We’ve made everything else tech- and data-driven — 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩 the thing that powers it all. I often talk about this in person, but not often enough here — and it’s at the heart of why we’re building Catio. Finance teams have DCF models to forecast and model investments and returns. Sales teams have CRMs to track and estimate pipelines and quotas. But when it comes to architecting the tech itself — the engines of modern enterprises — we still rely on gut feel and tribal knowledge. Drawings on whiteboards, and 5x5 cell scorecards on spreadsheets, guide decisions for the most complex and critical machinery in a company: the tech stack. That’s not sustainable. That's why we built Catio as the first AI Copilot for Tech Architecture — giving CTOs, architects, and developers a platform to generate, evaluate, and optimize their tech stacks using data and AI. It’s time to make architecture and tech planning, the next and most important data-driven frontier. 👉 Watch the short video to hear more

Today we’re introducing #Archie: an AI copilot designed specifically for architecture. Why does this matter? Because architecture is not just another Q&A domain. It’s multi-dimensional, interconnected, and deeply tied to business outcomes. Archie combines natural-language Q&A, embedded multi-agent expertise, and proactive optimization to provide context-aware, architecture-native guidance. This isn’t “AI for engineers” in the abstract. It’s a practical step toward real-time, architecture-specific decision support. Watch the video, read the full product release in the comment below, and schedule a demo with the team!

“This is the most coveted tool for my team right now.” 🚀 Thrilled to announce Archie (Beta)—our conversational architecture copilot—now live in the Catio console. Most AI tools are transformative in their generative power. But they stop at generic answers, solving problems that fit neatly in a prompt. Technology teams face something harder—the need for: • The depth of a brain surgeon to navigate complex systems • The context of an entire enterprise across tech domains, dependencies, and designs • The stakes of leadership, where ROI isn’t measured in lines of code but in how effectively teams channel effort into the right architectures This is why customers describe Archie as indispensable. It’s not a chatbot—it’s architectural expertise embedded into daily workflows, guiding: • Faster modernization • Mission-critical visibility • Strategic roadmapping • Democratized expertise across the entire development org This is more than a product launch. It’s the next chapter in our mission at Catio: making architecture a true strategic lever across the entire organization. Full release linked in the comments. Spec Driven Development and Agentic Migrations and Modernizations have been front-and-center topics for Catio over the past few weeks. We’ve heard them presented to us as the key outcomes and initiatives major enterprises are pursuing. We’ve presented them as the outcomes we’ve built Catio to fulfill, over the past few years. And we keep getting asked, understandably: how do you differentiate against Claude in delivering these? Can’t we simply stand up a harness and pursue them on our own? The truth is that Claude is an extremely powerful foundation model (as are several others), and the opportunities in harnesses, tool use, and reusable skills are driving exceptional results for many teams. What’s much, much further from the truth is that Spec Driven Development or an Agentic Migration and Modernization can be achieved by simply standing up a Claude harness. And the metrics really matter. Each of these 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 a major outcome, whether measured in dollars informed (8-9 figures for a multi-billion dollar enterprise) or in value created (even larger, once you count new feature-enabled revenue and market competitiveness). Each one comes down to calls: many small ones every day with Spec Driven Development, occasional large ones with Agentic Modernization and Migration. Whether those calls are well-informed or ill-informed, fast or slowed by endless re-work, is what separates 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 these outcomes from simply 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝘀𝗼, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁. Catio’s platform spawns an entire organization of agentic architecture teams for every call: reasoning over massive tech estates and business and operating context of multi-billion dollar companies through our Architecture Knowledge Base, using AI purpose-built for the highest-expertise architecture calls, on a system built to carry each call to its outcome. Our consulting and SI partners join to carry out the management and implementation through cut-over. And the major enterprises we’re honored to call our customers get to the well-informed, fast 8-9+ figure outcomes they envisioned in the first place. Our platform is absolutely powered by Anthropic's Claude, the landscape of frontier models, and their lower-cost alternatives. But it’s also absolutely beyond “can’t I just do this with Claude?” The details really matter when you’re looking to land these types of calls. The details, written out, in the first comment 👇

“A house of cards, at AI speed.” That’s the honest picture most large engineering orgs are facing today: the key modernization and optimization architecture calls take too long, while daily features ship fast on AI the architects can’t keep up with: AI that was never handed the architecture, the expertise, or the system to reason from. Catio is the Architecture IDE: one live model of your system that your people and our expert architecture AI can reason from. Plus a system of work that scales your architects’ expertise across your org. So you start modernizing and optimizing your architecture as fast as your code ships, and building what’s right, right from the start. From “a house of cards, at AI speed” to “building the right things, at AI speed”. Worth the 90 seconds.
