Yes, approvals can close in 30 days. Yes, milestone payments can land in 5 business days. That’s real. I’ve seen it happen again and again when developers come prepared with permitted or in-construction projects. The result? Deals move faster, communication stays clear, and everyone crosses the finish line on time. If you’re holding a project that fits this description, let’s talk. I still have $80M to deploy before year-end. If you’re a developer or EPC with a shovel-ready solar project that’s: Already permitted Already under construction Around 700kW system size (~$2M value) Let’s make it happen before December 15. Multiple factors determine my budget: ITC eligibility, SRECs, price per watt, annual production, and project escalators. Send me your financial model, and I’ll let you know if it fits. Not all integrations are created equal. And that's why we're incredibly excited to announce Sphere's NATIVE integration with Stripe. With this new integration, Sphere will have native API access into Stripe Billing and Checkout products which provides the following benefits: 🧱 No-code, instant setup (literally flick a toggle in your settings vs setting up webhooks) ✅ No errors and admin headaches (we have direct API access vs other solutions which use webhooks that break all the time) ⚡️ Immediate tax calculation on invoices AND checkout (lightning fast speed, pushed straight into Stripe tax objects) 💵 Accurately accommodate tax implications of refunds / credit notes (which other vendors cannot do) This was built in conjunction with the Stripe Billing and Checkout team to be a completely seamless, plug-and-play experience. And it was announced today at their Sessions conference! Want to get started? Download the Sphere app in the Stripe App Marketplace today: https://lnkd.in/gmKa_vZ2

There’s a common question that comes up in almost every demo call we have at Sphere: “How do you make sure your AI is getting our tax right?” The simple answer is: our AI research model isn't the same as your regular ChatGPT/Claude search. Tools like ChatGPT and Claude weren't built to reason over constantly changing tax law - they’re typically trained on a snapshot of the internet. Tax law is a living and breathing beast. It’s jurisdiction-specific and full of edge cases that don't make it into training data. So when you ask Gemini a tax question, you often get a confident answer that was maybe true, somewhere, at one point in time. Here’s how TRAM (our AI-native tax research system) is different: → It continuously ingests primary source legislation, guidance, bulletins, and rulings directly from tax authorities - not the internet generally (so it’s not learning from what some random guy said on Reddit 4 years ago) → It uses fine-tuned reasoning models trained specifically for multi-step legal and tax reasoning → Every determination it makes comes with citations back to the actual source material → Before anything goes live into our tax engine, a Sphere tax expert reviews and approves it We’re not replacing humans, we're just making tax research faster, more reliable and scalable. TRAM does the heavy lifting of finding, reading, and reasoning over the law, then our experts spend minutes, not days/weeks reviewing each determination. I use Claude every day - for work research, planning my SF weekend getaways, finding recipes and more. General LLMs are great at many things but high-stakes tax research isn't one of them. There's money quietly leaking out of grassroots football, and most of the people running these clubs don't know the scale of it. Not through anything dramatic. Through fees. A percentage here, a rate there, on software and services that volunteers rely on to save time. It adds up to thousands a year, and almost none of it is priced for what grassroots football actually is - clubs run by volunteers, on tight budgets, where every pound out adds to the load on people already doing too much for free. When I started Centre Circle, I wasn't thinking about payments. I was thinking about grassroots football. About the clubs, the volunteers, and the kids who get more chances when the people running them aren't buried in costs and admin. But payments became a problem I couldn't ignore. The rates we were on weren't built for our sector, and every pound leaving in fees was a pound that wasn’t reaching the next generation. That bothered me. So we went looking. We spoke to most of the big providers. Plenty wanted the business. What we couldn't find was one whose pricing actually made a difference to our clubs - until we found Ryft. Payments built into the platform, so clubs never leave it to pay. Pricing that actually adds up. And a team that felt like partners rather than a supplier. The result: clubs are saving thousands a year in fees, on average. There aren't many people who can go to a club right now and say "Your costs are coming down." When everything else is going up, that sentence is almost unheard of. Being able to say it - that's the whole reason Centre Circle exists.

