The worst design review I ever had was when everyone said looks great, ship it! and the board came back needing a pile of reworks.Cadstrom AI is the exact opposite. It reads every 1000-page datasheet in your design, follows each circuit through to the end, and hands you an exhaustive, prioritized list of issues that no human could produce in the same amount of time.It has found issues that would have taken years to show up and would have been devastating if left uncaught. I cant imagine shipping a design without running it through Cadstrom first. It is now standard practice at Lunar Energy to pass every board through Cadstroms AI agent at every stage of design and development. Cadstrom.io

I'll be in Minneapolis for MD&M Midwest on October 28 and 29, and I keep coming back to one question: why does hardware still get one big design review at the end? Software teams closed the loop years ago. Every change gets checked, so a problem is found while the change is still fresh. Most hardware gets one review near the end, after the problems have had months to hide, and the fix is a new revision. If you design electronics for a medical device, you know what that review costs and what rides on it. Bring the schematic you're working on, at any stage, to booth 2115. We'll run it through Cadstrom and go through what it finds with you. Most teams find something they didn't know about on the first pass. Need an expo pass? It's free with our guest code INVITE1018427. Register, book a time at the booth, or start a free review here: https://cadstrom.io/mdm #MDMMidwest #MedicalDevices #PCBDesign #HardwareEngineering

At Forum Europe's EU Sovereign Cloud Day, I had the pleasure of speaking to Ronald Bezuur, Founder and CEO of Uniserver As the debate around the barriers to a stronger European cloud market evolves, one issue continues to resurface: limited European-scale infrastructure and capacity. Ronald agrees that this is a core challenge, but points to the gap beginning to close, as the public sector and broader industries decrease reliance on hyperscalers and seek sovereign solutions. This means an uptick in revenue for European providers, helping them innovate and invest in core infrastructure. When paired with partnerships designed to strengthen the capabilities of providers, this is precisely how they scale to capture market share. Watch the full interview below #EUSovCloudDay

I’m joining Broadcom as Head of EU Government Affairs in Brussels when business and regulation are jointly shaping the future of how we use technology and global technology companies are at the forefront of those developments. Broadcom is one of those global technology companies powering the AI revolution, alongside Nvidia and others, with particular strength in custom AI chips, networking and the infrastructure behind large-scale AI data centers. In many ways, this new challenge brings together the different chapters of my career. For more than 30 years, I have worked at the intersection of business, technology, investment and regulation. Over the years, I have had the privilege to see complex business and public policy decisions from several sides of the table: as a corporate executive, an investor, a dealmaker and a European regulator at the EU Commission’s DG Competition. Each chapter gave me different but very complementary perspectives. - Industry taught me how global companies invest, partner, compete and grow. - My time at the European Commission deepened my understanding of markets structures, competition dynamics and, of course, the public interest. Today, these worlds are converging more than ever: AI, semiconductors, cloud, digital infrastructure and technological sovereignty are no longer only business topics. They are central to our competitiveness as well as economic and strategic future, in particular in Europe. At Broadcom, my role will be to help strengthening the dialogue between the company and European institutions, Member States and industry stakeholders. That means helping policymakers better understand Broadcom’s contribution to Europe’s digital and AI infrastructure ecosystem, while ensuring that Europe’s priorities, ambitions and concerns are clearly understood within the company. It is a role that feels both new and very familiar at the same time. New, because of the company, the challenges and the responsibility. Familiar, because it builds on my various experiences in connecting business, technology and regulation. I am grateful to the colleagues and friends at the European Commission and elsewhere who have contributed to my journey so far, and to the Broadcom team for their trust and warm welcome. See you soon in and around Brussels !

In a few days, Alan Liao and I are hosting our webinar, Breaking Down Micro-bump Probing Myths. If you're working with micro-bump test or advanced packaging, we're going to cover many of the practical questions that come up when moving from probe selection to a robust production process. We'll discuss: - Alignment requirements - Probe tip geometry and contact area - Force requirements - Tip size selection - Bump deformation - Pre-reflow versus post-reflow testing - Qualification and process considerations We'll also share real-world application and production examples that help illustrate where some common assumptions about micro-bump probing match manufacturing reality, and where they don't. October 8, 2026 US / Europe: 9:00 AM PDT https://lnkd.in/gMfM9G8q Asia: 9:00 AM CST https://lnkd.in/gBZH-XQj If these are challenges you're working through, I hope you can join us.

Today we announced a multi-generation collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help build the next generation of AI data center infrastructure. Together we are working across customized silicon and AI inference at scale. This is a significant validation of our data center strategy, with a potential revenue opportunity of up to $60 billion over time. Amazon choosing Qualcomm is a strong endorsement of our technology, our roadmap and our ability to deliver data center solutions at scale. AI infrastructure is entering a new phase where efficiency matters as much as performance. For decades we have delivered industry-leading compute performance within tight power envelopes, and we are now applying that expertise to the data center. 🔥 I’m hiring two Retail Media Network Builders - one in the US, one in Europe. Retail media is becoming one of the most important channels in advertising , and the next chapter won’t be won only by more inventory and impressions - it will be won by real impact ! At HYPERVSN we’re building a new generation of premium 3D media networks - more valuable for retailers , more impactful for brands , and more experiential for people. Experiential is the key word here. Our most immersive experiences happen in real life - in 3D. We humans are neurologically wired to experience the world in 3D , and naturally 3D content creates stronger and more memorable experiences - it’s biology and it’s fundamental to what we do ! So I’m looking for entrepreneurial retail media leaders who have built networks before - and want to build the next one from 0 to 1. People who understand retailers, landlords, media owners, sales houses, agencies, and brands -and know how to turn premium physical locations into media revenue. It is a role to build a new machine , it's a category defining role - for someone who can : - secure premium retail and real-world locations - build partnerships with retailers, landlords, and media owners - structure commercial models from scratch - launch pilots and turn them into networks - bring sales houses, agencies, and brands into the ecosystem - prove impact beyond impressions, scale what works and build the operating model around it If this sounds like you, please DM me - tell me what you've built. And if you know someone who has built media networks before - please send this to them or tag them below 🙏 We’re building premium 3D media networks.

- Text-onlyA lot of OEMs still run their manufacturing relationships on spreadsheets and ad-hoc fixes. * RFQs in one inbox. * Build histories in another. * Test issues in a separate tracker. * Supplier performance in someone’s head. It “works” – until something goes wrong. Old world: * Multiple suppliers, each with different processes * Limited visibility on where risk really sits * Data scattered across email, Excel, PDFs * Engineers and buyers spending hours chasing updates New world: A EMS partner with integrated NPI → PCBA → test → box build → logistics ✅ Clear DFM/DFT feedback before you commit ✅ Agreed test strategy and quality metrics ✅ Dedicated account and project management teams ✅ Real partnership, not “one of many vendors” The technology on your boards is complex. The way you manage it doesn’t have to be. If your spreadsheets feel more like a risk register than a control system, it’s probably time to move to the new world.Esprit ElectronicsSince 27 May 2026

There’s a lot changing at the grid edge, and the technology inside substations has to keep up. My colleague Cale Stephens is digging into exactly that during a POWER magazine webinar on September 24, including what “grid-ready” compute really means and what utilities should be thinking about as they modernize. If you work in the utility space, this is one to add to your calendar. Register here: https://lnkd.in/g9BpsVSW
