AI Agents are living their main character era. Every team in your company is building AI agents now. With different tools, different models, different owners. So can you answer three basic questions about each one? - Who owns it? - What can it reach? - Did anyone approve it? Most companies can’t. Only 14.4% of teams say every agent going live had full security and IT approval. And on average, fewer than half of a company’s agents are actually being monitored. That’s why an AI Catalog matters. One place that lists: ✅ Every agent ✅ Every model ✅ Every MCP server ✅ Every prompt ✅ Every skill ✅ Every data and knowledge source Each one with a clear owner. And anything that isn’t in the catalog doesn’t get in. Full blog here: https://lnkd.in/dQwtCrNV

The most dangerous data is the kind that used to be true. Greenly opened its EcoPilot 2 keynote with explorer Mike Horn, who planned an Arctic crossing on 50 years of ice data. Where the ice was 2.5 m thick in 2006, he measured 8 cm. I spent years at the UN working with banks and regulators on exactly this problem. More than once, I sat with risk teams defending flood models calibrated on 30 years of history, in regions where the last five had broken every record. Then came astronaut Jean-François Clervoy, who has seen Earth from space three times. His view: we’re all crew on one spaceship, with limited resources and no backup. “There is no plan B.” He also reminded us how much of what we know about the climate comes from satellites. Seen that way, measuring emissions means reading the mission’s instruments. Only then did the product show up: a messy file in, an emission factor for every line, every step traceable by an auditor. Greenly has a knack for telling the climate story before anyone else: the Paris metro, Times Square, London, and now this. But what I keep coming back to is what sits underneath. Finance became trustworthy when everyone agreed on the plumbing: common standards, audit trails, numbers that a CFO in São Paulo and an auditor in Frankfurt read the same way. Climate data still lacks much of that. With Normative joining Greenly, 4,000 companies now share one base, and each new one improves the data for all the others. That’s how software becomes infrastructure, and I suspect it’s where this market will be decided. One caveat: infrastructure only works if it stays open. Greenly has committed to no lock-in. Good. Let’s hold them to it. Short on time? The demo starts at 23:59. Full Replay Link: https://lnkd.in/e74Vbs4W #EcoPilot2 #ANewScale #ClimateRisk #CarbonAccounting #SustainableFinance

Exhibit A for AI in cash application. Last week, a Suppli customer received a $975K check covering 1,301 invoices. Suppli’s AI agent matched and applied all 1,301 invoices in under 60 seconds. 100% touch-free. Think about how long it would take your team to manually apply a payment across 1,301 invoices today. Now think about what they could be doing with that time instead: calling customers, resolving disputes, collecting cash, underwriting new credit applications. The list goes on. Your best credit people should be serving customers. Not applying their payments.

I hope folks are finally getting their normal (whatever that means) sleep cycles restored after one heck of a week. Given all this "excitement", I'm hearing a lot of discussion about how AI is accelerating vulnerability exploitation for attackers, but I'm equally excited about what AI is doing for us defenders. As someone who's spent decades leading security teams, I know how much time and effort goes into responding to a critical vulnerability: identifying affected systems, assessing exposure, containing and quarantining, and coordinating remediation and future prevention. These are exactly the kinds of workflows where AI can make a meaningful difference. And we're already seeing that happen. Following PHP2Shell, Glow customers used our AI agents to quickly identify affected systems, build remediation plans, and accelerate their response/recovery. It's a promising example of how AI can help security teams navigate an increasingly complex threat landscape. Our team shared some of these examples and what we've learned: https://lnkd.in/ehYSjmbG. We're also making our security experts available to teams navigating these recent disclosures. If we can help in any way, please reach out to [email protected]@glow.io. #LetsGlow

