Congrats Sam Ross and Matt DuVall! These guys have come a long way. Stoked to see the news that they’ve raised $100M. Numeral is crushing. For a long time, brands like ours were forced to pay insane fees for very bad service; Numeral has basically raised the bar in the space single-handedly... If you're not on Numeral, you absolutely need to be. Happy to have been a #partner/ad -and customer - since the early days. 3500+ customers later... they are still great to work with!

I’m always bullish about how Stablecoins can improve cross-border payments and create an alternative to traditional bank channels. But working in the South African market for the past two years had made me realise that actually fiat bank payments still have a key role to play in certain contexts. It is operationally simpler for a lot of real economy clients to pay invoices via banks, especially in an environment of capital controls. Legacy solutions for this flow have typically been pretty slow and clunky. This is why I'm delighted to say that Crisscross and the Stitch Group have gone live with our cross-border invoice payment solution in South Africa. For South Africa based clients of the Stitch group, paying an international invoice is now genuinely simple. Deposit ZAR, we handle the FX and the regulatory reporting, funds arrive at T+0 or T+1. Here's what that looks like in practice: - One API integration for foreign payouts - T+0 or T+1 settlement - Competitive FX rates with full transparency - Compliance and reporting handled, not handed off If you’d like to talk cross-border payments in South Africa or beyond, please give me a shout. Day 2 at Sibos in Miami. After two days of great conversations with banks, fintechs, PSPs, partners and customers, one thing is becoming very clear: crypto infrastructure is moving rapidly up the strategic agenda of financial institutions. Wallets, custody, tokenization, stablecoins… these are no longer side experiments. They’re becoming core infrastructure topics. And stablecoins in particular are everywhere at Sibos; alongside agentic payments and the broader transformation of cross-border payments. Timing matters enormously when you launch a new product. And with Heron, I believe we got the timing right. We started building in mid-2025. Sixteen months later, the team has executed with incredible discipline and efficiency to launch what we believe is a unique stablecoin orchestration platform built around three pillars: → Fiat-facing infrastructure → Global coverage, aggregating 65+ on/off ramps → Native integrations with TMS and ERP systems And now the volumes are starting to follow. Based on the customers currently being onboarded, we expect to reach $1B+ in monthly transaction volume flowing through the Heron platform and our partners’ rails within the next six months. Still a lot to build, but the direction of travel is becoming clearer every day. Excited about what comes next. I’ll still be at Sibos for the next two days, if you’re around Miami, feel free to reach out. Would be great to connect. #Sibos2026 #Stablecoins #Payments #Fintech #DigitalAssets #CrossBorderPayments

What an incredible few days at Stablecon 2026. It felt like the entire stablecoin ecosystem was there. 🇺🇸 We spent the week reconnecting with friends and partners, meeting new people, and having thoughtful conversations with builders across the US market. A big thank you to Ashley D. Johnston, Jason Landrum, Chris Bair, Ivailo Slatev, Chris Jackson, Ashton Simmons, Pavel Kashuba, Matthew DiCristofaro, Maria Sofia Torzillo, José Nuño, and so many others who took the time to meet with us, share their perspectives, and tell us what they’re building. One thing came through clearly in almost every conversation: The US market is ready for stablecoin-powered payments. But there is still an important gap. Enterprises need stablecoin infrastructure that fits into their existing processes, treasury structures, and operational requirements. They don’t want to become crypto companies. They want the speed, efficiency, and reach of stablecoins — without having to completely rethink how their finance and payment operations work. That is exactly the problem we’re building Heron to solve. Fiat in → stablecoin rails → fiat out. Stablecon gave us the opportunity to introduce Heron to the US market. More importantly, it gave us the opportunity to listen. We’re coming back with a long list of conversations to follow up on, new ideas to explore, and even stronger conviction in what we’re building. Thank you, Stablecon. See you again soon. 🇺🇸 #Stablecon #StableLaunch #Stablecoins #Payments #Fintech #EnterprisePayments #Heron

