My why behind iTAV Software & Services. My mom has never been diagnosed with dementia but she has extreme memory loss. If it weren’t for my father, she would struggle mightily to navigate the complexities of Medicare. When I contemplated my next career move, making a difference in the lives of people like my mom was the most important part of this founder journey. Having been in corporate America for three plus decades and in the C-Suite for nearly fifteen years, admittedly in some rooms people were just statistics or numbers. I wanted to be the healthcare executive and the founder to give names and faces to under-represented populations like the “front line employees” in health plans that serve “people like my mom”. Meet my mom, Willie Mae Collier, a Medicare beneficiary. #iTAV #PeopleFirstTechCo #ProfitPurposeCoexist #AEP2026

Have you ever heard of the "physiological sigh"? 😮💨 It’s a simple breathing tool that can cut through stress within seconds – two in-breaths followed by a slow exhale. In the video I walk you through exactly how to do it. This quick practice helps clear carbon dioxide from the bloodstream and naturally triggers the body’s calming response. A small shift you can use any time stress starts to rise. #StressSupport #Breathwork #HealthyMind #Resilience #HealthMatters

Many professionals are driven by an inner voice, but for some, it’s not a coach, it’s a critic 🎯 A good inner coach pushes you forward, reminds you of what you’re capable of, helps you grow. A critic does the opposite. It questions, judges and limits you, creating a ceiling you can’t quite break through. One powerful way to shift that balance is to externalise those critical thoughts. Write them down, look at them, challenge them. Turn “I’m useless” into something grounded and true: “I’m talented, I work hard and I get things done.” Bit by bit, you quiet the critic and give more space to your coach 🧠

Viele kennen das alte Szenario: HIN Mail ist und war sicher – aber für viele Empfänger nicht immer leicht zu öffnen. Would you like to invest in an innovation that helps thousands of people stay independent at home for longer? One that could also support you or a family member in the future? At Good Life Sorted, we have built a unique business model and created a new niche: pre-care. Our Helpers are not carers, they provide everyday support such as shopping, transport, light cleaning and companionship. This makes daily life easier and reduces loneliness, helping older people live well at home. When I first started, asking for investment was hard. It was a brand new idea and not yet proven. But six years on, after more than 500,000 hours of help delivered and so much lovely feedback, we have shown not only that the need exists, but that this is exactly what people want. We are now crowdfunding on Crowdcube. Take a look here: https://lnkd.in/eKEmJNCQ

At Upperbay Counseling & Support Services, our use of Greenspace Health and their Measurement-Based Care platform has completely transformed the care we deliver and the way we demonstrate the impact of our services. MBC has helped empower our clinicians to stay more connected to how clients are doing throughout treatment, and has given us the data and insights we need to continually strengthen our programs in clinically impactful and measurable ways. As well, for the first time, we’re able to easily demonstrate client outcomes and improvement to the people who support and fund our work. We’ve worked with Greenspace for over five years and they have been the most supportive and solutions-oriented vendor I’ve ever worked with. Their commitment to ensuring we’re successful has been apparent since day one, and continues many years later. I know MBC is a hot topic in behavioral health circles right now, so I wanted to share my positive experience with MBC and highlight our partners at Greenspace for their MBC expertise and incredible support. In less than two weeks, FUTRUE Neurosciences plans to implant the world’s highest-resolution "brain chip" designed "to write information back" into the brain in a patient for the first time. Our microECoG — a micro-electrode array thinner than half a human hair — is designed to read brain signals and, importantly, to send information back into the brain with a very high resolution. Unlike many other Brain-Computer Interface approaches, including Elon Musk’s Neuralink, our technology does not penetrate brain tissue. It is placed on the surface of the brain. The goal is to explore the limits of high-resolution cortical stimulation with mikro-ECOGS — and to understand how we can one day restore natural sensory feedback to patients with paralyzed limbs. I am convinced that, for this application, we have developed the most advanced Brain-Computer Interface in the world. We are more than on track in our mission to build the world’s leading Brain-Computer Interface platform. #FutrueNeurosciences #ClemensFischer #Futrue #BCI #ECOG

