My favourite part of working in fulfillment/last mile is being able to power parts of a supply chain for noteworthy brands. That's why this announcement is so exciting for all of us at GoBolt! Fièra Cosmetics has selected GoBolt to power their fulfillment and last mile in the US and Canada. Fiera was in search of a partner who could quickly move their fulfillment from Canada to the US and save them a significant amount of money on shipping costs. Faster fulfillment. No cross-border headaches. Reduced last mile costs. 🤝 🕺

Figuring out the 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘖𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘺 (𝘌𝘖𝘘) means juggling annual demand, holding costs, and ordering costs — usually buried across spreadsheets, inventory logs, and finance systems. And even if you do get the formula right, you still might be working with outdated data. This is why we built Emi. No manual number crunching. No back-and-forths between ops and finance. 💡 The result? Faster decisions. Smarter planning. Cost Savings. 🧠 Want to see how Emi can do this in your NetSuite environment? Every COO has been here. “Don’t worry, I’ll have that supply chain data for you right away.” But what that usually means is: - Waiting on BI tools to refresh - Chasing down spreadsheet links - Digging through email threads - Hoping a NetSuite saved search is up to date It’s not about blaming the tools or the team. This is just how ops data ends up caged in legacy supply chain systems. Sometimes “automated” still feels very manual. Curious what actually automated using AI can look like www.emerix.ai #NetSuite #SupplyChain #AI #Emerix

This is what my (second) brain looks like as COO of a $25M ARR company. This image shows the connections within my Claude Code second brain. Each node is a person, topic, or project. Each line shows how they connect. Over the past 12 months I've combined methods from several Claude Code warlocks, including Karpathy, Noah Brier, and Garry Tan, to build my own personal operating system (oOs). My second brain does three things. — Listen: to every meeting, Slack thread, email, and WhatsApp message. — Organise: all of it into a personal Wikipedia of my life that is always up to date. — Surface: a single markdown document each morning that becomes my primary interface for the day. The daily document contains: — Today's priorities — Draft replies for emails and Slacks — A handoff plan for the tasks I'd like Claude Code to work on, with the clarifying questions it needs to work autonomously for the rest of the day. That document is what I spend most of my day editing. I leave comments on each section (like I would on a Google Doc or Notion). Claude Code reviews these comments and addresses them one by one. It feels like working with an incredible teammate across every project. It sounds intimidating. It is not. Underneath, it is just a folder of markdown files, Python scripts, and cron jobs. A bunch of people have reached out after my recent posts to ask for help. So here is a full write-up and a master prompt you can give to Claude Code to build your own: https://lnkd.in/eXG_q5pg

Imagine how much AI you would need to: — Never lose an important piece of information — Never forget an action item — Know what to focus on today above all else — Comfortably hand off most tasks to an AI agent ...not that much. You need Claude Code / Codex to do three things consistently: — Connect to inputs: meetings, emails, Slack, docs — Extract knowledge and tasks — Complete the tasks with the knowledge it has built and some manual guidance I recorded a podcast with James McAulay about this. It comes out on YouTube next week. Read the full write up / get notified about the video here: https://lnkd.in/eXG_q5pg

"I want to cut transport costs, but I'm not doing part loads. I don't want my goods sitting around in cross-dock warehouses while I lose track of them." That's what my client told me. Straight up. And honestly, fair enough. Nobody wants a lost pallet or a "we're not really sure where the truck is right now." So instead of trying to talk him into it, I suggested a simple test on one shipment. I explained that sharing trailer space doesn't have to mean losing control and getting reloaded five times along the way. We matched his load with another one heading the same direction — a perfect fit (our system checks 5 parameters, from time windows to weight, before it even allows a match). The truck went straight from sender to receiver. Zero handling at hubs. The result? He paid close to a part-load rate, and the whole time he had: → Full real-time tracking, exactly the same as with a dedicated truck → His goods in one vehicle, no reloading, no risk of damage at a hub → Complete CMR paperwork online within 24h of unloading Today he ships most of his freight this way. Turned out he never had to choose between a lower price and keeping his cargo safe. Not sure if your routes could be cheaper without putting your goods at risk? Send me the details of one of your loads and I'll come back with 4 pricing options — you pick whichever suits you best. https://lnkd.in/dnaDE69u

