Stop sending "great to meet you" emails. Over the last 10 years I've sent hundreds of post-event follow-ups and the ones that get ignored all have one thing in common: they are about me, not them. "Great to meet you at [event]! I'd love to set up a call to show you how we can help." Yikes. That might as well be a cold email. It doesn't reference anything they said, their pain points, or their priorities. In our new era of AI-personalized emails, prospects are raising the bar for what they reply to (or even read). Here's the sequence we run after meeting a lead at an event which works great for us: 1. Within 2 hours of the conversation: NO PITCHING. Reference 2 specific things they said. "You mentioned your team is struggling to [pain point]. I had the same problem here's what we did." You’ve just proved you actually listened. I use Blinq's AI Notetaker to transcribe and summarize my conversations, and tag them to the person. 2. 3 days later: Send something actually useful they didn't ask for (PS your product one-pager doesn't count). A case study, framework, or stat that's relevant to the problem they described, something that helps them even if they never buy from you. 3. 8 days after the event, if they haven’t replied yet: Now you've earned the right to ask for time but frame it around their problem, not your demo. "Would it be helpful if I walked you through how [company] solved [the exact issue you described] in 15 minutes?" Most teams blast one generic email on day 5 and wonder why nobody replies. Event marketing teams - what are your post-event sequences looking like and what’s working for you?

For a long time, edge strategy was treated as a procurement decision. You chose a provider, integrated deeply, and optimized within the limits of that platform. When things worked, the model held. When they did not, teams discovered how little control they actually had. What this Network World article captures is the real shift happening at the edge. The problem enterprises face today is not access to global delivery capacity. It is the inability to operate that capacity as a system. Vendor lock-in at the edge limits more than pricing flexibility. It constrains reliability, negotiation power, and the ability to respond when performance or availability diverges from expectations. Virtualizing the edge changes how the problem is framed. When multiple edge providers are operated through a unified control layer, traffic becomes dynamic rather than contractual. Failures become routing decisions instead of escalations. Cost, performance, and availability can be balanced continuously instead of negotiated annually. This does not replace CDNs. It changes their role. Delivery infrastructure becomes interchangeable. Control moves above the vendors. Architecture stops being defined by provider boundaries and starts being defined by operational intent. The edge is no longer just a delivery surface. It is an environment that needs governance. When the edge fails, who actually controls the traffic, you or the vendor running it? IO River

Europe is reclaiming its digital borders. The shift toward cloud sovereignty is no longer just a policy discussion. It is a massive architectural migration. European businesses are moving services away from US-based providers to avoid the trap of conflicting regulations. This move is driven by the reality that global providers cannot meet every local mandate in every jurisdiction. The compliance burden is becoming too heavy for a single network to carry. We see this happening in real time with the rise of the European Cloud User Coalition and the strict data residency requirements of the EU Data Act. These frameworks make it legally risky to store or process sensitive data on infrastructure subject to foreign surveillance laws. This shift creates a massive advantage for local players. A regional provider only needs to satisfy the rules of its own soil without worrying about legal friction from overseas. These local providers are now winning contracts that used to go to the global giants by default. The result is a world of network isolation. The challenge is that users still expect global access. You cannot trade availability for compliance and expect to stay competitive. The industry is stuck in an old mindset of choosing one side or the other. Either you stay global and risk fines, or you go local and lose your reach. In this new reality, the network you choose is no longer just a technical decision. It is a legal one. When the rules of the internet change country by country, can a single global network ever be the right answer again?

13 år med samme kunde betyder meget... CS MEGASTORE (tidl.

