A solar installer told me my leads were "probably sh*t" two minutes into our first call. I was giving him some background on what I've built. He cut me off. "I don't care about all of that. I bet you're the same as everyone else. The leads are probably sh*t anyway." I waited about 5 seconds. Then I told him that if that's how he talks to me, I can only imagine how it goes with a homeowner who's nervous about spending £8k+ on their roof. And that we probably weren't the right platform for him. Thanked him. Ended the call. People hear that and think I turned down money. I don't see it that way. How an installer treats me is the clearest read I'll ever get on how they'll treat the homeowner I send them. Someone combative and dismissive before they've even joined doesn't get patient and warm when there's a sale on the line. They get worse. I've put serious time, money and energy into building GoSolarToday and connecting with brilliant solar companies, all to curate a panel homeowners can actually trust. Trust is the whole business. Hand that to the wrong person once and it's gone. The leads were never the problem. They have a 50-70% survey booking rate. They're solid. I dodged a bullet with that one! He still messages me, by the way.

Today I got an email that made me smile. One of our solar partners reached out to let me know they’d completed their first installation from a homeowner who came through GoSolarToday. Contracts signed. Deposit paid. Installation booked. I’ve read that email a few times now. When you’re building something from scratch, you spend most of your time looking at what’s next. More traffic. More installers. More features. Bigger goals. You don’t always stop to appreciate moments like this. For me, this isn’t just one installation. It’s proof that a homeowner found a company they trusted, an installer won new business, and the platform did exactly what it was supposed to do. It’s a small milestone in the grand scheme of things, but it feels like an important one. Thanks to everyone who’s backed GoSolarToday so far. We’re only just getting started. 💚
- Electric TwinSince 7 Sept 2026
Everything we promise at Electric Twin depends on one thing: accuracy. Speed and scale are worth nothing if the answers are wrong. A wrong answer delivered in minutes is more dangerous than no answer at all, because teams act on it with confidence. So accuracy is the standard we build everything else on, and we test it in a way that leaves us nowhere to hide. Prof. Michael Muthukrishna, our scientific advisor, explains the method in the clip below. We take a real dataset and remove 10 to 20 per cent of the questions before we build the synthetic population. The model never sees them. Then we ask it those hidden questions and score its answers against what real people actually said. It predicts them or it fails, and we see exactly where. Just as important is what we do with the results. We share the method, the scores and the gaps with our clients, and we run the same test on their audience with their data, rather than pointing at a number from someone else's study. If a client wants to design the test themselves, better still. That transparency is really important to us. Our clients have to defend this technology to their own boards, and the strongest position we can put them in is being able to show exactly how it was tested and what it scored. Claims are cheap but evidence isn't.

Two years ago some of the News UK team called us the '𝗘𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗻'. This week their Head of Customer Insights put his name to a quote calling us an agile, flexible and complementary tool for answering business questions. Not an easy feat closing a gap like that! It all was possible because Chris Courtney-Smith at The Times went first and was willing to experiment. He took the internal heat, ran the work, and shared the results with the business. Now, two years later The Times has cut their research time from over two weeks to 90 seconds. Decisions can now get made in the room, rather than weeks later. On a new parenting channel, they saw retention increase by 7%, new visitors increased 3x and reader engagement doubled since implementing insights derived from Electric Twin. How did they get there? Step by step. The team ran one query, checked it against what they already knew, and expanded from there, gaining trust at each step. Every enterprise deal we've closed has followed a similar process... Often the hardest part of moving a business forward is being the person that decides to take the plunge, standing in front of colleagues, defending something unproven and convincing colleagues who've built their careers on a method, asking them to try a new one. Chris did that and last week presented the results at ESOMAR with our VP of Partnerships Leanne Tomasevic.

A transformação é top-down.

We’ve never produced something at this scale before. And the timing couldn’t be more important. On March 11th, Building Brand Advocacy and Duel Tech are launching The State of Brand Advocacy Report 2026. The most definitive, data-backed perspective on how growth actually works today. Growth used to be something you could buy, brief, and schedule. Now it lives in people, in the customers, creators and employees shaping decisions long before your campaign shows up. The brands outpacing their category are not just optimising channels, they are building systems that activate humans. This report combines proprietary performance data, Industry insight leader insights, the collective insight of the leaders we’ve interviewed and worked with and external industry research. The report unpacks: - Why marketing and growth feels harder and exactly what changed - Why Advocacy isn’t a tactic, but a revenue system - Where your brand really sits on the Advocacy maturity curve - The Advocacy Trends Shaping 2026 - What the highest-performing brands are doing differently Plus the economic logic behind why Advocacy scales differently, what today’s CMOs must build to stay ahead and how to turn the influence you already have into measurable growth. It’s strategic and evidence-led. Get it before your competitors do 😉 Waitlist link in the comments or comment Report and I will send you the link directly! #BrandAdvocacy #BuildingBrandAdvocacy #TheStateofBrandAdvcoacy

You can spend millions on marketing and still lose to a voice note that says, “you need to try this.” That’s exactly what Duel Tech's new State of Brand Advocacy report gets into; why growth is increasingly shifting away from what brands say, and towards what people say about them. So, in the spirit of that, here are the brands, products and placesthat have earned their place in my group chats, voice notes and unsolicited recommendations. 1. Sunday Riley’s CEO Glow Oil - Sedge will vouch for how much I bang on about this 2. Hello Nancy’s “Lem” - IYKYK 🍋💨 3. Symprove - daily bloating be gone 4. Urban Massage - the sheer joy of an at-home massage is unmatched 5. Trinny London's The Elevator - stroke my décolleté and believe the hype, WOW 6. Tide - their customer service is second to none 7. Le Peche Mignon - great coffee in Islington 8. Spotify - forever grateful for a Thursday morning garage daylist 9. The Standard Hotel - sexy interiors, elite spicy margs The report breaks down why traditional growth models are stalling and how the brands pulling ahead are the ones designing for advocacy, not just attention. Yes you can buy reach but you can’t buy someone putting their reputation on the line to recommend you. You can see the full report here: https://lnkd.in/eDiFvW26

