SDRs and GTM Engineers and AEs are not the same. I still see teams hire SDRs and expect them to build the system too. They ask them to fix Clay tables, clean HubSpot, route signals, and maintain n8n workflows. Then they hire a GTM Engineer and ask why meetings are not getting booked. Both roles matter. They just own different parts of a modern AI-native outbound motion. We build this split for clients all the time, and the handoff needs to be clear. Step 1 → SDR is responsible for generating the meeting and the feedback loop ↳ Work Tier 1 accounts first and closely with the AE-s ↳ call, email, LinkedIn, and follow-up ↳ test angles and objections in real conversations (feed this back to the GTM Engineer) ↳ turn signal context into booked meetings (GTM Engineer creates this for him/her) Example: ↳ If an account engaged with content, visited pricing, and has a new VP, the SDR uses that context to cold call the lead + reach out Step 2 → GTM Engineers own system design and messaging that works for the SDRs and carry quota for automated outbound ↳ build ICP logic, scoring, and tiering ↳ connect Clay , HubSpot, Claude , Common Room, N8N, other tools ↳ set enrichment waterfalls and data rules, and govern the data with Ops ↳ route intent signals into the right sequence or rep queue ↳ audit what works and improve conversion paths and the full funnel Example: ↳ When 500 lookalike accounts are sourced through Clay, the GTM Engineer scores fit + signal, pushes Tier 1 into the SDR queue, and sends Tier 2 into nurture, Tier 3 for automated outreach. Contact and company fields created and updated in HS and SFDC, build new marketing/sales-related custom fields + dashboards Step 3 → Both roles work better with a clean boundary ↳ SDRs should spend time selling and testing new angles before automating these (or work closely with GTM engineers through growth sprints) ↳ GTM Engineers should build the engine and carry pipeline goals for programmatic motion, but act as true owners and enablers for SDRs to properly prospect high-value accounts. You can experiment a lot more effectivel + make the pipeline generation more predictable and repeatable when these experts work together and not against each other, so amplify each other's strengths. Save this for later when you revisit this with your team Comment "GTM team comparison" if you need this cheatsheet. P.S. If your team doesn't have the bandwidth or the expertise, we can help, and we work across your CRM, dashboard and sequencers and 1st/3rd party data by governing, automating, and activating it for sales use cases

Vercel replaced a 10-person sales team with 1 GTM engineer. Steps to become a wizard at AI (GTM) engineering (highest paid role of 2027): 1/ Open Claude code 2/ Have it researched your site, your customers, and top competitors 3/ Ask it which GTM workflows to build first + why with expected effort and outcomes 4/ Drop those prompts into Apollo, or build the workflows with Clay + Claude 5/ Use this roadmap and do this 10x and upskill yourself. That's the playbook. One engineer who has strong commercial results and acumen with an achiever mentality, plus a few thoughtful AI agents, now does the work that used to take 10 (and the gap only widens from here...) The next great GTM hire isn't a rep. Nor a project manager or a team lead. It's someone who can build this. That is exactly why we built our AI Agent Builder roadmap, job board, and courses. Find all these resources in the first comment 👇 Save this + reposts so others can upskill themselves. P.S.: No shameless plug - if you have a course, drop it in the comments.

One of the biggest reasons retailers now work with us is how we fit so seamlessly across their tech stack! We've quietly built a whole suite of integrations that help run smarter offers: 📧 CRMs - capture emails and any custom fields when an offer is claimed 📱 SMS providers - collect phone numbers for targeted follow-ups 🎖️ Loyalty platforms - automatically credit loyalty points for verified groups 🛍️ Ecom platforms - add personalised offer experiences in just a few clicks ✨ Personalisation platforms - deliver custom on-site experiences for different groups. 🔄 Webhooks & Zapier - push verified information into any platform Each integration enables retailers to own their customer relationships. Helping us maintain a clear competitive edge over discount marketplaces that position themselves between brands and their shoppers 💪