Recently made the switch to ŌURA and I'm loving it ✨💍 For a while I wore a Whoop and it was great. But I kind of felt like I had to choose between wearing something functional or something that felt like me. I'm a gold jewellery girl, so Oura doesn't look like a gadget on my wrist, it feels like part of my everyday style. At the same time, I can still track the things I care about to stay on-top of my goals - like my sleep, steps and workouts. I think the best changes are the ones that fit into your lifestyle without you even thinking about them, which is how Oura feels for me so far 💕

#Accountancy #Peppol #EFacturatie #Digitalisering #Ondernemen #Lucy

A lot of you asked to see the real product, so here it is. Starting a short series on how Eagl actually works. First up: the Financial Controlling Agents. This one's a quick overview of what the agents do and how finance teams work alongside them day-to-day. Next in the series: Knowledge, Accruals, and the Data Quality agents that catch and correct misclassified bookings, such as the wrong cost center, cost unit, GL account or project. As any self-respecting vlogger would say: like and follow for the rest.

I've spent enough time around finance teams to know what financial controlling actually looks like. It's a lot of back and forth with colleagues just to get the data right. What if it was right from the start, not corrected at the very end of the close? We built Eagl's controlling agent to take that off their plate. It runs the review proactively and surfaces what needs attention. The controller decides what to do with it. Posted a short video today on how it works. Worth a watch if you close across more than one entity with high transaction volume.

Building Sapien has been the most fulfilling journey of my life so far, and it still feels like day one. In recent months, we’ve only grown more convinced of our vision: Sapien can enable every company in the world to run better. Every business sits on enormous opportunity, hidden across disconnected financial, sales, and operational data. Unlocking it requires systems that deeply understand how the company actually works: what it sells, how its channels interact, what drives profit, and where it has room to improve. Building that understanding is an engineering and operational challenge. It requires new ways for AI to reason across data and learn the nuances of each business, interfaces that make those capabilities useful to people across the company, and a team that can bring all of it together. Over the last year, our team has grown fivefold, we’ve welcomed amazing new customers, and we’ve outgrown our old space and moved into a beautiful new office in Flatiron. What’s been most fulfilling is seeing the people on both sides of this: our team building things they’re proud of, and our customers discovering what’s possible in their own businesses. Thank you to Sheryl Estrada at Fortune for sharing a window into our customers, team, and what we’re building. There’s so much more ahead; I’m excited to share more of the customer and team stories behind Sapien in the coming days and weeks.

Cooper Standard is the world’s leading provider of vehicle sealing systems. Every day, its products help keep water out of cars and critical fluids contained so vehicles can run as intended. With 120+ facilities and $3B+ in sales, millions of parts move through plants, suppliers, and vehicle programs. Increasing profit requires a clear view of how materials, suppliers, and component costs connect across the operation. Cooper Standard has partnered with Sapien to bring this operational rigor to its business. Together, we have expanded program-cost analysis from using only 10% of Cooper Standard’s data to providing full operational visibility, reduced analyses that took days to 5 minutes, and uncovered more than $2 million in initial inventory savings, just to name a few of our early wins. Sapien's value is spreading across Cooper Standard. Finance, supply chain, inventory, commercial, and plant teams are using Sapien to drive the business forward, from costs and inventory to pricing and manufacturing performance. As Senior Finance Manager Michael Noble put it, “Anywhere where we are data-rich, whether it is cost, the prices we sell on, or manufacturing KPIs, we can use Sapien to bring out those key insights and share them with leadership in an actionable way.” Director of Information Technology Patricia Dominguez has seen demand for Sapien grow from within the company. “It is not us trying to push the platform. It is the users wanting to have access to this platform.” Thank you to Patricia Dominguez, Michael Noble, Clayton Boberg, MBA, Javier Scandar Palacios Raposo, Benoit Delignon, and the broader Cooper Standard team for your trust and partnership. Cooper Standard helps keep vehicles safe and reliable around the world. We are proud to help its teams turn complex data into confident decisions.

