For B2B LinkedIn Ads, If you're just reporting on clicks and impressions to leadership... you don't have job security. You're not running the business. You're running the spreadsheet. The marketers who are irreplaceable right now are the ones who can walk into a board meeting and say: "Here are the 14 accounts that engaged with our ads last month. Here's their industry, seniority, company size. Here's which ones just visited our pricing page. Here's the 3 deals in pipeline we can directly tie to this spend." That's a different conversation than CTR. And honestly? It's a different job. When I'm looking at our own campaigns now I can see demographic breakdowns by segment, exact account names clicking through, companies visiting our website from LinkedIn, and how all of that maps to actual pipeline. I pull that data into Claude and it spits out a board-ready report in minutes. No agency. No analyst. No "we'll follow up with the data next week." The tool I use for this is DemandSense but honestly the bigger point is this: The marketers who know their target audience better than sales... those people don't get cut. They get promoted. What are you actually reporting to leadership right now?

Send your closed deals back into LinkedIn and the first thing that happens is uncomfortable. Your best campaign stops being your best campaign. Because youve been ranking them on cost per lead this whole time. And cost per lead has almost nothing to do with which campaign produced revenue. The cheap one was cheap because it found people who like filling in forms. Plenty of them were never going to buy anything. Meanwhile the expensive campaign, the one somebody on your team keeps asking you to pause, has been quietly producing the deals that closed. You cant see any of that until the deals go back in. Heres the bit I actually like though. Its two separate events, not one. Qualified pipeline goes back as its own conversion. Closed won goes back on its own, with the deal amount attached to it. Which matters more than it sounds like, because those two arrive on completely different clocks. Pipeline shows up in weeks. Closed won can take months. So the fast signal keeps your campaigns learning while the slow one tells you the truth about revenue. And because the won deal carries its value, the reporting stops counting events and starts counting money. DemandSense pushes both from your CRM into LinkedIn with LinkedIns Conversions API. 30 day trial, no card. Link in the comments.

𝗠𝗲𝘁 𝗷𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗻 𝗷𝗲 𝗶𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗸𝘄𝗶𝗷𝘁. Eens, want bewijs is bewijs.

Today, we're launching a new product: TenSlides by Evidenza. According to our research, only 19% of marketers have a proper annual marketing plan. Most have a patchwork of slides, built on vibes, that barely cover their key markets and products. TenSlides is an annual marketing plan, rooted in marketing effectiveness and powered by synthetic research. Our goal is to give every marketer on earth a proper plan. We spent two years building this product with Dr. Mark Ritson, the legendary marketing professor, who has reviewed more brand plans than anyone alive. Ritson built the perfect plan, and Evidenza built the AI engine that can generate it for any brand, in any market. You'll get ten slides of strategy, backed by 90 slides of evidence. TenSlides covers research, segmentation, targeting, positioning, objectives, product, price, promotion, placement, and a budget with an expected return. Every decision shows its evidence, so you can interrogate it and push back. This is the first mass-market product from Evidenza, designed for every marketer. B2B and B2C. Big brands and small brands. In San Francisco or in Singapore. By our estimate, a proper plan would traditionally require about $2 million worth of research and six months of work. TenSlides can do it in days, starting at the wonderfully specific price of $10,010. The waitlist for the beta opens today. Get on the waitlist at TenSlides.ai Be among the first to get a plan for your brand!

The average marketing plan is 60 slides long. Nobody gets past slide 12. "I'll just jump to the final slide". Too many slides. Not enough data. A lack of proper strategic thinking. Huge gaps in marketing returns. Lost to another bad marketing plan or undercooked brand plan. I've sat through thousands of these plans. And two years ago I started working with Evidenza to create a new approach to marketing plans and brand plans. It's called TenSlides Ten slides. And then nine under each of those to support the decisions. One plan. Each one a decision: who to target, how to position, what to spend, what to kill. How to grow. And not just advertising. Pricing. Product development. Distribution. And a proper budget. Built from data. It's your marketing plan. It's your brand plan. But better. So much better. It's built on millions of dollars of synthetic data. It's been tested against thousands of other alternative plans - think Dr Strange defeating Thanos - so you get a plan that is not only superior to anything you and your team can build. It's the grand champion of thousands of efforts. A plan that has hundreds of red lines of analysis running in the background connecting your brand, your target customers, with the latest marketing thinking. We are currently in alpha testing mode with some of the world's biggest brands. The results are very promising. They suggest a proper revolution ahead. I am attaching a walkthrough of TenSlides so you can see what it can do. It really can do this! A proper unfair competitive advantage. You can also dig deeper at tenslides.ai We’re now taking a small number of beta clients. If you’re building your 2027 plan and want to see what yours looks like at ten slides, comment TEN below and we’ll be in touch.