Three of the biggest brokerage technology decisions are usually made separately: the trading platform, liquidity bridge and liquidity provider. That means separate setup, more integration points and multiple costs from day one. The cTrader + cBridge + cFinancial bundle brings all three together: 🔹cTrader for the trading experience 🔹cBridge for aggregation, routing and operational control 🔹cFinancial for institutional liquidity The combined setup fee is reduced from $11,000 to $5,000.The estimated first invoice starts from $12,000. I am thrilled to share this landmark news: on 1st October 2026, CACEIS will become Crédit Agricole CACEIS. By adopting the same corporate visual identity as Crédit Agricole, we are building a stronger and more cohesive brand presence. It will enable us to benefit from our shareholder’s widespread name awareness and excellent reputation across global markets. In this move to align our company with our shareholder’s branding, we are confirming our position as the Crédit Agricole’s specialised asset servicing division. By aligning with the instantly recognisable Crédit Agricole name and visual elements, we are also joining closer with the vast international network of our sister companies in other financial sectors. Our clients around the world will continue to receive the same high quality of servicing they have come to expect. Wherever they are, they can count on full continuity of services with no material impact on existing contractual agreements or any other aspect of our business relationship. For our staff, we are now driving forward under one powerful and unified banner, where the future taking shape with the colours and ethics of the green bank. This new brand identity is a decisive step in our corporate strategy. I believe it will enable our group to achieve the ambitious business development objectives for asset servicing detailed in Crédit Agricole’s ACT 2028 medium-term plan. A new name for a shared success story ahead. I am truly looking forward to growing our business together with our staff and our clients.

If you had to map out who is shaping payments in Latin America today, who would you put in each category? Here’s how I would look at it. Cards: Visa and Mastercard - The global networks are still behind a huge part of consumer payments across the region. Digital banking: Nubank - It showed that a bank could be built around the smartphone first and then scaled across multiple Latin American markets. Wallets & acquiring: Mercado Pago - It helped bring digital wallets and QR payments to millions of merchants, including many that had never relied on traditional card acceptance. But there is another category that I think is becoming increasingly important. Cross-border QR & real-time payments: Depay - This is a very different problem. The local payment rails already exist in most major markets. Pix in Brazil, SPEI in Mexico, PSE and Bre-B in Colombia, Yape and Plin in Peru, and many others. The hard part is making all of these systems work together across borders. A wallet in one country should eventually be able to scan a local QR in another country without the user needing to understand which payment rail is sitting behind it. That is where the next layer of payment infrastructure is being built. What I find interesting is how quickly this market is evolving. Latin America spent years building strong domestic payment ecosystems. Now the focus is gradually shifting from local connectivity to regional connectivity. Over the next few years, cross-border payment infrastructure will become one of the most competitive parts of the LATAM fintech stack. The winners may not be the companies building another wallet or another payment rail. They may be the ones connecting the rails that already exist. What vertical is missing from this map, and who do you think is shaping it? #fintech #payments #LATAM

The Utilities sector has long been regarded as highly sensitive to Treasury yields. With the 10-year Treasury yield above 5%, rate-adjusted valuations appear stretched, as dividend yields struggle to compete with the risk-free benchmark. Yet valuations have remained surprisingly resilient. This stickiness may reflect a fundamental shift in how the sector is perceived. Surging AI-driven power demand has begun to recast Utilities from an income play into a growth story. PEG ratios offer a growth-adjusted perspective on valuation, one that appears increasingly compelling. We estimate CFRA-covered Utilities could deliver an ~8.1% five-year EPS CAGR as data-center demand pushes earnings expectations higher. At CFRA Research, our thematic research is built to spot shifts like this early: structural changes that reshape a sector before they show up in consensus thinking. Rates still matter, but they no longer tell the whole story. I break this down in my latest thematic research report. In a few weeks, I'll be speaking at the CECE Congress 2026 Economic Forum about what ageing equipment fleets can tell us about where the market is heading. I've spent many years looking at construction equipment, including from the asset management side. What a machine is worth, how it behaves across its lifecycle, when it makes sense to hold and when it makes sense to replace, these aren't abstract questions for me. They're the ones I work through with manufacturers, dealers and customers every day. That's the lens I'll be bringing to the Economic Forum. If you're attending, I'd welcome the chance to hear your thoughts on where the market is today, and where it’s heading. #ConstructionEquipment #AssetManagement #EquipmentFinance #CECE #CECECongress2026

