Proud moment incoming! Penny Warnock is speaking at Spotlight by Semrush on Tuesday. Big stage. Big deal. Big nerves. A little over 2 years ago when Penny came in, she was so scared she couldn't even look me in the eye ( 😜 ). Now there's going to be hundreds of people looking at her while she speaks about the quality of content! And this is what I admire most about Penny: how hard she fights for the quality of the work. She asks the awkward questions. She pushes for the better idea. And she never forgets there’s a real person reading the thing at the end. She’s also never been short of opinions on 'good' marketing. And never been short on the urge of sharing those opinions. So giving her a whole stage feels like a very sensible call. Her talk is called Proof of Care. It’s about protecting human judgement and creativity when you’re producing content at scale (spoiler alert: with AI). If you work anywhere near content right now, that’s the question. Can’t think of anyone better to take it on. If you’re at Spotlight, go and watch her do her thing!!

A year ago we took a bet on the Netherlands. Now we're putting down roots. 🌱 It's been quite a ride. Since we stepped into the Dutch market, we've teamed up with some amazing Dutch clients. Dutch breweries, a hyper-growing Dutch challenger bank, Amsterdam-based EMEA headquarters of global brands, but also small local cultural NGOs across the Randstad, and many others... So it feels like the right moment to start building a local team, and I couldn't be happier about who's kicking it off. Please welcome Ed Borsboom, Behavio's new Effectiveness Lead for Benelux. 👏🏻 Ed is a well-known insight leader who has spent years digging into the topics we love most. He knows how creative brings sales back, how behavioral science and fast thinking shape what people buy, and why distinctive brand assets matter so much. We first met last year when he moderated my session at NIMA Marketing Day, and we clicked right away. From now on, Ed will look after our expertise, thought leadership and consulting in Benelux. If you're a marketer in the Netherlands, he's the person to talk to. You can meet him at our webinar in a few weeks. We'll walk you through the practical, evidence-based playbooks we built for social media ads, which UK marketers have already loved. Ed will add the Dutch angle, with local ads and local context you won't find anywhere else. Join us, bring your questions, and get to know Ed. ⛓️💥 https://lnkd.in/dFSrCfF5

𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗸𝘁𝘂𝗿 𝗳ü𝗿 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴? 𝗭𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼-𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱-𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗸𝘁𝘂𝗿? 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗼-𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼 𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀? Micro-Frontend bedeutet also nicht weniger Governance. Everyone’s the main character. But what happens when everyone wants to be the main character? Gen Alpha are growing up in a world built around personalisation, self-expression and being unapologetically you. But when being yourself becomes the default, standing out can start to feel like the bare minimum. For brands, that means “different” needs to mean something. The question is what makes them want to listen? Getting customers to sign up for your loyalty program is one thing. Getting them to actually use it? That's the real challenge. 🎯 Too many loyalty programs lose momentum after the initial sign-up. Members stop engaging, rewards go unnoticed, and repeat purchases never happen. BRAME helps you change that with gamification. ✅ Turn passive members into active participants ✅ Give customers exciting reasons to return ✅ Drive repeat engagement with interactive games and rewards ✅ Launch gamified campaigns without coding Because loyalty isn't built at sign-up. It's built with every reason to come back. 👉 Discover how BRAME can help you boost loyalty engagement.

The most useful thing you can do in a budget meeting isn't to push back on a number. It's to translate it. Marketing talks about a campaign in terms of reach, relevance, creative ambition. Finance talks about cost per outcome, returns, risk. Whilst neither side is wrong, they just aren't speaking the same language. Budget meetings can end up heading towards a stalemate where the only lever left to pull is usually "cut the budget". That's where Procurement can step in. Translating Marketing's ambition into terms Finance can get behind commercially, and Finance's constraints into terms Marketing can still work with creatively. The budget doesn't need to get smaller. It needs to get approved. With Marketing Procurement involved, both sides are able to understand what the other is actually asking for. #procurementefficiencies #marketingprocurement #marketingprocurementtransformation #Futureofmarketingprocurement

Can Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot manage your email campaigns? Yes. The Elastic Email MCP server connects any MCP-compatible assistant in agent mode to your Elastic Email account, so you create campaigns, send transactional or bulk email, and manage contacts, lists, and segments by describing what you want instead of clicking through a dashboard or writing API calls. What that looks like in practice, using the examples from our article: • "Provide the contact lists from my account." • "Send a welcome email to [email protected] from [email protected] using the Welcome template." • "Create a new campaign called October Launch to the VIP list from [email protected]." For a campaign, the agent asks for what it still needs (subject, content, sender) before it does anything. In tools that support it, such as Copilot in VS Code, you can review each request before it's sent, which is the setting we'd leave on. Two things we tell everyone: be specific in the prompt, because a vague request leaves room for the model to guess, and start a new chat if the agent gets stuck retrying an old instruction.
