Our partner recruitment runs on four steps. Only one of them still needs a human. For one more week. Ben J. and I built it (on Instantly.ai ofc). Here's the playbook. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 --> Instantly's SuperSearch finds prospects based on our criteria: founders, SDRs, agencies and growth operators. Outbound practitioners, GTM creators and lead-gen agencies --> Four pools: consultants, agencies, sales educators and B2B publishers --> Plus 5,800 domains already promoting competitors found using Ahrefs Why: anyone already promoting a competitor has proven they'll promote a tool like ours. That's the warmest list you'll ever build. 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 --> Hyper personalised outreach (Partnership Agent handles this) --> One opener per person, not per segment --> Trained to not sound like AI Why: partners are pitched constantly. A templated opener gets deleted. One that shows you know their work gets a reply. 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗱 --> The agent sends it. Nobody touches it Why: once the targeting and the writing are right, sending is the easiest part to hand over. 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 --> The Reply Agent drafts every reply --> For the first week, Ben reviews each one before it goes out --> Every edit teaches the agent how we talk to partners (we built in a secret ingredient here to speed up this process 👀) --> From week two, it runs fully automated Why: replies are where partnerships are won or lost. One week of review is what lets us hand them over with confidence. It works. 1 to 2% of the people we reach become partners at a minimum. Some weeks have been as high as 10%. So the next step isn't changing the system. It's giving it room. With 10 dedicated domains, these four steps reach about 18,000 new prospects a month. Same playbook. Recruitment at scale. GTM for Partnerships. One week of supervision. Then the whole engine runs itself.

Warranty registration is one of the most underutilized signals in omnichannel marketing. Think about what happens today: A shopper buys your water purifier at a retailer like Walmart. That sale never reaches your ad platforms. A few days later, she scans the QR code on the product to register her warranty. For most brands, that’s where the story ends. Warranty registered ✅ But there’s something much more valuable hiding in that interaction: She just raised her hand to identify herself, telling you who bought the product. That means a warranty registration becomes a verified purchase signal. With Brij Signal, that data is sent back to Meta, Google, and TikTok, connecting a retail purchase your ad platforms couldn’t see to an actual customer. Now two things happen: 1️⃣ More of your retail sales get counted, giving you a more complete picture of performance. 2️⃣ Over time, ad platforms optimize on total sales so targeting gets sharper and bidding gets more efficient as the algorithm learns. Instead of continuing to serve her ads for the water purifier sitting on her counter, you can suppress her from acquisition campaigns, cross-sell something relevant, and give the algorithms a better picture of who actually buys. The customer gets the warranty. The brand gets the relationship. And your ad platforms finally get a signal from a sale they otherwise never would have seen. That’s a pretty powerful scan. If you’re already collecting warranty registrations today, what happens to that data after someone hits submit? Shout out to the brands using Brij to turn warranty registration into a growth machine Turtlebox Audio, Million Dollar Baby Co. (Babyletto, Namesake, daVinci & Nursery Works), AeroPress, Inc., Skullcandy Inc., Lalo, quip., TUSHY - hellotushy.com Gozney BRUNT Workwear, Caraway Home, and many more!

One of the challenges of standard Distinctive Brand Asset research, which sometimes draws criticism, is that testing assets in isolation overlooks how distinctive assets appear in the real world. Take Smirnoff, for example. While their red arch scores admirably on its own, red in isolation does less so. However, testing it in context on the bottle reveals the true importance of these assets. The red arch accounts for over 55% of the distinctiveness contribution for the bottle. Furthermore, with another 17% driven by the colour red, and the lockup being the main source of that colour, its overall importance jumps well past 70%. Augmenting the testing of assets in isolation by triangulating asset performance with additional data points can really help round out DBA and packaging research, and ensure clarity on what DBAs you should elevate or even deprioritise across the range. How important is colour in driving distinctiveness? Colour, in isolation, is one asset that rarely ranks among the top-scoring elements. However, its importance as a supporting player is very much evident and highlighted when we pick apart its impact on logos as part of our meta-analysis on logo distinctiveness. Across a spectrum of logos: from those that are colourless (i.e. black) to those with subtle use of colour, and finally to those utilising a dominant brand colour, the stronger the use of colour, the more distinctive it generally is. We see uplifts of 19 points on average from black/grey to a subtle use of colour, and uplifts of 42 points when a dominant brand colour is used as part of the logo. Samsung is one example where this trend plays out at an individual level, with declines in scores mirroring its recent evolution from a solid block of colour through to the black text-only version used now.