Human in the loop is still critical for every firm trading on an institutional basis. I spoke with Gareth Coltman, head of products for EMEA and APAC at MarketAxess, on the Capital Markets Fintech Forum podcast ahead of FILS Europe next week . Gareth describes traders moving from the dealers they usually call to whoever is most likely to price the risk right now. He sees AI and machine learning as the way to answer that. On data, the hard part is cleaning it, aggregating it and getting the result into the traders workflow in a form they can use. On AI adoption, Gareth sees agents being used to simulate the likely outcome of a trade. When it comes to pressing the button, he says human in the loop is still critical for everyone trading on an institutional basis. We build ipushpull around four pillars: chat, data, AI and governance. All four run through this interview. 1. Chat is where counterparty relationships have traditionally lived, so much of the trading history behind these models starts there. 2. Data has to be clean before a model can use it. 3. AI earns its place when the output lands inside the workflow. 4. Governance follows from Gareth's last point: if the human stays in the loop, firms need a record of what the agent suggested and what the trader decided. Full episode https://lnkd.in/e4nZu37W (Yes, that's scaffolding outside Gareth's window. A fitting backdrop for someone who spends his days building market structure.) I'm at FILS Europe in Juan-les-Pins from 13 to 15 October. #FILSEU26

Today we launched Autopay NEXT, a youth management board of eight people, all under thirty. Every year I read popular lists like 30 Under 30 and come away with the same thought. People that age are running companies, building technology, and making decisions that carry real weight. So why is it that in large organizations their voice so rarely reaches the room where decisions get made? At Autopay, we have spent years meeting with students and supporting education, because I believe in it personally. Our involvement goes beyond universities, too: we back youth initiatives such as Econverse. Autopay NEXT is the natural next step. We want to put that potential to work within our company, not just talk about it elsewhere. The board's job is concrete: identify specific projects and initiatives we should be pursuing. From there, their recommendations enter the same lifecycle as any other project at Autopay — picked up and built into the roadmap by our managers, with our management board responsible for strategic alignment and compliance review, exactly as with every other initiative. No separate track, no special treatment — just a real path from idea to execution. I am counting on candor, especially in those moments when their view differs from ours. That is precisely why we created it. My thanks to all eight of them for saying YES. It's exactly this kind of energy we need right now, and I have no doubt we'll see very quickly just how much they have to offer.

"Kawa wjechała, tętno jest w normie, zaczynam dzień w wybitnej formie...”* I hope you're all off to as good a start today as I am — because today I have the pleasure and honor of announcing two major transfers. I'm genuinely delighted to share that Joanna Pieńkowska-Olczak and Mateusz Godecki are joining Autopay! Joanna hardly needs an introduction. A strong, distinctive figure and personality — and until recently, a formidable competitor. Former CEO of PayU in Poland and the CEE region. At Autopay, she'll oversee the development of new business lines, both in Poland and across the region. Joanna, I couldn't be happier that we'll be working together! Mateusz and I have known each other for a while now, and I can say with confidence — we're on the same wavelength. At Autopay, he'll oversee our operations and take on governance in the broadest sense. Mateusz is a highly experienced executive who built his career at, among others, BillBird and Polskie ePłatności. Mateusz — good to have people around us who thought of bringing us together! Joanna, Mateusz, welcome to the team. I trust you're both in equally great form today. And last but not least. We've spent the past few years strengthening and expanding our leadership team — and reshaping Autopayy as a whole. The results are showing. Today I'm proud to officially welcome two more strong personalities who will no doubt help us become an even better company.