Same solution. Two platforms. Very different weeks. 35 hours in Power Apps: Power FX formulas for every conditional behavior, debugging instead of building — and business users watching from the sidelines. 10 hours in Ultimate Forms: the same solution, configured from dropdowns in SharePoint by the people who understand the process. "Low-code" that requires formulas everywhere isn't low-code. It's code with a friendlier logo. ✅ No Power FX, no debugging cycles ✅ Built by power users, not developers ✅ Easier to modify when requirements change The full side-by-side comparison: 👉 https://hubs.ly/Q04sd9D50 #SharePoint #Microsoft365 #PowerApps #NoCode #LowCode #BusinessApps #MSMarketplace #DigitalTransformation #UltimateForms #Infowise #MicrosoftMarketplace

I compared Hyrax AI against the other tools in this space: CodeRabbit, Greptile, Copilot, Snyk, Semgrep, SonarQube, Qodo. Most are genuinely good at their job, and the breakdown gives credit where it's due. All of them stop at telling you something is wrong. Someone still has to write the fix and get it through CI. Hyrax writes the fix, runs it through CI to confirm it works, and submits the PR. A person still merges it. Full breakdown, tool by tool: hyrax.dev/compare

Hyrax free just got a lot more generous, and I'm pumped about it. Every workspace now gets the full product: a $30 signup credit, $10 in fresh credit every month, and up to 100 PR reviews a month. Spend it on audits, fixes, or reviews. No credit card. I wanted anyone to point Hyrax at their repo and see it work before paying a cent. Now you can. Try it free: hyrax.dev/pricing

I’m feeling like the bottleneck lately… Rushing strategic calls. Pulled thin across product, sales, and partnerships. Details slipping that never used to slip. Even worse: high-volume days mean even key sales conversations are starting to blur together. The team needs more access to me, but I feel like I’m drowning IN the business, and not working ON the business. Here’s the tension I’m dealing with: momentum is incredible. Being relentless as an IC has been the recipe that led us to $2M+ in ARR. And easing off the gas here feels risky. But I’m starting to think that me staying as the bottleneck is riskier. So we’re tackling this risk head-on… and hiring across the board. We’re trading our near-term profitability to build more capacity across engineering, marketing, design, and sales. If you're in one of these functions, we'd love to meet you! Otherwise, for founders at other fast-growing startups: how do you personally balance the IC vs. strategic at your company?

You may have noticed... 👀 we look a little different today 👀 After nearly 5 years after founding Accord, our brand + messaging needed an upgrade. To reflect what we've learned working with 1,000's of elite GTM leaders, and why striving for Revenue Excellence fails when it comes to consistent execution... In short, here's what I see almost every day: 🎯 CRO / Enablement / RevOps invest $$$$ millions on sales tools, consultants, and process. 🎯 They build a killer strategy. Mapping value props. Frameworks for value selling. Handoffs. Multi-threading. Qualification. Etc. 🎯 Big launch at SKO or some kickoff with hundreds of hours for prep and rollout. 🎯 Everyone is hyped and energized by the project 🚫 A few months later, 80%+ is unused on the field and forgotten. 🚫 The culture stays status quo other than a few top reps and managers. 🚫 Win rates, deal size, and approach to customers don't budge. The core of this issue isn't their strategy or value-selling framework. And it's definitely NOT just 'reps being lazy' But why are we surprised by the lack of behavioural & cultural change when they just get a laminate on their desk?? or a bunch of new Salesforce Fields + Stage Names + MEDDPIC criteria to fill out! World-class strategy. With zero reinforcement built into their flow of work. Inspection. Without empathy. Your team doesn't need more fields to inspect their discovery. They need a workflow where DOING THE RIGHT THING IS THEIR DEFAULT. That's why took on the challenge of building Accord in the first place. Taking the 'homework' out of sales and into 'customer-work'. Taking static playbooks + content into a living workspace for every deal. Looking to make excellence the only option? And Not the exception? Welcome to the new Accord 👊

CX = broccoli. It's good for you, in many ways. Even if you cannot always calculate exactly HOW good it is for you. Companies invest in customer experience for good reasons. And yes, sometimes the ROI of those efforts can be demonstrated very clearly. A smoother onboarding, reduced effort, higher retention, lower costs. The ROI is clear, and you can build a business case that’s nice and clean. But often, CX is more like broccoli. You KNOW broccoli is good for you, but you’ll never know exactly how many extra days of life you gain from each bite you take. CX often works the same way. Some effects are measurable and visible, others quietly strengthen the business in ways that are hard to isolate. That’s why ROI in CX is rarely a single number. Put it like this: it can sometimes be hard to attribute the positive effects on your business directly to your CX efforts. Sometimes, it’s more like a pattern. A chain of evidence: - you listen, - you uncover friction, - teams improve the experience, - customers respond, - and the business feels the difference. Sometimes you can show the impact directly. Other times, the impact is still very real, but distributed across many interacting factors. That doesn’t make it any less valuable. It simply means CX is part of the fabric that keeps the organisation healthy. Not everything that counts can be calculated. But you can count on Hello Customer to do the measuring that matters for you. More info via www.hellocustomer.com

