The winners in marketing won’t be the teams using the most AI. They’ll be the teams built best for it. What gets automated, what stays human, and where judgment becomes even more important.

If you're trying create better, more efficient, and more accurate customer service (that is also on-brand, safe and compliant), this is for you. I've spoken about how much I'm obsessed with Envive AI (formerly Spiffy AI) in the past, but it's only because they have developed a platform and system that truly aims to solve real-world e-commerce problems, not just retro-fit AI into a tech-stack for the sake of AI. Their team is completely obsessed with brand safety, compliance, guard-rails, and data-driven excellence. They continue to build world-class solutions that are changing the game for e-commerce businesses in meaningful, visible, incremental ways that are just undeniable. This case-study for Coterie is a shining example of what their platform is capable of, and how Aniket D. and his team are making the efficiencies of AI work to solve the real challenges your business is facing.

Some sales fundamentals never change. If a customer can't find your product, you don't get the sale. Shopify recently confirmed that products with clean, structured data convert at 2x the rate in AI-powered shopping experiences. That's not surprising. Whether buyers are searching on Google, a marketplace, or using AI assistants, products with accurate, well-structured data are simply easier to discover. The principle remains the same: If you're not discoverable, you're not sellable. See full article in comments.

What changes after pricing automation? Usually, everything around the process. Before: – spreadsheets everywhere – manual updates – delayed reactions to competitors – pricing meetings that solve yesterday’s problems – constant firefighting The team spends most of the time maintaining pricing instead of improving it. After automation, the shift is surprisingly simple: ✅ centralized control ✅ faster reactions ✅ consistent pricing logic ✅ visibility across the full portfolio ✅ more time for strategic decisions The biggest difference is not just speed. It’s consistency. When pricing is handled manually, every category manager, marketer, or country team tends to approach it differently. Automation creates structure: – the same rules – the same logic – the same level of control Across thousands of SKUs. And suddenly, pricing stops being a weekly task. It becomes a continuous process. The goal is not to remove humans from pricing. The goal is to remove repetitive manual work from humans. 👉 Which side are you closer to today?

“We improved margins by 10%.” Without increasing prices across the board. That was one of the key results after Gastrozone implemented Disivo’s automated pricing models. Sounds simple. But the interesting part is how it happened. Before automation, pricing changes were mostly manual: – testing prices product by product – reacting slowly – increasing prices broadly and hoping for the best Some products performed better. Some performed worse. The process was inconsistent and time-consuming. Instead of blanket price increases, Gastrozone started optimizing pricing on a product-by-product basis with clear rules and margin targets. That changed everything. Disivo automated thousands of pricing experiments within predefined limits: ✅ protecting margins ✅ keeping control over pricing logic ✅ continuously adapting pricing across the portfolio The result after the first month: 📊 +10% margin 📦 +20% new orders Better pricing is often not about charging more. It’s about pricing more intelligently. 👉 Want to see how that works in practice? Sources: https://lnkd.in/ddVjsf9x

I had the pleasure of sharing a breakdown of the next shift in commerce, published today in CTech by Calcalist. We're entering the era of agentic commerce, where AI agents are built to operate, not observe. Detection, decision, and delivery are becoming fully autonomous. At ShopperAI, we focus on execution infrastructure that connects shelf data to real-world outcomes, at scale, with speed, and zero friction. This piece outlines why the next category leaders will be those who close the loop between intelligence and action, where performance lives in the physical world, not just the dashboard. We’re not witnessing digital transformation. We’re witnessing operational replacement. Walmart is no longer “adding tech.” They’re rebuilding the infrastructure of retail around AI agents, the kind that detect, decide, and execute, without humans in the loop. They’ve hired an EVP of AI acceleration, product, and design, reporting directly to the CEO. Their engineers now earn up to $416,000. And in the first half of this year alone, they filed 1,750 H-1B visa requests, a 60% jump from two years ago, mostly for AI, software, and data roles. Walmart is shifting from human coordination to agentic orchestration. And here’s what no one wants to say out loud: The era of the human shopper, the manual shelf check, and the reactive manager is ending. The agent era is already here. Walmart, Amazon, and OpenAI have placed their bets. The only question is who will catch up, and who will be left managing the wreckage. Dashboards are no longer enough. Analytics has become a commodity. What separates winners now is action, not insight. Agentic commerce doesn’t fail at the prompt. It fails at the shelf. Real execution means: Shelf data that’s always-on and API-accessible Agents that complete transactions, not just recommend Retail operations that self-correct, without waiting for staff Walmart is not the exception, they’re the use case. A $600B+ global machine pivoting from physical scale to agentic precision. The future belongs to those who build execution layers, not slide decks.

