Solid business. Stale brand. You have great people, strong services and deep expertise. But it's all held back by an outdated brand. Your brand doesn’t just need to attract clients. It needs to attract great people. Lots of firms end up lost in The Blandscape™ because they don’t tell the story of what it’s like to work there. No sense of culture or clear proposition for future hires. The Blandscape™ scores how well your employer brand is helping you compete for talent. You need more than just a basic recruitment page or a list of vacancies. We’re looking for a clear, consistent story people want to join. When this works, you attract better people, build stronger teams and create momentum that feeds everything else. It’s not fluff, it’s operational firepower. Looking back at 2025… what am I proud of? Hard to say just one thing. Just staying in the game deserves a bloody medal. If you’re running a business right now and you’re still standing, you're pretty rocking in my book. For me, the big one is finally getting a proper business strategy together. It took time. I only really got serious about business strategy a couple of years ago. But now, it’s become the guide I never knew I needed. It seems to me that if you're in a booming economy, you can get away with less strategic work. But if you're in a competitive, tough climate, then it becomes essential. Thoughts in the video below! ----- #Follow for stories about running Insight Online, strategy, marketing, and occasionally, my mum.

I didn’t predict the intertwining of Digital Out Of Home and Display Retargeting, but I’m here for it 🙌 Working with Asda & ZAVA we’ve: - Launched a campaign ONLINE & OFFLINE targeting specific locations around Asda Super Stores to reach customers & promote click & collect - Activating out of home across these key locations - Then following up with digital display & retargeting campaigns This was a labour of love setup by Hollie, Emily and our friends at StackAdapt 👏 All supported by clients’ with an open mind to testing something new, and an appetite for growth 🙌 I can’t wait to geek out on the results 📊 #digitaloutofhome #display #newcustomeracquisition

Anyone need a break but also scared of losing momentum? What's the right thing to do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Short History of Insight Online 2022 - Abysmal 2023 - Worse 2024 - Turnaround 2025 - Rebuilding strong Feels like it took us an age to get here. So, as the holidays come up, I'm bloody nervous about losing the momentum we've built. I don't want a start like last year where it took 6 months to get things moving again. My plan: Keep the marketing going through the break but not all on my shoulders. I’ve got great people like Marilene Gaerlan and Terri Morris stepping in to take some of the load, because I know “holiday Kim” won’t write 3 posts a week. Maybe that's the lesson: Tired? Get help. Let me know what you're up to! I think we'll head up to Paihia for a few days for some diving. ----- #Follow for stories about running Insight Online, strategy, marketing, and occasionally, my mum.

A 3-lead cap won’t win you an enterprise deal. Marketing teams are under pressure to spread budget across multiple target accounts. So they introduce lead caps. Three contacts per account. Maybe five. But here’s the problem: Enterprise buying decisions don’t involve three people. Decision-making committees are larger. Influencers engage first. Senior decision-makers engage later. If you cap too tightly, you fill your quota with early-stage influencers - and miss the true decision-makers entirely. That weakens your message. And limits account penetration. Yes, coverage matters. But so does depth. If you’re targeting enterprise accounts, your strategy needs to reflect the reality of modern B2B buying: - Multiple stakeholders. - Longer cycles. - Layered influence. Broaden the lens. Map the account properly. Think committee - not contact. Because enterprise revenue isn’t won through caps. It’s won through coordinated influence.
- Headley MediaSince 9 Mar 2026
Your 3-contact cap is blocking your biggest advocates. If you fill your lead cap with three managers inside an enterprise account, what happens? You might not have reached: • The strongest pain point • The true internal influencer • The eventual brand champion And you almost certainly haven’t reached: • Finance • Procurement • HR • Senior leadership It's the hidden buyers. These are the people who may never speak to your sales team. But they will sit in the boardroom. They will influence the conversation. And they will help decide whether your technology gets signed off. Enterprise buying decisions are not small. They involve multiple stakeholders, different priorities, and very different motivations. - A finance leader doesn’t care about technical features. They care about cost, risk and ROI. - An operations leader cares about efficiency and time saved. - A digital transformation lead cares about long-term impact. If your targeting only hits three early-stage managers, you limit your influence before the real decision even begins. There’s a huge opportunity for marketing to: • Hone in on key accounts • Land and expand • Broaden footprint inside the business • Influence beyond the traditional ICP Because sometimes the most powerful advocate for your brand is someone who never fills out a form. And if your competitor is targeting the entire buying committee including hidden buyers, they’ll build more internal momentum than you will. Enterprise revenue isn’t about touching one contact. It’s about influencing the whole room.

On appelle ça marketing automation.

