What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever learned by doing? This one’s mine 👇 I thought I was about to enjoy a mint candy in a fancy restaurant. Turns out… it was a compressed napkin that unfolds when you pour hot water on it. 🍽️ Yes, I tried to eat it. 🤣 Yes, my team had the laugh of their lives. But here’s the thing: Curiosity doesn’t always look smart. It looks like trying, exploring, messing up and learning faster because of it. In leadership, in innovation, in life: Curiosity is the best strategy I know. Not because it’s efficient. Because it keeps us moving. Who can relate? #CuriosityDriven #LearnByDoing #InnovationCulture #TeamCulture #SelfAwareness

Most GTM leaders still think trust is built with a gated PDF and a lead form. Download → nurture → pitch. . . . Today, the real trust funnel lives in the feed. And it doesn’t take 47 touches across 19 emails and 3 retargeting ads. It takes about seven public posts to move someone from: Skeptic → Curious → Subscriber → Engager → Inbound → Shortlist → Champion. The sequence is structure: 𝟏. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭 → Break assumptions. 𝟐. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭 → Data, case, or lived example. 𝟑. 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭 → Show “how” not “what.” 𝟒. 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭 → A failure, lesson, or vulnerable insight. 𝟓. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐎𝐕 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭 → Frame the macro shift. 𝟔. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭 → Engage in dialogue, not monologue. 𝟕. 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭 → Show the bigger “why.” Gated PDFs. Salesy hooks. Overproduced webinars no longer work. Because buyers don’t convert after being “captured.” They convert after they’ve already decided you’re credible, useful, and human without you asking for their email address. Seven useful touches in public > Seventy spammy touches in private. #B2B #thoughtleadership #LinkedIn #GTM

“Great demos. Smart teams. Strong pipeline. Yet… deals stall. Again.” . . . . You’ve probably seen this pattern more than once. Leads look warm. The first call goes great. Then comes the silence. No replies. No decision. Just… drift. Why does this happen? In B2B, why the sales cycles are so long? In B2B, why the conversion ratio is so low? Because the buyer isn’t just evaluating your product/service. They’re evaluating your clarity, authority, and relevance. Let’s break it down: -> Your team sells features… but the buyer wants a vision. -> Your case studies are in PDFs… but the buyer wants real-time confidence. -> Your outreach is transactional… but the buyer seeks strategic partners. And most IT companies sound the same. They speak in frameworks, buzzwords, and deck slides. ❌ No one remembers the best PPT. ✅ They trust the one who helps them see the road ahead, not just the product on the table That’s where Thought Leadership flips the funnel. When your founders, delivery heads, or architects start owning the narrative... not with sales pitches but with insight, clarity, and foresight. the dynamic changes.... ✅ Prospects don’t just “check you out”; they follow you. ✅ The first call starts with “I’ve read your post on…”, not “Who are you?”. ✅ Deals stop stalling because trust was built before the pitch. This isn’t about more marketing. This is about leading conversations before they even enter your CRM. IT companies don’t lose deals because their solutions are weak. They lose them because their credibility is weak. The real moat isn’t your tech stack. It’s how you shape the conversation around it. #ThoughtLeadership #B2BMarketing #Sales #B2BSales

🔜 We have a date. The Demand Compass launches September 3rd. 🧭 Marcos Stu and I have spent the last year and a half building demand systems for B2B teams, watching the same pipeline problems show up over and over, and writing down everything we figured out along the way. This is that book. The core idea is simple but it changes how you think about everything: awareness and readiness are not the same axis. Every account in your market sits somewhere across both. Where they sit tells you the one move that fits. Not a campaign. Not a sequence. One move. Nobody talks about the real reason most outbound lists stall. It's not the script. It's not the sequence. It's not the subject line. 30 sales-ready leads sitting in HubSpot. Zero phone numbers between them. Not junk leads either, right title, right company size, already scored and ready. Reps just couldn't call a single one. We run every enrichment through a waterfall now, Prospeo first, whenever a contact record is missing a phone. Sent those 30 through it. All 30 came back with a working mobile, pushed straight into HubSpot. Reps were dialing that same afternoon. What made me trust the numbers enough to actually work them: most B2B mobile data is guessed at from patterns. Prospeo pulls close to 80% of its mobile data from real sources, email signatures, CRM records, not inference. The numbers also get tested against real call outcomes, so the ones that stop connecting get downgraded instead of sitting in the database forever looking valid. The lesson wasn't "write better copy." The bottleneck was never the messaging. It was whether the number in the field actually rang. If you've got a sales-ready list full of dead numbers, worth running it through Prospeo.io and seeing what comes back. — Hey I'm Marcos Stu Founder automaterevops.ai Clay Solutions Partner, Advanced Artisan