There are the same few brands that show up in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Google’s AI Overviews. Some are giants. Others are small brands that earned their spot within months. 🚨 Some partnership news in the #IdentitySecurity space! 🚨 Cisco and Teleport recently announced a strategic partnership focused on advancing Infrastructure Identity. As enterprise infrastructure has become more distributed and complex, the identity problem has expanded right along with it. It’s no longer just employees accessing corporate applications. Engineering teams are managing access across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, databases, internal applications and other critical systems...with humans, machines, workloads and increasingly AI agents all in the mix. That makes having a consistent, identity-based approach to infrastructure access without relying on long-lived credentials increasingly important. I’ve spent the last 10+ years recruiting in Identity Security, and one of the biggest changes I’ve seen is just how much the definition of “identity” continues to expand. That’s what makes this partnership interesting to me. Cisco and Teleport are looking at how Infrastructure Identity needs to evolve as environments become more distributed, automated, and AI-driven. Definitely worth checking out what they’re working on together: https://fandf.co/4rQdlwd #InfrastructureSecurity #IAM #Cybersecurity #CloudSecurity Sponsored by Teleport

A battery that biodegrades into compost when it is done. This isn't science fiction, as researchers in Switzerland spent three years developing a fungal fuel cell that gets two different fungi to work together, housed in beeswax, printed with conductive ink, and built almost entirely from materials that disappear when the job is done. The current it produces is small, and commercial applications are still years away. But a power source designed to break down rather than pile up in a landfill is worth paying attention to, especially heading toward a world projected to generate 82 million tons of e-waste by 2030. Still early, but this is exactly the kind of thinking that deserves more attention in our industry. https://lnkd.in/e67Ham9h

A new Bloomberg report on Europe’s plastic waste exports shows how much the recycling trade depends on where material ends up. The UK and EU sent nearly 650,000 metric tons of plastic waste to Turkey last year, more than to any other country. With COP31 taking place in Antalya, Turkey, from November 9 to 20, the timing makes this worth a closer look. To me, this signals a gap in domestic infrastructure. Across the electronics industry, I see the same pattern with e-waste. When regions lack the capacity to process materials nearby, we lose the value. Turkey’s own data shows progress. Its waste recovery rate has climbed from 13% to 37.5% since 2017. But researchers in the report found microplastic levels downstream of Adana’s recycling plants up to 132 times higher than upstream. Recycling only counts as circular when it is done well, and that takes oversight, transparency, and investment in local systems. This is why I keep coming back to the need for reliable recovery infrastructure, whether the material is a plastic bottle or a circuit board. Clear standards, consistent rules, and processing capacity close to where the product is at the end of its life help keep the value in the supply chain and reduce risk. How are your organizations thinking about end-of-life responsibility, and what would it take to build more of that capacity closer to home? https://lnkd.in/etdfbM8s

Take it from a guy who’s spent roughly 8% of his life staring at creator marketing graphs: you will almost never see breakdowns like this. Like it says in the title, we’re looking at 12 months’ worth of social media impressions for Dairy Queen, everyone’s favorite soft-serve source, as broken down across major social channels. Typically, one platform overperforms, contributing an outsized amount of a brand’s traffic. Sometimes you’ll get two platforms splitting the pie. But three? Never. And yet Dairy Queen manages to achieve that perfect balance. (Sidebar to Dairy Queen: if you’re not already making Neapolitan Blizzards, why not try it out?) How does DQ do it? When I dove into CreatorIQ's proprietary data to look at Dairy Queen’s most impactful posts, it became clear pretty quickly that the brand’s content ecosystem is dominated by several distinct creator archetypes: First you’ve got your fast food reviewers. For example, Shob Proth ($5.9M EMV) is a Bangladesh-based Facebook-heavy account that posts product reviews with near-daily frequency. Do they even have Dairy Queens in Bangladesh? Doesn’t matter: we live in a globalized world, and everybody loves ice cream. Next we’ve got the deal-hunters. From this group, snackolator ($4.9M EMV) is the most prolific English-language poster, with captions that sometimes read like a Dairy Queen flyer: "FREE CONE DAY is almost here from Dairy Queen again — on March 19th you can get a free small vanilla cone at participating locations." Turns out that the whole ‘Free Cone Day’ thing is a pretty effective social media strategy. Savvy shoppers like Mama Deals ($822k EMV) and jamies_daily_deals ($531k) each announced Free Cone Day across multiple impactful posts, while tayloreatsnyc ($885k EMV) aggregated Dairy Queen content into weekly fast food deal roundups. Mark your calendars for March 19 (that’s what it was in 2026, anyway), because Free Cone Day is officially Dairy Queen’s signature earned media moment. Beyond all the snack-masters and deal-hunters, many of Dairy Queen’s most impactful posts over the last year came from personality-led food creators, who shared content in which the brand served as a vehicle for humor or food-related obsessions, rather than just information about how to save a few bucks. The lesson? Invest in a diverse, multi-platform creator community that genuinely cares about your brand. Oh, and free ice cream doesn’t hurt. Speaking of which, if Dairy Queen wants to send me a cone for generating all this LinkedIn publicity, I’m all ears… You know what I’m also all ears for? Suggestions for which brand I should cover next! Sound off in the comments 👇

