Keuzes maken is lastig.

SEO / AEO rocket fuel: This study organically acquired over 2,000 backlinks ($400k+ in retail value) and is growing exponentially, increasing by ~100 referring domains every month. (We produced this study for a B2B SaaS client of ours) If we took the average costs of building a backlink, the retail value of this study's link profile is somewhere between $400k - $600k. That's a lot of authority being pushed to commercial pages on this website. B2B SaaS companies are sitting on so much first-party data that nobody else has, it's the perfect ingredient for differentiated content that ranks and gets cited by LLMs. Here's the process we went through: (1) Topic and angle validation A mistake companies make is going after topics and queries that aren't grounded in demand. If nobody (incl. LLMs) discovers your study it won't succeed. These projects take dozens of hours to produce so we want the biggest probability of creating a splash. - we did an N-gram analysis of GSC to find demand patterns - we researched existing studies that were outliers - we found the sweet spot of demand <> narrative overlap (2) Data requests and analysis Once you have a better idea of the questions you want to answer in your study (and rough idea of queries to target), you pull the data. Some clients do this or our in-house engineers do it. This study analysed billions of data points - not something you can easily do natively ChatGPT or Claude without hallucinations. It requires real software. (3) Content production & design This is where we go through the editorial and SEO process. The questions we ask at this stage: - what queries do we want to target? - what's the overarching narrative? - how does this connect to our value props and differentiators? - what are the key insights for the reader & how might we visualise them? - are we optimising for discoverability and extraction? An asset like this can lift so many pages. Every internal link, anchor text, CTA and page component really matters. (4) Distribution Arguably the most important step that gets your study in front of your ICP. Many ways to do this: - PR / proactive link building - paid - influencer - owned social profiles (founder, employees, etc.) And don't forget to refresh all of your older, relevant content with the fresh data to experience a nice performance uplift :)

Echte bedrijven. Echte data. Echte verschillen. · Wie wint share of voice? Ongecensureerd… 😉

If your content can be reduced to a generic summary, your buyer probably got very little from it. B2B buyers do most of their research before talking to sales. They compare options, evaluate competitors and use AI tools to narrow down their choices. By the time they become a lead, they already have context. To me, the real question is whether your content helped build that understanding or just added another piece to consume. I think that gap appears later in the funnel. Sales receives leads with little buying context, conversations restart from the beginning and MQL quality stays disconnected from business impact. Three questions can reveal if your content is helping buyers make decisions: 1. Does it solve a specific problem or try to speak to everyone? 2. Does it adapt to the buyer's context or deliver the same message regardless of who is reading? 3. Does it create a useful signal for the next interaction or disappear after consumption? Great content leaves your team understanding the buyer a little better than before.
- Ion InteractiveRecorded 8 Oct 2026
Most of the buying decision has already happened before your system logs anything about the buyer. Gartner put a number on it: 67% of B2B buyers now prefer a rep-free experience, and 45% used AI during a recent purchase. That means a big part of the research happens somewhere your team can't see. What I find most interesting is where the gap shows up. You still get the click. You still get the form fill. What you miss is the reasoning behind it: the question they had, the option they ruled out, the constraint that made them pause. That gap adds up quickly. Pipeline fills with contacts you can't really read. MQLs pass every scoring rule and still reach sales with little context behind the name. The MQL-to-SQL conversion rate takes the hit later, when a rep opens the record and has to piece together the context the buyer already worked through on their own. Trying to pull that research back into trackable channels is a losing bet. The buying habit changed, not just the tools. A better move is to give buyers a useful reason to share what they've already worked out. A static comparison page gets you a pageview. A short diagnostic with three questions can tell you where that buyer actually is. That's far more useful than another traffic number. You don't need to rebuild the funnel for this. Pick the one question your team most often has to guess at on a first call, and turn it into something the buyer can answer for you because it's useful enough to spend two minutes on. Logging that someone showed up is the easy part. Understanding what they were deciding before you ever saw them is where the real pipeline insight sits.

Link wrzucam w komentarzu.

If I was a Marketing/DemandGen director at a company whose ICP is industry agnostic, this is how I would structure Linkedln ads to generate pipeline over the next 6 months. The mistake I see all the time is heavy segmentation. Marketing teams split their campaigns into multiple ICP buckets: - SaaS companies 200–500 employees - Manufacturing companies 1k+ employees - Finance companies 500–2k employees - Healthcare companies 200–1k employees Each segment need a set of campaigns and budget. It sounds like good personalization. But in reality it often fragments reach so much that none of the segments get enough penetration. Instead, I would start with a Total ICP layer. All accounts that fit the ICP go into one master list, regardless of industry or company size. Then I would run campaigns across that entire list with messaging that is industry-agnostic but problem-specific. Things like: - Branded videos - Category education - Product messaging - Thought leadership - Even direct response ads to book a demo The key requirement is simple. The problem you talk about must resonate across industries. Once that "evergreen" layer is running, then I would add sub-ICP campaigns on top. Here we pull specific segments out of the main ICP list and tailor messaging more deeply. For example: - Industry-specific case studies - Testimonials from similar companies - More specific pain points - Segment-focused thought leadership These campaigns run in parallel, not instead of the main ICP campaigns. The goal is not hyper-personalization. The goal is reach first, relevance second. A strong evergreen ICP layer creates consistent account penetration, while the sub-ICP campaigns add relevance where it actually matters. We are rolling out this setup for more and more companies this year, and it works! ---- If you feel your paid media strategy could use some upgrade, let's schedule a call with me: https://derudigital.com/ We will also walk through your current setup and identify areas of improvement (or maybe we will just tell you that you are doing a great job!)