If you run an e-commerce store selling kitchen appliances… And your Google Ads feel stuck no matter what you try — This is probably why. Most appliance brands are not set up to scale profitably. $491K/mo → $829K/mo in conversion value. ROAS: 4.36x → 5.21x. Fix: restructuring how Google finds new buyers. Watch how we did it 👇 https://lnkd.in/eAbSMM-2
- GrowMyAds.comSince 27 Mar 2026
Scaling e-commerce with Google Ads is f*cking easy. Here's the first principle most people miss: The only way to grow an e-commerce business is to acquire new customers. That's it. That's the whole game. Not recycle existing ones. Not remarket to people who already bought. Not let Google take credit for sales that were going to happen anyway. Acquire. New. Customers. Once you accept that, everything else becomes simple math. You need to know three things: 1. Where does the first click come from? 2. What does it cost to acquire a new customer? 3. How much can you afford to pay based on your LTV? That's it. Most e-commerce brands have no idea where their first clicks come from. They look at ROAS in Google Ads and think they're winning. Meanwhile, 70% of their "conversions" are repeat customers. They're not growing. They're recycling. And they wonder why they can't scale. Here's the fix: Structure your account so you control where first clicks happen. Track new customers separately from returning customers. Know your real cost to acquire - not the bs Google tells you. Then you know exactly how far you can push. No guessing. No hoping. Just math. Most agencies won't tell you this because they don't track it. They just show you pretty ROAS numbers and collect their fee. I made a training that breaks down exactly how we structure accounts, track new customer acquisition, and scale e-commerce brands past the plateau. No fluff. No theory. Just the system. https://lnkd.in/eAbSMM-2

When i decided to rebuild Clay in 30 days i thought maybe 20 or 30 people would care... In total more than 2,000 people asked to access YALC. The closing post alone got 630 people requesting access and i gained 600 followers in 24 hours. People from Clay themselves commented... This is insane. And i think i need to break this down properly so ALL of you can use it at 100% of its capacity so i decided to do something about it. On April 16 at 18:30 CEST i'm doing a live onboarding session. Opening my terminal, showing the full system, and explaining the thought process behind it: 1- How YALC finds and qualifies leads. 2- Hom the outreach writes and sends itself. 3- How the intelligence agent compounds from every campaign. 4- How the whole thing runs from a terminal. Proving you can run your entire Go to market from claude code. If you already requested access you already got the link (check your comment on my previous post). If you missed the original post and want in, comment "GTM" below and i'll send you the registration link. (We need to be connected first). I did it. I open sourced a Clay alternative. Yesterday i live onboarded hundreds of people to what i consider to be the state of the art GTM operating system. I don't say that because i built it. I say that because i use it every single day to run my own go to market motion and i wouldn't accept less than the best. And 100s of people think the same. They all tried to join the session yesterday but google meet said no. My inbox blew up with messages from people who couldn't get in, asking if there was a recording, asking if they missed their shot. You didn't miss anything. I compiled everything into one resource: 1) The open source repo on GitHub 2) The full recording of yesterday's session 3) Access to a private GTM community (free) The recording alone walks you through how i prospect, enrich, qualify, and launch campaigns from a single chat interface. That's the whole GTM motion. In one place. With your own data, your own APIs, your own keys. Don't know about you but i genuinely think this is going to set the standard for how GTM gets done from now on. Get the ressource here: https://taap.it/1aGsEVG If you want us to deploy it and upskill your team on AI-native GTM Engineering, let's chat: https://taap.it/7bQqu8b Pps: For those who were with us what did you think about Yalc.ai?

When discussing distinctive asset performance, such as packaging or ad style, it is often overlooked what is actually driving that success. Which variables matter most? What is the individual contribution of each? And what isn't contributing at all? We answer this for clients through a mix of Recessive Isolation and regression modelling, helping us determine the contribution, and therefore the importance, of individual assets. Take Tabasco, for example. The brand has five main variables contributing to its packaging distinctiveness, but our modelling reveals just three real drivers: the diamond label, the bottle colour, and the green neck sleeve. While it’s clear the diamond label is the ultimate hero asset, it’s also important to have clarity on when other assets are required (or indeed dropped, to allow for navigation codes and functional cues of the category to come to the fore). This kind of data helps inform future range extensions, portfolio design, and how other assets can or should be used. It is important that a brand's asset hierarchy is identified and clear to all teams, ensuring a consistent design system. This prevents smaller extensions from failing to build the mother brand's equity and protects key DBAs from being diluted across the range. Read more in the link below.

KI-Sichtbarkeit: Ist das überhaupt messbar? Eine Kundin hat mich das gestern gefragt. Kurze Antwort: Ein bisschen. Und das erinnert mich an Folgendes: Als Unternehmen früher Anzeigen in Fachzeitschriften schalteten, hieß es: „Auflage 100.000, zwei Leser pro Heft, also 200.000 Reichweite.” Hat jemand die Anzeige gesehen? Keine Ahnung.

Schritt 1: Denkt kurz an euer Angebot. Kinderfahrräder, Kaffeeautomaten, Kugelhähne, Siebmaschinen, Steuerberatung, was auch immer ihr verkauft. Schritt 2: Öffnet ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude oder Google AI und fragt: „Wer bietet [euer Angebot] in Deutschland an?" Schritt 3: Schaut, welche Namen kommen. Link w komentarzu.
