Vogue just called us the “It Bag of the Summer.” They opened with: “Birkins, move over.” They called Hulken “the Birkin of the proletariat.” And they highlighted that Google search interest for Hulken is at an all-time high, with searches for “Hulken medium” up 110% YoY and “Hulken rolling tote” up 90% YoY. But one of my favorite stats from the article might be this: New York is only the #4 state for Hulken search interest, behind Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas. That says so much about what’s happening with this brand. Hulken may have become a fashion “It” bag, but this is not just a New York fashion moment. The love for this product is broad, national, and rooted in something incredibly simple: it genuinely makes people’s lives easier. Article: https://lnkd.in/eFtBHmfZ

📦 🚚 Genuine question about this free shipping threshold test we ran 🤔: Both a $75 and a $125 free shipping threshold beat our control $100 free shipping threshold. Exciting but we've kind of got a Sophie's Choice on our hand. $75: Highest lift in conversion rate. *Potentially better for new customer acquisition if we want to onboard as many new customers as possible (which we do). $125: Highest lift in profit per visitor. *Who doesn't love a 10% lift in profit per visitor, but not quite as good at getting customers over the line as $75. Which one should we choose as our winner? Or are there questions we aren't asking/thinking about that we should? 👀 the screenshot from Intelligems.

When was the last time you changed your prices? Most founders don’t touch them because they’re afraid that: - Customers might get mad - Support team won’t know what to say - Brand’s perception will be damaged - Competitors will copy or undercut - Sales might go up but profits down —— And yet, in e-commerce, price testing has never been easier. Think about brick-and-mortar stores: they have to update price tags, menus, catalogs, and all their promotional materials. I experienced this firsthand with a physical shop I used to run, having to adjust everything for France’s 5% inflation in 2022. It was real headache. For you? It’s a few clicks in Shopify. The real cost isn’t technical. It’s the stories you tell yourself about why you can’t test it. —— Here’s how to reduce the fear: - Prepare CX templates for common complaints - Explain that prices adapt to different markets - Focus on profitability over competitor moves - Track profit per visitor with tools like Intelligems - Test fast, and adapt to your market fast - Lastly, read Drew Marconi 💎's Founder Newsletter Done right, you can see profit per visitor rise by 5% very quickly. Again... when was the last time you really looked at your prices?

#EliteInfoMoney2025

Someone told you to go to hell? Good news. You have options. Like Hell's Gate in Kenya, where zebras join your bike ride. Or Hell village in Norway, where it's so cold even the snowmen wear coats. Nobody forgets a name like that. And that's the thing about strong names: they create a reaction. They start conversations. They stay in your head. Over the years, we've heard more than once that HELL might be "too strong" for a market. Then the product gets on the shelf. And it sells. After 20 years and billions of cans sold, we've learned one thing: The name was never the problem. It was the point. We're still opening new markets, so if you distribute beverages and think your market is ready for HELL, let's talk. Distributors with a sense of humour go first. :-) And if someone really deserves it, feel free to forward this picture. Now you can finally send them to a nice place.

3 Days of Pink ...

For years, building integrations has been one of the most expensive forms of repetition in software. Every team ends up writing the same connectors, debugging the same OAuth flows, and chasing the same edge-case failures. We’ve treated integrations as engineering projects, when they’re really a form of learned behavior. And now, software can finally remember and reuse that behavior. At 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲, we’ve gathered data on thousands of real-world integrations, not just what API docs say, but how APIs actually behave in production. Our AI is constantly testing, learning, and updating from that data, giving it the world’s deepest context on how integrations really work. Whenever OpenAI, Claude, or others level up, so do we. We continuously remix and fine-tune the latest models, specializing them for integration work. The result is 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁, the AI coding agent built for the terminal and optimized for our Integration Engine. It understands, builds, and maintains the complex web of APIs that power modern software, with the precision and context only Membrane provides. This isn’t about replacing engineers; it’s about giving them leverage. The best developers don’t want to maintain integrations, they want to automate them. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: ⚡ Weeks compressed into minutes 🔁 Maintenance replaced by learning systems 💡 Engineers focused on product, not plumbing If you want to see what it looks like in practice, check out our website https://lnkd.in/ewWshCBU

A while back, the team at Linear introduced the concept of Self-Driving SaaS, software that runs itself with AI. We’re now seeing the same evolution happening in another part of the software world: building product integrations. Over the past decade, unified APIs and embedded iPaaS platforms have made it easier to ship integrations faster. But the core problem remains: you still have to build every integration flow for every external app, and those flows are often rigid, limited, and hard to customize. That’s starting to change. We’re entering an era of self-integrating software, systems that can automatically understand, build, and maintain their own integrations. Think of it this way: • You describe what you want (“Sync contacts from our customers' HubSpot to our product whenever they're updated”). • The system figures out how, reading the APIs, generating code, setting up auth, testing, and monitoring. • In the future, when an API changes or fails, it will self-heal and adapt instead of paging a human. This new generation of software combines human intent (what you want to happen) with AI execution (the system that makes it real). If it wasn’t obvious, that’s our vision at Membrane: where every product can understand and connect to any other product, automatically, safely, and continuously. If you want to see what it looks like in practice, check out our website: https://lnkd.in/ecUHzR_Z

I was surprised to learn that across our customers, Google Shopping drove just 2x the engagement of Meta discovery ads. Here's what we found. We tracked 30M+ sessions across our brand network, comparing Google and Meta traffic side by side. On brand sites, Google visitors view 1.36 products per session. Meta visitors view 0.85. Google visitors stay 2x longer (5.2 min vs. 2.4 min), click 2.6x more, and scroll 38% deeper. On FERMÀT storefronts, Google Shopping (PLA) visitors browse 2.06 products vs. 1.62 for Meta DPA. This held across every single brand. No exceptions. That surprised me. I would've thought high-intent traffic engagement would be roughly 4-5x cold, no-intent traffic. Especially since you're often bidding on branded terms vs. cold traffic where I would have expected more fast bounces. A 2-3x gap in on-site behavior between someone who searched for exactly what they wanted and someone who was interrupted mid-scroll on Instagram. That tells you something important about how people actually shop in lifestyle and DTC categories. The experience after the click matters more than the intent before it. How does this shape your ad buying now that you've seen the data?
- FERMÀTSince 9 Apr 2026
14% of shopping queries on Google now trigger an AI Overview. For "best [product]" queries, that number is over 80%. Google's Shopping Graph is consistently a top-5 cited domain across all of them. And FERMÀT brands are showing up inside it. We now have 1,400+ valid product snippets recognized by Google from shopfermat.com, up ~30% from last month. Ranking for high-intent queries like "best suitcase under $300" and "best climbing shoes." Here's why this matters: most brands can't control whether they appear in AI Overviews. Their own site might not have the structured data Google needs. But FERMÀT's product pages are built for exactly this. We ingest structured product data in the format Google's Shopping Graph picks up. That means FERMÀT is an additional distribution surface. Even when a brand's own site doesn't make it into the AI Overview, their products on shopfermat.com can. The brands investing in AI search visibility now are building a compounding advantage. The ones waiting are ceding shelf space they didn't know existed.