Incredibly proud of this one 👇 eBay's Recommerce Report 2026, built using research from Bounce Insights, went live last week and is now in 70+ pieces of global media coverage across the US, UK, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and Austria, including an exclusive in USA Today. “As this report shows, more people are continuing to embrace recommerce for the value, selection, and economic opportunity it creates.” Jamie Iannone, eBay’s President & CEO. Huge congratulations to Carsen Rodgers and Claire Vidal for all of the incredible work behind the report and to the Bounce team for delivering the insights ❤️ We spoke to 10,500+ global consumers and 1,700+ eBay sellers to understand the role of recommerce and for the first time, the insights showed a meaningful shift. What was previously an occasional or discretionary way to shop is becoming an ingrained part of everyday purchasing decisions and budget management. It’s rare to be able to share the work we do with our incredible clients like eBay, so this one feels particularly special. Link to the Report: https://lnkd.in/e5kYJvSM

A physio I know has patients turning up with a treatment plan they got from ChatGPT. He is frustrated. Anyone in a service profession recognises the feeling. I think the situation is better than it looks. People still weigh experience and human judgement when they make a decision that matters. The ones who act on whatever an engine tells them, without question, were rarely going to respect the profession or become good clients. What we bring is context. An answer can be technically correct and still wrong for this person, in this situation, at this moment. Seeing that takes cases, not a corpus. So the move is to go where those conversations are happening now. That means publishing, on camera, answering the questions your buyers are actually asking. Video is harder to produce than written content. That is the whole reason it carries authority. Your experience is the asset. It is doing nothing sitting in your head.

Only 5% of a B2B market is in market at any given moment. That's the 95-5 rule, from Professor Dawes. The other 95% aren't ready to consider your offer yet. Most B2B marketing still chases the 5%. Search ads catch someone at the exact moment of intent. That's why the clicks cost $7, $10, $20 each, and why you might only reach a small share of the people searching. The trust work has to happen before that moment. I think about the car dealerships now sitting inside Westfield shopping centres. Most of us buy a car every five or six years. But every week we walk past those cars on the way to the supermarket. When the time comes to buy, that brand is already on the list. That's the job for B2B brands. Be in front of the 95% early, so you're shortlisted when they finally are in market.

I still see too many marketers making decisions based on their own taste instead of their audience's. Yesterday a client looked at one of my ads and said "I don't think I would ever click on this." And in my head I thought: cool, but you are approximately 60.000 kilometres away from your target audience…. Separating what you personally find appealing from what actually resonates with your ideal customer is something I still see people in marketing struggle with. And yes, human expertise and creative instinct 10000% matter because marketing is not an exact science. But gut feeling should never replace the data that is already sitting there waiting to be used. Your ad hooks, your creative performance, your CTRs, they are all telling you exactly what your audience responds to. Even when the answer is boring or when the winning creative is the one you personally found most boring in the review. So my mantra for my fellow creative marketing kings and queens today: guide more with data and less with preference. 🧘🏻♀️

This is a rough visualization of how I work when I'm strategizing for a client. It's never actually this tidy, though. However, one thing for me is very clear: the goal comes first, always. After that it's judgment: what matters for this particular client, what I can skip, what order it goes in. Two clients with the same goal still end up going down different roads, depending on their business, their history, what their team can realistically handle, and how we can make the difference for them. As always with flowcharts and templates, I always find them quite simplified and in need of your own sauce. Yet, it's a starting point (and hopefully, inspiration). Again, most of the time I'm mixing and matching, dropping boxes, doubling back halfway through. It's my favourite type of puzzle.

“𝗦𝗘𝗢 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗷𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻....”

