❌ Sending spammy sales messages ❌ Harassing decision-makers ❌ Begging your network for leads It’s time to finally leave all that behind. If you have about 8 minutes, I’ll reveal the easy, (but counterintuitive) method we use to generate business as consultants. You can expect to generate at least 10 B2B opportunities in the next few weeks using this method. Plus, it’s much easier and feels a lot better than what most consultants are doing.

You don’t need more outreach. You need better positioning. Most consultants get trapped in Level 2 - endlessly prospecting, sending cold messages, and hoping this month’s outreach finally lands something solid. Not because they’re bad at what they do — but because they sound like everyone else. The real breakthrough happens at Level 3, when prospects start seeking you out. When your name carries weight, and your calendar fills without constant hustle. That’s what Power Positioning is designed to do. It helps you uncover what truly sets you apart, craft a message that commands respect, and build a system that fills your pipeline without the grind. You’ll learn how top consultants move from being The Prospector to The Authority — booked solid by reputation alone. Want to see how top consultants are doing it in 2025? Gordon Ramsay owns 88 restaurants worldwide. That sounds like a lot. Until you realize it took him 26 years to get there. That's 3.4 restaurants per year. Meanwhile, McDonald's opens 3 restaurants per DAY. Subway has 37,000 locations—they'll franchise to anyone with $100K and a pulse. Gordon Ramsay has 88. And he's worth $220 million. It's not for lack of opportunity. There's a long lineup of investors, hotels, and developers who would kill to open a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. The money is there. The demand is there. Why not open more restaurants? Wouldn't he make more money? Maybe. But Gordon isn't playing the volume game. He's playing the standards game. Every restaurant has to earn the right to carry his name. It has to represent high-end dining, European-influenced cuisine, perfectionist standards, premium positioning. That's what "Gordon Ramsay" means. When you walk into a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, he wants you to believe he could be in that kitchen right now, screaming at a line cook who dared to overcook the wellington. That his standards are everywhere, even when he's not. You can't maintain that illusion with 37,000 locations. Now imagine if Ramsay had no standards—if he just said yes to whatever came along. Mexican restaurants, vegan cafes, airport food courts, strip mall pizzerias. What would "Gordon Ramsay" even mean anymore? Nothing. This is exactly what's happening in your consulting practice. Without a clear vision of what you're building and standards for what you'll take on -- you'll take whatever happens to come your way. Before you know it, you're 10 years in with a track record that looks like a dog's breakfast and you still can't answer a simple question like: "So what do you do?" If you're ready to stop doing "random projects for random clients" and start building a consulting business with a clear focus, standards and purpose... Join me for the next Power Positioning LIVE Workshop. I'll show you exactly how to clarify what you stand for, identify your ideal opportunities, and create positioning so clear that the right projects find you. Just $7 for the complete framework that's helped 1,000+ consultants build intentional practices. Grab your seat here: https://lnkd.in/gmPkSwpx

This is the meeting where your "sure thing" deal goes to die... The meeting felt like a win. They nodded. They asked sharp questions. You gave confident answers. You walked out thinking, "We've got this." But two weeks later, an email shows up: "Thanks for the conversation. The timing isn't right. We'll circle back." You feel blindsided. Frustrated. Blaming the budget. Or the timing. Or the client. Little do you know, you the deal was lost during a conversation you weren't even in the room for. Fifteen minutes after you left, three people on their team sat down. "So... what do we think?" They weren't reviewing your slides. They weren't quoting your insights. They weren't debating your pricing. They were quietly trying to answer three questions you never heard—but absolutely should have. Question 1: "Are they the specialist... or just another smart generalist?" "They said they work in our industry..." "Right, but are we one of ten client types they serve? Or the type they specialize in?" "Not sure." "So how confident are we that their expertise really maps to our situation?" Conclusion: Too broad. Too risky. Question 2: "Is this even worth doing right now?" "They'd help us improve our strategy..." "Okay, but what specific problem are they solving?" "They didn't really spell it out." "Sounds like a lot of work. Do we even have bandwidth?" "Not really." "Let's just put it on the back burner." Conclusion: Unclear value. No urgency. Deferred. Question 3: "How is this different from what we've already tried?" "They mentioned a proven methodology..." "So did the last two consultants." "They focus on implementation." "Everyone says that. What's actually different this time?" ...Silence. Conclusion: Feels like déjà vu. Pass. You thought it was a yes. It was actually a quiet no. And here's the part no one tells you: It wasn't your delivery. It wasn't your pricing. It wasn't timing. It was your positioning—and it didn't survive the room you weren't in. Positioning isn't what you say. It's what gets remembered and repeated after you leave. That's what we fix in the Power Positioning Workshop. How to make your positioning so clear that when the door closes, the answers are obvious: ✅ Yes, they work with clients exactly like us. ✅ Yes, this problem is costing us enough to solve now. ✅ Yes, this approach is different than anything we've tried. Register here: https://lnkd.in/gpDDf9px If you've ever been ghosted after a great meeting—this is why. You didn't lose on price or timing. You lost because your positioning couldn't survive the room you weren't in.

Most consultants fail with cold prospects because they skip straight to “Action.” Clients don’t buy because you asked for a call. They buy because you moved them through a sequence: Attention → Interest → Desire → Action. That’s the classic AIDA model from advertising—and in our latest Consulting Mastery episode, we show you how to apply it to consulting sales. 🎙️ From Cold to Client 👉Why cold messages fall flat. 👉 How to spark curiosity without pitching. 👉 The right way to build desire for your services. 👉 When (and how) to ask for action. Does your positioning command $800K deals? When I first worked with EG 7 years ago, she was a solo consultant charging $10K–$20K per project. Last month, she closed an $820,000 deal. One client. No team. All profit. When she told me, I had to double-check I heard her right. "Yeah," she smiled. "It’s the biggest deal I’ve ever closed. And the perfect client too." I reminded her of something she said years ago when we worked on her pricing: “I’m not getting out of bed for less than $50K anymore.” Now it’s apparently $800K or nothing. But here’s what really stuck with me… She’s not coasting on this. She's capitalizing. She’s now sharpening her positioning even further. Because she knows there are more $800K deals out there waiting for her. She told me: “If I can close a few of these in the next few years, with a few smaller ones in between… I could retire.” And that’s exactly what she’s planning now. Not because she’s burnt out... but because she can. Want to see the positioning strategy behind this transformation? Join me for the next Power Positioning LIVE, and I’ll walk you through: ✅ How to find your own “$800K Position” ✅ Why clients pay more when your positioning goes narrower ✅ A simple test to see if your positioning is working ✅ How to package your expertise so you’re the only option, not just another option $7 to attend. 100% signal. No fluff. Grab your seat here: https://lnkd.in/dC_ZUrqR
