🚛 Hvad har jeg egentlig lært efter et halvt år i en ny branche? 💡 De næste 10 uger frem til jul vil jeg hver uge dele lidt om, hvad jeg har lært ved at arbejde i FreightSolution. Det er en næsten ny branche for mig, med nye mennesker og en startup virksomhed med under 50 ansatte. Tre ting, jeg har lært indtil nu 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ 1. Kunderne har brug for mere end et fakturatjek. De har brug for en at sparre om hele fragtaftalen. 2. I en startup virksomhed er der kort fra idé til handling, men processer og oplæring er ikke nødvendigvis spot on hver gang. 3. Fragt er mere komplekst, end jeg troede. Tillæg som BAF og ETS ændrer sig ofte, og det er nemt at miste overblikket. Som logistikchef eller CFO er det svært at holde overblikket over fragtaftalen. Det er ikke, fordi I ikke kan selv, men tid, systemer og overblik er knappe ressourcer. Det vil vi gerne hjælpe med. Husker du at få alle dine særlige krav og behov med i din tender? For hvis en transportør ikke kender dine særlige krav, så kan de ikke give dig det rette tilbud. Eller den rette service på den lange bane. Og det er ofte lige præcis de små detaljer – de særlige behov – der bliver overset i en tender. Ofte tænker man kun på at sende sin sendingsstatistik som tal – vægt, volumen, destinationer. Men det du rent faktisk sender, er kun en del af billedet. Det fulde billede er, når du medtager dine særlige forhold – altså de små ting, der er vigtige i dit setup. Fx opmærkninger, faste afhentningstidspunkter eller krav fra dine egne kunder. Altså de små detaljer, man hurtigt glemmer at nævne – indtil transportøren ikke kan håndtere dem, og det koster dyrt bagefter. Derfor anbefaler vi altid at lave en fuld gennemgang af hele dit setup, før du sender dit udbud. Du kan overveje spørgsmål som: Har du specialaftaler om leverance på bestemte tidspunkter? Har dine kunder særlige krav, der skal overholdes? Skal varen afhentes inden for en bestemt tidsperiode? Er der særlige krav på lageret – fx opmærkninger? Har du modtagere med særlige bookingkrav, fx Zalando, Amazon eller Loop? Skal ordren kunne trackes? --- Jo mere information du får med her, jo bedre forudsætninger har du for et godt samarbejde – og dermed billigere i sidste ende. Det gælder, uanset om du er en stor eller lille virksomhed. For selv de store organisationer kommer af og til galt afsted, fordi noget bliver glemt. Og det kan hurtigt koste dyrt.

Anna Göras of Aviator Airport Alliance AB at Stockholm-Arlanda reflects on receiving the Soul of the Year Award at the 2025 Avia Solutions Group “Highflyers” Employee of the Year Awards. 🎖️ The Soul of the Year Award recognizes colleagues whose commitment, energy and positive influence make a lasting impact on the people around them - qualities Anna has demonstrated throughout more than 20 years in the industry. For Anna, motivation still comes from the people around her and from working in an environment where no two days are the same. Staying close to day-to-day operations, supporting colleagues and helping employees grow remain central to the way she leads. A key part of that leadership approach is ownership. Anna believes that when people understand what is expected of them, teams become more effective. “Ownership is the key to efficiency,” she says. “When each person feels responsible for their part, we create a stronger, safer, and more well-functioning team.” That mindset has also supported strong operational results. Investments in self-service, changes in how Passenger Services interacts with travelers and careful workforce planning have contributed to results exceeding the 2025 budget by 25% year to date. ✈️ For Anna, strong leadership also means staying visible, remaining curious and continuing to adapt as the industry evolves. She believes responsibility should exist at every level of the organization, not only in management positions. Receiving the award has given her even more energy to keep pursuing new goals: “It is wonderful recognition, and at the same time it gives me even more energy to continue working, developing and contributing going forward.” Her advice to future nominees reflects the same mindset: “Continue being yourself, don’t be afraid to take up space and believe in the work you do every day.