Yesterday, one of my customers called me with an urgent situation. Their original transport solution had fallen through, the goods were ready, the deadline was getting dangerously close, and they needed a replacement truck as soon as possible. There was no time for endless emails or “we’ll check and come back to you.” Together with our operational team, we acted quickly, checked the available options, found a suitable vehicle and got the transport moving. What stayed with me wasn’t the transport itself. It was the fact that the customer came to us when their original plan had already failed — because they trusted us to help. And personally, these are the moments I enjoy most in my job. There’s something incredibly satisfying about hearing “we have a problem” and being able to come back with “we have a solution.” 😊 After 8 years in logistics, this is what trust means to me. Not that nothing ever goes wrong. But that when it does, your customer knows who to call. That’s the kind of partner I want DONE Deliveries to be. #DONEDeliveries #Logistics #Transport #CustomerExperience #Partnership

Across Europe, we’re seeing traditional taxi operators drawn into global platform relationships that appear collaborative, but ultimately serve to fragment and weaken the sector. In Munich, it’s internal strife. In Copenhagen, it’s quiet acquisition. And in Berlin, it’s cultural integration disguised as progress. In the piece I wrote for Personenvervoer Magazine, I unpack how this strategy plays out on the ground... in cities where regulation is being gamed, operators are outflanked, and long-term independence is at risk. But there is real upside ahead. This industry is growing 15% annually, expected to hit €200 billion by 2030, and nearly half (!) of it is still offline. The opportunity is there for those bold enough to think locally, move fast, and build smart. Grateful to Wim Faber for the space to contribute to a conversation that feels more urgent now than ever. "Good enough" delivery is not good enough in healthcare. When a food delivery arrives late, you eat a sandwich instead. When a healthcare delivery fails, someone might not get their medication. A blood transfusion might be delayed. A lab specimen might require another painful draw. There's no comparison. This is why I built our entire delivery model around one core concept: trust. Not speed. Not convenience. Trust. In the healthcare space, there's no room for "maybe" or "probably" or "we'll try." When you're moving lab specimens, medications, or medical equipment, reliability isn't a nice-to-have—it's everything. Our healthcare partners understand this intuitively. That's why they consistently rank professionalism and reliability as their #1 priority, with price as a distant second. They refuse to sacrifice quality for cost savings, because they understand the consequences. There are certainly cheaper alternatives to our service. We're not the budget option, and we don't pretend to be. We're the trusted option. That trust explains why healthcare customers that started with us in a single city have since expanded to 10, 15, even 20 cities. They wouldn't give us more if they didn't trust us—especially when cheaper alternatives exist. We thrive on mission-critical work. It's what we're built for. What's the cost of delivery failure in your business? If the answer involves more than just inconvenience, I'd love to talk to you.

If you work in healthcare logistics long enough, you start to see the same issues surface again and again. Delays, broken chain of custody, missed deliveries that throw off an entire day of care. I used to think these were just the cost of doing business. But lately, it’s clear we’re at a turning point. Healthcare logistics is expected to hit $200 billion by 2032. That’s not just growth—it’s a shift in how care gets delivered. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴: - We’ve got an aging population with more complex needs - Medications like Ozempic require cold-chain handling and tight delivery windows - Patients expect fast, reliable service—because that’s what they get everywhere else 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯: AI and IoT are giving us real-time tracking we didn’t have even a few years ago. I watched a demo where a vaccine shipment was monitored for temperature the entire way. The alerts kicked in the moment something drifted out of range. That kind of transparency changes how you operate. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹: UPS is doubling down on healthcare and investing heavily in cold-chain. FedEx is winning contracts by designing custom procedures around critical deliveries. This isn’t about volume—it’s about precision and trust. 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺: Walgreens is delivering prescriptions same-day from thousands of stores. That used to be an edge. Now it’s expected. From what I’ve seen, the companies that are making real progress in this space are doing a few things differently: - They treat reliability like a non-negotiable - They integrate tech into their operations instead of layering it on top - And they understand that healthcare isn’t retail—it comes with different rules, different stakes, and no room for error I’ve watched too many generalist logistics firms try to “add healthcare” to their offerings without making the real changes that are needed. It doesn’t work. The gaps show up quickly. If you’re working in or around this space, I’d be curious what you’re seeing. Are these shifts showing up in your day-to-day too?

Data is Money - And A lot of data is a lot of money! From my chartering days to my work with digital performance at Danelec, one thing keeps popping up in fleet and vessel performance optimization: And it’s rarely ambition nor tools that hold operations back it’s the data foundation. Before we talk AI, digital twins or fancy analytics, the real question is: How confident are you in data flowing from ship to shore? If that data is scattered, highly manual, or inconsistent… there is a risk that fleet performance quickly turns reactive. In my experience, real progress starts with something very unglamorous: Reliable, (ideally) high‑frequent vessel data you can trust. What’s the biggest data challenge you see in fleet performance today? We give #distributors their time back. - We turn chaotic last-minute orders into seamless solutions. - We help teams say "yes" to customers when they used to have to say "maybe tomorrow."
