Contour Design

The interest in our wired keyboards across the Nordics has grown significantly over the past year. 📈 The reason isn't (only) because it is amazing to type on. It's data security. Public organizations and large companies in particular are asking for wired solutions, and they all give us the same reason: they want to shut every door they can. It makes sense, as Nordic intelligence services have repeatedly warned about cyber and hybrid attacks, and in September, Danish authorities raised the threat of destructive cyberattacks to HIGH. And while rare, there are documented cases of wireless connections being compromised and keystrokes intercepted. With a cable, that door is closed. Working in procurement or IT security in the public sector or critical infrastructure? Send us a message to hear more about our wired Balance keyboards. ⌨️

"A Windows Touchpad Worth Making Room For." That's the headline of PCMag's review of the Contour Touch, which earns an "Excellent" 4/5 rating! "The Contour Touch is one of the few standalone touchpads on the market. It's bulky, but its precise tracking, responsive gestures, and ergonomic design make it a worthwhile alternative to a mouse." Its centered placement keeps your arms closer to your body and your shoulders relaxed, and you can use it with either hand. You'll find the full review in the comments. #Ergonomics #WorkspaceHealth #Productivity

Did you know? Office workers use the mouse almost three times as much as the keyboard. But the mouse is also the tool that poses the greatest risk of musculoskeletal disorders. Repetitive movement, static muscle load and a rotated forearm are the three mechanisms behind mouse-related upper limb complaints. All three are design problems before they are behavior problems and all three can be reduced with a centered mouse. If you are auditing workstations this autumn, start with the thing the hand never lets go of.

We're proud to share that Contour Touch and Balance Full-Size Keyboard have been named an Honorable Mention in Fast Company's 2026 Innovation by Design Awards, in the Best Design: Europe, Middle East, and Africa category. Now in its 15th year, the awards celebrate designers and businesses solving today's most urgent challenges while anticipating tomorrow's. We're honored to be named alongside honorees like Google, Adidas, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Contour Touch moves the mouse from the side of the keyboard to its natural center, directly beneath the space bar, as a multi touch trackpad. Paired with the Balance Full-Size Keyboard, it lets people point, click, and type without repeatedly reaching sideways, reducing muscle load and the risk of repetitive strain injuries at work. #FCDesignAwards #InnovationByDesign #Ergonomics #WorkplaceHealth #FutureOfWork

Contour Personalization app is now on the Microsoft Store! It is the app where you decide how your Contour device behaves: Set cursor speed and scroll to your own preference, reassign buttons, and give individual applications their own setup, so the device follows the way you already work rather than the other way around. Getting it from the Microsoft Store also makes life easier for everyone, including IT. It is a source they already trust, an install they already know, and updates arriving the same way as everything else on the machine.
