For decades we celebrated the builder. Productivity was the proxy for value. Agents will out-build any human on raw output, around the clock. So if your value was that you were a very good builder, that is a problem. If your value is that you are the architect, deciding what gets built and why, a very capable builder is not a threat. It is what finally lets you build at scale. One question for every leader: are your people still builders, or have you given them the tools, the permission and the accountability to become architects?

Stop paying for LLM tokens you don't need. 🛑 If you're dealing with unpredictable AI costs from agent loops, duplicate calls, or oversized context windows, managing it app-by-app isn't the answer. You need centralized control. In our upcoming live session, John Gren and I will show you how to use Gravitee to set token budgets on a live API, enforce token-based rate limits, and route requests smartly across LLM providers so your costs actually match your workload. 📅 Oct 27, 2026 | 9:00 AM EST / 3:00 PM CET 👉 Register now to get your token spend under control: https://lnkd.in/e65QUHHZ #Gravitee #AI #CostControl #APIGateway #LLMs #TechWebinar

I used Fireflies Talk to reply to a cold email without typing it out. Not in a separate draft. Right in the actual reply box. I run a GTM agency for a living. Sometimes most of my day is turning an answer I already have into a paragraph. Or answering more emails than hours in the day. Not because I didn't know what to say, but because typing it out took longer than saying it. So I clicked into the box, held the key, and said my reply out loud. Stumbles and all. What showed up in the box was tidier than what came out of my mouth. Then I hit send myself. It's a dictation feature in the Fireflies desktop app, and Fireflies just made it free. Some things are easier said than typed. I dictated this with Fireflies.ai Talk. It's unlimited and free on every plan: https://lnkd.in/dTCdZzNd #FirefliesPartner

Fireflies just gave the voice in my head a keyboard and I have feelings. We've all got that internal narrator running 24/7, right? Like we're the star of our own sitcom (no? just me?). Well mine is sharp, funny and never rambles. The problem was never him. It was me, sitting down to type out and losing the whole bit somewhere between my brain and the keyboard. So now I just hold one key, say the exact line exactly how it sounded in my head, and it shows up. Clean. No rewriting, no losing my eloquent narrator mid-sentence. The best part? Fireflies rolled it into every plan. Free. Unlimited. (Yes, even the free plan) Some things are easier said than typed. I dictated this with Fireflies Talk. A hned nato vám dojde, co to znamená.

➡️ Všechno důležité zná a rozhoduje majitel. Když na týden zmizí, firma skoro stojí a hromada věcí čeká, až se vrátí. ➡️ Jeden kolega nestíhá a druhý houpe nohama, protože nikdo nevidí a neřeší, kolik práce lidi mají. My sami v Caflou jsme na tom nebyli líp. Např. jak má vypadat obchodní proces, jsme si nakreslili až po sedmi, osmi letech. Ano, bez zákazníků by nebylo co řídit. 😎

Here are 15 engineering leaders I think are worth following across AI, infrastructure and engineering at scale: → Katelyn Lesse leads platform engineering at Anthropic. Her work on Claude’s developer platform gets into a question more teams will face: how do you run agents within real security boundaries? → Boris Cherny leads Claude Code. I like his way of talking about coding agents as a way to shorten the distance between having an idea and seeing it work. → Ashwin Sreenivas is building AI agents for customer service at Decagon. He’s shared what it takes for those agents to look up information, take action and handle real customer requests. → Johann Schleier-Smith brings deep database and systems experience to Temporal’s work on reliable AI workflows. → Nic Cavigliano is a Technical Fellow at Indeed. I recently asked him what happens when an agent experience faces 10× growth. His answer on clear boundaries, backpressure and graceful degradation was worth sharing. → Michele Catasta writes about the engineering behind Replit Agent, including harness design and how to evaluate and improve agents at scale. → Adrian McDermott is CTO at Zendesk. He’s written about how AI is changing customer expectations and the technology needed to meet them. → Ryan S. leads infrastructure and core technology at Fin. His Rails World talk opened up the work behind keeping tests, deployments and shipping fast as agents produce more code. → Dharmesh Shah is building Agent.ai alongside his work at HubSpot. He shares his experiments with making agents useful and accessible to more builders. → Samar Abbas has worked on durable execution systems at AWS, Microsoft, Uber and Temporal. His recent writing tackles what AI agents need to keep working when a step fails. → Théo Carrive leads engineering at Mistral AI. He’s also shared practical accounts of how engineering teams work and what they learn from production incidents. → Gergely Nemeth leads Client Foundations at DoorDash. His writing on AI tools asks a good question: how do engineers use more automation without losing their understanding of the systems they build? → Fabian Hedin is co-founder and CTO at Lovable. He’s explained decisions behind the apps it generates, including the move to server rendering with TanStack Start. → Farhan Thawar leads engineering at Shopify. His perspective on AI in engineering goes beyond tool adoption to what engineers still need to understand for themselves. → Yoav Abrahami has written detailed guides to Wix’s architecture, from designing around different service levels to making microservices more reliable. Whose work would you add to this list?