HR teams have improved everything about how we work. Except the ONE thing we use most. We prioritise mental health, hybrid working and perks. But the a key organ everyone uses to work...? Still overlooked. Eye care in the workplace is broken. We speak to HR teams all the time who’ve invested in the old, traditional eye care benefits. But on average, only 6% of employees actually use them. That’s despite 90% of employees using screens and experiencing digital eye strain. And on top of that, it’s costing businesses 4.1 days per employee, every year. People are finishing early or stretching their breaks because their eyes are tired. Here’s the problem. Most eye care voucher schemes / internal policies are built for the 30% of employees who already wear glasses. The 70% who don’t? They’re overlooked. And when using the benefit means finding a policy, requesting a voucher and waiting for approval, it’s no surprise engagement is so low. That’s why we built something better. A simple online eye screening employees can do in 4 minutes from their phone or laptop. And a managed voucher service that removes the admin and the noise. No chasing policies. No inbox clutter. No bulk buying. Just a clear, proactive route to better eye health at work. Because this shouldn’t be a tick-box benefit. It should actually help people feel and perform better. Curious how your team compares to the 6% average? Get in touch or leave a comment. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/e-kKjaXT

The social media team didn’t want me to put this out… BUT we’ve been working hard on creating something for workforces. Both in the UK and globally. As an optometrist led team, we realised… That, eye care benefits are broken. It’s a tick box exercise in the UK. But, with all the screen time…. surely employees need more?! We’ve developed an online pathway for employees… To screen their eyes from a smartphone or laptop in 4 mins. If they need a full eye examination, we arrange that… Via a digital eye test voucher for them. Expensing receipts? No longer needed…. Ensuring employees use issued vouchers, we remind them once issued… Meaning less wastage (oops - I forgot to use it) BUT More engagement & healthier sight with MORE productive employees. Win, win - right? Sorry, not sorry social media team… The message was too important to wait for you to piece together. P.S. - if you want to learn how employers are already winning with our digital eye care benefit visit https://lnkd.in/e-kKjaXT or leave a comment. Hopefully my newbie social media attempt was not in vain!

The last 48 hours have been peak “dad mode.” - Tuesday: our youngest had a procedure. - Yesterday: our middle got sick at school (and yes, puked on me during pickup). - Last night: our oldest showed us a new rash he noticed. Weeks like this happen to every family — unpredictable, messy, and exhausting. As I tried to sleep last night with my brain running in every direction, the thought kept occurring to me - This is my why. This is why I’m so passionate about what I do at Healthee: helping families take back control where they can, saving time, money, and stress so they can focus on what matters most. Thankfully, the Healthee App gave me instant, free access to telehealth for my oldest — no late-night trip to urgent care or follow-up with our pediatrician needed. Once the kids were finally asleep, I opened our latest hospital bill (because with three kids under four, there’s always one). I noticed a charge that didn’t look right, so I went back to the Healthee App and flagged it to our Benefits Specialists to review - no time spent researching codes or sitting on hold with the carrier. Benefits shouldn't be as complex or expensive as they are, but I'm proud to be able to have a tool that not only helps my family, but helps millions of other families as well.

Inlightened's AI in healthcare survey reveals both enthusiasm and caution: more than half of doctors surveyed are using AI in areas like documentation, billing, and diagnostics, but only 28% feel truly prepared to leverage its power safely. Those statistics say one thing loud and clear: successful innovation requires more than impressive demos; it requires building trust and meaningful products with insights from HCPs. According to our survey results, doctors need: ✅ Tools designed around their daily routines ✅ Transparent benchmarks they can rely on ✅ Seamless integration with existing EHR systems ✅ Ongoing education and robust support Perhaps most importantly, conversations about accountability and safety must be front and center. As one participant shared, “Trust matters, especially when doctors know they’ll be held responsible for any AI-generated errors.” There’s a tremendous opportunity right now: 1 in 5 respondents see themselves as behind on AI adoption. Developers who truly move the needle will prioritize physician involvement, design for inclusivity and bias reduction, and deliver solutions that improve the experience for clinicians, staff, and patients. If you’re involved in building at the intersection of healthcare and AI, read more on what clinical stakeholders need from AI innovators in my guest article in Healthcare IT Today: https://lnkd.in/gjrubjtQ #AIinHealthcare #HealthTech #DigitalHealth #ArtificialIntelligence #MedicalAI #PatientCare
- GenentechRecorded 20 Sept 2026
Last week, I had the privilege of joining colleagues from around the world in San Diego for the Clinical Trials on Alzheimer’s Disease (#CTAD) conference. Having two decades of experience in #neuroscience, witnessing the energy around #Alzheimer’s was more than invigorating—it was a powerful reminder of the relentless commitment required to combat this disease. While we’ve seen continued progress over the past three years in Alzheimer’s treatments and diagnostics, truly changing the trajectory of this devastating neurodegenerative disease requires continuous research, resilience and a willingness to explore new paths. My top three takeaways that define the path ahead: 1. We are stronger when we learn from our challenges: The momentum we’re seeing is grounded in scientific problem-solving, and a clear recognition that persistence - not perfection - is the key to delivering potential impact and hope. 2. The next frontier of drug delivery is here: We are moving beyond the limitations of first-generation anti-amyloid treatments by engineering molecules for success that have the potential to bridge the blood-brain barrier. 3. Personalizing the pipeline is critical: Our strategy is not singular – from next-generation bispecific antibodies to approaches like oral gamma secretase modulators – we are designing with an end-to-end approach in mind. The question is no longer whether disease modification is possible, but how quickly can we deliver it. I invite you to read more about @Genentech’s persistence and purpose here: https://lnkd.in/gCv9p6pG #AlzheimersDisease #BrainHealth #Neurodegeneration #AlzheimersResearch