Over the past two weeks, two CEOs—independent of each other—told me the same thing: EBITDA is a lagging indicator. Customer satisfaction and employee engagement are far more insightful. This isn't to say EBITDA doesn’t matter; rather, it always comes too late. It reflects what has already happened, not what is about to happen. A recent statement captures this perfectly: “If I have a strong EBITDA, I know I must have had satisfied customers. If I measure high customer satisfaction today, I know my future EBITDA will be strong.” This highlights the difference between lagging and leading indicators. EBITDA is the scoreboard. Customer and employee signals are the steering wheel. Strong organizations don’t choose between the two. They understand which metrics help them reflect on the past and which guide them forward. Small business owners are the bravest people I know. No team, no back office, no safety net. They go anyway, because they want to build something of their own and live life on their own terms. Earlier this week I sat down with one of our members, who left a finance job to become a private chef in New York. I asked her why. She didn't even pause. "I wanted to be in the driver's seat. And now I have to keep the car filled." That's really the whole idea. Do what you love, for the people you love. The best part of my job, honestly, is that I get to fall in love with our customers, and they keep teaching me what we should build next. For them, AI is a real turning point. The ceiling used to be what one person can do. Now it's what one person and AI can do together, as an actual team, with their drive, taste and judgment at the center of it. I asked her which AI she uses. ChatGPT, without thinking about it. It's already where she plans, writes and thinks out loud. So I'm proud to say that starting today, HoneyBook is one of sixteen tools in OpenAI ChatGPT's new Small Business collection, a collection built for the people who are the whole company. Connect your account and your whole business is in the conversation. What's overdue, who's on tomorrow's schedule. Which of last night's inquiries to answer first, with the replies drafted in your voice. Or a proposal, built from your own template with your pricing. You're still in the driver's seat. The car just got a lot faster.

Frameworks tell us what matters. Workflows determine whether it actually happens. The Cyber Risk Institute (CRI)’s diagnostic statements have given financial institutions a clear, consistent structure for evaluating cyber and resilience maturity. But a diagnostic statement on its own can’t close a gap, gather evidence, or drive remediation. It has to be operationalized — connected to the people, processes, and workflows that turn intent into action. That’s where SmartSuite comes in. Because SmartSuite is workflow-native, CRI diagnostic statements become: – automation triggers – evidence anchors – remediation workflows – maturity indicators – executive reporting attributes CRI provides the clarity. SmartSuite provides the motion. Together, they create consistent, connected, and actionable cyber governance. Earlier this week, I asked for 3 RevOps folks who needed to carve territories. I got way more than I bargained for. So we decided to formalize things a bit. Check out the Carve beta. Create fair territories by chatting with AI. Describe your goals. Get a carve generated to your precise specifications. Refine and repeat. It's a bit like vibe coding for territories. Vibe carving? One beta user compressed two weeks of manual work into an afternoon AND was able to present 4 different scenarios for their VP instead of a single one. We need feedback ASAP. If you've got a deadline, sign up and let me know in the comments. I'll prioritize getting you in. https://getcarve.ai/

We're opening up another 5 spots in the Carve beta. This time for RevOps agencies/consultants helping clients with territory planning. If you're collecting account info from a bunch of client spreadsheets and then manually trying to balance workable territories, you might want to try it. Carve lets you build territories by talking to AI. Think vibe coding for territories (aka vibe carving). Just pull in your data from CSV/Excel/Salesforce/HubSpot, describe what you want to achieve and Carve's AI agent will build it out for you. So far, beta users are seeing a 5x speedup in the territory design process. They're also exploring more scenarios to find better (and fairer) approaches. Hit me up in the comments if you want to try it for your clients. If you know someone who runs an agency, tag 'em in please. First come, first serve.