No segmento? - Guild - Real Estate MarketingRecorded 22 Sept 2026
The riskiest mix in real estate marketing? A large budget without the expertise to use it well. Firms can spend six or seven figures on campaigns and be left wondering why results aren't what they expected. Spend does not guarantee success. If problems exist in your team, strategy or setup - a big budget will only amplify them. That’s when damage spreads and you create the wrong impression at scale. A large budget with no clear direction will do worse than a small one with focus. The difference is not the cash, it’s how intelligently it’s used. So if you have resources to invest, get the right expertise behind you before pressing go.
- Guild - Real Estate MarketingRecorded 22 Sept 2026
Good real estate marketing is hard. It’s expensive. It takes time. It needs consistency. That’s the reality - and if you can’t accept it, you’re in the wrong game. Results don’t come easy in competitive markets like Dubai. We’ve had a few enquiries recently from newly established brokerages who think it’s going to be fast, cheap and simple. It’s anything but. Quick results from minimal spend used to work - maybe 10 years ago. But not now. And certainly not here. You can’t hack credibility in this market. You have to earn it. You need time, money, effort, and expertise. No two ways about it.

How can healthcare leaders effectively market telehealth services for stigmatized conditions, fostering trust, transparency and a measurable impact? In this episode, Neil Walker, VP of Growth at Oar Health, joins me to explore strategies to effectively market telehealth services for stigmatized healthcare conditions (e.g., alcohol use disorder and erectile dysfunction). This episode is timed to coincide with Sober October, a monthlong movement encouraging individuals to abstain from alcohol to improve their health and relationship with alcohol. Together, we discuss building credibility, reducing stigma, leveraging behavioral insights and optimizing campaigns for engagement and retention. Get practical tips like these: • Focus on solutions, not stigma Emphasize outcomes rather than the condition to connect with patients while maintaining credibility. • Build trust through transparency Leverage storytelling, medical advisors’ expertise and social proof to reinforce credibility and reduce patient hesitation. • Leverage behavioral insights Use micro-seasonality to optimize ad timing, CRM outreach and remarketing campaigns. • Measure what matters Track 3-month retention, cost of acquisition and cash management to evaluate marketing impact. • Innovate strategically Product launches, like Oar’s fast-acting “Clutch” medication, demonstrate how differentiated offerings can support marketing and patient engagement. Trust is the new B2B marketing currency. We know people buy from people. We know B2B sales are driven by mitigating risk, not seeking gain. In an AI world this becomes more critical than ever. Connecting a business to the faces behind it is a differentiator. It's a way to share real experiences, show people how you think, and build credibility in a way that can't be replicated. Food for thought if you’re a B2B founder or senior leader still sitting on the social media sidelines. There's always an excuse not to get started, but there's never been a more important time.

- heyB2BRecorded 22 Sept 2026
Warum? Weil egal was du anbietest. Keiner wird sich angesprochen fühlen. Also.

If you are a director or head of in Hospitality, I need you to call me! Why? Because Guestwise has game changing tech for revenue growth, and I hate cold calling people :). I love the relationship building, discussing the art of the possible and working with passionate people who want more. I don't enjoy introducing myself to people I don't know, it's scary and uncomfortable, and yet my team expects me to do it anyway. I was on the train to Birmingham to watch the cricket with a close friend who lived with me when I was building my first business in 2006. He watched me hammer the phones, email, and travel the country doing sales. He asked how much cold outreach I am doing for Guestwise. I was a bit embarrassed, as I said 'not a lot'. He gave me some not so gentle grief and asked why. It was a fair question. I've thought a lot about it in the time since, and I guess the honest answer is that I am 47, with a lovely family, good work life balance, great friends, great business, and I don't fancy myself as a carpet salesman. With Aden and the team, we have built one of the UK's leading AI platforms for marketing and sales automation, and I wish that alone was enough to get the phone ringing off the hook. But it's not - hence this post! As soon as I meet people in person, it changes... I'm energised, and want to do everything I can to help that potential customer win, or even just to share what works and what doesn't from insights I have picked up along the way. So do a guy a solid, don't make me look bad to my team, pick up the phone, DM me, tell me you want to work with Guestwise, and get me off the hook! I don't want to have to cold call you, or hammer your inbox, or walk up to you randomly at an industry event and try to sell you something. You folks are the best. 🙏

Building a startup feels a lot like assembling a rocket mid-flight... bolts rattling, fuel running low, and parts still untested. When Carey Benn and I first started Guestwise, 'To the Moon 🚀' began as a tongue-in-cheek reference to meme stocks and stonks culture... the kind of humour you cling to when you’re two founders trying to get something off the ground. But over time the joke evolved into a symbol of what we believe in. Not joke valuations or 'pump and dump'. But instead, something that is at the core of our DNA as two founders and part of our Guestwise culture. To us, “To the Moon” means three powerful things: - It's a shared journey. No one builds a rocket alone. Our progress depends on the people beside us: our team, our partners, and our customers. Every launch, every iteration, every small win happens together. - Be bold in your ambition. Carey and I didn’t leave stable jobs to build “just another platform.” We want to challenge the industry and help hospitality operators finally harness data and automation the way ecommerce has for years. - Everyone at Guestwise owns a piece of the rocket. There’s no “mission control” telling us what to do. We build it, fly it, fix it, and learn from every wobble on the way up, fostering true ownership and autonomy. It’s all about aiming high, making a real impact, and knowing that what we’re building actually matters to the people we serve. As we close out 2025, I'm excited to see where this rocket rides in 2026.
