Ok this is probably the most mind-blowing case of TLAs *smashing* on Linkedin I’ve ever seen - which made me totally reconsider our own ABM ad strategy & reprioritize demand gen plans: $0.15 cost per Landing Page click (! - 66 x cheaper than image ads!) and…$ 0.02 /engagement; … 169,571 impressions (CPM… $2.31) , 18,113 engagements and 2,669 clicks to LP (1.57% average CTR to landing page, 10.68% CTR)…all for only…$391 🤯 Audience? Senior SaaS executives (mainly CFOs, CEOs etc.), global audience (US + UK + DACH/Western EU). Several meetings booked. TLAs drove 83% of all website clicks for under 6% of the total ad spend - I told them to hold their horses until the data syncs and they can tell if the conversions were influenced by TLAs only, or have been influenced by image ads and carousels too…but when the company-level engagement results came in (from ZenABM) - the demos were all influenced by TLAs only. Needless to say, other ad formats (image & carousel ads) had to go. STORY TIME: 👇 The co-founder of Valueships (Krzysztof aka the “pricing guy” & the only person who actually closed a deal at my wedding except my husband) has been building amazing content & personal brand on Linkedin + conferences. But being the smartest guy in the room doesn’t scale - Kris had to sometimes hop between 3 countries in 2 days 😂 so I’ve been pushing them to try Linkedin ABM, and finally Valueships’ Head of Growth, Aleksandra, launched their ABM campaign - here’s how it did: Top 3 TLAs: 🥇 - 20.92% CTR, 4.69% eCTR (= clicks to landing page/ impressions) 1,394 clicks, $0.10 CLCP - “Millennials: 'skinny jeans are still cool!' (they're not); SaaS: 'seat-based pricing is still cool!' (it's not)” 🥈- 21.03% CTR”, 3.02% eCTR, 141 LP clicks, $0.02 CLCP; “In a single month, Amos Bar-Joseph from Swan AI (just raised $6M) paid Anthropic $51,217. If Antropic did seat-based pricing like most SaaS co's, how much would they be able to charge?" 🥉- 8.46 CTR, 2.29 eCTR, 463 LP clicks, $0.10 CLCP - “As I'm sadistically bashing software companies for pricing mistakes, I couldn't let it slip. Jenna Alburger did a great job in smashing Netflix, and I spin it for myself as well:” 👉 Full case study: https://lnkd.in/eiCSiPhh Key patterns for the top 3: - storytelling/humor hook (skinny jeans, real company example, Netflix teardown) - never direct product pitch - real companies with real numbers (Swan AI, Anthropic $51k, Netflix) Lessons? Do: ✅ real people, companies, products + real data/results ✅ Write in 1st person, admit mistakes ✅ Short punchy hook ≤2 lines ✅ Open with paradox/ specific number ✅ mention specific pain ✅ Deliver value before any CTA (in P.S./ soft offer (but DO put the link in) Don’t: ⛔ pitch slap, open with generic "We're excited to announce we’ve been featured in Gartner report” ⛔ Write in “brand voice” rather than *your* voice / 3rd person ⛔ no value, make it about your product/features

The last 2 weeks since I left my job to join my husband's startup have been nuts to say the least, but I honestly didn't expect *this* to happen. When we first started talking about ZenABM, my vision for the product was to allow Demand Gen folks to run their entire ABM campaigns with natural language, directly from Claude, based on best practices from top experts, without ever touching Campaign Manager. 1️⃣ I imagined the AI agent we would build would ask me about my goals, audit my previous Linkedin campaign performance, and then suggest the right campaign structure for me to hit my goals (number of ads, bidding strategy, bids and budgets) and then just go an implement it 2️⃣ then it would monitor the performance of my campaigns against my goals, and send me an actionable weekly report with a to-do list - that it would just go and do after getting my approval 3️⃣ it would also look at my top performing ads, and generate new ads based on what has resonated most with my audience I thought we would get there in a year or so...maybe even longer with the ads generation... But 1️⃣ & 2️⃣ is already live / in staging to be released soon (Try it for free for 37 days here - you won't want to go back! https://lnkd.in/dp-Ym6Wj) and I can't imagine going back to manually creating ads in Campaign Manager or updating the audiences manually across several adsets every time something changes - even though this is something I used to do literally a couple of weeks ago 😅 3️⃣ & is something I'm working on and that we'll have an MVP for our launch on the 28th of September 😈 lmk if you'd like to get your hands on it to test it before! Thank you Kas Szatylowicz ☀️and Valentin Dimitrov for the nudge to ship this faster btw 😅

"Our success is intertwined." Teamwork is fundamental for an organization's success. At TransPerfect, we coach that a salesperson cannot be successful without the people behind the scenes who execute on projects—and the same is true vice versa. Everyone has a role to play, including those who manage our IT, our facilities, our finances, and our human resources. It may sound cliché, but it truly takes a village to succeed in business. While it seems like we're on different teams, at the highest level, our success is intertwined. Coaching this throughout the organization sets the stage for effective teamwork. #BeAGoodTeammateDay #EmployeeAppreciation #CompanyCulture

Cotygodniowe spotkanie Enzeit Technik. Kolega handlowiec wnioskuje o zakup śrub w ocynku ogniowym. Myślę sobie: here we go again... Wracamy do mojego poprzedniego posta.

