🎤 I'm sharing a stage with Rory Sutherland next week. An honour, a privilege, and... well, a slight stretch tbh but it still counts even if it's virtual, okay? Just like it definitely counted last time I got involved with Gleanin's ACTIVATE and Rand Fishkin was on the bill. ACTIVATE is an hour of snackable lil lightning talks this coming Wednesday 3rd June starting at 2pm BST. It's a marketing event for event marketers about how to market events. Each talk's around 8-10 minutes – even you can concentrate for that long. It's FREE so no begging your boss for budget. Most of the talks are also relevant for freelancers, generalist marketers and marketing-adjacent types. Come along and make me look popular, please. My session is at 2.15pm all about how language can help shorten the gap between you and your audience, including a few examples I've used with my clients. So come along to be nosy if nothing else. Browse the agenda (I'm in the Content track) and sign up to watch right here: https://lnkd.in/e2v3Xyek I'll be in the chat on the day, hope to see you there :)

You can now code an A/B test on Shopify with one prompt to Claude. No designer. No developer. No week in the dev queue. Convert.com's MCP is how. We grew Growth Today from $0 to $1.5M with no paid ads. Here is the exact flywheel that made it possible: The real question is not which channel is best. It is how you build a system where every motion makes the next one better + more efficient. Here is how ours works, stage by stage. Stage 1: Generate demand ↳ LinkedIn content: 7+ team profiles posting consistently, 650K impressions per month at peak ↳ Cold outbound: signal-based, first-party audience first, third-party second ↳ SEO: optimized articles and free mini-tools, auto-updated weekly with Claude Co-work ↳ Partnerships and webinars: monthly sessions with the GTM tools we work with Stage 2: Capture who is paying attention ↳ Comment gate lead magnets on every high-performing post ↳ RB2B and FactorsAI deanonymize website visitors who take no action ↳ Kit newsletter for everyone not ready to book yet Most of the pipeline we need this quarter is already in our database. They are just not ready yet. Stage 3: Score and route automatically ↳ Clay enriches every lead: company size, tech stack, signal strength, ICP fit ↳ Claude scores and assigns the segment: hot, warm, cold ↳ High fit goes to sales immediately. Low fit goes back into nurture. ↳ 90% of this runs without a human in the loop. Stage 4: Run outreach and nurture ↳ Hot leads: 1:1 personalized sequence, human reviewed before sending ↳ Warm leads: automated sequence, Claude-written personalization line ↳ Nurture: 90-day HubSpot sequence for not-yet-ready contacts ↳ Tools: Instantly, HeyReach, Lemlist, HubSpot Stage 5: Convert ↳ 85% of deals are inbound-led ↳ Close in 3-5 calls via Google Meet ↳ Claude's agent preps the brief before every call. ARIA + Rex handles follow-up routing. Stage 6: Retain and expand ↳ Case studies to be used in the sales rooms ↳ Closed-lost re-engagement: 10-15% come back when the cheaper “lead gen gurus” didn’t work out… Why the whole thing compounds: → Cold outreach converts better when prospects already recognise the brand → Organic content tells us what our ICP is interested in + gives us insights on how to future-proof our biz → All these, from cold email to content gives us a loop to reconnect + plant the seeds What’s stopping you from building your own flywheel? 👀 ♻ Reshare if your friend is building something great, or you're a GTM leader whose not getting the ROI because the channels are not connected P.S. If the lack of bandwidth/expertise is the blocker to add $1M / channel, book a time with us, and we can help.

Non-profits are competing for attention in one of the noisiest digital environments in history. And yet most organizations are still treating social media like a bulletin board. 📌 The truth? Social media does not drive donations by accident. It drives them through strategy, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to the story behind your mission. We broke down the 9 content strategies that are actually moving the needle for mission-driven organizations in 2026. 👇 ✅ Impact storytelling that converts ✅ Short-form video done right ✅ UGC campaigns that build trust ✅ Giving day countdowns that create urgency ✅ The data habits that separate growing orgs from stuck ones If your social media looks good but is not producing results, this one is for you. 🔗 Read the full article here.

