Concorda? Comenta aqui visão sobre o tema ↴

The most disrespectful thing about LinkedIn ads: The cost. The trauma from having to explain 8 clicks from $600 in spend sends SHIVERS down my spine. If you've given LinkedIn any money, then you know: - Expensive traffic - Shaky attribution - And still the best place to reach B2B buyers 😭 WHY, GOD, WHY? But seriously - have we talked about WHY this happens? Well, I was today years old when I learned that LinkedIn optimizes to win the *most* auctions, even at the detriment of your budget. And the solution is simple (you've probably heard many a paid guru tell you): Manual bidding. *GASP* Manual bidding??? In THIS economy??? You're probably like "Girl, please, I barely have time to eat lunch with my 1.5 team members, let alone babysit campaigns." I'm aware. But there's a better way. *Alexa, play "Hero" by Martech Carey* Vector 👻's Bid Agent. It’s a new feature that AUTOMATES manual bidding on LinkedIn (I know, it sounds like an oxymoron, but trust me). How it works: - Works as a predictive optimization engine - Adjusts budgets dynamically - Replaces Max Delivery with Manual Bidding - Automates bid adjustments up to every 15 minutes But there's a catch! It works best in the *consideration and conversion* phases of buying. Which is exactly where my favorite landing pages show up. The ones I talk about ALL the time. The ones designed to help buyers: - Do their research effectively - Justify their decisions internally - Create a solid business case for your product If you're investing in those touchpoints, then you can't afford to send overpriced, low-efficiency traffic from your ads. Check it out below. https://lnkd.in/g_KUUrw5 #VectorPartner

I currently manage 454 Linkedin ads campaigns No joke, 454 campaigns. And outside of some very specific use cases, I rarely use maximum delivery (As you shouldn’t) It's all manual bidding. All of it. I hate it so much, but that's what needs to happen so costs don’t get out of control and performance doesn’t flop I hate it, I spend way too much time on it but it is a must for Linkedin ads performance. Luckily, all I do is Linkedin ads An in-house marketer or someone running paid media across multiple channels, you don’t have time to manage every campaign Having audited 1,000+ accounts over the years, that’s exactly what is happening 😬 So when I heard about Vector's new bid agent, I had to see it for myself. It’s a new feature from Vector 👻 that automates manual bidding on LinkedIn. It works by: 👉Replacing Max Delivery with Manual Bidding….This alone saves you unfathomable amounts of money 👉Automates bid adjustments up to every 15 minutes 👉Adjusts budgets dynamically on a weekly pacing model…Don’t get me started on budget pacing 👉Runs a 3-day baseline period before activating optimization Most importantly, with the goal of maximizing outcomes per dollar (not just to minimize spend). And the results they’re seeing so far speak for themselves. It is definitely worth checking out —> https://lnkd.in/gmhm3J45 No brainer for anyone who wants to save money on LinkedIn ads while getting better results and/or save time (Which should be everyone running Linkedin ads 😁) #VectorPartner

I don’t know Databox or Peter Caputa personally. I think we swapped emails years ago when Peter was still at HubSpot. He’s always come across as a nice, smart, genuine, transparent person. So I’ve followed him on LinkedIn ever since. Over the past year, I’ve seen various posts from Peter about their SEO + content performance issues. Then, a few weeks ago, I saw yet-another message about how “business blogging is dead.” So I wanted to dig deeper. From my view, this is an emotional reaction to a difficult problem that requires sober analysis other than “throwing the baby out with the bathwater.” And I’ll go to lengths here to show why, highlighting my belief that the biggest problem sabotaging their performance is strategy, not tactics. A few caveats: - This is meant for information & education purposes. These problems are depressingly-common. - I am not attempting to throw shade at all. I’m trying to help (even if some aspects are triggering). - I want to highlight the systematic and process-driven issues vs. the person or brand or product or writer or anything else. - I do not have any sort of inside info whatsoever, so I’m probably neglecting or am naive about key info that I shouldn’t be. AND, they’re also doing a lot of stuff really well overall. So again: no shade whatsoever. Hopefully it’s received in that vein. Or maybe I'll get lucky and Peter won’t see this? Anyway, here goes.

