- Text-onlyIn 15 years on the brand side, I never kept an agency longer than three months. It's how I know what growth leaders actually need from an agency. When acquisition costs increased, I didn’t need someone to tell me that CPMs were up or that Meta had changed. I could see that in the account. I needed someone to help determine what was actually happening. Was our creative losing its effectiveness? Had the landing page stopped converting? Was the offer no longer compelling? Were we reaching the wrong customer? The problem was rarely a lack of talented people. The problem was that every function operated independently. Media buying was responsible for media. Creative was responsible for producing assets. The website belonged to someone else. Reporting showed what happened, but not always why. Meanwhile, the person leading growth was still accountable for the combined result. That experience shaped how I built Bowery Boost. If the client owns the entire revenue outcome, the agency cannot limit its thinking to the ad account. Six years later, I still believe that is one of the biggest gaps in the traditional agency model. It’s the gap we’re working to close, one ecommerce brand at a time.Bowery BoostRecorded 11 Sept 2026
- Text-onlyWe had our Q4 prep meeting a few weeks back, and one thing really stood out to me: retention. As we're building BFCM strategies this year, more than 70% of the brands we'll be planning for have been with us for at least a year, and some for nearly three. Of course, we can build a strategy by looking at last year's performance and YTD data. But having lived through previous launches with the same team and the same brand gives you context that spreadsheets don't. You remember what offers resonated, where operations struggled, which creative themes lasted, how inventory affected performance, and what looked good on paper but didn't translate once campaigns were live. This year's planning also feels different. Many of us haven't navigated a BFCM season in an economy this uncertain. Consumer behavior has shifted, acquisition costs are unpredictable, and brands are going to have to be much more intentional than simply increasing budgets. A few of the things we're paying the closest attention to: - Traffic trends: finding cost-effective, high-intent traffic sources before BFCM. - Conversion trends: improving landing pages and product pages before spending more on acquisition. - Channel performance: watching frequency closely and relying more heavily on new customer metrics and incrementality until BFCM rather than scaling blindly. - Offers: having backup promotions ready if the competitive landscape becomes more aggressive than expected. - Product mix: understanding which products deserve the most visibility based on margin, inventory, and historical demand. Q4 is won long before Black Friday. The brands that spend the last few months learning, testing, and preparing usually have a much easier time when everyone else is trying to react in real time.Bowery BoostRecorded 11 Sept 2026

This is the meeting where your "sure thing" deal goes to die... The meeting felt like a win. They nodded. They asked sharp questions. You gave confident answers. You walked out thinking, "We've got this." But two weeks later, an email shows up: "Thanks for the conversation. The timing isn't right. We'll circle back." You feel blindsided. Frustrated. Blaming the budget. Or the timing. Or the client. Little do you know, you the deal was lost during a conversation you weren't even in the room for. Fifteen minutes after you left, three people on their team sat down. "So... what do we think?" They weren't reviewing your slides. They weren't quoting your insights. They weren't debating your pricing. They were quietly trying to answer three questions you never heard—but absolutely should have. Question 1: "Are they the specialist... or just another smart generalist?" "They said they work in our industry..." "Right, but are we one of ten client types they serve? Or the type they specialize in?" "Not sure." "So how confident are we that their expertise really maps to our situation?" Conclusion: Too broad. Too risky. Question 2: "Is this even worth doing right now?" "They'd help us improve our strategy..." "Okay, but what specific problem are they solving?" "They didn't really spell it out." "Sounds like a lot of work. Do we even have bandwidth?" "Not really." "Let's just put it on the back burner." Conclusion: Unclear value. No urgency. Deferred. Question 3: "How is this different from what we've already tried?" "They mentioned a proven methodology..." "So did the last two consultants." "They focus on implementation." "Everyone says that. What's actually different this time?" ...Silence. Conclusion: Feels like déjà vu. Pass. You thought it was a yes. It was actually a quiet no. And here's the part no one tells you: It wasn't your delivery. It wasn't your pricing. It wasn't timing. It was your positioning—and it didn't survive the room you weren't in. Positioning isn't what you say. It's what gets remembered and repeated after you leave. That's what we fix in the Power Positioning Workshop. How to make your positioning so clear that when the door closes, the answers are obvious: ✅ Yes, they work with clients exactly like us. ✅ Yes, this problem is costing us enough to solve now. ✅ Yes, this approach is different than anything we've tried. Register here: https://lnkd.in/gpDDf9px If you've ever been ghosted after a great meeting—this is why. You didn't lose on price or timing. You lost because your positioning couldn't survive the room you weren't in.

Gordon Ramsay owns 88 restaurants worldwide. That sounds like a lot. Until you realize it took him 26 years to get there. That's 3.4 restaurants per year. Meanwhile, McDonald's opens 3 restaurants per DAY. Subway has 37,000 locations—they'll franchise to anyone with $100K and a pulse. Gordon Ramsay has 88. And he's worth $220 million. It's not for lack of opportunity. There's a long lineup of investors, hotels, and developers who would kill to open a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. The money is there. The demand is there. Why not open more restaurants? Wouldn't he make more money? Maybe. But Gordon isn't playing the volume game. He's playing the standards game. Every restaurant has to earn the right to carry his name. It has to represent high-end dining, European-influenced cuisine, perfectionist standards, premium positioning. That's what "Gordon Ramsay" means. When you walk into a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, he wants you to believe he could be in that kitchen right now, screaming at a line cook who dared to overcook the wellington. That his standards are everywhere, even when he's not. You can't maintain that illusion with 37,000 locations. Now imagine if Ramsay had no standards—if he just said yes to whatever came along. Mexican restaurants, vegan cafes, airport food courts, strip mall pizzerias. What would "Gordon Ramsay" even mean anymore? Nothing. This is exactly what's happening in your consulting practice. Without a clear vision of what you're building and standards for what you'll take on -- you'll take whatever happens to come your way. Before you know it, you're 10 years in with a track record that looks like a dog's breakfast and you still can't answer a simple question like: "So what do you do?" If you're ready to stop doing "random projects for random clients" and start building a consulting business with a clear focus, standards and purpose... Join me for the next Power Positioning LIVE Workshop. I'll show you exactly how to clarify what you stand for, identify your ideal opportunities, and create positioning so clear that the right projects find you. Just $7 for the complete framework that's helped 1,000+ consultants build intentional practices. Grab your seat here: https://lnkd.in/gmPkSwpx