This week our marketplace grew 6x Next to 🇳🇱 you can now find backlinks and brand mentions from the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Poland, Denmark and Sweden. 14.000 sites, each one reviewed by hand over the past five years. 🇺🇸 US: by far the biggest supply, but also the most junk. Loads of sites built around one keyword that rank for nothing else. 🇩🇪 Germany: quality is there, but making deals can be a problem. Many publishers are vague about how long your link stays live. We only list sites with a fixed duration. 🇫🇷 France: great SEO metrics for most domains, but link profiles that are all over the place. Casino, crypto and fashion on the same domain. So this became our checklist for every site (steal it): 1) minimum traffic: 1,000+ organic visitors per month, and always check the year-on-year trend 2) ranks on multiple keywords, not one lucky hit 3) relevant profile: the sites linking to it actually match the topic, and so do the links themselves 4) fixed link duration: always get this agreed in the terms 5) cited by AI: does ChatGPT or Claude use the site as a source? That last one is new and getting more important every month. A mention on a site that AI models cite counts double: a link signal for Google and a shot at your brand showing up in AI answers. You can now filter in our backlink.nl platform on exactly that. Thinking about a new market? Drop it in the comments and I will help you get started!

“Digital advertising is broken,” says Rory Sutherland, and I partially agree. Broken might be harsh, but I do think that the obsession with short-term attribution means that media plans often miss the most important number, which is: how many net new customers did we win? Sutherland says, “The greatest form of marketing is to get somebody who wasn’t already planning on buying your product to pay full price for it.” Yet, as he goes on to say, “a lot of digital advertising convinces people who would have bought anyway to buy it a bit sooner and at a discount”. According to Google’s 2026 Language of Effectiveness study, “CTR was used by 71.6% of marketers as an effectiveness metric, but only 7.4% said it was one of senior stakeholders’ most important metrics.” 🙄 At AudienceQ, we believe that CMOs want to look past CTR and really measure incrementality, and that’s what we aim to help brands and agencies do, measure how their campiagns drove real world results. Experian published a research finding recently that should make every marketing and media professional sit up and take note. "Truthset’s independent study found that up to 51% of ad targeting data is inaccurate, with accuracy rates ranging between 32% and 69% across providers" Feels more like finger-in-the-air guesswork than data!? 🤷🏻♂️ You may say that I am biased, but the most accurate data is intent data, and the most accurate intent data is found in the real world. Consumers show their intent IRL all the time by the places they visit. For example, if you are selling furniture, then people who have recently visited furniture stores IRL are a good target for furniture - I mean, look at the image! Nobody is putting themselves through IKEA on a Sunday afternoon unless they really, really want furniture, right!? 😅 The in-real-life movement of people reveals their intent. Not only can you build an audience segment of people who have been to furniture stores, but you can also measure how many people who were exposed to your advertising went on to visit your own furniture store. Oh, and if the results we see at AudienceQ are anything to go by, it's significantly more accurate than 51%! 👀 AudienceQ | #LocationIntelligence #LocationData #OperationalIntelligence