Some things are obvious… But others require you to dig a little deeper 🔍 Since joining FleishmanHillard UK, I have seen just how the Digital and TRUE Global Intelligence teams take our big questions and truly investigate the answers. ⚡️We are all aware of audience fragmentation. Working in digital makes it hard to avoid the reality that people aren’t using social media in the same way they once were… …what is harder to pinpoint is *why*. ❓ Our new report, 'The Era of Intentional Fragmentation', looks into just that – across 4 key groups: healthcare professionals, IT decision-makers, Gen Z and C-Suite leaders. For healthcare professionals (HCPs), this shift is clearly intentional. They aren’t just fragmenting – they’re filtering for survival: 📈 Managing a growing burden of patient misinformation 🔽 Narrowing their information sources to reduce information overload ✔️ Prioritising verification to ensure reliability For healthcare clients, that means: • Addressing patient misinformation and how that impacts HCPs work – providing a clear and impactful counter-narrative 📨 • Ensuring verification is at the centre of your comms – credible authorship and transparent source citation 💯 • Showing up in the spaces HCPs trust – don’t reinvent the wheel, meet your audience where they are and where they are already invested 🤝 • Acknowledging that HCPs engage in peer networks – they trust other clinicians, not companies. KOLs who authentically advocate for your brand will bring the biggest value 📢 💡 Ultimately, creating impactful comms isn’t about being the loudest voice, it’s about being in the right place with the right message. Read the report here 👉 https://lnkd.in/e568Rb22
- FleishmanHillard UKSince 20 Apr 2026
In a world where more brands and creators are competing for attention, it’s easy to assume audiences are overwhelmed... But we’re seeing a different story at FH. Rather than struggling to keep up, people are becoming far more intentional about what they engage with and where they engage with it. It’s not just that audiences are spread across more channels. They’re also far more selective, engaging based on context, mindset and trust in the moment. Fragmentation might feel chaotic from an advertiser’s point of view, but from an audience perspective, it’s pretty deliberate. People are building their own filters, and a lot of brands simply aren’t making the cut. The impact? You can still buy reach, but it gets inefficient quickly when relevance isn’t there. Getting in front of the right people, in the right context, with something that actually lands, is where the challenge (and opportunity) now sits. For paid teams, that means shifting focus towards: 👉 Tighter audience design (not just broader ICPs) 👉 Creative built for context and relevance 👉 Smarter sequencing across channels, not siloed activations If your strategy isn’t aligned to how people choose to engage, your campaigns quickly become noise. Our digital team has just launched a new report, The Era of Intentional Fragmentation, which explores this shift in more detail - why it’s happening, where audiences are going, and what it means for brands. It's a great read, and you can download it here: https://lnkd.in/eeMBw53n

The website is undeniably critical to the success of a LinkedIn Ads programme. Even more so NOW where more and more of the B2B research phase is happening within LLMs and on touchpoints that can't be attributed. When you do get your target market to your website. You need to make it count. It needs to be clear and it needs to meet them at the level and intent they're currently at - as you will never truly know what stage of the buyer journey they are in. It's all too easy to blame LinkedIn Ads when conversions in pipeline look low. I believe too many businesses underinvest and under focus in the website UX and UI and in getting regular feedback on the clarity of the message. I'm going to be covering principles of LinkedIn ads on this newsletter. Feels counterintuitive to be talking about the website for my first post but I think it's clear why it still matters. This principle is - 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬. Enjoy your Monday on planet earth! TT

The Hard Lesson: Why 34 Right Leads Beat 500 Wrong Ones If your marketing team is celebrating "hitting lead targets" while Sales is staring at an empty pipeline, you're reading the wrong spreadsheet. Here's how we took a resource management software company from zero pipeline impact to 336% YoY growth. 𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝘁 When we started, they were stuck in the silo trap. Broad targeting. Zero customer understanding. A LinkedIn account that was basically a bonfire with a budget. We didn't start with ads. We started with workshops. Sales. CS. Product. Anyone who actually talks to customers. If you don't understand the jobs-to-be-done for every person in a complex buying committee, your messaging is just noise. First-party research is essential for establishing the right foundation. 𝟮. 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 We ditched gated content lead gen. No more forcing people to trade their details for a PDF they'll never read. Instead, we moved value in-feed. Reframed messaging to match each persona's context. Sequenced campaigns through the actual buyer journey. We stopped asking for emails and started leaning on intent instead. 𝟯. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 vs. 𝗠𝗶𝗱-𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘁 This was the real breakthrough. We stopped running one campaign to rule them all. Treated budget like a portfolio: → Enterprise initiatives for high-value, long-game accounts where we focused on optimising for reach → Mid-Market projects for velocity for focused engagement and conversion to drive pipeline. Reviewed monthly. Moved money where the signals were strongest across firmographics and persona segments. Most companies quit because they don't see high lead volume after a couple of months, when 95% of their target market is not in buy mode. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀: → 2024 Pipeline: £1.1M → 2025 Pipeline: £4.8M → Growth: 336% YoY → 34 high-value MQLs = £4.12M pipeline. This channel isn't a game purely about lead volume - its about quality and getting the right 'leads' with intent that will lead to the ultimate goal - pipeline #linkedinads #b2bmarketing

