#accountancy #employerbranding

Ask ten people what causes an autoimmune flare. You will get ten different answers and most of them will be partly right. A flare behaves like a network. Poor sleep feeds fatigue, fatigue erodes adherence, missed doses fuel inflammation, and inflammation disrupts sleep. Mood sits in the loop too. About 1 in 3 people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) have anxiety symptoms, and in one cohort, anxiety in remission roughly doubled the risk of a later flare. Then add a delayed refill, a side effect, and the uncertainty of whether a symptom is worth a call to the doctor. The first weeks on a new therapy are the most fragile. The routine is not built yet and the benefit has not kicked in. This is where patient companions create value. They can be the one place where sleep, mood, doses, and refills meet between visits. Agentic AI can turn that view into action: noticing when sleep and mood drift together, checking in before a missed dose becomes a missed week, flagging a late refill, and bringing in a nurse when a symptom needs one. The value is already measurable. A 2025 Lancet Digital Health review linked digital tools to better adherence and fewer hospital visits, and patient programmes have more than doubled the odds of adherence and persistence. For pharma, the value compounds: stronger adherence and persistence, clinicians who see a trend line at the visit, and a way to see the whole system it has been asked to move for years.

For all 💩 on Influenced pipeline: Data from 7,466 deals, opened from 1.17 million (!) target accounts with LinkedIn ad impressions in the last 180 days, across 118 of our customers: Influenced pipeline as the attribution is not the problem. In fact - it can be a *much* better measure of influence than the 'last click' (which is also a measure of influenced pipeline 🙃 - just a different criterion!) But picking the right threshold is. When you say you retarget "Warm" accounts, how do you know they are warm? [P.S: Use ZenABM's FREE trial for 37 days get YOUR signals that correlate with pipeline & plan your ABM strategy for 2027: https://lnkd.in/dp-Ym6Wj Both ABM revenue attribution & signal-based outbound share the same problem: we pick "signals" to at random. We don't look at data first to come up with the combination of signal with statistically significant correlation with deal open rate. And when we look at the "lift" - how many times *higher* the deal open rate in the cohort with the signal was vs. the without it - we forget about other factors determining if the signal is a good "deal influence": Phi: a number from -1 to 1 showing the correlation between the signal and the deal. 1 = every signal company opens a deal and no other company does. 0 = no link. Under 0.1 = weak signal. Coverage: % of ALL deals that came from companies with the signal. 1.2%, so about 90 of 7,466 deals. High lift + low coverage = strong but rare signal. Significant at (companies): how many companies ONE account needs to target with ads in total (with and without the signal)so we can say with 95%+ confidence that the lift from the signal is not due to luck. 95% lift range: where the true lift probably sits (5.6–8.4). If the range does not include 1.0, the lift is *not* luck. That gives ⭐ (⛔ if below 1). So - among our customers - what LinkedIn signals were associated with a higher deal open rate? Top 5 by phi: 🟢 ABM stage Interested: Lift 3.3× / Phi 0.024 / Sig. at 6,515 🟢 200+ impressions + 10+ engagements + 3+ clicks: Lift 4.0× / Phi 0.023 / Sig. at 6,980 🟢 200+ impressions + 3+ engagements + 3+ clicks: Lift 3.2× / Phi 0.023 / Sig. at 7,288 🟢 1,000+ impressions: Lift 4.4× / Phi 0.022 / Sig. at 8,232 🟢 10+ engagements: Lift 3.3× / Phi 0.022 / Sig. at 7,927 Top 5 by lift: 🟢 Carousel 10+ impressions + Document click: Lift 13.9× / Phi 0.010 / Sig. at 36,107 🟢 TLA engagement + Document click: Lift 11.8× / Phi 0.011 / Sig. at 30,272 🟢 TLA click + Document click: Lift 11.7× / Phi 0.011 / Sig. at 30,454 🟢 Image click + Document click: Lift 10.6× / Phi 0.016 / Sig. at 15,595 🟢 TLA engagement + Carousel click: Lift 9.6× / Phi 0.008 / Sig. at 60,105 This is the kind of signals we will be surfacing to our customers automatically very soon btw 😎 so you don't have to sweat justifying your "influence threshold" to your boss/clients (thanks for the inspiring conversation on this Gonçalo Prates btw!)