Most student discounts today look like this: 🔸 10% off, shown to everyone 🔸 A lonely banner in the nav 🔸 No control over who sees what, or when 🔸 No connection to CRM or loyalty tools 🔸 No performance reporting 🔸 Just... running in a silo Retailers are starting to realise this isn’t strategic. They want to run smarter, more integrated offers - with real targeting, visibility, and control. That’s exactly where we’re focused. And the feature set we’re building is nailing it 💥

Confiança constrói marcas e entrega resultados no B2B. Not all growth agencies become part of your team. But when they do, you’ll know the difference…🧠 One of our amazing clients, Rahat A. (from Retain International), recently shared his thoughts about Growth Division in an interview with us. What stood out to me most was that he described seeing our team as an extension of his own — and this is exactly the kind of feedback that never gets old… Especially when we’re working across multiple growth channels, adapting quarter by quarter, and assembling specialist teams to support each new challenge. That’s the power of the GD model: ✅ Access to vetted growth experts on demand ✅ Flexibility to scale teams up or down ✅ Built-in communication and structure so nothing slips through the cracks ✅ A bespoke approach for every startup we work with It’s not about offering services. It’s about plugging in the right people at the right time — and becoming an engine for startup growth. Big thanks again to Rahat for the kind words — and for trusting us with your team’s growth journey! 💪 🎥 Check out his testimonial below 👇 ------------------ Need help hiring an expert? 🤔 👉Drop me a message or visit Growth Division to find out more about our amazing community of digital marketing specialists: https://lnkd.in/dMHztsxr

I’ve narrowed down the channel mix for over 200 startups. Here are five mistakes to avoid when choosing yours: Testing too many channels at once → Test 3-6 channels at once. Any more and you’ll spread yourself too thin and not be able to draw meaningful conclusions about what’s actually working. It’s better to give a channel your all, and cut it down the line if it’s not adding value. Only following what your competitors are doing → Competitor activity can be a good marker that a channel is workable, but try to save space for a wildcard that could pay off big. Rushing into the channel mix before the basics are in place → Don’t start this step before you know the essentials. What does your customer journey look like? Are you confident you have product-market fit? Not considering the blend → Think about how your channels will work together and strengthen each other, and when each is likely to pay off. Thinking these are your ‘forever channels’ → Every channel should be framed as an experiment. If, after months of testing, you’re confident that it’s not working for you, it’s time to pull the plug and test something else. If you’d like to know how I approach choosing the channel mix for a new startup, I’ve written up my process, including the 54 questions I ask across 20 potential channels. https://lnkd.in/dhfks4Qc

Which marketing effort is actually making us money? That’s the question most decision-makers ask themselves but rarely get a clear answer from their team. What they don’t realize is that their team doesn’t have the right tools to answer that question. Most marketing teams still rely on outdated tracking systems like: • Google Tag Manager • Facebook & Google Pixels • Google Analytics 4 The problem? These tools are being blocked by Safari, which prevents your team from getting the data they need to accurately measure ROI. Want to know if your tracking is being blocked too? 👉 Type “BLOCKING” in the comments, and I’ll send you a free link to a tester that scans your website and shows you if your tracking is getting blocked.