The narrative around fintech and banks keeps evolving. It used to be "fintech will destroy banks," then it became "fintechs will help banks," and now the question is "with AI, do banks need fintechs at all?" (Set aside the reality that many fintechs are also banks.) IMHO the more useful question is "what kind of bank are you and what problem are you trying to solve?" There are 4,200 banks in the US and just 32 of them hold nearly three quarters of the assets. In the EU, the ECB directly supervises only 109 banks out of roughly 4,600. Most banks don't have the budget to build and maintain that much. And AI may lower the cost of writing code, but doesn't change your balance sheet, your distribution, or your seasoned loss curve. If you're a bank thinking about SMB, do you have small business customers you can't serve economically? Or do you have capital to deploy but limited SMB distribution? Whether and how you should partner with a fintech like Fundbox depends on which one you are. Join me and my fellow panelists Andrea Zamorano (Amazon), David McHenry (HSBC Innovation Banking), Denise Johansson (Enfuce), and João Cruz (Revolut) on October 6 at Fintech Meetup in Lisbon.

Huge news in the property management banking world. AppFolio and Column Bank have announced a partnership to finally integrate proptech and banking. Through this partnership, AppFolio customers will get access to banking and money movement capabilities specifically built for property managers. On the surface, that sounds like a pretty natural evolution of proptech. But what does this mean for the community banks that currently serve AppFolio customers? If AppFolio starts pulling more of the banking relationship into Column, smaller and mid-sized property management companies may eventually have to think about where their deposits sit and what role their bank plays in that workflow. And that creates an interesting opportunity for community banks. Think about what AppFolio is solving for property managers with this partnership: Easier money movement, fund segregation, easy reconciliation, and property-level account structures. Now ask yourself: Can your bank solve those same problems? I’m curious how other banks and property management companies are thinking about this. Is embedded banking in PM platforms the inevitable next step, or is there a strong case for keeping the banking relationship with the community bank? https://lnkd.in/gYQFZS2d

Are the days of wild 2.5x Bitcoin treasury multiples behind us? During our last Bitwise monthly webinar, an investor asked a sharp question about corporate Bitcoin treasuries and their mNAV (multiple on net asset value) heading into the next market phase: "How will corporate BTC treasuries perform in a bull run, and can they still raise capital at massive premiums?" Here's how Matthew Hougan and André Dragosch, PhD broke down the data. Corporate Bitcoin treasuries have entered a mature third phase. → The monopoly era is over. Before spot ETPs existed, corporate treasuries were one of the few liquid, regulated wrappers for institutional Bitcoin exposure. Today, allocators have direct access to low-cost ETPs, which removes that structural premium. → The math of scale changed. Publicly traded corporate treasuries now hold roughly 5% of total Bitcoin supply, with Strategy alone holding around 4%. Doubling a corporate stack at this size is mathematically much harder than it was three years ago. → What drives premiums now is different too. A runaway bull market can still trigger short-term momentum premiums, but a baseline mNAV of 2.5x or more isn't the norm anymore. Going forward, mNAV expansion depends more on rising futures curves and active balance sheet engineering, like preferred equity models, than on simple spot accumulation. This is exactly the kind of question we dig into every month, live. This time, I'm the one hosting. I'll be taking over our next Bitwise Monthly Crypto Market Webinar on October 8th, together with Matt and Bradley, stepping in for André. Loan demand outpaces deposits, so banks plug the gap with FHLB advances or CDs. Both are expensive, and both show up on a call report as a red flag. After money stopped being “free” in 2022 and Fed rates spiked ~450bps, banks had to get a lot more creative about building a strong deposit base to lend out. Which made cheap, sticky deposits pretty valuable. There are billions of dollars of deposits that cost almost nothing to hold: * Title & 1031 exchange funds * Attorney trust accounts * M&A escrow * Property management funds * Municipal reserves They’re non-interest-bearing, sticky, and tied to a client’s business on top of rates. We put together a calculator to see how much it costs to fund with FHLB advances vs. investing in building a specialty deposit portfolio: https://lnkd.in/g46MxuRv Try it out and let me know how it goes!