No vengo a matar a los influencers. No confundamos. No es un actor. No es un influencer. Y sin embargo, transmite emoción, cercanía y credibilidad. ¿Menos?.. #BoomitAIContentLab #AIUGC #AIContent #AIMarketing #Innovation

THE FRONT PAGE OF THE INTERNET IS CHANGING IN REAL TIME. And it’s changing whether you adapt or not. There used to be certainty. You knew where you ranked on Google and could visibly see it. You could measure it. Now? It’s a black box. That uncertainty has opened the door for scam artists selling “all-in-one AI solutions” that promise everything and deliver nothing. But at Brainlabs, we're working to build real, tangible frameworks that ACTUALLY move the needle. So here’s our first go at actually measuring AI visibility. Note that it's a moving target, and it will evolve. We fully expect more sophisticated solutions as the market matures. I wanted to give a particular shoutout to some of the pioneers building the tools helping us navigate this: Mathias Ptacek at Rankscale.ai, Mitul Gandhi at seoClarity, and William Wagner at Semrush just to name a few as I'm sure there are many more tools entering this space. Awesome job at getting ahead of this new frontier!!! What tools are you using to track AI search visibility?

Most SaaS teams want better LLM visibility but don’t know where to start. Here are 10 actions you can take immediately to make AI models understand, trust, and surface your product. This checklist breaks down: • credibility & citations • entity mapping • UGC & third-party signals • AIO vs SEO diagnosis • multi-model measurement These are the same actions we use to get SaaS brands to #1 in LLM search. Save & repost for another team that needs it. Which one of these are you currently prioritizing?
- LinkflowSince 26 Jan 2026
"It's all just good SEO" ^ technically true, but…. …also why most SaaS teams are measuring the wrong outcomes. Traditional SEO optimizes for getting the click. GEO optimizes for being mentioned when the click never happens. Good SEO in 2019: Rank #1 for "best CRM for small business" Result: 8,000 clicks/month Good GEO in 2026: Be named in the AI answer for "what's the best CRM for a 10-person accountancy firm under $50/month" Result: 0 clicks. But the LLM already built the buyer’s shortlist, and you're on it. So yes, GEO is "just good SEO" in that bad content and weak authority signals lose in both systems. But no, it's not entirely the same game. I’ve broken it all down in this table. Share it with your team and hit repost to save another. Want help with good SEO and good GEO? Send me a DM.

One of the big shifts I’ve noticed since the widespread use of AI is how much trade media is being scrutinised. Not because its role has disappeared, but because it’s harder to see its real value at a glance. In technical B2B sectors, trade media has always played a clear role. - It places brands in context. - It connects them to specific trends, challenges and applications. - It reinforces where their expertise actually sits. None of that has changed. What has changed is how that value shows up. When buyers start their research with AI, they’re not reading individual sources. They’re receiving a summarised view of the landscape. And that view is shaped by how consistently a brand appears, how clearly it’s associated with specific topics and how well its expertise is reinforced beyond its own channels. Which is where trade media continues to play a defining role. In our upcoming webinar, we’ll be unpacking this further. If you’re currently rethinking how to adapt your channel strategy , it’s a useful conversation to be part of. Book your place here: https://shorturl.at/ekpHM

TikTok Shop w Polsce? To dopiero początek. ❤️

For anyone who has been on Amazon this morning, you'll have seen that Prime Day has officially been announced! 🎉 After the success of last year's event, Amazon has stuck with the four-day format, running from 23rd–26th June. For brands and advertisers, the extended event creates even more opportunities to capture demand, but it also puts strategy and execution to the test, with rising CPCs, tighter competition, and budget management becoming even more important across all four days. The countdown starts now. I'd be interested to hear from other sellers and advertisers: 👉 Do you prefer the extended four-day Prime Day format, or was the original shorter event more effective for your business? #amazon #Primeday #4dayPrime #AmazonAds

Do you know how many of your Amazon sales you're actually losing to 3P sellers? AMC is capable of much more than answering media related questions and building audiences. Using FSI (Flexible Shopping Insights) through AMC, we've been able to show brands the leakage that exists on Amazon: sales going through their own listings, but not to them. Here are 3 examples: Brand 1 - 7 figures a year being sold by 3P sellers Brand 2 - roughly a fifth of monthly sales going to 3P sellers Brand 3 - up to a quarter of sales going to 3P sellers, varying by locale There's no longer any need to guess how many sales are being lost due to OOS and LFO, or how many are going to 3P sellers. Amazon now gives us this number. That number changes what you can do next. Factor 3P sales into how you think about total investment on the channel, and/or use it as the target to clean up 3P sellers and recognise (and grow) the revenue as your own. If you're a brand doing meaningful volume on Amazon and suspect you're leaking sales but can't put a number on it, let's talk. We can help plug the gap.