Someone senior pings you on Slack: "Can we get this campaign live?" You know it won't move the number. They know it won't move the number. But the campaign goes live anyway. That's how most media plans die. Not in one bad decision, but in 20 small yeses we say every month. The easiest way to fix it is to add one line in your media plan that earmarks 5% of your budget for internal requests. Not as a courtesy, but as protection. And it turns a "no" into a "yes" with a limit. "We have room for that in the test budget" lands completely differently than "that's not in the plan." It gives you something to point at, and you're not blocking someone's idea. You're holding an agreement you both signed off on. It caps the damage, so pet projects stop eating the campaigns that are actually producing pipeline. And lastly, it gives good ideas a real home because some of those requests are right, so now there's a place to find out. Without it you don't have a plan, you have a wall. And trust me, people will climb walls. The 5% is not the point. Protecting the other 95% is. And I'd be lying if I said we always get this right. We're a small company. Someone has an idea on Tuesday and it's live by Thursday because it's an easy trap. But here's the thing. Every budget already has an earmark for this. Yours just isn't written down, it's bigger than 5%, and nobody agreed to it. Most teams have no idea how big it's gotten. That's usually the first thing we find. If you want to know what yours is, that's what the "Fix My Ads" free audit does. We go through your channels, show you what's actually producing and what's just living there, and tell you what we'd change first. It's free, and you'll leave the call with the list, whether or not you ever work with us. Book it here: https://lnkd.in/eVR3GsxD
- Executive PresenceRecorded 28 Oct 2026
When I started Executive Presence, most CEOs told me LinkedIn wasn’t for them. Too self-promotional. Too risky. Easier to stay quiet. I understood the instinct. I spent years on a nuclear submarine, where staying quiet is the whole job. But I also saw what happened when leaders shared real expertise and a real point of view: credibility, relationships, and business results that a press release never delivers. So I made a narrow bet on it. Last week, that bet earned Executive Presence a win at the 2026 TITAN Awards for Achievement in Growth. Since we started, we’ve worked with more than 400 executives. Today we represent the CEOs of five publicly traded companies, along with leaders in healthcare, technology, professional services, and manufacturing. The biggest shift isn’t in our numbers. It’s in the question executives ask us. It used to be “should I be doing this?” Now it’s “how do I start?” What began as a narrow bet has become table stakes. I’m proud of the recognition. I’m prouder of the team behind it: former consultants, writers, and media strategists who understand the business goals behind every post. Thank you to them, and to every executive who trusted us with their voice. We were picked up by The Associated Press, The Colorado Gazette, Rocky Mountain Business Brief, FOX31 KDVR / Channel 2 KWGN, Tech Journal of Colorado, and more. Full article in the comments. The growth came from leaders deciding to show up. That’s still the hard part, and it’s still the part that works.
- GeneroRecorded 28 Oct 2026
Genero x UNKNOWN Today we’ve launched a partnership with UNKNOWN giving brands on-demand access to senior creative talent. There is more senior talent working independently now than ever before. Brands need creative support more than they ever have. But we hear from clients every day how hard their current systems make it. At best they’re slow, inefficient and full of friction. Often they block working with independent talent entirely. Ollie Scott and I wanted to fix that by giving brands access to this growing talent pool, through a model that respects the experience of senior talent and pays them fairly for their thinking. The first product is for creative development, powered by an invite-only pool of senior creative talent, curated by UNKNOWN. Three senior creative directors are matched to each brief. Each pitches three fleshed-out creative territories, giving a choice of nine routes. One chosen territory is developed into a creative platform, campaign idea and production-ready brief. Creatives are paid for every stage, including the pitch. And brands move from brief to production-ready creative platform in three weeks. Live now for briefs in the UK (£20k) and US ($30k), with more regions to follow soon. If you’re looking for a new creative platform and big campaignable idea from the best senior independent talent, get in touch. More details: genero.com/unknown
- GeneroRecorded 28 Oct 2026
Seventeen years ago this month we launched Genero around a bet on where marketing and creativity were heading. We've constantly evolved working alongside many of the world's best brands, but there has been more change in the last three years than in the previous ten. Our business has kept up, but our brand hasn't. The content demands on marketing teams are relentless. There is a growing pool of creative businesses, talent and social creators working independently, ready to meet them. But the systems brands rely on were never built to work with a talent pool this distributed and fragmented. That's the problem we solve. But finding a simple way to describe what we've built has been hard. Over the years we've called ourselves a platform, a marketplace, a new model agency. Each label described an element of what we are and undersold the rest. It helps people to put you in a box, but we've never fitted neatly into one. Today we're launching the new Genero: a creative delivery system that helps modern marketing teams harness the new creative world. To create more, move faster and spend smarter. Our network, platform and team work as one connected system. None of them solves the problem without the other two, and it's the way they work together and flex around each client that creates the value. We’ve built a new operating system for the new creative world. Less friction. More creative flow. Meet the new Genero.