If there is one page on your organization's website that deserves disproportionate attention, investment, and ongoing optimization, it is your donation page. 💻 Not your homepage. Not your about page. Your donation page. It is the single point in your entire digital ecosystem where a visitor's motivation meets your organization's opportunity. And the difference between a donation page that performs and one that does not is almost never about design aesthetics. It is about strategic architecture. Here is what a high-performing non-profit donation page consistently gets right: ✅ The headline confirms the donor's decision before asking for anything. "Your Gift Today Provides Emergency Shelter for a Family This Week" is fundamentally different from "Support Our Mission." One reinforces impact. One describes an organization. Donors respond to impact. ✅ Suggested giving amounts are tied to specific outcomes. Removing the blank dollar field and replacing it with four or five giving levels, each attached to a concrete impact description, reduces cognitive friction and increases both conversion rate and average gift size simultaneously. ✅ The page has one job. Navigation menus, social links, sidebars, pop-ups, and promotional banners all compete with that job. The highest-performing donation pages in the sector are often the most stripped-down. Every element that is not the form, the impact statement, and the submit button is a distraction. ✅ Recurring giving is prominently offered, not buried. Monthly donors have dramatically higher lifetime value than one-time donors. Organizations that make recurring giving the default option see compounding fundraising returns over time. ✅ The form is short enough to complete in under 60 seconds. Additional information can be gathered after the gift. The initial ask should require as little friction as possible. And above all: the page is treated as a living asset, not a finished product. The best donation pages are refined continuously through A/B testing. Start with your headline and your CTA button. Let the data lead. 📊 Full article below 👇 #NonProfitFundraising #DonationPage #ConversionOptimization #DigitalFundraising #NonProfitMarketing

Love this personalised welcome email OPI are sending to students. One of the biggest advantages of running a closed group offer is the insight you get about the consumer - for the first time, you actually know their age, occupation, student status. And OPI is using that data in a smart, thoughtful way. Excited to see what kind of engagement this message drives. Small touches like this can go a long way in building a genuine connection with a brand.

Not every shopper needs the same little push to hit “buy.” We’ve heard this so many times - blanket discounts might give you a quick boost, but they’re not a long-term strategy. They squeeze your margins, chip away at brand value, and train people to just wait for the next sale. Brands want the benefits of discounts, without the downsides that come back to bite later. That’s pretty much why Gocertify exists. Everything we build is about helping brands give offers that feel smart, relevant, and worth it. The newest thing we’ve rolled out is 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠. Instead of blasting the same offer to everyone, it helps brands have real conversations with shoppers - like sharing a deal based on what they’re checking out, giving them a personal shout-out by name, or responding to how they’re moving around the site. It means your offers feel more personal, more authentic - and you stay fully in control. If you’re curious how brands are already putting it to work, have a look: https://lnkd.in/dnP-TQ4X

Structuring a SaaS website is simple. Strip it back to answering the questions your audience has during their buying journey. "Is this solution relevant to me?" ↳ Make it immediately clear who your ICP is. It's better to be something to someone than all things to all people. ↳ Highlight the roles you help (and how). This is your opportunity to also appeal to budget holders or blockers in the sales process. "How do they solve my challenges?" ↳ Narrow in on the pain your core audience has when executing their jobs to be done ↳ Be outcome-focused, not feature-focused. "Why are they better than alternatives?" ↳ Highlight your key differentiators to your competition. ↳ If you have a few competitors you are positioned well against, consider [competitor] vs [your company] pages. "Have they worked with businesses like ours & what were the outcomes?" ↳ Highlight macro outcomes you've achieved that help your champion create an internal business case (or get you on the shortlist). ↳ Weave in video testimonials from your target personas to help build trust. "How much will it cost & is it in budget?" ↳ The pricing page argument is simple. Either you own the narrative, or your market does. Buyers expect it. You have to be willing to talk about it in some form. ↳ Starting from pricing or ranges and the levers that change the price helps frame a ballpark figure without having to commit to prices up front. "Do they seem knowledgeable about our space?" ↳ Showcase the expertise of your people through webinars, toolkits, and actionable how-to guides ↳ Segment content around roles or verticals to be as specific as possible (which may also support LLM discoverability) "Do they seem easy to buy from?" ↳ Outline what happens next. What are the steps from now to becoming a customer? ↳ Offer alternative ways outside of sales calls to understand your product. e.g. interactive / video demos. This is just a high-level starter; use market feedback (research, web engagement, sales conversations etc.) to continuously shape the journey and messaging. Too often we structure websites around what we want to tell prospects, not the questions they actually have. #saasmarketing #saaswebsites #demandgeneration #b2bmarketing

Modernizing commerce for manufacturers doesn’t have to mean starting from scratch. At Groove Commerce, we’ve guided multiple manufacturers move off legacy platforms while protecting what works and accelerating what’s next. Here’s our playbook: 1/ Protect core systems like ERP 2/ Add modern tools for personalization, AI, and automation 3/ Launch a faster frontend experience customers actually use This approach delivers better customer experiences, faster time to market, and lower risk. Move over, big bang launches. The future is modular, scalable, and built to evolve.