AI Is remaking advertising and outcome-driven data is the new trust currency AI is advancing fast, but without high-quality data, smart models produce fast hallucinations, not real business results. This new article from The Outcome dives into how we can end the cycle. #AI #Advertising #DataTrust - Hallucinations vs. Accuracy: AI models fueled by clicks or views alone risk misleading conclusions. Deterministic purchase data offers a clearer path to real outcomes. - From Vanity Metrics to Decisions That Matter: Shift your optimization focus from surface-level engagement to sales-driven signals and reach better ROI. - Simulated Campaign Planning: What if you could ‘stress test’ audiences and creatives before spending? The article explores AI’s portfolio-style approach to planning. - Real-Time Causality: Real-time incrementality models win over delayed batch reporting, empowering faster, smarter media buys. - Conversational Advertising: Imagine an ad that feels like negotiation not broadcast. AI-powered personal agents could haggle based on your preferences and budget. - Why Transparency Matters: AI must come with guardrails: think ‘nutrition labels for decisions’ to keep trust intact in our systems. I’ve been relatively quiet on here lately because, well, things are changing. Fast. The latest shift? A steep decline in search and direct traffic since Google’s June 30 Core Algorithm Update. We’ve spent the last year talking about how generative search and LLMs will chip away at website traffic, but until now, the impact felt theoretical. Not anymore. This latest update rolled out AI Overviews across most searches. And since then, traffic has been in free fall, for organic and the catch-all, direct. We’re seeing the biggest impact on large content publishers, but smaller sites aren’t immune. So, what does it mean? Honestly, a lot. We’re entering a kind of SEO-stagflation. For some sites, impressions will rise while clicks fall. For others, impressions stay flat, but clicks still decline. Your ranking drops, and even if you hold position, the value of a click is shrinking. The percentage of influence a website has in the sales process—especially during discovery—is declining. That doesn’t make websites irrelevant. But it does suggest a shift. Websites as conversion points, not education hubs. And asking, “What replaces websites?” misses the point. Instead, it's a rethinking of what's actually important in the marketing cycle. Reach will drop. Engagement metrics won’t tell the full story. Intent will be measured in views and impressions, not clicks. Frequency will become the gold standard. Positioning will outweigh tactics and placements because everyone will have tactics and placements. Community is no longer a buzzword. It’s becoming the new distribution strategy. Weird times ahead. Probably good for the consumer. Definitely tough for marketers explaining this to CEOs and shareholders over the next few quarters. Hold on. It’s going to be fun.

Heute startet in Mainz der VKU - Verband kommunaler Unternehmen e.V. Stadtwerkekongress 2025. Unter dem Motto „Verstehen. Verbinden. As business growth drivers, CMOs know that growing brand equity through media investment is one of the most important levers to nurture. While modern CMOs & CFOs align on common business KPIs... The KPIs used to substantiate brand lift/favorability simply don't translate to real-world metrics a CFO craves. This is where much of the tension in media strategy lives. Marketers & agencies know in their souls the compounding value of equity building... but the current state of attribution is woefully inadequate in showing brand growth alongside CFO-friendly sales impact metrics. Awareness lift, favorability, equity, engagement, attention - they're seemingly incongruent with the P&L. This is now finally changing. With Attain, for the first time ever, you can see - in real time - how upper-funnel investment drives sales, household penetration, and market share growth. Not in a 50 page report delivered weeks post-campaign... But LIVE, instantly, continuously and actionably in-flight. With access to the most comprehensive firehose of real-time consumer purchase data in North America - Attain is transforming how campaigns across the funnel are planned, targeted, optimized, and ultimately proven to drive real-world business results - not proxy metrics. Just built a Claude skill that makes stop-motion ads. Paste any design you like. It steals the whole style. After many requests, here is the skill to download : https://lnkd.in/gwtMm2gq 👇 Here is what it does: You paste a reference image, or just a brief. ・It breaks the look down into an editable spec. ・It generates the on-brand stills with nano-banana-2. ・You approve the ones you like. ・It animates them into stop-motion with Seedance 2.0. The frame opens empty. The cut-out pieces slide in and snap into place. Everything runs in Claude through the Arcads connector, so you never juggle models. Your only job is taste. Paste a reference, pick the shots. No studio. No motion designer. No big budget. I'm giving the whole skill away.

Claude + Seedance 2.0 = a finished Vox-style ad. From one product link. After many requests, here is the skill : https://lnkd.in/eyen-4j3 In about 20 minutes. We wrapped the whole thing into a Claude skill anyone can run. 👇 Here's the flow: You paste a product or an offer. • It writes the voice-over like a direct-response marketer. • It storyboards clips with timestamps. • It gives you copy-paste prompts, one for each clip. Claude runs them with Arcads MCP. Seedance 2.0 renders the paper animation. You drop the voice-over on top. That's it. That's the ad. A week of motion design work, gone. We're giving the skill away for free.