🎃🍫 Forget the Halloween candy, we've shipped something even sweeter at Quo: Our AI agent, Sona, can now send texts during a call! When someone calls your business asking for a booking link, your hours, or directions, Sona can now instantly text it to them without interrupting the conversation. The call keeps flowing naturally while the caller gets exactly what they need on their phone. We built this because so many of our customers told us they needed it. It's been our most requested feature by far. Running a business means juggling a million things at once, and having an AI agent that can handle both talking and texting at the same time means fewer things fall through the cracks. The way it works is simple: • Add the new Send SMS action to your job flow • Write the message you want to send (like a scheduling link or your business info) • Sona handles the rest! It ensures callers can always do what they need, like scheduling an appointment, even while you sleep. 😉 If you're one of the many customers who requested this feature, let me know how you put it to work. And if you have ideas for what Sona should do next, I'm always happy to hear from you.
- QuoRecorded 21 Sept 2026
The other day, I watched Justine set up our voice AI agent, Sona, for a customer. Seeing the complicated scenarios Sona can handle with our Jobs feature was incredible. Here's how it works. Jobs let you customize how Sona handles different types of callers. Say you run a flooring company. You're getting calls from new leads, existing customers, and suppliers. Each group has different needs. With Jobs, you can set up a different flow for each caller type. Each one starts with a trigger based on how people identify themselves in the greeting. For new leads, you want to collect their info right away. Think zip code, type of service they need, budget, and the best time for an appointment. Sona asks the right questions and captures everything as they answer. For existing customers who need immediate help, you can set up transfers. If someone needs urgent support, Sona hands it off and shares any details it collected. This way, nothing gets lost in the handoff. And for suppliers and technicians, you create a job that routes those calls straight to the right person on your team. This ability to train Sona to be precise with every type of caller is what makes Jobs so powerful. In the video, I walk through how Jobs work—and how you can set them up in your Call Flow Builder. We've already heard so many stories from Quo customers using this to never miss a call. And we're just getting started.

Broken data doesn’t just slow reports, but slows your business. This MedTech manufacturer felt it every month. Their daily operations in Odoo worked well but an internal audit uncovered something deeper: unclear opening balances inconsistent historical records missing year-end procedures and years of manual fixes... with no traceability On paper, everything was functioning. In reality, the foundation was unstable. When we stepped in, the goal wasn’t just to fix numbers, it was to rebuild trust in the system. What changed: ✅ 100% audit-ready financials for 2023–2024 ✅ Clean, reliable opening balances ✅ Accurate FDA QMSR + ISO 13485-aligned reporting ✅ A stable, repeatable year-end closing workflow ✅ Finance regained full confidence in Odoo data How we made it happen: ⚙️ Re-imported all opening balances using proper 31.12 cutoffs 📁 Rebuilt the Chart of Accounts with a clear, audit-proof structure 🧾 Restored historical lot/serial genealogy and corrected DHR/DMR data. 🔍 Standardized month-end & year-end procedures 🤝 Validated all reports directly with auditors Behind these results is a simple truth: Most ERP issues don’t come from the software they come from the setup you inherited. Fix the foundation, and the whole system transforms. 💬 Comment DATA, and I’ll share the data migration plan we use to restore data integrity in Odoo without disrupting daily operations.

Sorry Tyler for the horrible AI image but there were so many great lessons in today's podcast episode that I had to turn it into a classroom setting! Some takeaways: - Internal tools for developers should spark joy - Focus on your core competencies – don't build things that don't produce unique value for your org - Dev tools and platforms should provide leverage points for the org - Scorecards are key for an IDP – they turn IDPs from data platforms to action Listen to the podcast, linked in the comments below for more insights!

One of the major but underdiscussed takeaways from the recent DORA report is the importance of investing in your foundations. AI is an amplifier as Nathen Harvey puts so succinctly – it makes the things you're good at better, and turns your org's weaknesses into even more of a bottleneck. A simple example of this is if your long CI builds are leading to a review pileup on senior ICs, no surprise, more PRs is going make this even worse! Don't think about improving your engineering workflow in a Before AI and After AI lens – focus on your existing bottlenecks and just make those better. The results will come.