[Learning in public:💥 Our Q4 ABM Strategy 🧘♀️- running ABM via LinkedIn Ads on a small budget + Conflicting Expert Advice] We’re typically impressed by large budgets & generating big pipelines here - but running ABM campaigns when you have six figures to spend per month is *easy*. You don’t have to sweat which ad formats you can afford to run. If you don’t have to sweat objectives or impression caps - if you waste some budget you don’t even notice. But designing an ABM campaign when you have a small budget is HARD. Every impression counts. You need to be really creative with ad formats & campaign objectives. And then you hear: “If you don’t have a large budget, you need to focus on a small account list”. BUT: “Only 5% of your audience is in the market; only 1% books a demo” 🤯 So is it impossible to generate *meaningful* pipeline results on LinkedIn with a small budget? I’m about to check. I spent days sweating ZenABM’s ABM Campaign strategy…& this is the structure I want to *test*. I will describe the *whole* strategy + how we use ZenABM for it + exact ads + workflows & impression cap logic in my newsletter on Thursday - but here’s the TL;DR: 🟢 First, I benchmarked the conversions & set goals: 65 demos in 3 months with $5k monthly spend, ~102,000 in pipeline at 6.8 x pipeline per $ spent; demos close at 26% rate so that x ~3000k ACV= + $51,000 ARR - and 3.4 x ROAS 🟢 Linkedin Ad Traffic --> demo rate: 1.21% . This could be improved with better LPs + follow up outreached by intent signal (captured from the COLD ads with ZenABM - try it free here: https://lnkd.in/dp-Ym6Wj). 🟢 deals close at a median of 30 ad impressions; 🟢 assuming 1% of demos from companies meaningfully reached (45 company impressions in cold & warm/90 days) = 6,500 companies in Q4. 🟢 34k companies and 110k members. Max 60% reach = ~ 66k members. 🟢 2 simple stages: COLD & WARM. BUT devil’s in the detail - strict impression caps + combinations of ad formats & objectives (Text / Document + Website visits; TLAs + BA) 🟢 Cold signals from 2 campaigns: Air Cover (very cheap impressions, which don’t count unless someone clicks - but they can generate brand awareness, intent signals & cheap clicks too!) + Meaningful Engagement (Docs + TLAs) 🟢 COLD --> WARM: 2+ clicks or 3+ engagements OR 18+ impressions in “Docs + TLAs” ONLY OR website engagement (with other exclusion criteria) + trial/demo without a deal - based on ZenABM “Interested” stage. 🟢 Companies in WARM: 0, 0, 5, 20, 90, 350, 900, 1840, 2900, 4300, 5700, 6500 / week. 🟢 projected spend currently 38% higher vs budget, but 1) air cover campaign won’t spend its full budget; 2) budget adjustment bs warm campaign pacing; 🟢 Metrics to watch: Cold Text: CPM ≤ $0.50 · eCPC ≤ $8.00 TLAs: CPM ≤ $34.00 · CPC to site ≤ $6.00 Documents: CPM ≤ $26.00 · CPC ≤ $10.00 🟢 Impression caps: 7 / 7D · 10 / 30D · 30 / 90D - adset level. I will be reporting on progress every week 🤓

Honestly, I'm still in awe of some of these numbers. In the past 12 months, we have worked with 17 medical associations. We took their conference recordings, created a unified library and some of the results were incredible: - From 1% of content watched to 83% of content watched (83x increase) - 31,000 engagement hours in year one from existing content - 9.7 out of 10 digital satisfaction from 246 surveyed physicians - $212k in NEW revenue in the first 3 months - 2x return on investment in just 4 months - $145,000 from the first digital industry sponsorship, with 2 more contracts lined up, all in the first 5 months All of this was achieved with existing conference recordings. (And the same staff size.) I'm biased, of course. But I'll say it out loud: every medical association should do this. Consolidate conference recordings into a Netflix-style library → launch in 90 days → let Evermed's AI provide personalized recommendations to drive engagement → use the 5-part monetization playbook to bring in new revenue. So here's my invitation to you. If you're a: - Medical association executive - Sitting on 100+ hours of valuable recorded content - That's currently underused and under-monetized Click below to request a consultation. It doesn't cost anything, and there's no pitching. You'll leave with an honest assessment of how this can work for your association. Link here → https://lnkd.in/eqF9VBbK