If you couldn’t run ads, post content, or build a brand, how would you grow your startup? Imagine marketing is completely off the table. No funnels. No email flows. No content calendar. No paid channels. What would you do? Most early-stage founders default to marketing for growth, but if you strip that away, you’re left with the raw fundamentals. ✅ A product that solves a sharp, specific problem ✅ 1:1 conversations with people who feel that pain ✅ A few strategic partnerships that get you in the right rooms ✅ Your personal network (and how well you’ve nurtured it) ✅ Manual hustle to land your first 10–20 customers These are the levers that actually move the needle early on. Not SEO. Not a viral video. Not brand. Sometimes the best thing you can do is take “marketing” off the table, because it forces clarity. So here’s the challenge → If you couldn’t market your product, how would you still grow it? ------------------ Need help hiring an expert? 🤔 👉Drop me a message or visit Growth Division to find out more about our amazing community of digital marketing specialists: https://lnkd.in/dMHztsxr

You don’t have a marketing problem; you have a sequencing problem. Early-stage founders want leads, so they jump to channels, but without a strategy built on insight, it’s just guesswork. We’ve worked with 130+ startups at Growth Division, and, unfortunately, far too many of them skip straight to the tactics before they’ve locked down the fundamentals. Instead of asking: “Who’s our customer?” “What pain are we solving?” “What signal proves it’s working?” They ask: “What’s the best channel right now?” “Should we do paid or organic?” “Is our messaging good enough yet?” But the thing is: rushed inputs = stalling growth. A better starting point would look more like this: 1. Target market clarity – one segment, one pain, one big opportunity 2. Strategic insight – interviews, data, pattern recognition 3. Feedback loop – test, learn, adapt 4. Foundations – positioning, offers, brand 5. Only then… do you scale channels You don’t need to nail marketing on day one. You need to run the right playbook, in the right order. ------------------ Need help hiring an expert? 🤔 👉Drop me a message or visit Growth Division to find out more about our amazing community of digital marketing specialists: https://lnkd.in/eTwYm2Nn

⚠️ If You're Still Using 2016 Marketing Tools… You're Losing. GTM – Gets blocked, meaning your ads won’t optimize. GA4 – Doesn’t connect marketing data with revenue, so nobody can give you ROI without random guesses. Excel – Nobody wants another spreadsheet. Zapier – Automations get expensive as you scale. Thankfully, we’re in a mature market where new technologies are built to handle all of this like a pro, without increasing your team size. I have a document that goes into more depth on the best marketing tools based on team size. If you want it, write “TOOLS” in the comments.

We’re incredibly proud to welcome Professor Andrew Gelman to Prophet as our Scientific Advisor. Andrew is one of the most influential minds in modern statistics - notably as the Higgins Professor of Statistics at the University of Columbia, New York - his work has shaped the very foundations of predictive modelling, Bayesian inference, and measurement science. His work has touched almost every meaningful execution in the measurement space today. Having Andrew embedded in Prophet’s inner workings ensures we stay at the frontier of statistical rigour, the cutting-edge and scientific credibility as we advance our mission to build digital clones that help organisations simulate and optimise every decision. This is only the beginning.

Last night, Prophet was named the Most Innovative Company in the The Australian Financial Review Most Innovative Companies Awards - taking out the Marketing & Media category. It’s a pretty surreal moment; but it is a really nice public recognition of all the hard work the entire team has put in. What we’ve built is simple in ambition, but complex in execution - Prophet centralises organisational, marketing, and market data to build a living digital clone of a business. It measures what has happened and simulates what could, helping teams test decisions, understand impact, and act with confidence. To see that thinking recognised like this - and to do it from Melbourne (for now), with a team that’s poured everything into it - means a lot. The Uber for Business team started on Goldcast to scale their video needs From there, it spread across Uber Health and their Customer Marketing teams through word of mouth. The impact has been incredible to see: 🌟 2x increase in registrants 🌟 Record 52% attendance 🌟 25% lift in pipeline from webinars 🌟 Leveraging AI Content Lab to create derivative assets for web/social much faster But more than the numbers, what stood out was how the team described the experience: modern, intuitive, and built for engagement. Huge thanks to Karthik and Arianna for leading the way and showing how thoughtful execution can make all the difference. And thoughtful parterns like Samir Mehta, Stephanie Siemens from Iron Horse supporting the strategy/execution along with the Uber team. Excited to be part of their journey.

Even as AI transforms how we work, it is and will always be the human element that gives technology purpose and meaning. Today, many enterprise organizations are asking the same question: "How can we create valuable video content at scale while leveraging the power of AI?" I believe the answer begins with how we communicate. After all, delivering a world-class experience for our customers, partners, and community starts with connection. In today’s digital world, video has become the most powerful way to create it. Video allows people to see you, hear you, and connect with your authentic self. Subtle cues like voice, tone, and expression build trust and can form real relationships. They remind us that while AI can enhance how we work, it is the human touch that makes every message meaningful. Through Content Lab and with the support of the Goldcast platform, we have been able to scale that Zscaler human connection to new levels. We have 10x’d our video production, expanded our global reach, and achieved nearly 60% attendance on global webinars for our Zscaler Partners. When you leverage technology to amplify authenticity, that is when real connection and real growth can begin. Palash Soni, Kishore Kothandaraman, Kelly Cheng, Lauren Creedon