Most companies have no idea how often ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude mention them. And even fewer know how they stack up against their competitors. So we built a tool that tracked every relevant buying question for our client. Each month, we reported on which searches they appeared in across each AI engine, and periodically benchmarked their performance against their biggest competitors. And along the way, we collaborated with our client on weekly website content creation and broader website updates designed for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). In December, the client appeared in 19% of the answers we tracked. By July, that number was at 90%. (Today, it’s at 97%) Across 35 questions and three engines (105 possible appearances) our client appeared 90 times. Their two biggest competitors landed 39 and 16. On Claude, our client showed up in 34 of 35 prompts. Every experiment I've ever run starts the same way: define what winning looks like, break the process down into parts, then go build it. So if you can’t define what winning looks like, you can’t optimize for it. If you don’t know your share of AI answers, you’re just playing roulette. You can’t optimize what you don’t measure. So if you don't know your share of the AI answers, you don't know whether you're winning or quietly disappearing. (You can see the full breakdown, including how we built the tracker, linked in the first comment below.)

AI search checks 10 things before it cites your page. You already know most of them 🧨 Answer up top. Clear headings. Tables. Original data. Real FAQs. Crawlable HTML. A named author. Fresh dates. Mentions off your site. Consistent schema. That’s not a new discipline. That’s SEO done properly. AI search is just less forgiving. It needs an answer it can lift in one piece. If your page doesn’t have one, it cites a page that does. Where most pages fail: 💎 The answer is buried in paragraph four 💎 “Written by Team” with no real person 💎 Key content only loads with JavaScript 💎 No data of their own Fix these before you pay for a “GEO audit”. #GEO
- Cookie InformationSince 23 Oct 2026
Most people assume cookie banners are the easy part of privacy compliance. Well... I might change your mind in a second, but trust me – it's for your own sake. The basics are well known. No cookies before consent. “Reject” as easy to click as “Accept”. No pre-ticked boxes. Plain-language information. But a banner can tick all the boxes on the surface and still behave differently behind the scenes. At Cookie Information, we checked 1,729 websites across the Nordics, and 73% of them set cookies before the visitor had agreed to anything. Don't get me wrong: I don’t think most of those teams cut corners. Usually, it’s a small gap in the setup, like a tag that fires a bit too early, and nobody had a reason to go looking for it. The good news is that once you spot it, it’s usually easy to fix. So I’m running a free 30-minute session on November 5 at 14:00 CET. We’ll cover what the rules actually expect, look at a few real banner setups side by side, and finish with a 5-step checklist you can use on your own site. Join live on LinkedIn: https://lnkd.in/eac3ctiR ... Or register to get a calendar invite (so you don't miss the session!), the recording (in case you miss it ), and the checklist: https://lnkd.in/eP6x_bQ6 Hope to see you there.

We’ve had hackathons before, but never like this. 2 days. 14 researchers and engineers flown in from NYC, SF and Antwerp. 8 features live. Every one started with something a client asked for. Some of my favorites: ✅ Question bank: save screener and study questions once, reuse them across your org. ✅ Slider questions: rate items with a sliding scale, then dig into the answers. ✅ A redesigned stimulus library and editor. And even more on the way. Very proud of this team. The engineer in me has never had so much FOMO. Count me in for the next one.

I've been going through Meta setups with a few brands this week, and the list of what matters right now is shorter than people expect. This summer we ran structured Meta tests with a group of brands. The change that moved performance most wasn't a new campaign type. It was consolidation: fewer, bigger ad sets, so Advantage+ has enough signal to learn from. The impact: ✅ ROAS went from +9% YoY in June to +32% in August as the tests landed ✅ One premium fashion brand consolidated its UK account and saw 40% lower CAC That's why the window to restructure is now. It closes before peak, not during it. If you're not consolidated yet: - Merge overlapping ad sets so budget isn't split across duplicate audiences - Give each ad set at least 5 creative variations - Run one promotion-specific Advantage+ sales campaign alongside your always-on Then hold structural edits once peak week starts. Changes reset the learning phase when consistency matters most. The full Meta plan for Q4 is in the Peak Playbook 2026. Link in the comments.