The biggest Scam in B2B Marketing...CPL. Marketers celebrate them like trophies, until they realize 70% of those “leads” are junk. For one of our clients, we ran PMax campaigns that looked great on paper: ✅ 1,967 leads in 45 days ❌ but CPQL was 3X than CPL So we asked Google Ads MCP (connected with HubSpot MCP): “For the leads generated in the last 45 days, give insights and optimizations to reduce junk.” Within minutes, it analyzed everything and gave 4 clear solutions. One clicked immediately. 💡 It spotted that most junk came from users selecting 0–10 or 1000+ employees on the landing page form. Our guess? Those were just the first and last dropdown options. We stopped sending those conversions back to Google. Two weeks later: 📈 CPL ↑ 15% 💥 CPQL ↓ 60% Simple fix. Massive impact. The GrowthSpree + Zipeline ecosystem is turning minor optimizations into significant revenue shifts. Adoption still takes time, but the results speak for themselves. Check us out! 🥁GrowthSpree has a new address… again. 🥁 🤩 Our second new address within 12 months. We actually moved here in March this year, so this post is way overdue, but when I walked into the office today, something hit me. A feeling I am unable to explain; a mix of happiness and...fear. The bigger rooms. The buzz. The energy. The tiny moments that make a space feel alive. It suddenly struck me how far we’ve come — from a small setup… to this. More conference rooms. Proper calling booths. And even a small rec corner (with a Meta batt I still haven’t tried 😂🎮). But the real upgrade? The people. The culture. The feeling of building something meaningful together. ❤️🔥 I’m genuinely proud of what this team has created. It’s surreal, in the best way possible. But yes, there’s also that whisper of fear: “Can we keep this momentum going?” 😬 But standing in that space today (only my third visit), I realized something: If we’ve grown this fast together… I’m excited and slightly nervous to see where we go next. 🚀🌟 Here’s to the new GrowthSpree - Growth Partners For B2B SaaS: Bigger, better, louder, and still just getting started. 💛🔥 PS: If you are traveling to Delhi NCR, please do come and work from our office!

Anyone see Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff’s tweet following Google’s Gemini 3 launch? 👀 “I’m not going back” captures the excitement of the moment, but Gemini 3 makes something very clear: the race between language models is only getting started. And if the past year has shown us anything, it's this: 𝗡𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. Models are evolving so quickly that the best choice for each type of marketing content can shift in a matter of weeks. For marketers, the future is not about betting on one model. It is about having access to the best combination of models and routing work to the right one at the right moment. As a marketer, this is why I am so bullish on Jasper’s LLM-optimized approach. We continually split test across models and incorporate real-time user behavior to identify which one performs best for each type of marketing content. That way, customers always get the strongest output without chasing every shift in the market or switching vendors whenever something new launches. For enterprises and marketing teams, this is the real challenge. It is no longer “Which model should we pick?” It is “How do we maintain consistent, high-quality output when models are constantly changing and every team is using something different?” This is the moment where orchestration and alignment matter. The moment where intelligence has to sit above the tools, not inside a single one. And with the introduction of our MCP server, alongside our LLM-optimized approach, that is exactly the layer we are building at Jasper — so brands can scale content confidently no matter where marketing content is being generated or how fast the model race accelerates.