The CEO of a $1.8B RIA yesterday confirmed my assumption... "Send The Contract" - it doesn't get more clearer than that. The RIAs using Fynancial in the near future will no longer have to rely on "Tags" to segment their messaging to various clients/prospects via app communication. Tags are nice, but tags are static. Client data, on the other hand, changes every single day. "I want to send our internal resources and various articles around their specific holdings. We've tried to do this via email, but it just doesn't work. I want to create this type of personalization so we are always top of mind, and clients are receiving the exact information based on investment holdings, last meetings, and much more." In the past, I would have said that's just not possible. Now "So like this." "Give me a list of clients that hold Apple." "Send this PDF to those clients via Feed today at 2 PM." ..... "Send the contract." https://lnkd.in/ehfZ5Hfi 👈 Book A Demo Here

Craig Iskowitz and Michael Kitces nailed it on their recent podcast. We're experiencing this firsthand with Fynancial - barely 25% want AI to automate "everything" - almost all advisors want AI to make them more efficient Back-office team members might be okay pounding a chatbot all day long to find specific insights within their tech stack / data Client-facing advisors? No way. Being able to ask your app anything? Absolutely. This works because we make the delivery of the insights surfaced by the AI EASY. More importantly, the insights are actually read. The future isn't AI + Data It's AI + Data + Delivery - powered by the advisor's voice, and delivered through their own app. It's never been easier to get the right message to the right client at the right time. Is this efficiency? I think so. https://lnkd.in/ehfZ5Hfi 👈 Book a demo here

If I were a CFO again, this would be my 30-60-90 day playbook. I used to be a CFO. I also used to hire dozens of FP&A managers, CFOs, etc. And you know what separates the great ones? What they do in their first 90 days. Not just what they say. But what they set up. What they prioritize. How they listen. So I wrote the full 30-60-90 day guide I wish I had when I started. Here’s how I’d break it down: 🟢 Phase 0: Before day 1 Goal: Stalking mode activated. Learn everything about the company before you even get the Slack invite. To-do: → Ask the CEO and COO to send you everything: — The latest financial model. — Forecasts and annual/quarterly plans. — The most recent P&L, cash flow statement, and balance sheet — The finance team’s org chart and KPIs — Any strategic docs, pitch decks, investor updates. → Write down every question that pops up. → Learn what the business is trying to achieve — not just what it reports. You’ll walk in more prepared than 90% of CFOs. 🟢 Phase 1: Week 1 Goal: See what’s actually going on and don’t touch anything yet. To-do: → Meet with your CEO. Ask what KPIs for the next quarter and year, what is the key financial goal for founders and the CEO (valuation, cash flow, profitability). Ask about strategic objectives for the business: any plans for M&A, revenue scaling, fundraising, etc? Lunch is better than a Zoom call (I promise you). → Review the full finance stack. What tools do they use? Where are the spreadsheets? What’s broken? How is data consolidated? Gather everything better in a map format (you can use Figma or any other visual tools for that) with data flows, reports, etc. Don’t change anything yet.. Ok, I know this post is getting long… so I've dropped the full 30-60-90 day CFO plan in a Notion doc. If you're interested, please comment and I’ll send it over. And tell me: → What’s one thing you’d want your CFO to do in their first 90 days? (or, if you are a CFO — what’s your go-to move when joining a new company?)

How does Clair’s AI engine decide whether the data we get from payroll and workforce software partners is reliable enough to make pay available on-demand, assuming we want to take near-zero repayment risk? Answer: Think of it like a jury. One juror is good, but thousands are better. That's the simple but powerful analogy our lead data scientist, Veronika Shmagina, uses to explain our proprietary AI model, Clair Atlas. In this clip from our recent fireside chat, Veronika breaks down how Atlas works: a series of "decision trees" that learn from each other's mistakes to get progressively smarter on the rare edge cases of underwriting based on payroll and workforce data. Most importantly, she explains why we chose a model that is highly explainable. For us, trust and transparency aren't features; they're essential. Take a look to see how we're building the future of underwriting, responsibly.

How will GenAI impact fintechs? Credit decisions must be transparent and explainable - for our users and for our bank partners' regulators. So, does Clair Atlas use GenAI? The answer is yes. We don't use it for the core scoring decision. We do use it for what it's great at: data enrichment. In this clip from our fireside chat, our lead data scientist Veronika Shmagina explains our philosophy: use the right tool for the right job and never sacrifice transparency.