Every day between now and January, you're losing the customers you spent thousands acquiring. The retention window is closing faster than you think. Your Black Friday and Cyber Monday customers are making a decision right now. Somewhere between now and early January, they'll either become repeat buyers... or disappear into the list of people who bought once and never came back. Research shows the first 30-60 days after acquisition are critical. So, if you're planning to "figure out retention in Q1," you're already too late. The brands that keep their holiday customers have one thing in common: They already know exactly what to send, when to send it, and how to create the visuals without bottlenecking their team. That's what Harmony Riveros and I are walking through on December 2nd at 5:00 PM CET. (Why December 2nd? Because you need this system running before your BF/CM customers make their 60-day decision.) We'll show you the AI-powered workflow fashion brands use to create personalized, segment-specific email content at scale… without waiting on your design team or blowing your budget. What you'll see: → Why you're sending the same product image to first-time buyers, recent customers, and loyal VIPs (and what to do instead) → Live demo: one product image becomes 5+ segment-specific variants in under 10 minutes → How MailerLite's Enhanced Automation makes segment-specific campaigns scalable → Real examples of how personalized visuals improve repeat-purchase rates When you register, you'll get MailerLite's exclusive BF/CM discount (valid until December 16). Plus, bonus Dreem credits. (Link to register in comments.)

I am beyond proud of our Company’s growth and our second year on the Inc. 5000. Moving up 353 spots on the Inc.5000 list is a huge deal. Yet the numbers also tell a story. 🟢 2 consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 Retailers continue to invest in smarter pricing technology, and that demand isn’t slowing down. 🟢 ↑353 spots overall on the Inc. 5000 list Behind this growth are Competerians making decisions every day across product, engineering, sales, customer success, and operations. 🟢 ↑118 spots among software companies Behind this number is our product and engineering team that keeps listening to customers, anticipating what they will need next, and turning that insight into better pricing capabilities. 🟢 ↑15 spots in the San Francisco Bay Area Proud to be moving up in a region home to some of the world’s leading tech companies (and to me:). 🟢 50+ enterprise retail clients It means 50+ businesses trusting us with one of their most important functions: pricing. Gary Swart joined oDesk in 2005, a 15-person company at that time. He came in alongside fresh funding, hired by the investors to give the company the direction it lacked. Half the team believed oDesk was a marketplace. The other half believed it was a staffing business. Both can't be right. Once the direction was set — marketplace — the people who couldn't stop complaining about it were out. His explanation was direct: "If you're going in 2 directions, you're going in no direction." He ended up with an aligned team and a set direction. Built the company to Upwork, which went public in 2018 and peaked at nearly $8 billion. A lot of founders let the direction ambiguity live too long because the conversations required to fix it are uncomfortable. Clarity makes every other decision faster. When the direction is set, a hundred smaller questions answer themselves. Endeavor Endeavor Ukraine Stanford University Stanford University Graduate School of Business

There's a pattern I keep seeing across CPG brands right now. Organic search rankings drop. Sales and market share follow. The response? Increase retail media spend to plug the gap. Great when I think about my previous role 😉. Not so great if you are the brand. It works briefly. But it's an expensive way to paper over a structural problem and in today’s climate it’s probably not a great plan to keep asking for additional budget. I see it on Amazon, on Tesco, on Carrefour and many others. The brands spending more on sponsored placements whilst their organic content is weak are just renting visibility they should own. Retail media spend is designed to amplify strong organic performance. When it becomes a substitute for it, the economics stop making sense. The brands we work with are pulling ahead and doing it differently. They fix the content and visibility gap first: titles, attributes, search terms. Then they use retail media to accelerate what's already working organically. Sponsored placements on top of strong organic presence compound positively. Sponsored placements on top of weak organic presence just burns budget. The question isn't how much to spend on retail media. It's whether your organic foundation is strong enough to make that spend worth it. See what building that foundation looks like: https://lnkd.in/gEw5NHpN

Brands are seeing fewer views on their product pages since Alexa for Shopping moved into Amazon's search bar in May. The shopping agent provides customers with a shortlist of products, so shoppers no longer have to scroll through pages of search results to find and compare their options. Shoppers who use Alexa for Shopping are more likely to make a purchase, since the agent surfaces exactly what they need. That makes every recommendation a brand doesn't get costly. Optimizing for shopping agents is different than winning share of search. Brands have to shift their strategies to update listings for agents, not keywords. In my latest piece, I wrote about how brands are making it onto Alexa for Shopping's shortlists: https://hubs.li/Q04sL-4w0 #AlexaForShopping #AEO #DigitalShelf #CPG #Ecommerce #AgenticRetail