It took us three turns to get out of a parking ticket, no hacking required. We tried talking to an AI agent one of our municipalities deployed, to cancel a ticket we'd gotten. Nothing sophisticated about it, just a few turns of conversation and making something up, and the ticket was canceled. We tried the same thing on two other municipalities' agents and it worked just as easily both times. I'm sure these teams thought they'd tested their agents properly before deploying them. They probably ran a few datasets and called it done. But they never actually tested the agent the way a full system needs to be tested. That's one of the biggest gaps we keep running into. Organizations deploy these agents assuming they work, without ever really knowing that they do.

Was bedeutet ein Rebranding eigentlich im Customer Success? Total Chaos, wie auf meinem Shirt? Könnte man meinen. Ein neuer Name ändert daran also wenig. Wer und was dahintersteckt, schon eher. Mehr dazu hier 👉 https://epassi.de/ Welchen Benefit nutzt du wirklich regelmäßig und warum gerade den? 👇

How much fresh steam does your production process really need? In many industrial processes, evaporation is essential — from dairy and food ingredient production to chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing. But the vapour generated during evaporation still contains valuable energy. Instead of losing that heat, Mechanical Vapour Recompression (MVR) makes it possible to recover and reuse it within the process. By compressing vapour to increase its temperature, MVR can reduce the demand for fresh steam and improve thermal efficiency. Where could this create opportunities for industrial producers in Latvia and Lithuania? 🥛 Dairy processing and whey concentration 🌾 Starch, sugar and food ingredient production 🧪 Chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing ⚗️ Industrial evaporation, concentration and selected separation processes Every process is different. The real opportunity lies in identifying where existing production technology can be made more efficient through better heat integration. ▶️ Watch the video to see how MVR works. The voice-over in this video was generated using artificial intelligence. All visual footage is authentic, and no AI-generated visuals were used. Could evaporation be an opportunity to improve efficiency in your production process? #MVR #ProcessEfficiency #FoodIndustry #ChemicalIndustry

I remember my first forecast meeting. It's a horrible meeting. It's stressful. Nobody wants to explain why they failed to close the deal they promised to. Why they are not meeting quota. No other profession has this type of meeting. not marketing. not product. not engineering. Trust me I've been to all the other meetings. None come close. I also remember the top seller in that meeting. He was already at 200% of quota mid-quarter. He logged in with his camera off. He was the first to speak and he left the meeting after he finished talking (idk where, maybe he went golfing…). That's the life of being a seller. It's a rollercoaster. You're either at the top and answer to no one, or at the bottom, scared of losing your job. That was the moment I thought there must be a better way. Backdrop is the outcome of that moment. If you asked me the one thing I can't lead without, it's trust. It's the whole foundation. 🤝 But trust doesn't just appear because you want it to, and it isn't the same as hoping for the best. What makes it possible is clarity. Clear goals, clear priorities, from day one. I don't micromanage, but I'm clear about what matters and when it needs to happen. That clarity is what lets trust and accountability sit side by side. When everyone knows the goal, the team starts pushing for each other instead of waiting on each other. When the goal is shared, you move as one.

Years of research and development finally peaked last month with the launch of our first VIG offering 🪟 Bringing VELUX Vacuum Insulating Glazing (VIG) technology to market has taken a committed effort from people across VELUX, alongside external partners including Guardian Glass Europe & Guardian Glass North America We brought together expertise across the full value-chain from research, design and construction, operations, procurement, and testing and continued to reshape the work as we learned. Like many radical innovations, the project has been through ups-and-downs, paused and restarted along the way. But we have managed to push-through due to the relentless drive of people across many disciplines who kept exploring the potential of VIG. I am proud that we dare to rethink what window technology can be for the future. But a new technology only becomes innovation when it benefits people. With VIG technology, we have the potential to deliver a step-change on several window performance parameters while using fewer materials. The early feedback from our UK and Ireland launch has been incredibly encouraging... AND our VIG solution has already won its first award, taking home #BestExteriorProduct🏆 Thank you to everyone – colleagues and partners – who has helped bring this from an idea to the market.

