Your AI agent saved the company money. Great! Compared to what? That’s a question more organizations need to be asking. On a recent episode of Trusted2Act, my co-host Cole Howard asked Anita Ganti how companies should measure the real value of an AI pilot. Her answer was refreshingly practical. Before celebrating what your shiny new AI agent accomplished, compare it against a realistic alternative. Maybe that’s traditional automation, a better process, or good old-fashioned regex! And don’t forget the human cost. If your agent writes code faster than your people can review it, have you really improved productivity? Or just moved the bottleneck? I think this is an important part of agent accountability. It’s not just about whether we can trust an agent to do something. It’s whether we should have given it the job in the first place. Great conversation with Anita. Catch it on Trusted2Act! https://lnkd.in/gHXyaqK6

LiteLLM has suffered another dangerous breach (https://lnkd.in/eBCim6Bx) that allowed attackers to publish a malicious version to PyPI. This one does really bad stuff, like credential theft and remote code execution tools. If you use Cloudsmith and you use our cooldown (https://lnkd.in/en9kaJhj) and malicious package policies (https://lnkd.in/ep5-rabp), you’re safe - we blocked the bad package from getting to your developers, AI agents, and build pipelines. We wrote up a detailed blog explaining this attack (https://lnkd.in/euWG-w45), which is scary because LiteLLM is really popular on PyPI and Docker Hub (23 million downloads a week).

At MedixSafe, a subscription date moved. Someone in ops rebuilt the proration by hand. The rep opened the amendment. Ops reran the custom calculation. Finance checked it against the partner price book. The close ran into the evening. Every date change. Same math. From scratch. MedixSafe tracked dates, MRR and license counts in its CRM. Nobody had encoded the rules for amendments, renewals or proration. So MedixSafe's two-person ops team encoded them once, in DealHub.ai. "Closing the month off, I do a quick glance over. We went from 20 hours to two hours." Leonie Christiani, Chief Operations Officer, MedixSafe MedixSafe's reps now quote renewals and amendments 50% faster. Microsoft’s end of mainstream support for BizTalk is a deadline. In healthcare, energy, financial services, insurance and the public sector, it’s also the first real chance in years to see what your integrations do. You can’t take those systems offline while you test a replacement. So the work is sequencing: what moves first, what runs in parallel and what can you prove to regulators along the way. The same visibility that makes a live migration safe also answers the questions your AI plans will raise. Where does the data go? Who controls it? Who can see what? On Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. CET, Ivan Prgomet from Region Skåne and Sebastian Dehman from Frends dig into how organizations that are under this kind of pressure plan their migration. If BizTalk is on your stack, this session is a must. Register here: https://lnkd.in/d58qX2MR #BizTalk #Integration #iPaaS #DataSovereignty #Microsoft #Frends

AI adoption is mostly solved: almost all leaders I speak to have rolled out access to some AI chat interface to their teams. Yet, most leaders guessing in the dark when it comes to understanding what their teams do with AI and how to capture ROI while keeping cost under control. But, in the age of AI, you cannot afford your business to become a black box. Make turns it into a glass box, where you can observe, monitor and govern how agents execute your business operations. Make is offering the execution layer for AI agents, where work across your stack runs reliably, controlled and governed. Combining intelligent decision making by AI with deterministic execution across workflows, functions and systems. For AI is the brain. But Make unlocks the execution. While humans stay in control.

Last week we hosted another 'Keep or Kill' dinner in London. Every guest brings 1-2 tools they’ve added or dropped. Here’s what came out of it: 🟢 Added and loved → Nooks got the most airtime by far. An SDR who moved into an AE role said losing it would be like losing a limb. Reps went from 20 or 30 dials a session to 70, and call pods where managers listen in turned dialing into a team sport. → TitanX matches the prospect’s US carrier before dialing. Connect rates went from 2% to 12%, and pickup rates keep climbing right up to the seventh call. → Kernel was called the cornerstone of territory planning by two guests, independently. It maps every entity back to the brand and shows the source behind every data point, so reps actually trust it. → Airspeed pulls every call into the CRM, so reps stop updating fields and the team can ask “why are we winning?” at scale. → Consensus lets champions share demo snippets with the buyers the rep never gets to meet. 🔴 Dropped and not missed → 6sense: Intent data arrives too late: once someone is reading your product pages, the buying process has already started. The team now tracks signals instead, like a CRM rollout, a new CIO or a champion moving companies. → Clari: One RevOps lead rebuilt it inside Salesforce in two weeks. → Apollo.io: “I just wanted contacts.” → Cognism, which gave way to Lusha for EMEA coverage. 🔍 Repeating patterns → Bad data is the one universal pain. Every seat mentioned it. One team deleted 1.6 million accounts, another deleted 60,000, and nobody missed them. Fix the data before you put AI on top. →“How does it plug into Claude?” is now a kill criterion. Several teams work Claude-first. Tools without a decent MCP are on borrowed time, and teams are happy to rebuild what they can. → Everyone is becoming everything, and buyers are tired of it. The tools people love do one job brilliantly. My takeaway: the bar has moved from “what can your tool do” to “what do you do so well I’d never bother rebuilding it.” Fair question for all of us building in this space, Flowla included. Huge thank you to everyone who joined. Next one’s in November, so ping me if you’d like a seat at the table.