Rachel at Canopy manages 6,000 influencers with just 2 people. Most brands feel like they need 20. Let that sink in. I talk to brands every week who think scaling creator programs means hiring a small army. Here's the playbook they *don't* see: - Rachel runs the whole show with two part-timers. - Increased website traffic by 2x - Team size? Didn't change. No new hires. - Saved 5 hrs/week just on manual reporting - Decreased time spent running influencer by 50% Not theory. Not hype. Here’s a direct quote from Rachel: “It would be almost impossible to manage that UGC and track that post-level data manually. It would be a lot of hours. Thanks to Archive, everything is related holistically in our marketing department.” Before Archive, they were lost in the manual grind: - Tracking posts by hand - Copy-pasting links - Endless spreadsheets Now? Archive automates the tracking, pulls in every post, and drops it into their dashboard. Metrics update in real-time. Rachel's team can actually *think*, instead of wasting hours on busywork. The result: - No burnout - No bloat - No need to find, train, and manage more people Most brands still believe more headcount = more impact. Wrong. The real unlock is leverage. Automate the grunt work, and small teams do giant things. Want to scale creator marketing without hiring? archive.com/demo How do you keep your team lean while scaling up? Let's chat.

In sponsorships, the bigger your brand is, the more f*cked you are. Because unlike most industries where capital equals leverage, here, the money makes you a target. Even the brands with the largest budgets often find themselves guessing about pricing, value, and fairness. Why? Because there is no centralized market, this results in a complete lack of pricing transparency. This gap creates an unusual power dynamic: When a well-known brand reaches out, the proposal often has an extra zero added to the price. Conversely, when a startup inquires, the pricing for the same assets is typically cut in half. Without market-wide context, buyers have no idea what others are paying or what they should be paying. This creates a system where brands unknowingly (and often) overpay. This makes it extremely challenging for a brand to "win" a deal, leaving them uncertain about whether they were screwed or not
- Text-onlyThe first 10 people I pitched Anvara to all said the same thing: “That’s not how this industry works.” Sponsorship runs on relationships. It always has. You’re not going to change that with a platform. They weren’t wrong about how the industry works. They were wrong about what that means. Yes, relationships matter. But right now, relationships are doing the job of infrastructure that doesn’t exist. People call each other because there’s no other way to find, compare, and buy sponsorship inventory. That’s not a feature of the industry. It’s a bottleneck. I kept hearing “that’s not how it works” and I kept asking: “But should it be?” Should a brand with a $500K budget have to know someone to find their first live event deal? Should a property with 50 sponsorable assets be limited to whoever their sales team already knows? Should 4-6 months of back-and-forth be the norm for closing a single deal? We’re a small team at Anvara and we don’t have all the answers yet. But I’d rather build the thing people say won’t work than accept a system that clearly isn’t working for most of the market.AnvaraRecorded 7 Sept 2026

If you're in multi-brand retail, you're probably watching members earn points but rarely redeem them. The problem: nearly half of consumers think it takes too long to earn rewards, and if they don't see value fast, they disengage completely. The average consumer belongs to 16.6 loyalty programs. How do you make yours worth remembering? The programs driving real engagement aren't just adding more points or deeper discounts. They're doing something fundamentally different. Here's what separates standout loyalty programs from forgettable ones: 🔹 They don't just reward transactions. They create experiences that build emotional connection. 🔹 They don't make members wait months for rewards. They get them to value faster with flexible earning and redemption. 🔹 They don't treat personalization as optional (62% of shoppers say generic experiences weaken brand loyalty). And the most successful programs? They're leveraging tactics that go beyond traditional points structures entirely. Want to see what's actually working? If you're in apparel, you're probably staring down a challenging holiday season with soaring acquisition costs and leadership demanding loyalty ROI. Throwing more points and perks at the problem would only make matters worse. So what to do? The good news is the most effective loyalty tactics don't require massive discounts. Recent insights from Concentrix reveal what's actually driving results right now: 🔹 Personalized segments that recognize behavior patterns, so you're not treating every member the same. 🔹 Tiered status that builds emotional connection (customers who feel recognized spend 2x more, and status costs you nothing). 🔹 Non-monetary perks like early access, exclusive content, and VIP experiences that protect your margins The winning approach? Test everything. Offer types, messaging, timing. Triple points often outperform percentage discounts and cost you less.
