𝗦𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘆. Trust is earned by delivering concrete results. This is what CEOs must do to attract investors and the same principle applies to Germany as an investment destination. Our Invest in Germany panel at Berlin Global Dialogue focused on precisely this challenge. Special thanks to Lars-Hendrik Röller and Germany’s “Chief Investment Officer,” Martin Blessing for a meaningful exchange today in Berlin. We are in the midst of a new world order that is much more transactional, shifting the strategic priorities of many countries from maximizing efficiency toward (re)building resilience and sovereignty. And we have to acknowledge an uncomfortable reality: other regions are currently better at turning strategic priorities into action. This new world order will test whether Germany and Europe can deliver better outcomes while staying true to our democratic values. For me, two words are key: speed and scale. We have many of the ingredients for success: great companies, outstanding science, talent and innovation. But too often, fragmentation keeps us from translating these strengths into large-scale industrial success. AI makes this even more urgent. Creating a true European single market and removing unnecessary barriers within Europe are essential to achieving both. At the same time, we need to think much more strategically about our dependencies. Strategic autonomy does not mean strategic autarky. It means understanding where the chokepoints are, where dependencies can become dangerous vulnerabilities, and where we need to build strong ecosystems of our own. Healthcare is a good example. We still look at it too often through the lens of cost. But healthcare is a strategic industry and should be treated as one. In the U.S. and China, this strategic importance is much more widely recognized. A resilient society needs reliable, high-quality care and secure access to critical medicines and active pharmaceutical ingredients. And the convergence of biology, AI and data is opening up enormous opportunities. We need to ensure that more of the next generation of healthcare innovation is developed, applied and scaled in Europe. Germany has enormous potential as an investment destination. Now we need to make the most of it. There is no time to lose. Or, to put it in tennis terms: we need to fight for every point and avoid unforced errors. Thank you, Lars-Hendrik and Martin, for a great discussion on a topic that could hardly be more relevant. #BGD2026 #FutureFresenius #FreseniusCommittedToLife

Great energy at the Visionaries event yesterday in Berlin! A vibrant community of founders and creators who don’t just talk about the future. They want to build it, shape it and make an impact. And yes, I may have pushed up the average age in the room a little. 😉 I very much like to immerse myself in this community from time to time. To listen. To learn. To stay close to the people creating what’s next. One message came through loud and clear: AI is here, change is exponential, and the future will not wait for us. There is a generation of entrepreneurs ready to step up and turn great ideas into real impact - real impact for Europe. Great to catch up with Christian Albrecht from Avelios Medical. We invested in Avelios because we believe in what they are building and that they will be successful.

#FreseniusCommittedToLife #TeamFresenius

I am honored to share that Fresenius Group has been named Investor’s Darling 2026 by manager magazin, Berenberg, and HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management securing the highest overall score in this year’s ranking and taking first place in the DAX40 category. This is a very meaningful recognition for Fresenius. When we started our #FutureFresenius journey in 2022, one of our most important priorities was to rebuild trust with the capital markets and restore confidence in our company. Improving our capital market communication was therefore a fundamental objective. We knew it would enable us to provide stakeholders with a clear understanding of our position, our priorities, and our ambitions. This award is therefore a much-appreciated external validation of the significant progress we have made throughout, and especially during, the Rejuvenate phase of our strategy. It reflects how far we have come as an organization and how strongly we have established capital market communication with all our stakeholders. I would like to sincerely thank our Fresenius Investor Relations team under the leadership of Nick S. This recognition belongs to all of you. Going from second place last year to Investor's Darling this year is a remarkable achievement. More importantly, it is a well-deserved recognition of the outstanding work you do every day. Let's also look at this award as a challenge to keep raising the bar as we enter the next phase of our #FutureFresenius journey, Reimagine. Congratulations to our Investor Relations team and to the many colleagues across Fresenius whose contributions helped make this achievement possible. Full ownership of mAbxience gives us complete control over cost, capacity and launch timing, as well as the full economic benefit, as the next wave of biologics loses exclusivity. For patients, that means dependable access to high-quality biosimilars; for shareholders, it is a disciplined investment in a business we know well. The transaction builds on a successful partnership that began with our initial investment in mAbxience four years ago and has already delivered important development, manufacturing, technology-transfer and regulatory achievements. We want to build on this momentum. The acquisition of the remaining stake in mAbxience is therefore an important milestone on our #FutureFresenius journey. It strengthens our Biopharma business, which has performed exceptionally well in recent years and is gradually becoming a true earnings powerhouse. The biosimilars market is one of the most exciting and dynamic areas in healthcare. These biologics enable highly effective treatment at affordable prices, making these medicines more accessible, particularly for chronically and critically ill patients with cancer or autoimmune diseases. We are seeing more and more healthcare systems around the world embrace biosimilars – and we want to help shape this development for the benefit of patients. A very special thank you to mAbxience CEO Jurgen Van Broeck and his team for the excellent collaboration over the past few years and for their entrepreneurial drive and scientific expertise. We look forward to continuing this journey together and are delighted to welcome the mAbxience team to Fresenius Group. My thanks also go to Dr. Sang-Jin Pak and the Biopharma team at Fresenius Kabi, who have set new standards for relevance and innovation in recent years. Keep it up! #Biosimilars #FutureFresenius #FreseniusCommittedToLife

Today, on World Patient Safety Day, let us take a moment to recognize the unique role patient safety plays in healthcare. I often highlight how we at Fresenius Group strive to make care more effective, accessible, and innovative. Right at the center of all of these efforts, however, sits patient safety. This is especially true for people living with chronic diseases. As care for this patient group is more frequent and more complex, cumulative risk creates an additional challenge. At Helios Kliniken GmbH in Germany, we recently expanded our Closed-Loop Medication Management system, a fully digital process that tracks medication from prescription, pharmacy verification and personalized and automated dispension to administration. A bedside scan now adds a final safety check by verifying both the patient and the medication before administration, helping to reduce medication errors. Studies have shown that technologies such as barcode-assisted medication administration can significantly reduce medication errors. Innovation is also improving patient safety at our Quirónsalud hospitals in Spain. Healthcare-associated infections remain a significant challenge, which is why Quirónsalud developed ARGOS, an AI-powered surveillance platform that continuously analyzes clinical data to help identify infection risks earlier and enable faster intervention. What I find particularly encouraging is that these innovations among a vast bundle of systematic and standardized security measures are not about replacing people. They are about supporting them. Technology can strengthen patient safety, but healthcare remains a fundamentally human-to-human endeavor. It is the expertise of physicians, the vigilance of nurses, and the dedication of healthcare teams that ultimately make the difference for patients. My heartfelt thanks go to our teams who save and improve human lives. Thank you for your dedication, expertise, and commitment to delivering safe care every single day. #FreseniusCommittedToLife