In today's fast-evolving advertising and media landscape, the world's leading agencies are investing heavily in proprietary, agentic advertising capabilities that combine data, technology, AI, and automation to make smarter, faster, and more dynamic advertising decisions on behalf of their clients. Across earnings calls, industry events, and public statements, agencies have consistently reinforced their ambitions to build differentiated decisioning engines that unlock greater performance, efficiency, and value. A foundational component of this strategy is that agencies are increasingly moving to connect their proprietary solutions with the most effective and efficient route to premium advertising inventory, which is (more than) often the most direct one. Why? Because the most sophisticated decisioning engines are only as effective as the signals and supply paths that power them. Going direct to a publisher's ad server provides the fidelity, transparency, and efficiency required to unlock the full potential of agentic advertising, driving better outcomes for agencies, the advertisers they represent, and for publishers as well. https://lnkd.in/gD5N6iWJ

Higgsfield AI is one of my favorites for video storyboarding. If you need a concept with 20 shots, just use the MCP and give it a spreadsheet with the shots. It's still a lot of setup and juggling reference material though, so I combined it with Focal: - I write the creative concept shot by shot in Focal, each with its own brief and generation instructions. - When a shot needs a specific kind of reference, I can just look for one in my library. - AI search finds the exact scene in seconds e.g. based on visual content, or I can even filter for what actually performed best in ads (so you only use winners to generate new stuff). - Then I run Claude: it reads the brief from Focal, generates the shot with Higgsfield, and pushes the finished clip back into Focal automatically. There's no manual exporting or spreadsheets to manage. - From there, the AI generations become storyboard references for the real shoot, or could even go straight into the final cut. - Once every shot has the right material, it's easy to move to final edit Happy to share in more detail. DM me or drop a comment if you'd like to see more.

One of the best ad inspiration and intel sources is new ads other relevant brands are launching. So every Monday morning I get a structured breakdown of new creative angles others launched last week. There's too much material to go through manually, so you need something to digest it all in a meaningful way though. What most people end up doing is zooming in on the few examples that catch their eye the most, but that doesn't really help you get the big picture. The Meta Ads MCP helps quite a bit already for stuff like understanding ad copy strategies at scale, but it's still limited in what you can do in terms of visual analysis. That's why I've found Focal MCP so helpful. I can dissect the ad creative (and copy) using taxonomy I care about the most, and can get a detailed analysis of what others in my space are doing with visual examples. This makes it much easier to adapt interesting angles into my own briefs or adjust our positioning for example. What are some of your favorite ad inspiration or intel sources and how do you analyze them in a meaningful way?

The pairing of live events and programmatic is a dream scenario for advertisers. But the truth is, programmatic wasn’t built for premium, much less live events with dynamic ad breaks and massive audiences. A lot can go wrong in the milliseconds it takes to deliver the right ad to the right viewer, but there are smart, easy ways to avoid any mistakes. With the right partner helping manage complexity for both programmers and advertisers, programmatic can fully unlock the vision of bringing the best of linear to digital across every stage of the marketing funnel. Over at Ad Age, I wrote about the three key things that need to be done to ensure success.

The future of marketing isn’t about louder ads. It’s about experiences people actually choose to spend time with. Over the past years at Flarie, working with brands like 7 eleven, Klarna, and L’Oréal, I’ve seen a clear pattern: Clicks don’t build relationships. Engagement time does. And play is the single most underrated driver of both. Think about it: the average digital ad gets a split-second glance, then it’s forgotten. But when someone spends minutes interacting with your brand, the psychology is completely different. They’ve invested time, they’ve had fun, and they walk away with a memory. That memory is what creates affinity, and affinity is what drives loyalty. Marketing leaders who understand this shift are already rethinking their strategy: less “shouting for attention,” more “designing for participation.” 👉 Curious to explore how gamified experiences are reshaping customer engagement across industries? 👀 Let's end the debate... Is SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) the exact same thing? Well... No. They're cousins... But not the same. I've seen people holding onto the legacy philosophies of SEO. I've seen teams insist on embracing the legacy tactics of SEO. And in probably 12 to 16 months... I'm going to see those same teams wondering where all their pipeline and prospects went. Why? Because they haven't adopted to something I've been preaching for decades: Discovery doesn't just happen through search. Discovery happens on a TON of different channels. And Generative Engine Optimization is the way for organizations to start thinking about how to communicate about this shift. In this video, I break down some things that make up the differences between the two ideas, the overlap and how brands can execute. #Marketing #GenerativeEngineOptimization #AEO #Reddit