VPs/Head/Directors of Marketing of B2B companies, drop the TOFU-MOFU-BOFU setup in your paid media. It simply doesn’t match the B2B buying journey. We dropped it last year, and we run 2 motions instead: Out-of-market campaigns These reach the full ICP, not just the 5 percent who are ready to buy. We aim to reach as many target accounts as often and as efficiently as possible. We use our content framework to cover the things prospects want and need to know -> building association and familiarity with the brand. The ultimate goal is to get remembered once the need appears -> to get on that consideration list. We measure: • Target accounts reached (monthly and over time) • Engaged accounts (monthly and over time) • Brand search volume or share of search • Share of feed on LinkedIn This shows if awareness is growing and relevance is compounding. In-market campaigns Here comes paid search. We bid on competitor terms and high-intent category keywords, and in some cases, “capability” or “jobs to be done” terms. On paid social, we target high-intent actions such as visits to pricing pages, service pages, and open pipeline including MQLs, SQLs, and opportunities that haven’t closed yet. We want to stay visible and keep reminding prospects why we’re the best option until the deal is done. Of course, these are just signals that we assume are indication to being closer to in-market. Therefore, we also run "conversion" type ads toward out-of-market audiences (that we assume are out of market). We track direct and influenced leads, meetings, opportunities, and closed-wons. However, not every conversion comes from in-market campaigns. Most likely, they have already interacted with out-of-market campaigns. That is why we measure everything as one motion. We look at LinkedIn’s influence on the pipeline as a whole, not by campaign type. And if you are using an attribution platform, you will see it reflected in the customer journey views. B2B buying isn’t linear. Watching a brand video doesn’t mean they are ready for testimonials. Seeing testimonials doesn’t mean they are ready to convert. The setup needs to reflect that. We believe this one does. ---- If you feel your paid media strategy could use some upgrade, let's schedule a call with me: https://derudigital.com/ We will also walk through your current setup and identify areas of improvement (or maybe we will just tell you that you are doing a great job!)

Two years ago it felt like we were 'defending our own play' by explaining human experts would stay relevant even if AI created more and more content. For those of us who've worked in content for many years, it felt pretty logical. By now, AI companies are making the case for us. Human experts are not just relevant; they are extremely necessary. Read Anthropic's own job posting for Head of Copy & Content, the role that owns voice, tone, and creative across the Anthropic and Claude brands: "We care about craft, making things by hand and using AI when it makes sense." That's the company that builds Claude, in a public job posting, telling the world that handmade creative work matters. AI is one tool inside the process, not the process itself. Happy to see our AI friends have seen the light. No more defending. Just making sure our clients get access to the amazing, creative human experts in our network, all across the globe.

The EU just banned a word your brand has probably used 25 times this year.🚨 And there's a good chance it's about to cost your brand heavily 💰 The word is "eco-friendly". Since 27 September, it's been banned in the EU unless you can prove it to a recognised standard, like the EU Ecolabel. The same goes for "green", "good for the planet" and any other generic environmental claim. "Carbon neutral" on a product is out too if it's based on offsetting, however many credits you've bought. They've even banned homemade sustainability badges. Any label now has to come from a certification scheme with independent checks, or from a public authority. There's no transition period either. If it's still live, it's covered, no matter when it was signed off. Fines can reach 4% of annual turnover in the member state where the breach happens. So a lot of brands are about to be scrambling to find every "eco-friendly" they've ever published, across every market and region they sell in. If that's you, start with what consumers see most: social channels, product pages and anything still running in paid. Then work back through regional sites, retailer listings and old campaign pages that are still indexed. There's a full breakdown in the first comment. Got a question about a specific claim? Send it my way.

When AI moves from the lab to the lives of a billion plus people, not just the stakes but even the fundamentals change. In my latest column for The Financial Express, I explored what it takes to build AI that is not just powerful, but TRUSTED at population scale. When we look around, there's a growing realization that India has spent a decade building a nationwide trust layer through its Digital Public Infrastructure, and today, AI is helping build a second layer of intelligence on top of it, turning access into personalized insight. And we have all seen tangible results. Take Digi Yatra; it has transformed over 100 million journeys using facial recognition. While drafting this byline, there was a genuine moment of pride in realizing how India has built an intelligent system delivering real impact at scale, in every nook and corner of the country. You can read more here: https://lnkd.in/ddwQYBNm Scaling is inevitable. But real impact requires Trust by Design, anchored, as the new M.A.N.A.V framework sets out, in ethics, accountability, sovereignty, inclusivity and safety. Three imperatives stand out: 1) Architecture of choice — open ecosystems, flexible models, and sovereign infrastructure so organizations can pick the right tool for each task, not get locked into one. 2) Embedded governance — security, permissions, monitoring and accountability baked into every layer (infrastructure, data, models, apps), not bolted on later. 3) Inclusive talent — AI literacy woven into education and continuous skilling across every level of the workforce, reaching far beyond metros into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. India has a rare opportunity to show the world not just AI at scale, but AI done right. Já: Do agentury už nepůjdu. O pár let později: Na stole mi přistávají profily Saunia, Kaufland, inSPORTline a služební telefon. Dává to smysl? Udělej. ✨ ŽÁDNÁ DUHA – můj růžový stůl moc neodpovídá nátuře agentury. Nejsme jedna rodina. Neříkáme, že táhneme za jeden provaz. Vzduchem tady hýří černý humor a občas divné hlášky.