"Should we be doing <insert tactic here>?" and "What's our plan for <insert new channel that everyone's talking about>?" are two questions that marketers get on a weekly, if not daily, basis. Right now, I bet you're getting that question about ChatGPT ads. I know, because we're getting it from the brands that we work with. It might feel like ChatGPT ads are "new", but OpenAI has already passed $1B in revenue from the offering and AirOps early research shows that in fintech alone, ad load went from near zero in April to appearing in over 50% by mid-July. So, should you invest? Are your competitors investing? What does the market look like right now? All valid questions and, up until now, hard to fully figure out. Today we launched our ChatGPT ads library to give you intel on how your peers and competitors are investing in AI ads. No one wants to be competitor obsessed (at least, I don't want to be competitor obsessed), but we do need to be market informed. The ads library is just another example of the many ways AirOps helps you understand the market you're playing in, set and execute the right strategy for your brand, and tie those actions back to pipeline and revenue. Big ups to Jim Tan Katie Paxson Flynn Amr Shafik and Dillon Hong for going from idea to live in less than a week and the many other folks that made it happen! Now, go snoop on your competitors' ChatGPT ads. You know you want to.

What is your competitor advertising inside ChatGPT? ChatGPT's ads manager only shows your own campaigns. I spent about $600 testing ChatGPT Ads and never saw a single competitor ad the whole time. AirOps built a public ChatGPT Ad Library for exactly that. Search a brand or domain and you see the ChatGPT ads AirOps has observed, how many are active, how often each one shows up, and the prompts they appeared for. ChatGPT ads are rolling out and info like this is game changing for cracking the platform faster than everyone else. Search a competitor here: https://lnkd.in/gDQpMKCQ Paid partnership with AirOps.

Ask your CX team how painful it is to keep all policies, SOPs and processes up to date without breaking something else along the way. Most teams I talk to have the same setup. The return policy is in the bot, in the help center, in the post-purchase emails and in a handful of macros. When it changes, someone has to go through all of them and hope they didn't miss one. And because a lot of these rules depend on each other, like a warranty rule that references the return process, you usually find out about the one you missed when a customer gets the wrong answer. The same thing makes switching tools hard, and adding new ones just as hard. Every tool holds a piece of how your cs and cx works, so every change means rebuilding that piece somewhere else. With Yuma 2.0 we moved all of it into one place. Your rules, your policies and your customer context live in a Handbook, written in plain language. Everything around it can change. You can add a phone line, add SMS or try whatever new tool comes out next quarter, and they all follow the same rules, because the rules don't live in the tools anymore. It also stays easy to maintain as it grows. You tell Ask Yuma what changed, in your own words, from the dashboard or straight from Claude or ChatGPT. It updates the right pages, shows you the before and after, and runs your tests as simulated conversations before anything goes live, so if a change breaks another rule somewhere, you see it there and not in a customer reply. Your stack will keep changing. The rules your team spent years figuring out shouldn't have to move every time it does. The video shows one rule change going from a single sentence to the next customer reply. Link in the comments.