I didn’t start Fuel to build “better spreadsheets.” I started it because I’ve seen too many founders have anxiety about managing their finance. I spent 10+ years in finance. Hundreds of financial models. Thousands of reports. Hundreds of thousands of hours talking with entrepreneurs and fixing their financial challenges. I’ve seen founders who: → Haven’t slept because they worry about whether they can pay their bills → Sold their homes to finance their business → Have anxiety because they can’t understand what will happen next month or next quarter → Made awesome projects and got nothing from them financially (yes, no dividends and only unexpected losses) Financial problems don’t just hurt businesses. They destroy lives. And the worst part? Founders face it alone. Here’s what still shocks me: → SMBs drive $5T+ GDP in the US. → Yet 40% of them aren’t profitable. I started Fuel to change that — to help businesses stay profitable, avoid cash gaps, and never have anxiety about finance. That mission keeps me up at night. And yes, saving hours on finance will never be enough for us. Our journey wasn’t pretty. I didn’t even have any background in building products: 💚 Pivot 1: Built on Google Sheets (before “no-code” was even a thing). I didn’t even know what an MVP meant. 💚 Pivot 2: Learned Python over a weekend and bolted it onto our GSheets. We became Google Sheets hackers — the best in the game (we even did GSheets workshops for enterprises). But we were still struggling to build what founders actually needed. 💚 Pivot 3: Built a full finance platform — 300+ integrations, data architecture, financial planning, KPIs, real-time data. But something was still missing. Then AI changed everything. Suddenly, our original vision became possible: Not just automating finance. Actually helping businesses become profitable (!) Democratizing enterprise-level financial management for every founder who can’t afford a CFO. Soon, we launch the next chapter of Fuel. For every founder staring at their bank account at 2 AM. For the 40% fighting to stay profitable. For the ones who refuse to give up. This is for you. While we all have sleepless nights at Fuel before our release, tell me what keeps you awake at night?

🛑⏱️ Today, wage garnishment begins for 5M borrowers with another 4M as a fast follow. Oyin A. of the The Wall Street Journal and I reconnected last week to discuss solutions to mitigate default with 25% of borrowers either actively in default or vulnerable to default (90 to 180 days late). As a founder, operator, technologist, and former borrower myself, it is extremely painful to watch multiple anticipated and avoidable crises converge due to systemic failures across three existing legacy systems: legacy technology solutions wholly unable to respond to the pace of policy changes, operational breakdowns (hours of hold when calling servicers or (now) the Default Resolution Group), and an awareness crisis due to poor communication following years of false starts around repayment. All of this is solvable and must be solved, with urgency. 🛑⏱️ Candidly enables hard working Americans to avoid default and creates a sustainable path forward in minutes. As the only AI-driven student debt platform, we employ modern technology and a mobile first approach to deliver elegant and easy user experience that delivers radically improved, automated financial outcomes, including repayment. As employers, you can proactively help your employees avoid garnishment and the cumbersome workflow you will have to execute to implement wage garnishment. We are here to help. Please DM me if you're interested in learning more. As always, Oyin A. - thank you for your leadership on this critical issue.

Most founders underestimate how hard it is to keep their numbers truly decision-ready as the business grows. We’ve bootstrapped Radicl’s growth with ruthless discipline around cash, forecasting, and scenario planning. For years, that meant a very complex, very loved, but very fragile spreadsheet that modeled our world multiple years out. It’s a big part of how we’ve survived some of the worst volatility the solar and trades industry has seen. But at a certain point, our spreadsheet stopped scaling with the business. Too many tabs, and way too much time rebuilding logic every time we wanted to answer a new question. That’s where Parallel has been a crazy smooth next step. Getting our model into the platform was quick + straightforward, but what has really impressed me most is the team behind it - Renato V.. - Easy (and fast) onboarding to avoid downtime without actionable insights - Ongoing support meetings focused on making sure we’re using the tool to its fullest, not just putting out fires - Access to multiple sharp people on their sidefrom tech folks who listen to and act on our product requests, to a business finance pros we can bounce ideas off to pressure-test how we’re approaching forecasts and decisions Their service so far has been impeccable 👌 Thanks guys! We’re still early in our journey with Parallel, but it’s already helped us trade manual spreadsheet maintenance for faster, clearer decisions. For all my entrepreneur + early-stage founder friends still living in a monster spreadsheet, do yourself a favor and go look at Parallel: https://getparallel.com/
