80% of experiments won’t move the needle. Most startups think they’re one clever A/B test away from unlocking growth, but the math tells a different story. Only 20% of growth experiments ever produce meaningful impact, but the issue is that most teams don’t actually know which 20% they’ve already found. But without structure, everything gets lost: ● Results live in random docs or presentations ● Learnings aren’t shared ● Teams repeat the same tests months later That’s where the real opportunity lies, not in running more experiments, but in learning faster from the ones that work. At GrowthEX, we built a platform to help teams do exactly that: ✔ Track and prioritise experiments using ICE framework ✔ Identify which ones are successful based on your variable metric ✔ Systematise what actually drives results Because growth comes from knowing which tests are worth repeating.

I’ve narrowed down the channel mix for over 200 startups. Here are five mistakes to avoid when choosing yours: Testing too many channels at once → Test 3-6 channels at once. Any more and you’ll spread yourself too thin and not be able to draw meaningful conclusions about what’s actually working. It’s better to give a channel your all, and cut it down the line if it’s not adding value. Only following what your competitors are doing → Competitor activity can be a good marker that a channel is workable, but try to save space for a wildcard that could pay off big. Rushing into the channel mix before the basics are in place → Don’t start this step before you know the essentials. What does your customer journey look like? Are you confident you have product-market fit? Not considering the blend → Think about how your channels will work together and strengthen each other, and when each is likely to pay off. Thinking these are your ‘forever channels’ → Every channel should be framed as an experiment. If, after months of testing, you’re confident that it’s not working for you, it’s time to pull the plug and test something else. If you’d like to know how I approach choosing the channel mix for a new startup, I’ve written up my process, including the 54 questions I ask across 20 potential channels. https://lnkd.in/dhfks4Qc

Not all growth agencies become part of your team. But when they do, you’ll know the difference…🧠 One of our amazing clients, Rahat A. (from Retain International), recently shared his thoughts about Growth Division in an interview with us. What stood out to me most was that he described seeing our team as an extension of his own — and this is exactly the kind of feedback that never gets old… Especially when we’re working across multiple growth channels, adapting quarter by quarter, and assembling specialist teams to support each new challenge. That’s the power of the GD model: ✅ Access to vetted growth experts on demand ✅ Flexibility to scale teams up or down ✅ Built-in communication and structure so nothing slips through the cracks ✅ A bespoke approach for every startup we work with It’s not about offering services. It’s about plugging in the right people at the right time — and becoming an engine for startup growth. Big thanks again to Rahat for the kind words — and for trusting us with your team’s growth journey! 💪 🎥 Check out his testimonial below 👇 ------------------ Need help hiring an expert? 🤔 👉Drop me a message or visit Growth Division to find out more about our amazing community of digital marketing specialists: https://lnkd.in/dMHztsxr

You don’t have a marketing problem; you have a sequencing problem. Early-stage founders want leads, so they jump to channels, but without a strategy built on insight, it’s just guesswork. We’ve worked with 130+ startups at Growth Division, and, unfortunately, far too many of them skip straight to the tactics before they’ve locked down the fundamentals. Instead of asking: “Who’s our customer?” “What pain are we solving?” “What signal proves it’s working?” They ask: “What’s the best channel right now?” “Should we do paid or organic?” “Is our messaging good enough yet?” But the thing is: rushed inputs = stalling growth. A better starting point would look more like this: 1. Target market clarity – one segment, one pain, one big opportunity 2. Strategic insight – interviews, data, pattern recognition 3. Feedback loop – test, learn, adapt 4. Foundations – positioning, offers, brand 5. Only then… do you scale channels You don’t need to nail marketing on day one. You need to run the right playbook, in the right order. ------------------ Need help hiring an expert? 🤔 👉Drop me a message or visit Growth Division to find out more about our amazing community of digital marketing specialists: https://lnkd.in/eTwYm2Nn

If you couldn’t run ads, post content, or build a brand, how would you grow your startup? Imagine marketing is completely off the table. No funnels. No email flows. No content calendar. No paid channels. What would you do? Most early-stage founders default to marketing for growth, but if you strip that away, you’re left with the raw fundamentals. ✅ A product that solves a sharp, specific problem ✅ 1:1 conversations with people who feel that pain ✅ A few strategic partnerships that get you in the right rooms ✅ Your personal network (and how well you’ve nurtured it) ✅ Manual hustle to land your first 10–20 customers These are the levers that actually move the needle early on. Not SEO. Not a viral video. Not brand. Sometimes the best thing you can do is take “marketing” off the table, because it forces clarity. So here’s the challenge → If you couldn’t market your product, how would you still grow it? ------------------ Need help hiring an expert? 🤔 👉Drop me a message or visit Growth Division to find out more about our amazing community of digital marketing specialists: https://lnkd.in/dMHztsxr