#LivingWorkplace

Is it just my feed, or does it seem like everyone is making software these days and sharing their creations here on LinkedIn? There's an impressive amount of experimentation going on. Over the past few months, I've built a presentation platform that my colleagues across Manyone now use daily. And the experience has brought back a feeling I haven't had since the late 1990s. It's also made me think about what happens when software becomes something we can shape ourselves, rather than simply adapt to. A few thoughts on rediscovering the joy of making things, and why software might never be quite the same again:

People get into consulting to work on something that aligns with their expertise and interests – something that they are truly passionate about. That inevitably also brings some mandatory metawork like finding suitable projects for themselves, keeping their CVs up to date, filling in their hours, and so on. Agileday was built people-first, to make all of that as smooth and convenient as possible. Today we're launching Agentic Agileday to automate all of that. https://lnkd.in/diRq2n8Z The agent updates your profile and CVs, based on the work you've already done. It helps you find the next best gig, and fill in those hours on your behalf. You review and approve every change before it's saved. These agents runs on the same ISO 27001-certified platform as the rest of Agileday, your data stays in your region, and the agent can only see and do what you're allowed to see and do yourself – allowing you to focus on what's important. What's the first chore you'd hand over? #AgenticAI #AgenticPSA #ProfessionalServices

Developers are becoming team leads. Their team is made of coding agents: a planner, an implementer, a reviewer, maybe a test agent running on another machine. The tools haven't caught up. Each agent still works as an isolated worker in its own session, with its own context, reporting only to the human who started it. So the developer does what any lead of a disconnected team ends up doing. They relay messages, re-explain decisions, and keep checking whether the parallel work is still heading to the same place. The industry spent years making each agent more capable, and it worked. The next gains come from how agents work together. A capable agent working alone is useful. A team of them that can't talk to each other is expensive.

Will AI replace engineers? I believe we're asking the wrong question. For decades, highly qualified engineers have spent much of their time on repetitive tasks, creating drawings, transferring data, checking details, and producing CAD documentation. What if AI could take over much of that work? Engineers could spend more time doing what truly requires their expertise: defining objectives, evaluating technical solutions, making decisions, and taking responsibility for the outcome. That's not less engineering. That's engineering with much greater leverage. And it's one of the fundamental ideas behind ENGINEERING INTELLIGENCE, the new category of software we're introducing at WSCAD with ELECTRIX OS. The future isn't about replacing engineers. It's about making their expertise scalable. I'm curious: How do you see AI changing the role of engineers over the next five years? #EngineeringIntelligence #AI #ElectricalEngineering #EngineeringLeadership #ELECTRIXOS

The first experience creator I ever met was my dad, Rob Simpson. He is a mountain guide, so I spent most of my childhood outdoors, rock climbing with him around the North East of England. His job was taking people somewhere they’d never been and bringing them home feeling inspired and like they had achieved something special. My experiences rock climbing as a kid have shaped who I am. Bouldering is how I spend a lot of my time outside of Easol. It’s taken me around the world, introduced me to incredible people, including some of my closest friends, and taught me a lot about myself. Most recently I went on a trip to Rocklands in South Africa which has become one of my favourite places on the planet. Looking back, I realised it wasn’t just climbing. Nearly every turning point in my life has started with an experience. Walking the Inca Trail in Peru as a teenager with my Dad opened my eyes to what was out there in the world. Running club nights in my twenties with Rough Hill is where I met Lisa and most of my closest friends and collaborators today. These days, wherever we go, we’re heading to gigs and seeking out new adventures and wellness experiences. Experiences have challenged me, inspired me, introduced me to pivotal people in my life shaped my personal values and the way I see the world. Behind each of those moments are people who put in the work and great deal of care to make it happen. My dad was one of them… and still is! Last year, he actually led some of Easol team on a climb in the Lake District. Seeing him take our team somewhere they’d never been for an experience they could share together and bring them home inspired, just as he did for me growing up, was a real full-circle moment! It’s this deep respect for experience creators that led me to become one myself, and why Lisa Simpson and I started Easol.

"Our success is intertwined." Teamwork is fundamental for an organization's success. At TransPerfect, we coach that a salesperson cannot be successful without the people behind the scenes who execute on projects—and the same is true vice versa. Everyone has a role to play, including those who manage our IT, our facilities, our finances, and our human resources. It may sound cliché, but it truly takes a village to succeed in business. While it seems like we're on different teams, at the highest level, our success is intertwined. Coaching this throughout the organization sets the stage for effective teamwork. #BeAGoodTeammateDay #EmployeeAppreciation #CompanyCulture
