Your LinkedIn ads are bleeding budget and you probably don’t know it. Or maybe you know it, but there’s never been anything you can do about it…until now. I see this pattern across every client running LinkedIn campaigns. They’re on Max Delivery because it’s the default. It feels safe. LinkedIn’s algorithm wins as many auctions as possible, which sounds like a win until you look at what you’re actually paying. Max Delivery means you’re paying premium prices during high-traffic windows when you could get the same audience for 40% less during off-peak hours. Same job titles. Same seniorities. Same companies. Different price tag. Manual bidding gives you that control back, but nobody has time to adjust bids every 15 minutes. So campaigns sit on autopilot and overspend for months. Vector 👻 just launched a Bid Agent that automates the manual bidding piece. It runs bid adjustments throughout the day to find lower-cost impression windows within your exact target audience. Their data shows 25-60% more outcomes for the same spend. That’s actually just insane in the best way. The quality concern always comes up with bid optimization. Vector can’t serve ads outside your defined audience parameters. If you built a solid audience, every click still comes from those exact people. The agent just finds cheaper times to reach them. There’s a 3-day baseline period before optimization kicks in. Then it adjusts bids up to every 15 minutes based on weekly pacing. Daily spend varies, but you hit weekly targets without babysitting your campaigns. This solves a real problem I see every week in client accounts. Same budget. More pipeline. Simple math. I currently manage 454 Linkedin ads campaigns No joke, 454 campaigns. And outside of some very specific use cases, I rarely use maximum delivery (As you shouldn’t) It's all manual bidding. All of it. I hate it so much, but that's what needs to happen so costs don’t get out of control and performance doesn’t flop I hate it, I spend way too much time on it but it is a must for Linkedin ads performance. Luckily, all I do is Linkedin ads An in-house marketer or someone running paid media across multiple channels, you don’t have time to manage every campaign Having audited 1,000+ accounts over the years, that’s exactly what is happening 😬 So when I heard about Vector's new bid agent, I had to see it for myself. It’s a new feature from Vector 👻 that automates manual bidding on LinkedIn. It works by: 👉Replacing Max Delivery with Manual Bidding….This alone saves you unfathomable amounts of money 👉Automates bid adjustments up to every 15 minutes 👉Adjusts budgets dynamically on a weekly pacing model…Don’t get me started on budget pacing 👉Runs a 3-day baseline period before activating optimization Most importantly, with the goal of maximizing outcomes per dollar (not just to minimize spend). And the results they’re seeing so far speak for themselves. It is definitely worth checking out —> https://lnkd.in/gmhm3J45 No brainer for anyone who wants to save money on LinkedIn ads while getting better results and/or save time (Which should be everyone running Linkedin ads 😁) #VectorPartner

The most disrespectful thing about LinkedIn ads: The cost. The trauma from having to explain 8 clicks from $600 in spend sends SHIVERS down my spine. If you've given LinkedIn any money, then you know: - Expensive traffic - Shaky attribution - And still the best place to reach B2B buyers 😭 WHY, GOD, WHY? But seriously - have we talked about WHY this happens? Well, I was today years old when I learned that LinkedIn optimizes to win the *most* auctions, even at the detriment of your budget. And the solution is simple (you've probably heard many a paid guru tell you): Manual bidding. *GASP* Manual bidding??? In THIS economy??? You're probably like "Girl, please, I barely have time to eat lunch with my 1.5 team members, let alone babysit campaigns." I'm aware. But there's a better way. *Alexa, play "Hero" by Martech Carey* Vector 👻's Bid Agent. It’s a new feature that AUTOMATES manual bidding on LinkedIn (I know, it sounds like an oxymoron, but trust me). How it works: - Works as a predictive optimization engine - Adjusts budgets dynamically - Replaces Max Delivery with Manual Bidding - Automates bid adjustments up to every 15 minutes But there's a catch! It works best in the *consideration and conversion* phases of buying. Which is exactly where my favorite landing pages show up. The ones I talk about ALL the time. The ones designed to help buyers: - Do their research effectively - Justify their decisions internally - Create a solid business case for your product If you're investing in those touchpoints, then you can't afford to send overpriced, low-efficiency traffic from your ads. Vector lets you build ad audiences from real people that visit your site, click your ads, and research your competitors. So you don't have to resort to... whatever this is.

I get asked why my niche is in PAID MEDIA landing pages and not just any webpage on a B2B website. The reason is this: I want the ability to control the traffic. Even the best landing page WILL fail if the wrong people are sent to it. That's why I cry and beg B2B companies not to send paid traffic to their homepages. If everyone can get to the page including your buyers, current customers, job applicants, your mom... then you're making decisions based on diluted information. Then next thing you know, you're on LinkedIn saying: "PAID ADS ARE DEAD" No, no. Your targeting is dead and you're haunted by the ghosts of wasted spend. Jess Cook interviewed me at Exit Five’s Drive 2026. She asked me what my irrational fear was. I said "Spiders in my mouth while I sleep," but I think bad traffic to good landing pages scares me more. At least with paid, we can control the traffic. Well, sort of. Native targeting is kind of a black hole. You can pick all your requirements for a Director+ level at an Infosec company and still get a lost real estate agent submitting your forms. Which is what Vector solves for. - You get to build audiences with your real buyers - You see who they are before you spend a dime - You see who clicked, even if they don't convert That third point is my fave because I constantly preach that B2B buyers will spend 80% of their time consuming information before they EVER engage with you. If all this is boring, then just watch Jess try to scare me. Disclaimers: - Vector did NOT pay for this post. - Vector will, however, be sponsoring Notorious B2B 🥹 - I love Jess Cook and her brain. This was too cute an idea not to talk about.

Bad ad targeting is the ultimate demand gen nightmare. The kind that’s scarier than your Q4 pipeline forecast. 😬 Even with LinkedIn ads, where B2B targeting is crème de la crème, it’s not perfect. You can select “Head of Engineering.” But.... Your ads will still target 100+ other titles too. Some are fine (VP, Director of Engineering) Others… not so much (Engineering Specialist, Sales Engineer, etc). Cue the collective marketer scream into the void. That’s why, when possible, I love to use third-party targeting options to add a layer of precision on top of platform targeting. Tools like Vector 👻 make it easy to see who’s exactly in your audience before you spend a dime AND who actually clicks your ads before they convert. It's like X-ray vision for ad targeting. You reach real buyers, not ghosts of engineering interns. And in this economy… Wasted ad spend is one horror story we can actually prevent. Huge thanks to Jess Cook for the fun chat at Drive by Exit Five. It’s always a great time with you! PS - Who doesn’t want to be a demure ghost?! 👻 #VectorPartner
