If I was in sales at a make-to-order manufacturer, here is the Agentic AI I would want to make my day much more productive: ⚡ The agent that let’s you come prepared I still talk to sales people who walk into a meeting only to be blindsided by a 2-week-old unresolved service ticket or a piece of news he or she missed. I would request an AI agent that scans every open ticket and recent news about the client and brief me on my way to my meeting. No more awkward "I didn't know that" moments and no more opening of multiple systems to ‘stitch’ together pieces of information manually. ⚡The agent sales coach As a technical seller, you may geek out on the specs of your product when you should be talking business. We shouldn’t practice on our customers. We should use an AI coach to roleplay with—one that acts like a tough procurement officer. It should call me out when I’m focused on the "how it works" instead of the "how much it saves." ⚡ The agent that points at patterns most people miss Most sales I meet do not have time to bring data together in the hopes of finding something to work with. I want an agent that spots patterns I miss—like a lead downloading a specific part manual three times in 48 hours. I want the AI to tell me: "Call them now, they may be going to have a breakdown." ⚡The post-event follow-up agent We all know the "post-trade show fatigue." A stack of business cards and a week of data entry. I want an agent that processes my scanned leads instantly, sends personalized technical whitepapers based on my input, and updates the CRM without me having to worry about this. Most sales enjoy the time with their customers more than the admin work that is often required. With well thought out agents, they can spend less time being a secretary and more time being an advisor to your customers. Your tools should make it simpler, luckily with Salesforce AI and Agentforce you can do just that. What would you have your agent do? Let me know your biggest frustration in the comments 👇

You are spending way too much time debating which CRM to select and WAY too little time on everything else. I see so many wasted hours go into CRM selection processes. Sitting through demo's, checking of requirements that majority of tools support. After 18+ years in the space, I know the technology doesn't matter nearly as much as the other components of a successful CRM program: 👉 Business case instead of wishlists: Work backwards from actual impact to be created within your business. Align your needs to your ultimate objectives. 👉 Process over functionality: Design the customer journey and the way of working first. If you do not agree on the customer experience, the process and the definitions, you will less likely achieve your objective. 👉 Data hygiene from day one: A CRM without clean data is losing the trust of your users directly after go-live. Check back 12 months after and nobody feels the system and its data accurately reflects reality. 👉 Adoption is not an afterthought: If the team doesn't see the value, the system becomes an administrative burden instead of a steering instrument. The business change is 80% of your success, be ready to spend 80% of your time there. Select a great tool, a great partner and start working on your change. You will get 💯 times the result.

Was kostet eigentlich eine Eingangsrechnung? (Spoiler: Zu viel.)

Digitalisierungs-Erfolg hängt massgeblich vom Einbezug aller Mitarbeitenden ab.

Most retail teams I talk to are still forecasting inventory in spreadsheets and quietly losing money on both ends: stockouts on the fast movers, cash tied up in overstock on the slow ones. We rebuilt that process with AI agents. The result on a recent retail platform: 94.3% forecast accuracy across 15,200 SKUs, stockout rate down to 2.1%, and replenishment decisions that run without a planner babysitting a sheet. No new headcount. Same team - just no longer doing by hand what a system does better. If your demand planning still lives in Excel, the case study is worth 5 minutes 👇 https://lnkd.in/efWA_-3y #RetailTech #AIforecasting #SupplyChain #InventoryManagement

Board says "we need an AI agent." Nobody asks which problem it should solve. Wrong order. I've done this twice — Artjoker and CallChecker. The first agent that delivered ROI wasn't the most ambitious. IT PASSED 4 TESTS 𝟭. 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝟮𝟬+ 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 High volume + repetitive = right candidate. Judgment-heavy + low frequency = not ready. 𝟮. 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 One number. Handle time. Error rate. Cost per unit. No before state = no way to prove it worked. 𝟯. 𝗔 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 Wrong routing = one bad call. Fine. Wrong compliance output = not fine. Start where errors are cheap. 𝟰. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 Not "the team." A name. No owner = quiet degradation for months before anyone notices. CALLCHECKER. First agent: Call classification and routing. 14,000 calls/day · measurable · recoverable · one owner. 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝟰𝟬% 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲. Next agents shipped faster — real data beats assumptions. The 4 tests almost always point to the same thing: 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 — 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯. That's what removes a cost line. Not just saves time. Sequence is the strategy.

One page. One owner. Fifteen dollars a seat. That's what AI governance actually costs a mid-market company. The enterprise version of the conversation is what scares everyone off. Enterprise AI governance reads like audit committees, a chief AI officer, and a six-figure GRC platform. Leaders at a 200-person company skim that and file the whole topic under "not us yet." Meanwhile: three Copilot Studio agents in production, a Power Apps approval bot, Power Automate flows touching customer data, and someone in sales pasting contract language into a public LLM. Same governance gap an enterprise has. Less margin to absorb the incident when it surfaces in an audit or a board meeting. Closing it takes four things. A one-page acceptable-use policy. What's allowed, what's not, which tools are approved. A single named owner for AI risk. Usually the CIO or CFO, wherever the spend lives. An inventory of which agents exist and what data they touch. A spreadsheet is a fine start. The Microsoft controls you already license, turned on: Entra Conditional Access, Purview DLP, and Agent 365 at $15 per user per month for centralized agent visibility and audit trail. That set closes about 80% of what actually shows up in mid-market audits. Agent 365 GA: https://lnkd.in/egnGPu3Z The board question is coming either way. It's cheap to be ready for it.

We don’t talk about this enough in IT leadership. Simon Reiter was candid on Things. Reasons. about stress, wellbeing and the importance of managing it deliberately — not just blasting through. I’ve always said that in our industry, pressure was treated like part of the job. High performance often meant ignoring how you felt and just pushing harder. Simon flipped that. The companies that actually ship AI all start in a similar way. And it has nothing to do with a strategy deck. It's pretty straightforward.. They get the right people in a room for half a day. We've run these sessions dozens of times now. Business leaders, process owners, technical team. One focused conversation. Walk out with 3-5 real AI use cases ranked by impact and effort. Most companies get further in that half day than they did in six months of internal discussions. From there, we take the top use cases into an Innovation Hub session with Microsoft. Small group, 8-10 people. Map the architecture, identify where to start, and figure out what to build on top of it. As a Microsoft Partner with the AI Apps on Azure Specialization, we also help qualifying projects tap into Microsoft funding incentives. This can be a game changer, allowing our customers to get a taste and feel for a funtional POC without having to foot the enitre bill to even see what's possible. Most companies don't need an AI strategy. They need a starting point, a partner who's done it, and knows how to go from ideation to successful deployment and adoption. You'd be amazed what a 30-minute call that starts with "we want to do something with AI" can turn into 60 days later.

Only 5% of companies get real ROI from AI. Banks and insurers are no exception. I talk to BFSI leaders across DACH every week. Most have the same problem: the pilot works, but it never scales. The reason is rarely the AI. It's the foundations underneath. Our AI and data experts broke this down in a 50-minute webinar—the 4 pillars that make AI scale: Strategy. Data. Execution. Trust. Plus a real banking case: AI agents that cut underwriting from hours to minutes. If your AI is stuck, watch it.