You ask an agent: “Find me a hotel in London under £300, re-schedule my meetings, and book it.” You may never visit the hotel website. The agent discovers, chooses, authenticates, and acts for you. That is the Delegation Economy, and it puts new pressure on companies to create the right Agent Experience, not by blocking agentic traffic, but by making it secure and governed. My four takeaways on Delegation Economy control: 1. Human habits become delegated tasks. 2. Your most active customer may soon be an agent. 3. Enterprises need to control agents, not block them. 4. Delegation creates an authority problem. The interesting question for companies is what happens next: how do you let agents act without giving up control? That means governing access, delegated authority, observability, and where autonomy should stop. That is the problem space we’re focused on with Gravitee Agent Management. It will be fascinating to see how products like OpenAI Dots and Meta Muse accelerate this shift and make the Delegation Economy part of the normal way software is consumed. "There was a Confluence page for this, I think? Can't find it." 😵💫 Left: your knowledge base. One article. Last edited March 2023. Zero views this quarter. Right: your actual knowledge base. A Slack thread. 47 replies. Ends with fixed it, thanks! 🙏 I hear a version of this on almost every call with IT leaders: A ticket opens, we handle it in the background, and never document it. Here's the uncomfortable part: writing KB articles was never going to happen. Not because IT is lazy, but because the person who fixed it at 2:47 PM has 6 more tickets waiting. That's IT Harmony 🙃 #ITSM #KnowledgeManagement

"Someone just wants a charger, and my team takes 2-3 days to even respond." 🔌⚡ An IT manager at a logistics company told me this last week. Not embarrassed, just tired. A new laptop there: 5-10 business days. This isn't a capability problem. His team knows how to ship a charger. It's a bandwidth problem. Every trivial request waits in the same queue as the outage. How do you automate such requests? The fix isn't hiring a 4th person to click "approve" on chargers. It's making sure a human never sees that ticket at all. How long does a charger take in your org? Honest answers only. #ITSM #ServiceDesk

I stopped typing my lengthy prompts. I say them, and Fireflies Talk types them. I build AI agents for a living. And I was still typing every prompt and every email by hand. Think about that for a second. I've automated lead gen pipelines, outreach sequences, CRM workflows, client onboarding... but the moment I needed to reply to an email or write a prompt for my coding agent, I was back to typing it all out myself. So I started using Fireflies Talk. It's voice dictation built into the Fireflies desktop app. I just speak what I want to write and it types it for me in whatever app I'm in. Here's what changed in my daily workflow: 1️⃣ While vibe coding, my prompts are lengthy. Now I just hold Fn, talk through what I want built, and the full prompt is typed in my terminal. It even removes my ums and adds the punctuation. 2️⃣ I say my email reply out loud, messy and all, and Talk types the clean version for me. 3️⃣ For a really long prompt I double-tap Fn and it goes hands-free. When I'm done I tap it again and it's all typed out. Everything I dictate is saved in the app, so I can search an old prompt by a word I remember and reuse it. We're all so busy building AI systems for our businesses that we forget the biggest time sink is right in front of us: we're still manually typing everything ourselves. Some things are easier said than typed. I dictated this with Fireflies Talk. It's unlimited and free on every plan: https://lnkd.in/evu7VRKJ Fireflies.ai #FirefliesPartner

During our team offsite, I pulled out my phone and started responding to customer messages just by talking instead of typing. Seeing the team’s eyes light up was priceless. Since launching Talk on desktop, we’ve never seen a Fireflies product take off this quickly. In one week, I dictated enough words to write the first Harry Potter book. It’s completely changed how I communicate, think, and get ideas out of my head. Today, we’re bringing Fireflies Talk to mobile on both iOS and Android. Your best ideas shouldn’t have to wait until you’re at your desk. It’s free, with unlimited dictation on every plan. Download the Fireflies mobile app and just talk.

Recently a customer’s COO was direct: “Instead of hiring another customer service rep, we are developing our own agent.” Then they skirted my question about where the budget was coming from: “I just want to get this thing working, then optimize for costs later.” 💡 This made sense. 0→1 agent development is cheap and easy, and COOs have slush funds for AI-related initiatives. But a COO also knows that 1→100 development is hard, eventually their agent is going to be expensive, and vendor lock-in is risky because their model provider could raise prices. So that became our wedge: Connect the agent you built. When you have clarity on costs, swap in our agent, or another provider’s. Your team stays on Front. Models will keep getting cheaper and better, so our goal is to enable our customers to swap agents as better agents arrive, without moving their team off Front. 👉 Learn all about our new external agent functionality my team built here: https://lnkd.in/ghCyFCc2

