I’ve spent years scaling brands across Meta, TikTok, and TikTok Shop, and here’s the truth: Media buying is no longer the moat. Creative strategy is. The people who master creative analysis, hypothesis-driven testing, and outcome-based briefs? They’re the ones getting paid the most - and delivering the most. This is exactly what Metric Minded trains you to do. We extended our BFCM sale and tomorrow is the last day you can get it for $497 and then the price goes back up to $1k.

O consumidor mudou. O jogo mudou. A estratégia precisa mudar junto.

We dropped Metric Minded to $497 for 15 people until Cyber Monday. That’s it, go to https://metricminded.io/ No sales funnel. No fake scarcity. No drama. If you’re tired of: - Making endless ad creatives with no insight - Running ads without understanding why they work - Being left out of creative decisions Metric Minded fixes that. Not for beginners. Not for “how do I get clients” people. For people in the trenches, who want to own the strategy behind it. The people inside are legit. The lessons are dense. There’s no fluff. If you’re ready to stop guessing and start running creative with intention — DM me.

TikTok Shop just hit $19 billion in quarterly sales nearly matching eBay’s $20.1 billion. That’s wild. eBay’s been around for 30 years. TikTok Shop? Two. This shows how fast shopping is changing right under us. TikTok isn’t built on search like Amazon or eBay. It’s built on discovery. You scroll, you laugh, you buy. And it’s working. If you run a consumer brand, here’s what that means for you: 1. Your content is your storefront. Every short video is a product page now. 2. Creators drive everything. The right partnership can move more units than a month of ads. 3. Measurement has to catch up. A ton of these sales don’t happen inside TikTok, they spill over to Amazon and retail. 4. Budgets are shifting. Full-funnel TikTok campaigns are starting to beat “conversion-only” strategies. 5. Don’t put all your eggs in one feed. TikTok’s growth is massive, but it’s still one platform with its own risks. Social commerce is officially a dominating force. What matters now is how fast you can build the systems and creator network to actually make TikTok Shop work for you. Most measurement models are lying to you. Here’s the simple fix that uncovered $3.3M in hidden revenue. For years, marketers have relied on legacy models like last-click or MTA, tools built for a world where every click was traceable. This world was always flawed but it's now completely unrecognizable. The modern customer journey is messy. Someone sees your product in a TikTok video, hears about it from a friend, and only buys weeks later. Traditional attribution misses all of that. In a new piece I co-authored with Matthew Barbarasch, SMB NA Marketing Science Lead at TikTok, we explored how pairing direct customer feedback with modern, privacy-safe measurement tools - like Fospha's full-funnel Bayesian MMM - gives brands a truer view of what’s driving performance. One brand uncovered $3.3M in hidden revenue after switching from MTA to Fospha, revealing the real impact of TikTok’s upper-funnel campaigns that click-based attribution had completely missed. When you start listening to the customer, not the cookie… Your measurement gets smarter. Your creative gets sharper. And your marketing starts working harder than ever.

I have never been more optimistic about the future of marketing. And surprisingly, it has very little to do with AI. For several years, I've had the privilege of serving as an examiner for digital marketing students enrolled in a degree apprenticeship program. That perspective has allowed me to follow the development of the next generation quite closely. What stands out to me is not their ability to keep up with new platforms. That has always been part of the job. What has changed is the natural ability to connect strategy, platforms, data, measurement, AI and Optimization. This is a true superpower. And honestly, something that most enteprises are still trying to figure out. At the same time, it is becoming a native skill with the new generation. They understand the latest platforms and trends. But they also understand how to define objectives, measure outcomes, compare performance, and improve results based on data. Perhaps the most impressive part is the speed at which this development is happening. Year after year, the level continues to rise. That gives me a lot of confidence in where our industry is heading. Because the future of marketing will not belong to those who simply master the newest tools. It will belong to those who can connect technology, strategy, data, and execution into meaningful business outcomes. Hearing things said in exams like: ''In order to further improve on our marketing impact, we need comparable data sets to know we're the next dollar will bring most impact'', makes me lean back a little more with a big smile. From what I've seen, that future is already arriving, and it looks bright.