“The most trustworthy Super Intelligence system will not be the one with the model we trust most, it will be the one that enables us to trust the model the least.” Continu. In Teams. #AIveiligheid #Microsoft #AIgeletterdheid #Copilot #DigitaleAdoptie

When Hurricane Isaias got close to my house in Florida, I went looking for a radar and wind app and kept running into the same thing. Almost every good one required a subscription or was packed with ads. So I built my own, with Claude, and I’m making it free for everyone. It runs on public data only. You can zoom all the way down to street level in a 3D weather view, and the level of detail is better than I expected. My goal was simple: track the wind at my house, along with all the other public data set layers, overlaid in one place. What stood out to me is how far a single person can get on a real project with the right tools and a clear problem to solve. If you’re in the path of a storm this season, or just like weather data, give it a try. It’s free, with no ads and no subscription. https://lnkd.in/gAxyxvRJ Would love to hear what layers or features you’d want added. #Claude #ClaudeCode #AI #Hurricane #Weather #BuildInPublic

Slide decks don't survive an earnings call. When you face the board and investors, there is nothing "artificial" about the P&L. The standard is binary: you either deliver the financial commitments, or you don't. That is the exact threshold agentic AI must now cross. The era of pilot theater and vanity metrics is over. If an agentic workflow doesn't directly improve margins, accelerate revenue, or compress cycle times, it isn’t enterprise-grade. At NiCE, this is how we govern our own AI transformation: * Every agentic use case ties directly to a measurable financial outcome. * Unit economics matter: we track token consumption against enterprise ROI. * Connection beats isolation -- standalone models and agents create noise; connected ecosystems drive real value. How is your leadership team measuring actual P&L impact from agentic AI? https://lnkd.in/gsjaJpsi

Ongebruikte licenties = weggegooid geld.

Fertig.

You want to run your business in Notion. But starting from scratch is SUUUPER overwhelming 😳 Not to mention SO time-consuming. (who has the time to teach themselves Notion AND build a whole system ON TOP of actually running the business?) I hear you 🫶 So I've built the hub I wish I had on day 1. I'm calling it the "Notion for Solopreneurs Hub". You can get it for free here: https://lnkd.in/e9dfYzdz It’s not a generic hub, I actually added pages I rely on myself every day. You can track your Tasks & Meetings, Projects, Clients, Content, Offers, Campaigns and Income. And keep your marketing strategy, competitors, customer interviews and ideas in check. OF COURSE I recorded a tutorial on how to use it. From setting up and planning to getting paid and reviewing your week, I got u. I run my whole life and business in Notion & am a Notion Ambassador: my coaching clients, workshops, brand deals, my LinkedIn Growth Community and the content that helped me grow to 45k followers - Notion has been my side kick through it all. Without governance, an AI automation nobody approved might be running your most important business processes. Here's how it usually goes: A support team uses AI to summarize customer requests. It works well. Someone connects it to the knowledge base. Now it drafts replies. The drafts are good, so routine ones go out automatically. Eventually it starts updating customer records. Every step makes sense, but nobody ever signed off on the whole thing. So today, an AI writing assistant is making decisions on behalf of the company. That's the Shadow AI problem I think leaders should worry about. The AI toolset it runs on was approved. The authority it gradually picked up never was. And shutting it down is usually the wrong first move. You remove the automation, but the bottleneck behind it stays. In this article, I show how to put the right level of governance around the AI already running in your business, so your teams can keep experimenting while you stay in control. Read the full article.

„One app to replace them all.“ Mit dem Slogan ist ClickUp lange angetreten.

Sequoia Capital is leading our Series C at a $1B valuation. Back in January, we were running 5 million CI jobs a week. We’re now running over 90 million, with more than 10,000 companies using Blacksmith to validate their code. When Aditya Maru, Aayush Shah and I started Blacksmith in 2024, we wanted to make CI faster and less painful. Even at the start of this year, we underestimated how much code people would be shipping. We expect that volume to only keep increasing as models get better and more engineers embrace AI codegen tools. We’re building Blacksmith to help developers merge code faster and feel confident about what they’re shipping. This funding lets us buy more compute, and we’re expanding our footprint by at least 5x next year. We’re just getting started. Come help us build what comes next - we’re hiring across the board in SF and NYC.

71% of B2B companies reported significant AI issues in the past 3 months. That number gets attention. But the reason behind it matters more. Most of these failures aren't about the models. They're about the systems AI is running on. From our research: → 24% said AI created more coordination work → 22% lost context during handoffs → 20% saw routing failures These are coordination problems. AI can process a request. But in most environments, it can't see the full workflow around that request: Which teams are involved What's already been said What dependencies exist across systems So it makes decisions with partial context. And that creates downstream work for humans to fix. In other words: AI didn't introduce the coordination gap. It exposed it. If coordination lives outside the system, AI will always struggle. If coordination is built into the system, AI starts to work the way people expect. That's the real shift. And that's what Front was built for. Full research: research.front.com
