We need to move beyond click-through rates. Joining us as a guest in our latest Camphouse Carpool Cannes episode is Mibbie Plouvier, Global Head of Programmatic at SAS Institute. Measuring programmatic results in B2B is uniquely challenging. A click only shows that someone took action, not whether they were interested. That’s why Mibbie’s team focuses on how much time people spend with the brand, valuing engagement quality over quantity. They use their own tools to track this. The conversation also focused on consistency. For fifty years, SAS has managed media buying in-house. They use a shared set of guidelines, so every market follows the same process. A strong ad keeps running, even after the team is tired of seeing it. "There's something beautiful about consistency. If you have a great ad, keep it running even if people get tired of it." Innovation may get attention, but consistency delivers results. Link to the full episode in the comments 👇🏼. #CarpoolSeries #Cannes2026 #MediaOps #MediaPlanning

Everyone is chasing the Retail Media revenue dream, but far fewer are talking about the operational requirements that actually go in to delivering and maintaining it. In my experience, a typical day for any Retail Media team lead presents a chaotic balancing act involving multiple stakeholders. A brand pushing its latest NPD launch, buyers warning of low stock and the need for extra promotional support. Store ops worries about shopper friction, Marketing is planning its latest category event and IT is stuck amongst spiralling integration requests…all while leadership demands to know where all that incremental revenue is... Sound familiar...? 😳 The reality is that establishing a profitable In-store Retail Media Network isn’t just about installing hardware or switching on programmatic pipes. After all, you're building an enterprise grade media company, often right in the middle of a legacy retail business… That's where the friction lives. Your biggest hurdles won’t be the tech; they’ll come from winning the hearts and minds of colleagues. Success ultimately depends on aligning business requirements, managing clashing KPIs, and designing workflows that scale. The winners aren’t necessarily those with the most screens or the slickest installation. They are the operators who mastered the orchestration of data, inventory, and stakeholder management before they ever set out on scaling. Instead of asking how fast can I go live, ask yourself: Is my organisation actually ready to run a professional, competitive media business? To those tasked with building an In-store Retail Media Network: what’s the biggest internal silo or operational headache you had to break down before everything started to gel..? I’d love to hear about those battle scars in the comments. 👇🏼 #retailmedia #instore #stakeholderalignment #operationalsuccess #broadsign

- Distinctive BATSince 6 Oct 2026
When we discuss improving levels of distinctiveness and utilising DBAs, we are generally talking about what happens beyond the logo. In most cases, the logo and a consistent application and elevation should simply be a given. That said, because so much of a brand's identity cascades from that primary mark, it can significantly influence a brand's direction when planning for long-term distinctiveness. The logo debranding trend seen in recent years, which has focused on the paring back of logos, highlights the negative knock-on effects a poorly thought-out design can have on the rest of a brand. In addition, relying solely on words within a logo to communicate a brand is a misguided perspective. The Dual Coding Theory, for example, suggests that the brain processes verbal and visual information through two distinct channels. When a logo utilises both text and a distinctive graphic element, the brain creates two separate "memory traces": one for the word and one for the image. I like an even simpler example of this to paint the picture. Which would stick more in your mind if you were driving down the road: the word “Shell” written out in plain letters on a big poster, or the iconic brand icon?

Because we bridge the gap between enablement and execution. We turn standard meetings into measurable results and scale partner impact across the board. Action, not theory. That's what strengthens partner relationships where it actually matters: in the field. It's time to stop hoping partners will act, and start creating the conditions where selling happens right now.

I’ll be at Skift Creators Summit in NYC on September 22, with our co-founder and CEO, Dan Holowack, who’ll be taking the stage to answer a question we’ve been thinking a lot about: What does it actually take to scale creator content across a global travel brand? The creator economy is evolving quickly. Brands are moving beyond one-off influencer campaigns and looking for ways to build a more consistent, scalable engine for content that feels social forward and native to platforms. Social isn’t just where travelers consume content. It’s where they go to discover destinations, hotels, experiences and airlines they’re considering. And according to Expedia Group, 61% of travelers now say they use social media for travel inspiration, up from just 35% in 2022. That creates a new challenge for travel brands: building a scalable engine for content that feels native to where discovery is actually happening. Dan will share what we’re seeing, what brands need to rethink, and what it takes to bring local creator content into a production model that can actually scale. Stay tuned for more from the conversation at the Skift Creators Summit! 👀 And if you’re interested in staying up to date on the shifting creator economy, platform native content, and what’s trending and performing, subscribe to our Trend Tracker newsletter ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dvbwSvp7

I'm going to be blunt... If you're still relying on referrals to show up by accident, you're leaving serious revenue on the table. You're great at what you do. Your referral partners just aren't seeing you on LinkedIn. The old way: ❌ Wait for referrals → hope they come → feast or famine revenue ❌ Cold pitching prospects → bar-rule risk → wasted time ❌ Pay for lead-gen directories → price shoppers → compete on cost ❌ Sporadic marketing → only when business slows down ❌ No online presence → referral partners can't find or vet you The new way (2026): ✅ Consistent LinkedIn presence → stay top of mind with the partners who already trust you ✅ Done-for-you message templates → start real conversations, not cold pitches ✅ A 15-minute daily habit → outreach that compounds instead of piling up ✅ Predictable referral pipeline → real conversations that turn into cases Most firm owners (solo or teams under 20 attorneys) are still playing the referral waiting game. The ones who aren't? They're using a handful of message templates and 15 minutes a day to start real conversations with referral partners on LinkedIn — no cold pitching, no guessing what to say. I put the exact templates and daily system in the LinkedIn Outreach Playbook — built specifically for attorneys.