Who’s ready for unBoxed next week?? The Acadia team will be there in full force… I’ll be joined by Jared Belsky, Jordan Ripley, Pat Petriello and Ross Walker. We’re excited (and pretty proud!) that Acadia is a finalist for the Challenger Brand Award for the second year in a row. Our work with BODi is being recognized for how we used custom AMC audiences and a smart full-funnel strategy to help BODi not only break into but find real growth in the ultra-competitive protein category. While we’re there Jordan Ripley and I will be recording a special edition of the Ecommerce Braintrust Podcast with Julie Spear & Jordan Ripley live from the Amazon Content Studio. And Ross Walker will be presenting with DevaCurl's Jeff Lin, Pacvue's Vince Velasquez, and Amazon Ads' Lauren Corby, spotlighting how AMC is fueling full-funnel campaigns that drive new-to-brand growth. If you’ll be in Nashville, let’s connect - I would love to catch up in person!

If the LLM application you're developing is ONLY an LLM application, you're setting yourself and your users up for a lot of pain. Take a look at the X post below from Andrej Karpathy. He pointed out that personalization features in LLMs tend to "try too hard." You ask one question about a topic months ago, and the model keeps bringing it up like it's a core part of your identity. Every LLM does this. Karpathy's hypothesis is that during training, most context is relevant to the task, so models develop a bias to use whatever they're given. At inference time, that bias makes them overfit to anything in memory. Karpathy's observation is a precise description of what happens when you have a system optimized to exploit context without any theory of what context means. Think about how you listen to a colleague. They mention motorcycles once, and you don't file "motorcycles" as a core personality trait. You know the difference between an offhand comment and something that matters because you've absorbed frameworks for how conversations work and what identity looks like. You learned these from growing up in a culture, not from word patterns. LLMs have fuzzy approximations of these frameworks because cultural knowledge shows up implicitly in training data, but nothing in the architecture explicitly represents them. The model can't distinguish "asked about motorcycles out of curiosity" from "motorcycles are central to this user's identity" because that distinction requires a theory of relevance that lives outside the words themselves. This is why LLMs fall out of alignment with both too little context and too much. Without enough they lack signal, but with too much they treat everything as signal because they can't sort wheat from chaff. You and I handle variable input because we bring stable frameworks that tell us how to weight and interpret. LLMs don't have that layer. The fix isn't more context, better retrieval, or a bigger window. You need a separate system that evaluates what matters before the LLM ever sees it, one that learns which signals predict outcomes worth caring about and organizes observations into categories humans can inspect and adjust. We've been building toward Artificial Intelligence, but we also need something like Artificial Culture, the scaffolding that tells a system what categories exist and how to interpret signals it receives. LLMs can't solve LLMs' context problem. If your AI strategy is a bigger model with longer memory, you will hit this wall. The path forward is modular architectures where different components handle different jobs, with humans providing the cultural scaffolding. That's the investment most organizations haven't made yet, and it's where the real gains live. Want to learn how you can leverage Agentic AI for better personalization? We need to stop thinking about user engagement in terms of optimization and start thinking in terms of alignment. ➡️ Optimization is fragile. If you test option A vs. option B and A wins, so you roll out A for everyone because it's "optimal," what have you actually done? ❌ You've destroyed the experience for every user who preferred B. ❌ You've flattened the experience for users who liked both A and B - less variety, less richness. ❌ You've killed off most chance of discovering C, D, or E - things that might have been even better for some people or better later. You've taken what was a living, breathing, dynamic experience and turned it into a monolith. And here's the kicker: the very act of "optimizing" changes the conditions that made your optimal choice optimal in the first place. I repeat: by optimizing, you make your optimal choice no longer optimal. The system shifts under you. What worked breaks. And sure, you can slap on a bandit approach or some fancier algorithm, but that just makes your fragility probabilistic instead of deterministic. It doesn’t solve the core problem. Alignment, on the other hand, isn’t just more robust. It’s antifragile. It doesn’t chase immediate bang-for-the-buck. It’s about moving each individual user in the direction of some desired end state, even if they’re not there yet. It embraces the fact that users change. That they don’t all want the same thing. That discovery matters. All that individual noise? That’s actually the signal. Every time a user changes their mind (or stumbles onto something new they like, or figures out a preference they didn’t know they had), you can follow them there. And when you do, their experience gets richer. And when their experience gets richer, every single business metric - conversion, retention, re-engagement, whatever - gets stronger over time. ➡️ Optimization is seeing how big of a splash you can make by throwing a rock in the water. ➡️ Alignment is about steadily dropping pebbles in the right places at the right times to raise the water level. Optimization freezes and ultimately destroys the dynamics that made it make sense in the first place. Alignment adapts as dynamics evolve - it always makes sense, because it lets users decide what they want rather than trying to lock in choice for the convenience of the business. Users don’t want systems that optimize. They want systems that align.

