In hearing technology, the smallest details carry the biggest responsibility. A connector that fails under bending. A cable that can't fit the next generation of devices. A design that works in the lab - but not on the production floor. These are the problems we think about every day. At estron, we don't wait for the problem to surface. We ask the difficult questions early - so your design reaches production without the detours. We’ll be at EUHA 2026 in Hannover, 14–15 October. We’re not exhibiting, but our team will be there to share some of our latest developments and discuss what’s next in hearing device design. If you’d like to meet, reach out and book a time with us in advance.

A brilliant design is only as good as its ability to be produced at scale. Too often, engineering teams discover late in the process that their component choice creates problems in assembly, durability, or high-volume production. estron works as an extension of your R&D team - from the first blueprint to stable, global supply. We ask the difficult questions early, so you avoid costly redesigns and reach production on time. 30 years of specialised micro-engineering. Long-standing partnerships with the industry's leading players. And a team small enough to adapt - experienced enough to deliver. We’ll be at EUHA 2026, come talk to the engineers behind the connection.

Some awards you chase. Others quietly remind you why you do the work. Last week, at Delta Electronics EMEA Partner Event in Trenčín, Slovakia, FORTEC Switzerland received the "Outstanding Growth Partner" #award. We won't pretend it happened on its own, but it does make us proud! It's built from small moments, a customer's engineer who needed one more spec sheet late in the evening, a Delta colleague who tracked down stock when there was none, a project that almost didn't ship in time and did. So today isn't really about the award. It's a thank you, to Delta for a #partnership we don't take for granted, and to every customer who trusted us with their #PowerSupply projects along the way. Grateful, and looking forward to what we build together next. 🔍 Curious what Delta's power solutions can do for your next project? Let's talk! 🏆⚡️ Kind regards, Your team FORTEC Switzerland Leading in Power & Displays. Since 1979.

For years, building a good-looking industrial HMI (Human-Machine Interface) meant the same trade-off: either you pay for a powerful (and expensive) application processor, or you accept a clunky, low-res display driven by an #MCU (Microcontroller Unit) that's already busy doing its real job, running the machine. That trade-off just got a lot smaller. PANASYS DISPLAY has launched a new BT820 EVE series intelligent display module that puts graphics rendering, capacitive touch, and audio processing onto a single onboard #chip, one that talks to your existing MCU over a simple SPI link. Full HD 1920×1080, up to 1920×1200 on large LVDS panels, live video input at 60 fps, and a 16 KB display list rendered straight from external DDR3; all handled directly by the display, outside your host controller. Your MCU stays free to do what it was designed for, control logic, safety interlocks, communication, while the display itself carries the entire #visual load. Where that matters most is across the sectors we serve every day: 🔹 Industrial: HVAC controllers, factory-floor status panels, and building automation dashboards that need to look modern without a BOM increase. 🔹 Transportation: passenger information and control panels where every extra component is a reliability risk. 🔹 Medical: devices that need crisp, responsive touch interfaces without redesigning the whole electronics stack. 🔹 Avionics, Space & Defence: where reducing component count isn't just about cost, it's about reducing points of failure. That's the real shift here: advanced HMI capability is no longer gated behind a bigger, pricier processor. It's becoming a design decision you can make at the #display level. At FORTEC Switzerland AG, we help engineering teams navigate exactly this kind of decision, matching the right display module to the application. Curious whether Panasys' new intelligent display could simplify your next design? We are happy to help you decide (see the meeting link in the comments). 🖥⚡️ Kind regards, Your team FORTEC Switzerland Leading in Power & Displays. Since 1979. Forget the bandwidth contention typical of daisy-chained or USB-bound imaging systems. Every camera added to a legacy setup competes for the same pipe. Frame drops, latency spikes, and synchronisation failures aren't bugs - they're the inevitable result of architecture that was never designed for multi-camera scale. The XGbE series eliminates contention by design. Each unit gets its own dedicated 10 Gb/s SFP+ link. Cameras don't share bandwidth - they never even see each other on the wire. Traffic aggregates cleanly at the switch and feeds your acquisition server at 100 Gb/s. Add a camera, add a port. The rest of the array is untouched. This is what interference-free, observatory-grade imaging looks like. 👉 Talk to an Atik engineer about your current setup.

How to handle a massive amount of high-resolution imagery across multiple cameras simultaneously? With the right architecture, it stops being a problem - and becomes a competitive advantage. The XGbE series cluster topology receives data at 100 Gb/s or higher, distributes processing across servers, and maintains GPS-level frame synchronisation across every camera in the array. No bottlenecks. No timing drift. No single point of failure. Start with a few units. Scale to hundreds. The infrastructure logic stays exactly the same. For SSA/SDA programmes where coverage, uptime, and data integrity are non-negotiable, this is what observatory-grade looks like in 2026. 👉 Request a proposal scoped to your deployment.

In a medium-voltage grounding setup, the NER is not just a resistor in the diagram. It is part of how the system is protected when something goes wrong. Fault-current level. Grounding logic. Protection philosophy. System fit. That is why neutral earthing resistor specification should not be treated like a generic component choice. It sits inside one of the most important technical decisions in the setup. See how Danotherm approaches NER definition and what should be clarified before specification begins.

A phase-to-neutral fault is a short event. The damage it can cause is not. That is why a neutral earthing resistor is not just another technical detail in the system. It is part of how fault current is kept controlled instead of allowed to escalate into damage to transformers, cables, switchgear, and surrounding equipment. If the current is not controlled properly, the rest of the system pays for it. If it is, the protection philosophy actually holds. See how Danotherm approaches NER definition and why the first step is understanding the system before defining the resistor. Visit the website and define your NER.

Global markets can shift quickly. Technology investments are made for the long term. At the Global Photonics Economic Forum 2026, Axetris and Leister Group CEO Dr. Nicolas Niedhart joined executives and industry leaders to discuss how geopolitics, changing trade patterns and regionalization are influencing supply chains and long-term investment decisions. During the panel “Geopolitics, Supply Chains & Global Representation,” Nicolas shared a perspective shaped by serving customers across global markets: resilience requires decisions that extend beyond short-term market developments. One exchange around price versus availability offered a practical example. Nicolas pointed to availability as the priority, reflecting how dependable supply has become an important consideration for customers and manufacturers alike. That long-term perspective is also reflected in Leister Group’s continued investment in its Swiss manufacturing footprint, including the expansion of Axetris’ micro-optics production capabilities. Switzerland remains a strategic foundation for supplying customers worldwide with reliability, consistent quality and technological expertise. A sincere thank you to Marisa Edmund, Chairman & CEO of Edmund Optics, for chairing the session and guiding the exchange, and to fellow panelists Jason Wildt (Head of Photonics, Jabil), Ross F. Goodman, Esq. (University at Albany, Director - NYS CATN2 and NYS CENN), Shai Lavy (Managing Director, Prolog Optics Ltd.), Andreas Nitze (Head of Government Affairs Germany, ASML) and Jim Hasegawa (President OC Division, SENKO Advanced Components, Inc.) for contributing their perspectives from across the global photonics ecosystem. And a special thank you to Jose Pozo and Optica for bringing the industry together at GPEF and for Jose’s continued commitment to creating dialogue and connections across the global photonics community.
