trading Michael Holstein Jennifer Shaughnessy Michelle Herman, MBA Mia Y. TradFi is going 24/7. So what happens when crypto loses its favorite competitive advantage? Just got off stage at the Digital Asset Yield Summit in Singapore for a panel appropriately titled “Why Hyperliquid Will Eat the World.” I think it can. The ability to trade crypto, global equities, oil, gold, and eventually almost any asset class on one always-on platform is incredibly powerful. That convergence is exactly what we’re building for with CRXTrade.com and CoinRoutes: giving traders one infrastructure stack to access crypto, futures, equities and emerging perpetual markets. But 24/7 itself isn’t the moat. Traditional markets are moving there too. The harder problem is certainty. Institutions don’t care about your L1, L2 or wallet architecture. They care about contract standards, clearing, margin rules, settlement, and whether a thin market on Sunday can liquidate them against an equity that hasn’t traded since Friday. Crypto has moved incredibly fast on technology. Now the market structure needs to catch up. Hyperliquid may eat the world. But the next trillion dollars comes when on-chain markets become boring enough for institutional risk committees to trust them. Jennifer Shaughnessy Michelle Herman, MBA