Mike Bair put it on our show better than we ever have: AI is a staffing strategy. 💡 10 years ago, he built a model that said: I have this much volume, I need this many people. Sounds simple, but that was the equation. It's still is, but now, AI is just another line in it. Which matters right now, because peak volume is forecastable and most teams already hold the inputs. Contact rate, order projections from the ops team or the marketing calendar. Naomi Oriol calls it demand planning: it's the same as inventory planning! So for Q4 this year, the question is not how many seasonal agents do we hire. It's: how much of this did we already know was coming? Which part of it actually needs a human? Hiring 25 agents for a 2-month crunch is what you do when you can't answer those questions. We built Yuma AI (YC W23) AI for the part you can forecast, so BFCM doesn't need a new hiring plan, every single year :)

Vill du in före alla andra?

2 ➔ Dwell Time: Wie lange bleiben Leute an eurem Post hängen? In all my years running brands from the inside, I have never seen brand leaders carry this much at once. They are asked to make the brand cheaper to run with AI, and they answer for whatever AI says about it. They are expected to sound sure for a team that isn't. And there are two ways to fail: fall behind, or sign off on the wrong thing. Underneath it all sits a question: if agents do more of the work, what exactly am I here to decide? More than it seems. For thirty years we have been the operators of the machine — hand-holding the digital surfaces to unlock their capability. Now the machine understands our intent, and it operates for us. Your customers' agents are starting to compare, shortlist and choose for them. The tools behind that will change every quarter. What must remain true about your brand when an agent acts in its name should not. You will work that out with IT, legal and your agencies, but you can't hand it over: accountability does not delegate to a machine. And if nobody decides, silence does not produce absence. It produces improvisation. Many brand leaders have asked me for time to think this through together. So Flavia Barbat of Brandingmag and I are starting with a paid briefing, small on purpose so everyone in it takes part. 🖥️ Agentic Branding: A Live Briefing 🗓️ Thursday 12 November, 14:00–16:00 CET, live online For CMOs, CBOs and leaders of brand and communications; agency and consultancy leaders welcome. 20 seats, $875 each, by request until Tuesday 10 November. What if the reason LLMs go searching on third-party platforms for more about your brand is that your brand isn't giving them enough information? I often pose this question to brand leaders when discussing agentic branding—not because external validation isn't important, but because too much focus on it causes decision-makers to fall prey to the latest tools and miss the long-term opportunities. AI agents are shifting from merely surfacing and recommending your brand to personifying it, speaking for it, and ultimately, rendering it in real time on surfaces we can't even imagine. That means a brand leader's job isn't only to decide how their teams will use AI tools; it's also to make sure AI tools can use their brands. And that starts with what you can control. Look at your brand's own editorial properties, for example: → Your publications and insights hubs → Articles by your company's own experts → Reports and research you publish → Podcasts and video series you've transcribed → Educational, experience-driven case studies All of these contribute to your brand's knowledge graph, the part of the agent-mediated equation you can directly control. That includes the additional expertise—conference talks, sales conversations, internal training, engineering notes—you have yet to package and surface somewhere an agent can find. I'm not talking solely about accurate product and service information; I'm talking about how your brand's unique value and meaning are codified into an editorial standard that LLMs (be they internal or external) can leverage when communicating on behalf of your brand. Nothing will give you more clarity on where you stand than reading your own published expertise side by side, the way an agent would. You'll see where your brand contradicts itself, where it goes quiet on a strategic topic, and where it could be more specific about your experts' approach. Only then can you begin to revise your brand's digital footprint and use those revisions to architect an editorial standard for everything your brand writes moving forward. This digital revolution finally feels like one that forces us to look inward, clean house, and let the best version of our brands emerge. To help brand leaders take quick yet sustainable action, Thomas Marzano and I have condensed what we've studied, discussed, and applied with our respective clients into a two-hour executive briefing for senior marketing, brand, and communications leaders. Today we launch Agentic Agileday - From 100 clicks to one prompt. 🔥 🚀 This is a big milestone for us. When we started Agileday, we knew that one day the platform would do the routine work, not just record it. That day is here. You can give the Agileday Agent an RFP, and it suggests a team, shows the impact on margin and writes tailored CVs. ➡️ Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/dRxDrqUK 👏 My favourite feedback from a pilot customer came after their first try: “Damn, this works.” I really believe we are onto something, and that our customers will feel the value. This is a big milestone, but only the halfway point. Next, you can let the Agent run work for you with Automations. 💜 This was a true team effort.