Salesforce plans to acquire Braze, so congrats are in order to Bill Magnuson, Jonathan Hyman, Ed McDonnell and the entire Braze team. $5.7B is a serious number and they earned every penny of it. This deal confirms what we’ve known for a long time: customer engagement drives company growth. That’s the focus at Iterable. And Salesforce is making a nearly $6 billion bet on that opportunity. Marketers are accountable for results. Full stop. In turn, they need durability in the purchasing decisions made to drive those results. Iterable has one platform, one roadmap, and one team focused on driving growth. We work with the stack you already have. And our roadmap answers to our customers, not to some platform strategy that you didn’t intend to buy. We compete on speed, focus, innovation, and customer success. Case in point: our October release just went live (link in comments). It builds on everything we’ve shipped - so far - this year. And there’s lots more where that came from. No 47-slide integration strategy required. The next few months will be interesting to watch for our entire industry. Integration is a long march, and the customer is rarely the first priority while it's underway. We’ll spend those months relentlessly shipping products and delivering for our customers. To steal a quote from our CRO Teri Hatfield: Salesforce just put a giant spotlight on our market. And we get to show the world why Iterable deserves to win it. The market just got more interesting. We like it that way. Teri and I are currently in London with the Iterable EMEA team doing exactly that. LFG 🚀

An account doing 53% of last year's revenue in Q1 is not automatically a failing account. On Dedoles that quarter was the plan working. By Q4 the same account was at 102%. ROAS followed the same shape. Q1 at 73% of the previous year, Q4 at 121%. The context matters. One of the largest Slovak e-commerce projects, in restructuring, moving off TV advertising onto performance marketing with hard KPIs. CPC and CPM were up year on year across every platform. The brief was to match last year's revenue and spend less doing it. Q1 went on taking inefficient spend out. Revenue dropped, because that is what happens when you stop paying for the campaigns that were carrying the number. Q2 and Q3 rebuilt volume at a lower click price. October turned out to be the best month of the year. Revenue matched the previous year, ROAS came in 37% better. Anyone reviewing this account on a monthly cadence would have stopped it in March. Rule: a turnaround is shaped like a dip. Agree on the quarter you will be judged in before touching the first campaign, because the dip is where the decisions that produce Q4 get made. Have you had to defend a planned revenue drop to a board? How did that land? Read more: https://lnkd.in/df3Sie28

Maar ja: time flies when you're having fun, toch?

You can have a lot going on and still feel like nothing really moves. Ads are running somewhere. There’s some activity on LinkedIn. Sales is reaching out. On paper, it looks like things should work. But when you zoom out, it often feels disconnected. Each part is doing its thing, just not together. The companies that get consistent results are not the ones doing more. They are the ones where everything moves in the same direction, towards the same people, over time. Not broad audiences. Actual people they want to do business with. That’s what we’ve built at Hey Sid. A setup where everything is connected and running at the same time. Always On keeps you visible to the right people. Authority Builder builds familiarity and trust through content. Precision Connect expands your network and starts conversations with them. On their own, each part does something. Together, they reinforce each other. The same people see your ads, your content, and then hear from you. Not as separate touchpoints, but as something that feels connected. That’s when things start to click. You’re not starting from zero anymore. You’re already familiar. And when the timing is right, the conversation becomes easier. If you want to see how this could look for your setup, book a demo here https://lnkd.in/dZbzAJs2
- Hey SidSince 19 Oct 2026
Most B2B companies are still thinking in campaigns. You run something for a few weeks, maybe a month if it goes well. Then it slows down, budgets shift, focus moves somewhere else. A bit later you’re back at it again, trying to restart something that never really had the time to work in the first place. And in between those periods, you’re basically invisible. The problem is rarely that teams are not doing enough. It’s that the effort is not continuous. If your sales cycles are long, your marketing needs to run over time too. You can’t expect short bursts of activity to carry something that takes months or even years to close. What we’ve seen, both in our own growth and with customers, is that the companies that stay visible over time are the ones that win. Not because they are louder or more aggressive, but because they are there consistently in front of the right people. You start to recognize them. You see their name a few times. And when the need actually comes up, they are already top of mind. That’s really what we built at Hey Sid. An always on setup where you don’t have to think in campaigns, but instead make sure you’re continuously present in your market. We focus on getting you in front of the specific people you actually want to do business with, and keeping that visibility going over time without you having to manage it day to day. We take care of the targeting and distribution, and make sure you keep showing up. So when someone starts looking into your space, you’re not just another company reaching out. You’re already familiar. It’s a different way of thinking about marketing, but in practice it’s quite simple. You define who you want to reach, and we make sure you’re there, consistently. If you want to see how it works in practice, book a demo here: https://lnkd.in/dZbzAJs2
