Why Protein Needs a Reset. Because somewhere along the way, we stopped asking what protein is supposed to do. Walk down any grocery aisle and you’ll see the same pattern: More protein. Bigger numbers. Louder claims. But here’s the truth almost no one talks about: Protein isn’t just about grams. It’s about what the protein can actually do. The challenge with most proteins today is simple: they weren’t designed for modern nutrition for clean labels, fewer ingredients, or real functionality. They were created for a different era, one where taste, stability, and performance were “fixed” with layers of added ingredients. So the industry added more: More for stability. More for texture. More for flavor. More to compensate… because the protein itself couldn’t deliver. And over time, “protein” came to mean everything around the protein not the protein itself. It’s no surprise consumers feel confused. We realized the problem wasn’t trends or diets. The problem was fundamental: No one ever rebuilt the protein. We’ve been upgrading everything around it except the protein itself. So we asked: What if the protein itself could stay balanced, stable, and smooth not because of what surrounds it, but because it naturally works that way? What if the protein wasn’t the limitation… but the solution? This is where the reset begins. And for the first time, we’re finally moving toward it. #CleanLabel #FoodTech #NextGenProtein #Innovation #NonGMO #PerformanceNutrition #FutureOfNutrition #BetterForYou #ProteinScience #PurposeDriven 스#FoodScience

If protein needs a reset, what should come next? When you step back and look at how the industry evolved, one thing becomes obvious: We never fixed the real issue. We didn’t elevate the protein itself. We just built more and more around it. Stabilizers to hold it together. Texture agents to smooth it out. Flavor systems to make it taste right. Layer after layer to compensate for what the protein couldn’t deliver. Products got more complicated. Labels got longer. Consumers got more confused. But a true reset isn’t about stripping things away. It’s about redefining what protein should actually be. What should a modern protein achieve on its own? How stable should it be without support? How smooth should it stay without help? What if performance came from the protein’s natural structure not from everything added to prop it up? That’s where the next generation begins. No louder claims. No bigger numbers. No endless “free-from” lists. Just one principle: A better protein should perform because of what it is not because of what surrounds it. And for the first time, the path toward that standard is finally becoming clear. #CleanLabel #FoodTech #NextGenProtein #Innovation #NonGMO #FutureOfNutrition #PerformanceNutrition #BetterForYou #ProteinScience #FoodScience #PurposeDriven

Find a niche market and make it real! Jesse Haynes and his co-founder Mark kept noticing the same problem: young athletes wanted high-performance eyewear built around the way they actually play — at a price families could afford. No one was making it. So they built Solaro Shades with a small group of friends. Alibaba.com gave them a direct line to manufacturers. They co-designed interchangeable lenses with softball players, detail by detail. Last year, Jesse joined us in Las Vegas for CoCreate 2025. Two things made the trip worth it. One was Accio, which now helps his small team punch above its weight. The other was manufacturers who understood what small brands are up against. But you don't always need the biggest team. Sometimes you just need the right people, and the bravery to take the leap. That's what CoCreate is about. This year, we're bringing it to Los Angeles. Glad that Accio was featured as the "AI use case of the week" in Newsweek! One thing about the three founders in it: none came from tech. A mother. A vet. A caregiver. All three ideas came from taking care of someone — a changing table that cleans itself, a pet health monitor, cutlery that's easier to hold. You don't find problems like that in a market report. You find them by being the one who deals with it, over and over. But the idea was never the hard part. Suppliers, storefront, marketing — that's what stops people. AI shouldn't just make big companies faster. It should give these three the same shot. That's what we're building Accio for. If you're carrying an idea like theirs, go try it. https://lnkd.in/giZZgTqG
