When AI answers shift from week to week, people stop using the tool. Production-grade RAG cites the source passage behind every answer, measures quality over time, and lets you improve retrieval without disrupting the apps your teams rely on. The whitepaper explains what that takes.
- Progress SoftwareSince 28 Oct 2026
If your AI can retrieve a document, it should respect who is allowed to see it. Progress Agentic RAG enforces access controls centrally at retrieval time and traces every answer to its source passage. The build vs. buy whitepaper shows what a DIY team would need to build to match that.

The first simulation Reddy ever ran started out as a disaster. Day 1: nobody could log in. Day 2: logins worked. The headsets didn't. Day 3: headsets worked. The transcripts broke. Day 4: transcripts worked. The responses came back too slow. This was back in 2023, only six weeks after founding the company. We now run thousands every week, but at the time we needed to figure things out fast. So, we moved into the customer’s office. Every morning we sat in the back of the training classroom, watching people use our product. Every issue we saw got fixed overnight. Then we did it again. We basically lived out of that call center for a year, and owe so much of what we learned to amazing partners like Josh Slater, Nicholas Dormans and the rest of the ISG team. Soon after the pilot, we watched as trainees left the classroom, so we followed them. They went to nesting, so we built for nesting. Then QA, then coaching, and now to entirely automated voice agents to handle pieces of the process. That's still how we work with customers today. We never planned a platform. We show up, watch how your teams actually work, and build from there.

Most losses don't happen at the end of a deal. They start with poor discovery and no cost of inaction, then show up weeks later as a slipped deal. Here is how to catch the stall while the deal is still alive.

Not to be a party pooper, but AI is doing the expensive work of finding vulnerabilities and writing fixes. Once those fixes are public, another AI can turn them into exploits before users update. We’re giving attackers a shortcut while defenders still need time to patch!! Anthropic

Commercial directors: how many prices come back on each package? Clegg Group's team used to have to remember "who you've sent them to, what you attached, and when". With ProcurePro they now get twice the tender coverage in the same time frame. More prices on every package, from the same team. Read how.

Commercial directors: does each new project start from a blank spreadsheet? Every package let through ProcurePro records who priced it, what was paid against budget and what was awarded. The next project starts from that record, so nobody has to remember who priced it last time or for how much. Read how SMD runs procurement this way.

For health systems facing a challenging contract negotiation, the end goal is fair reimbursement. That can come through Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) for eligible claims under the No Surprises Act. Or through a reasonable in-network agreement, which is likely what most would prefer. In a recent HealthLeaders piece, our CEO Max Mangum argues these aren’t competing paths. A credible IDR capability, built and proven on the out-of-network claims a system already has, ready to switch on at a moment’s notice, can make a fair agreement more attainable before either side has to test the alternative.