Blink Charging is building the infrastructure for a more electric world. More than 66,000 chargers were connected to its networks at the end of 2025, each with its own operating and financial reality. Utilization, energy consumption, pricing, maintenance, and customer behavior determine whether a charger creates value or drains it. Portfolio averages can hide the underperforming assets and missed revenue that matter most. Sapien brought together Blink’s financial, commercial, and charger-activity data from previously disparate systems, giving teams a connected view from network performance to the drivers behind an individual charger’s economics. Using Sapien, Blink identified a group of seasonal chargers that were losing money each month and helped turn them profitable within several weeks, with approximately 40% margin uplift. Routine questions that once required exports, spreadsheet joins, and manual reconciliation can now be answered far faster. What began with asset profitability is expanding across Business Engineering, Business Operations, FP&A, and Accounting. As Blink CFO Michael Bercovich put it, “With Sapien, I can actually talk to the system, challenge it, and work like it is another person on my team. It operationalizes the data. Now I can make decisions.” That has become part of the Blink team’s everyday language. “Before, we used to say, ‘Go Google it.’ Now at Blink we say, ‘Go Sapien it.’” Thank you to Michael Bercovich, Mike Battaglia, Aleksandar Nedelchev, Anthony Martinez, Alex Calnan, and the broader Blink team for your trust and partnership. Blink is helping make electric mobility more accessible. We are proud to help its teams turn complex data into better decisions.

From day one, we believed anyone with a strong investment strategy should be able to turn it into a bankable security. Not just the biggest banks. What we learned along the way: ambition comes in very different shapes. Some managers need to be in market next month with a clean, simple AMC. Others want to wrap private assets, digital assets or complex structures. And some want to build an entire product shelf. One road can't serve all of them. So we're opening three lanes on GenTwo Pro: ⚡ Lite: the fastest route to a bankable AMC, at predictable cost 🧩 Flex: tailored products on any asset, any strategy 🏗️ Smart: your own issuance platform, with every product segregated and carrying its own ISIN The principle hasn't changed. You focus on the strategy and your clients. We take the friction out of everything else. This is how capital markets open up: by giving every manager the lane that fits their ambition. 🧮 A recent ILPA survey reveals just how hard (and critical) manager selection has become. 👀 When asked how many of their buyout GPs have a differentiated, repeatable model to generate alpha, most LPs said a minority or roughly half. 📊Meanwhile, extended hold periods, disruptive operating conditions, significant capital inflows, and high entry multiples are intensifying return pressures. 🔍What does this mean for allocators? Relying on track record alone is not enough — LPs need to know the "How." Are returns driven by true value creation? 🧩 But for most, disparate GP reporting, limited access to portfolio company KPIs, and manual data aggregation make performance attribution a guessing game. ⚡Here, Chronograph provides the data infrastructure to systematically identify alpha across your entire book of GP relationships: 🔹 Easily filter all commitments to a single vintage or strategy and compare Net IRR and MOIC side by side across your GPs. 🔹 Seamlessly unpack how revenue growth, margin improvements, multiple expansion, and leverage contribute to returns. 🔹 Assess whether your GPs' thesis matches what's actually driving performance and increase confidence in re-up decision-making. Today, data, not instinct, will separate the top allocators from the rest. Always happy to chat with allocators thinking through this — feel free to reach out to learn more.