If your FMCG/CPG team manages packaging artwork across multiple SKUs and markets, minor errors are probably costing you more than you track. A missed label translation. An outdated spec that survives three revisions. A claim change on day 29 of a 30-day cycle. Few teams have a clean way to catch these earlier in the process. That's why I'm sharing this: On March 26, Jorgen Bartsch (ex-Unilever), Mike Baird, and Dagmar M. are doing a practitioner-led breakdown of why FMCG packaging rework keeps happening and how teams are stopping it before files go to print. 🐇 The FMCG Artwork Rabbit Hole: How to Get Packaging Right First Time 📅 March 26 · 12 PM EST / 16:00 GMT · 30 minutes Sign up here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eT9CuMiU This is the 30 minutes your next project cycle will thank you for.

Your lead scoring is broken. Here's the model that predicts revenue with 87% accuracy. Most B2B companies score leads like it's 2015. ┣ Downloaded whitepaper: +10 points ┣ Attended webinar: +15 points ┗ Opened email: +5 points Meanwhile, 73% of these "hot" leads never convert. Here's what we discovered after analyzing 10,000+ B2B leads: The leads scoring highest in traditional systems aren't buyers. They're information collectors. They download everything. Open every email. Click every link. But when sales calls? ↳ "Just doing research." ↳ "Not ready yet." ↳ "Send me more info." The leads that DO convert show completely different signals: They don't just visit your pricing page. They spend 8 minutes there, come back twice more that week, then search "[competitor] vs [your company]." They're not reading blog posts. They're calculating ROI and researching implementation. Activity doesn't equal intent. And that's where most scoring models fall apart. We rebuilt lead scoring from the ground up. Instead of rewarding every action equally, we weighted four factors based on what actually predicts revenue: ┣ Intent signals (40%) - someone searching "implementation" is closer to buying than someone downloading an ebook ┣ Behavioral depth (30%) - how someone engages tells you more than what they engage with ┣ Firmographic fit (20%) - perfect ICP match or bust ┗ Engagement quality (10%) - quality of interaction matters The framework is simple. The impact isn't. We map every lead to one of four tiers: ┣ 90-100 points → Sales gets them same-day ┣ 70-89 points → Automated nurture + retargeting ┣ 50-69 points → Educational content track ┗ Below 50 → Long-term relationship building No more dumping mediocre leads on sales and wondering why they don't follow up. Results after 6 months: ┣ Sales acceptance rate: +156% ┣ Sales cycle length: -41% ┗ Lead-to-customer rate: +73% The biggest shift wasn't the scoring model. It was the mindset. 🛑 Stop measuring marketing by MQL volume. ✔️ Start measuring it by how many MQLs sales actually wants to talk to. Your automation platform will happily score 500 leads as "hot" this month. But if sales only accepts 50, you don't have a volume problem. You have a scoring problem. Traditional scoring optimizes for activity. And fills your pipeline with noise. Revenue-predictive scoring optimizes for intent and fills it with buyers. If you'd like help with assessing your current lead scoring logic, comment "SCORING" and I'll get in touch to schedule a FREE consultation.

Ai etän että, kun oraakkeli osuu oikeaan. Pari vuotta sitten sanoin, että tulee muuten syntymään lojaliteettiohjelmien kova kilpailu. Ja mistä me ollaan keskustelu ja mitä me ollaan tehty koko alkuvuosi? Arvasit oikein. Trump sanois: "So sad, so sad" Mutta ei niin surullista, etteikö asialle voisi tehdä jotain!