Setting ambitious goals is one thing. Inspiring people to give their best to achieve them is another. As a business grows, leaders must do more than set targets and measure performance. They need to help people understand the purpose behind the work and how their contribution supports the organisation's wider vision. Without that clarity, people may focus on completing tasks rather than looking for ways to improve results. I believe strong leadership creates an environment where people understand the direction, take ownership of their responsibilities and feel motivated to contribute beyond expectations. I have been guilty of measuring the wrong metrics for Legal. Reporting on the number of contracts reviewed in a quarter doesn’t tell the business what we achieved. Contract count is activity, not impact. Whether it’s 176 small NDAs or 8 enterprise deals, a count alone misses what matters. We reported it because it was easy to count and somebody asked us for a number. Turnaround time is better, but there’s a trap. My team could hit under 2 hours on every review tomorrow by accepting every tracked change. Fast and wrong needs no lawyers, at least until the clean-up. It just increases risk and incentivises the wrong behaviour. AI gives us an opportunity to report differently and speak the language of the business, whilst managing risk. We can now see things we couldn’t before. Deviation from standard terms as a percentage. Days from request to signed agreement and where the time goes. The value of pipeline sitting with Legal. The share of work agents handle inside guardrails legal set, with no lawyer touching it. We are good at the work and bad at making the case for it. “We are overworked” is not an ask. I’ve done that one myself. “This much revenue is waiting on Legal, here is why and here is what unblocks it” gives the business something to act on. Getting there means pausing. Every quarter we run a retro on what we built, what moved along without us (with guardrails), what we had to tear up and what I’d do differently. It always feels like one more thing. It’s also what helps the next quarter look different from the last. On Tuesday 24 November I’ll take our CEO Ross McNairn through our quarterly review, live. What we’ll cover: ➡️ The metrics I report each quarter and why I’ve replaced the old ones ➡️ What we’ve actually built and the team structure with agents on it ➡️ Wins, the things I’d redo and what I’m building next ➡️ How to show the business what legal delivers and the risk you’re actually carrying Tuesday 24 November, 4pm GMT / 11am ET.

There’s one topic that usually gets overlooked that I’m looking forward to discussing at Workday Rising next month... I suspect a lot of the conversations there will be about sourcing and hiring great candidates using AI. The bit I’m more interested in is what happens after all that great work, but before your new hire starts. You've used fancy AI tools to assist in sourcing and selecting the right candidate. They've said yes. And the hiring manager is ready for them to start. Amazing. But then there's a lag. Everyone’s waiting on background checks to clear (and pulling a variation of the face below - yes I am shoehorning in my cameo as the frustrated HR Manager in Zinc's ad). Best case: A candidate and hiring manager goes from being excited to frustrated in the weeks leading up to their new role. Worst case: A counter-offer gets accepted, and it's straight back to the drawing board. All the hard work goes to waste. Either way, it's the part of the hiring process that makes everyone the most nervous. It's also being talked about the least. If you’re in Barcelona for Rising on 17-19 November, and you're interested in this kind of conversation, I'd love to speak. #WDAYRising #WDAYRisingEMEA #WorkdayRisingEMEA

Our customer survey found that 82% of planners require clear logic before they will trust an AI output. That result didn’t surprise me. If anything, it confirmed something that has been core to how we develop at AGR for a long time: transparency has to be built into the product, not added afterwards. It becomes even more important with AI. When we designed AI Sales History, we were asking planners to trust something quite complex: building a sales history for an item based on the behaviour of comparable items. We could simply have surfaced the result. Instead, we show how we got there. Planners can see which comparable items were selected, why they were selected, the weightings applied and how the resulting sales history was constructed. They can question the matches, adjust the inputs if they disagree, and every override is logged so the reasoning remains traceable. That matters because this isn’t just an interesting AI recommendation. The sales history feeds directly into things like safety stock, reorder points and opening order quantities. If a planner can’t understand where the numbers came from, it’s very difficult for them to confidently own the decisions that follow. For me, this is one of the most important principles as we bring more AI into inventory planning. Transparency isn’t a feature of our AI strategy. It’s folded into how we build the product. 👉 https://lnkd.in/eNsHgh2a

GitHub went down for a few hours today. Somewhere out there, a fleet of AI agents just went silent - because their "communication layer" was a comment thread on a pull request. I hear this constantly. We sit with developers - serious teams, real products, even coding agents in production - and ask how their agents actually work together. The answer, more often than you'd think: "Oh, that's easy. They leave each other comments on GitHub." Let that sit for a second. The autonomous agents you're trusting to write and ship your code are talking to each other through PR comments. It "works" - until GitHub goes dark for a few hours and every one of them goes silent with it. And even when it's up, you can't trace it, can't manage it, can't trust it. A comment thread was never a message bus for a team of agents. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝘅. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

Managers who are great leaders help their team members achieve more than they would on their own. This often means pushing people for peak performance—when you do this, a decision is put to your team: buy-in or check out. If you give someone even one reason to disrespect you, you've made your job infinitely harder. Leadership isn't about being liked—it's about being trusted and being respected. So set the standard, lead by example, and never give your team members a reason to doubt you. #NationalLeadershipDay #TransPerfect #Leadership #LeadByExample #HighPerformance #LeadershipDay