We talk a lot about Cronofy's infrastructure giving your agents the context they need, so here’s what that looks like inside a real application. I've been building an AI assistant into our hiring tech sample app that uses the raw interview transcripts provided by Cronofy's Meeting Transcripts capability, and schedules interviews through our MCP Server. A recruiter can ask it how a candidate did in their last interview and get an answer based on what was actually said, then ask it to set up the next round and get an interview scheduling link back from a single prompt. As companies expand their portfolios, sales teams face a growing challenge: turning multiple product options, configurations and commercial conditions into the right offer for each customer. The real challenge isn't having a complex portfolio. It's making that complexity manageable throughout the sales process. Because customers don't want to navigate internal rules, pricing structures or approval workflows. They expect clear answers, accurate proposals and a smooth buying experience. This is where I believe technology can make a real difference. Solutions like Bit2win CPQ help organizations connect product configuration, pricing and quoting into a more consistent and efficient sales process. The goal isn't simply to generate quotes faster. It's to make complex offerings easier to sell and easier to buy. Discover how Bit2win CPQ can help: https://lnkd.in/d_rvAnuj #CPQ #SalesTransformation #DigitalTransformation #B2BSales

Spousta majitelů firem chce nové věci (systémy, aplikace, technologie) zkoušet hned a nemají energii sedět hodinu na schůzkách, které mnohdy ani nikam nevedou. Caflou jsme proto postavili tak, aby si ho člověk mohl vyzkoušet sám, bez závazků a bez sales prezentací. Šetříme tak čas klientům i sobě. A přišlo nám to prostě normální. Michal Uhlíř z IT firem coalsoft s.r.o. a coalios to zažil na vlastní kůži. ➡️ Jinde ho čekal hovor s obchodníkem a přístup dostal až za několik dní.

Mojí optikou je tohle ta nudnější část toho, co dneska jde, taková obdoba přepisování čísel z Excelu do faktur místo automatizace. ➡️ Hlasovým pokynem zavedu do systému nový lead včetně poznámek. 14. října v Cubex Praha. Moje přednáška startuje v 11:00 na wflow stage. Jestli se ukážete, stavte se za námi i na stánku, budeme tam celý den. 🤝

When people want to start a business I tell them, “Don’t do what I do.” Don't manage two relationships at once At Co.Lab we run the relationships of the students coming in and the mentors making it possible It gets complicated quickly And it’s not something you can run on goodwill and memory. It came to a point in the business when we realised this We needed to know who was active, who was on the bench, who had been trained on our latest curriculum, and who was ready for the next cohort. All at once. Relationship management wasn't just logistics, it was making people feel valued between the asks. Virtual dinners. Gift cards. Campaigns spotlighting our most active mentors. Making sure the first message they got from us wasn't "are you available next month?" All of that lived in Copper. Every mentor's history in one place - how many cohorts they'd supported, when they were last contacted, whether they needed a break or were ready to go again. When enrolment spiked and we needed mentors fast, we weren't scrambling. We knew exactly who to call and what to say. I started the process and handed it to another team member who ran it brilliantly. But the system meant anyone could pick it up without starting from scratch. Most people only reach out to their network when they need something. The right system makes it easy to show up before you need to. How do you manage your business relationships so no one gets left out? #CopperPartner #CopperCRM Copper

The best software doesn't force you to change how you work. It fits into how you already work. I learned that firsthand while helping build Copper as a Product Manager. Google Workspace was the first subscription we paid for at Co.Lab. Most business activity happened in Gmail, Docs, and Calendar. So when we eventually needed a CRM, using one built specifically for Google Workspace made sense. Copper works directly with the tools you already use every day, so you can manage relationships without constantly jumping between your CRM, Gmail and everything else. I didn't realize how much I'd appreciate that until I became a customer myself. Context switching adds up more than people think. Something happens with a lead → you see it in Gmail → you respond → you're right back to what you were doing. No new tabs and no new habits for the team to learn. It's one of the things I've come to believe since: Great software shouldn't create another workflow. It should make the one you already have better. #CopperPartner #CopperCRM

Agentic coding is amazing. I'm an optimist. I don't believe in the doomsayers. As technologists, we need to stop saying that it will end the world and put everyone out of a job. Instead we should focus on the absolutely wonderful impact it has on many individuals and companies across the world. That's why I deeply enjoyed my conversation with Brendan Falk. His company Hercules helps everyone build the customized tooling they always wanted. Like a restaurant owner that build his own pig inventory system (believe it or not). No doubt there's risk with AI. Our job as technologists is to manage the risk, and harness the upside. Technology is here to serve humans. Let's focus on that. This is the first of many interviews I will be doing with Codeship Labs to shine a light on the builders and founders that do exactly that. Leverage AI to have a positive impact on the world. Big shoutout to Ashley Sawatsky for helping me bring Codeship back to live. It's been one of the most fun experiences over the last five months since I came back to CloudBees. Check out the link to the full interview and blog post in the comments.

"We'll build it once, then get back to the product." It's never just once. Once to handle more connections. Once to chase down delivery delays under load. Once to stop a brief disconnect from becoming a reconnect storm. Each fix makes sense on its own. Together, they turn into a permanent job for a team that thought it was done. Scoping it as a one-off project keeps the upfront cost low. The rest gets paid later, one fix at a time. "Built" is a milestone, not the finish line.