AI visibility tools “measure” fantasy, not reality. They are measuring something that doesn't exist in the way they claim. In this article we’ll show you the findings of our hands-on, head-to-head AI visibility tool test. We ran the same prompts across multiple platforms. We manually verified the results. We analyzed the recommendations. This included a standardized set of prompts across each tool in multiple runs, looking at internal consistency, comparability across platforms, and results of manual queries in Google AI Mode, Google AI Overview, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. Each prompt represented a different stage of the funnel: - “Best accounting software for small business” for TOFU. - “QuickBooks alternatives” for MOFU. - “FreshBooks pricing” for BOFU. Our analysis largely focused on results for FreshBooks, but we also gathered data for competitor brands, like QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Wave, and Kashoo. The results confirmed our hypothesis: the data provided by these tools is inconsistent, often inaccurate, and a poor reflection of real-world LLM behavior. - Key finding 1. High variance across results for the same brands and prompts - Key finding 2: Discrepancies with manual verification And my favorite? - Key finding 3: Generic, unactionable, contradictory recommendations
- Text-onlyMisusing content is such a waste. And I’m not even talking about the waste in budget, human resources, or time. I’m talking about the waste that comes from delayed progress while simultaneously BSing yourself into thinking that you’re doing well. I mean come on, what do follower growth and Likes have to do with what your clients genuinely care about? You’re not in the consumer business, and you’re not a content creator hoping to score sponsorships and brand deals. So what are we doing here really? If we are serious about building sustainable businesses, then we need real demand, not “feel good vibes” (which is what you get if you keep following social media superstars and their advice). Content is so valuable in B2B. But we really need digital maturity as founders, so we can discern what content should do in the spaces we play in. The 'hype' around internet virality is now stabilizing; hopefully, we can also finally stabilize the hype around content and the role it should play in our business strategy. --- #b2bcontentmarketing #contentmarketingstrategy #b2bstartupsGBB MediaSince 6 Apr 2026
- Text-onlyIf you need sales this month, LinkedIn posting for visibility is pretty much the wrong move. I know that’s not what people want to hear, but it must be said. Founders assume (after watching Gary, Alex, or someone else they admire) that they have a content problem. Yes, you do have a content problem, and a content plan ought to be included in your overall business strategy. But the bigger problem that a B2B startup founder faces is: Access Think with me… When someone says, “We need leads urgently.” What they often mean is: “We don’t have enough conversations with the right people.” And instead of fixing that, they decide to hire a social media manager to: • post more • write newsletters • build an audience Because it feels like progress. It isn’t. Content doesn’t create urgency, it doesn’t create timing, and certainly doesn't create that moment where someone decides: “I need to solve this now.” That moment already exists for your buyer when a project opens, or something breaks, or a deal catches fire, and someone starts to feel the pressure. That’s when the buying trigger happens. If you’re not close to those moments, posting won’t get you there fast enough. What actually works when you need sales now: 1. Go back to people you already know. 2. Follow up on conversations that went quiet. 3. Reach out to people who are already in motion. 4. Get into rooms where things are happening. Then use LinkedIn properly as a way to: a. stay visible b. show you understand the problem c. demonstrate how you approach solving the problem they are currently trying to solve Posting helps when there is already proximity. Without that, it’s just broadcasting into a very big ocean. If you’re selling in a high-trust, high-stakes environment, don't conflate the role of LinkedIn. Content is important, and it does drive pipeline, when the purpose and plan are clearly mapped out. ---- #B2Bmarketing #Contentmarketing #B2BContentmarketing #LinkedInmarketingGBB MediaSince 21 Apr 2026

My brother Rasmus (CEO of Genero) said something interesting yesterday. 🧠 “What I hope will happen in the near future with the help of AI is that budgets will no longer be the bottleneck. Creativity will be the limit.” I think this is very likely to happen soon. Think about what that actually means. For decades, marketing has been a game of who has the biggest budget. Who can afford to produce more? Distribute more. Reach more. AI is changing that equation fast. When the cost of production moves toward zero, that advantage shifts. It will no longer be about who has the deepest pockets. Rather, those who have the best ideas and the sharpest brand strategy to execute them. At Genero, we’ve been building for this shift in two specific areas: 𝗚𝗘𝗢 — as users move from Google to AI-powered answer engines, being found requires a completely new approach. We’re helping brands get cited and recommended by AI — not just indexed. To win here, you need a clear brand strategy and great content. 𝗔𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 — scaling quality content used to be slow and expensive. We’re helping brands produce more relevant content, faster, without losing the creative edge that makes it worth reading. 6 months ago, AI content was of poor quality. Today, you will not even notice what is AI-generated. To win here, you need the Art Director know-how. The Art Director of the future will be an Art Prompt Director. The question is: If you could execute any idea instantly, do you have a big idea worth executing? The tools are being democratised. The budgets are becoming secondary. The only thing that matters now is the quality of your thinking. Are you ready for that?

Most brands think of paid social as a simple equation: spend money -> get clicks -> hope people buy. FTL Bags added something most paid teams overlook - engagement as a fuel source. They added a single CTA to their best-performing Meta ads: "Comment for a VIP discount." When someone did, Pinpoint automatically sent them $40 off via DM. That comment CTA did two things at once. It converted commenters directly inside DMs. And it sent a strong engagement signal to Meta, which rewarded the ads with cheaper delivery and broader reach. More eyeballs for less money, with an additional conversion path running on top. The results: 57% higher ROAS. 31% lower CPA. 17% cheaper CPC. Same creative. Same audience. One extra layer.