- Flouria HealthSince 30 Jun 2026
Last summer I was 7 months postpartum. A baby I adored, a business I loved, and more than enough photos of our little family smiling on the beach. And yet... In the moment, I thought I was functioning pretty well. But then I started to notice something was off. 🌪️ More moody and irritable 😴 Sleep anxiety and insomnia 🌫️ Forgetfulness and brain fog 🥱 Feeling exhausted (even after good nights of sleep) 😶🌫️ Difficulty concentrating, trouble finishing tasks and making decisions My brother-in-law was getting married and I couldn't find a dress I felt comfortable in. When invited to something social, my gut reaction was tense instead of excited. Most of all, I had this lingering feeling that I still wasn’t myself. So we decided I would be Patient Zero for our Postpartum care path at Flouria Health. I started tracking my symptoms, got my blood and hormones tested, then had a 45 minute consultation with Lotte Van Dijk about my case. To be honest, it was an absolute game changer. For me, the solution was simple. Bio-identical progesterone supplementation during my luteal phase, and iron supplementation for my low ferritine. Within days of the progesterone, I felt better. Lighter, calmer, less reactive, more joyful, and functioning better at work. I felt sharper, like a fog lifted. I felt like myself again. It’s a feeling I would wish for every woman and mother 💗 Hormone therapy in my 30’s was not something I ever considered I would need, especially since the term still carries a somewhat negative association. The pill is subscribed to millions of women with no questions asked, but for some reason, bio-identical hormones are still met with scepticism. When we give birth, our hormones plummet to post-menopausal levels. For some women, they recover. For others, it isn’t so straightforward, and we just need a little help. We’re all told the struggle is just part of being a woman. Part of becoming a mother. But it’s ok to want your spark back, and to feel like yourself again. You don’t need to be in crisis mode to seek help. I learned that the right advice from the right doctor can help you go from a 7 to a 10. And in my opinion, every mama deserves to feel like a 10. Especially in the summer ☀️✨ Does any of this sound familiar? I'd love to hear your story.
- Fresenius GroupSince 17 Sept 2026
Today, on World Patient Safety Day, let us take a moment to recognize the unique role patient safety plays in healthcare. I often highlight how we at Fresenius Group strive to make care more effective, accessible, and innovative. Right at the center of all of these efforts, however, sits patient safety. This is especially true for people living with chronic diseases. As care for this patient group is more frequent and more complex, cumulative risk creates an additional challenge. At Helios Kliniken GmbH in Germany, we recently expanded our Closed-Loop Medication Management system, a fully digital process that tracks medication from prescription, pharmacy verification and personalized and automated dispension to administration. A bedside scan now adds a final safety check by verifying both the patient and the medication before administration, helping to reduce medication errors. Studies have shown that technologies such as barcode-assisted medication administration can significantly reduce medication errors. Innovation is also improving patient safety at our Quirónsalud hospitals in Spain. Healthcare-associated infections remain a significant challenge, which is why Quirónsalud developed ARGOS, an AI-powered surveillance platform that continuously analyzes clinical data to help identify infection risks earlier and enable faster intervention. What I find particularly encouraging is that these innovations among a vast bundle of systematic and standardized security measures are not about replacing people. They are about supporting them. Technology can strengthen patient safety, but healthcare remains a fundamentally human-to-human endeavor. It is the expertise of physicians, the vigilance of nurses, and the dedication of healthcare teams that ultimately make the difference for patients. My heartfelt thanks go to our teams who save and improve human lives. Thank you for your dedication, expertise, and commitment to delivering safe care every single day. #FreseniusCommittedToLife