At Christian Dior Couture, teams take action! A cornerstone of our CSR strategy that I particularly cherish is giving employees worldwide opportunities to engage with meaningful causes: ◦ Joining #PinkOctober and breast cancer awareness, through walks, runs, and many other activities ◦ Mentoring future leaders via the Women@Dior x UNESCO program ◦ Contributing to charities through salary rounding ◦ Collaborating with ERGs All LVMH Pride and EllesVMH x Dior ◦ Dedicating working hours to concrete actions through our "Dior Day for Good" initiative... In this spirit, my team and I had a truly rewarding and enjoyable morning last week with La Cravate Solidaire. To a fantastic summer 🍻 To the festivals ahead. To our colleagues out there bringing our brands to life. To our dedicated consumers. To great moments shared with friends and family. And, just as importantly, to taking the time to switch off and recharge. And it’s a well-deserved break for the team. The first half of the year has been busy, intense and demanding but, ultimately, also another great step forward. Despite the uncertainty around us, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together at Carlsberg Group. We started the year with a strong quarter, delivering growth across our regions and key categories while continuing to build a stronger and more diversified business. Across our portfolio, from international premium brands to local power brands, we brought standout campaigns to life, expanded our strategic partnership with PepsiCo into more markets, and were recognised as PepsiCo's International Bottler of the Year. We also launched Brewing Tomorrow, our ambitious, refreshed ESG programme, and continued to push the boundaries of innovation through the pioneering work of our Research Laboratory. And most recently, we announced an exciting partnership with Sapporo in Asia with great potential. All while delivering brilliant beverages to our consumers, creating those important memorable moments. Now, I am very much looking forward to spending time with my family and friends over the coming weeks - recharging and reflecting. Thank you to our customers, consumers, partners and colleagues for a great first half of the year. Enjoy the summer - I look forward to building on this momentum in the second half.

50 years with Carlsberg 👏👏 Yesterday, we added another portrait to a proud Carlsberg tradition, honouring colleagues who have been with the brewery for 50 years. Jane Tinning started as a Laboratory Assistant in 1976 and has since worked across different parts of our business, from technological development to dispense and packaging, working closely with breweries, suppliers, customers and colleagues across our markets. Alongside 150 other colleagues who have devoted much of their careers to Carlsberg Group, Jane's portrait now joins theirs in the beautiful Carlsberg Museum. A tradition first introduced in 1896 by Carl Jacobsen, who personally decided who should be painted. Following his passing, the honour was extended to all colleagues reaching this impressive milestone. As a global company with almost 180 years of history, we stand on the shoulders of thousands of incredible colleagues. Some we are lucky to have for a few years, others for almost a lifetime. Thank you, Jane, for your loyalty, dedication and 50 remarkable years with Carlsberg. And here's to many more!

I’ve been in the game for a while now. Long enough to remember, when a "data silo" was just a filing cabinet you couldn’t find the key to. ☕️ Back then, we had one system. If it wasn’t in there, it didn’t exist. No syncing, no 50+ apps, no mess. Fast forward to 2026, and we’ve "innovated" ourselves into a disaster. 📉 The average enterprise is now juggling dozens of SaaS tools. I see brilliant reps spending 30% of their week playing "data detective"—hopping between tabs just to see if a lead is warm or if stock even exists. We’ve traded selling time for manual data entry, and it’s a tragedy. 🛑 The "AI will fix it" promise is everywhere, but let me share my perspective. AI is only as good as the context you give it. If you feed a state-of-the-art model fragmented, stale data from three different silos, you just get a very polite chatbot that hallucinates your sales potential. ❌ Now, I’m lucky enough to be at the source of the fix. In the "Agentic Era," we’re moving past simple integrations. We’re building an Operational Data Layer that finally gives the sales rep (and the AI) a full story to work with. AI is incredibly clever, but it’s not a mind reader. It can’t win your deals for you if it’s working in a fog. 🌫️ If you’re tired of the manual drudgery and want to see how we’re giving sales teams their sanity back, let’s have a proper, non-salesy chat. I’ll be in the comments with a brew. ☕️👇 #AgenticEra #OperationalData #BoostSpace #ContextIsKing #WorkSmarter #SalesOps #DataStrategy

🫥 Jinými slovy, zatímco vy investujete do SEO, PPC a budování značky — AI posílá zákazníky jinam. K Amazonu.
